8821  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-01-21] - Bitcoin, not legal in Canada on: January 21, 2014, 06:42:18 PM
Not legal tender != illegal

Euros are not legal tender in Canada either. Are they illegal?
I am going to agree with this. Your title is very very misleading.

I am calling fake on all the accounts that look like this. Those stats can only be acquired in one way. Log on to the forum and post once every week. That will gain you 1 activity point and 1 post. Which ends up looking like that.

I am not saying all of them are fake, but I'm willing to bet on the fact that at least 90% is fake.
8823  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: [ANN] Mine Spy - App for your Smart Phone! on: January 21, 2014, 08:38:38 AM
so take it up with him in pm, or get the app and check it. Why just blatantly accuse him of trying to steal wallets?
Can't you read?

Just to be clear, I don't say that you are a scammer nor that you won't scam. I just want people to be cautious, because that is needed these days. I do wish you good luck with your program and I hope that you earn a fair buck from it Wink
I didn't accuse him of anything nor was that my intention.
8824  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: [ANN] Mine Spy - App for your Smart Phone! on: January 21, 2014, 07:36:12 AM
What is all this. How is he stealing a wallet with an app that controls cgminer. If you're worried about that kind of penetration, then any app could be stealing your data, and you aren't being careful enough.
Stealing a wallet isn't that hard to add inside your code. He only needs wireless permission to send it to itself and he needs that anyway. And yes, I know that any app could steal my data, that is why I always check an app if I don't trust it. Reverse engineer is awesome to do.
8825  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: [ANN] Mine Spy - App for your Smart Phone! on: January 21, 2014, 07:08:20 AM
Well, I'd post the source however I would no longer have the ability to charge for the app which I plan to use to make a living on. I'm not so good at trading so I create services and products like this in order to survive. I'm fairly well known with quite a few of the high ups at Cryptsy, Vern (Chatted with him a a few times on skype about Cryptsy's api), Bit John, Mullick, Pr9me, I've worked on openex.pw (https://openex.pw/index.php?page=about, name is listed there). (I go by MattSmith most of the time.) I don't want to come across as a bad person, I'm trying to earn an honest living. Stealing wallets will not happen, I won't lose my credibility with the people I've come to gain trust from for something so silly and something that won't last.
Stating to whom you talk, doesn't increase the trust I have towards you. I mean I could state that I had a huge conversation with theymos (I did talk to him once, but that is a different subject for a different time). Also, the openex.pw one doesn't proof anything to me. Because, I am Krichwins, but I don't use that name here (No, I am not Krichwins, this is just an example. I don't know this person nor am I this person. I just picked someone from the staff list to get my point across). I want to believe that you won't steal wallets, but, you know, trust is hard to find these days.

"Knowing" OP for quite some time now in the community, I can say that'll never happen.  He's not some troll looking for a quick buck like many of those out there.

Also, if that ever were to happen Matt would be banned from selling in the android store so why risk it?
That doesn't say anything. TF was well known and trusted by many many people, but he still stole shitloads of BTC. He didn't look like a troll nor a scammer. See my point? Getting banned on the Google Play Store isn't a big problem if you ask me. You simply create a new account, pay 5 bucks and you can continue with the scam (which will earn you a lot more than those 5 bucks).

Just to be clear, I don't say that you are a scammer nor that you won't scam. I just want people to be cautious, because that is needed these days. I do wish you good luck with your program and I hope that you earn a fair buck from it Wink

And how can we, as a community, know for sure that you won't steal wallets or something like that?
8827  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: Is bitcoinminerz.nl veilig? on: January 20, 2014, 08:19:51 PM
De domainnaam zelf zegt toch al genoeg? Minerz? Serieus?
8828  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: koers verwachting on: January 20, 2014, 11:13:41 AM

They look good, but 43 dollars? Meh, dunno yet. Might get one of those, because why the hell not?

Price is $19 for coin, hologram and air-tite case or $29 for the entire kit, including coin pouch, coin stand, labels, hologram, gift box. I'm not sure where you got $43 from.

Edit: Ahh, maybe you are including shipping since it looks like you are located in The Netherlands. PM me with your location and I'll see if I can find a way to get the shipping cost down.
Yeah, it's the shipment that is biting my ass. It's almost as much as the coin itself. I will send you a PM later today and if I don't please send me one, post here or slap me in the face, haha.
8830  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: koers verwachting on: January 18, 2014, 11:47:32 AM

8831  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: koers verwachting on: January 18, 2014, 11:41:21 AM
8832  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: koers verwachting on: January 17, 2014, 11:47:05 PM
Weet iemand waardoor de huidige drop is getriggerd?

De US wil de 30.000 BTC van Silkroad gaan verkopen op een veiling.
En ook, nuja, de trollbox
Ah, I see. ik weet genoeg, hahaha.

I did a stupid thing long ago when Bitcoin was new, I bought 100 dollars worth of Bitcoin when I was 12, Because my dad go me a PayPal account with 100 dollars in it.

And I had 102 Bitcoins, I sold it two weeks later for $80, Now I bet that guy is rich as fuck.  Angry

Many others sold at $16

Lol, I could of bought this site off theymos. and change my name to B1T_L0RD

Theymos has 2,200 bitcoins, so I doubt you could have.
Are you offended bro?
He is just stating that Theymos, most likely, wouldn't have sold it. That's all.

8836  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: CoinLenders Lawsuit on: January 16, 2014, 10:30:31 AM
I've received a response.  The WA Police are waiting on some information on a couple of accounts they believe TF uses.
If it is confirmed TF resides in NSW then the NSW Police will take over the investigation.

Does anyone have any further information on TF's identity such as mobile number, DOB, home address, anything?

It is also possible that BTC may not be seen as a legitimate currency that can be stolen in the eyes of the law, obviously if that happens then we're all screwed Smiley
Judges in The Netherlands decided (at least twice) that virtual items still hold value and thus can be punished the same way as stealing a "real" item. So just sue him in The Netherlands or somehow use those decisions against him.
8837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 42! on: January 15, 2014, 02:23:13 PM
I think that 42 already survived initial pump and dump stage and now it has decent chance for being there as one of the major altcoins.
I laughed.
8838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 42! on: January 15, 2014, 12:00:10 PM
There are altcoins coming out every, single, fucking day. People don't care about 99% of them, why? 'Cause they are pump and dump coins. Useless and worthless, unless you are one of the people who could (pre)mine the coin before it hits an exchange.
