8842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any Website To Record Your Cryptocurrencies? on: March 01, 2014, 09:34:54 PM
I am looking for a website to record all my cryptocurrencies on that draw their prices/values from various online exchanges and give me a total value of each currency, and give me a total overall BTC & USD value for all my recorded currencies.

Does this exist?

Currently I am doing this manually with a spreadsheet, but it's time consuming.

let me know if you will find one like that Smiley)

It would be nice.
8843  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this 'Cold Storage' ? on: March 01, 2014, 09:29:56 PM
Downloaded a live TailsOS USB

Boot into TailsOS and download Bitcoin-QT Linux,

Disconnected from internet

Generate new addresses

dumpprivkey [address]

write down / save private keys to USB / paper

restarted Tails to clear everything from the Amnesia folder

logged into windows and logged into my blockchain.info wallet

send bitcoin to public addresses of cold storage

is this cold storage & safe?

Indeed Smiley well done Smiley 100% success.

Just keep your pvkeys safe.

8847  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: How Redo Armory Install on Online Comp Without Changing Install on Offline Comp? on: March 01, 2014, 09:14:53 PM
Greetings,

I have a couple of BTC in cold storage on an offline computer.  I want to do a complete new reinstall of the OS on my online computer, which entails reinstalling the Armory wallet.  However, I want to leave the offline computer untouched.

Is this possible or do I have to reinstall the same new armory wallet on the offline computer as well?

If someone could outline the coarse steps / key things to watch for, or could just point me to the right thread.

Pardon the noob question but I don't want to mess it up.

Thanks.

wait wait. I am not an armory cold storage expert, but just reinstall OS on online computer and install whatever you want.

Do not touch offline cold storage one and thats it. BTW arent you afraid of HDD fails? Cold storage should be made on some durable device.
8848  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [TRUSTED] #1 PONZI | 130% Payouts | NEW ROUND STARTING | [TRUSTED] on: March 01, 2014, 09:11:49 PM

| Get back 130% | Manual Payouts| Long Life Ponzi |

Send from 0.1 BTC to 0.50 BTC and get back 130% when another person sends his BTC. Only 1 Confirm to take withdraw.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How does #1 PONZI work?
Send bitcoin to 1Pc9qX4Xy1TYr2ayWXUUNWP652r9ijdfg4 , and you'll get back 130% of the deposit. The returns on your investment come from other investors, so as long as people invest after you, your payout is guaranteed!

#1 PONZI delivers one Ponzi program per week. Basically at the end of each week the Ponzi program will end and another one will start in it's place. Don't be the last to deposit before it ends, it's always a gamble. You can view the time left of the current program on the home page.

How do I know I won't be scammed?
You can view ALL of our activity on the Blockchain. It's impossible for us to cheat you out of your money without EVERYONE seeing.

The program ended and I didn't get paid out. What the hell?
Unlucky, the last investors of each week take the highest gamble. Try again on the next restart!

How long does it take to receive the payout?
It depends on the bank balance and how many people are depositing.

Any further questions? Post them below or PM me.

Please show others proof of payment, post your txid below.

Another great trusted Ponzi 144% legit Smiley

Good luck. And I am waiting for a day when Ponzis will vanish from this forum.

Polish band KAZIK, I can only speak about 4 words of Polish, but I still enjoy it, my friend can speak alot more than me so he tries to translate along to it but usually fails  Cool

Edit: The bands called KULT but the main dude in it is called Kazik, i think...  Huh

There is like that:

Kazik is Kazik Staszewski - and there was two music bands with him as a leader

Kazik was a leader of "Kazik na żywo (KNŻ)" band  and "Kult" band.

8854  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never Invest in Haste Under Stress on: March 01, 2014, 08:21:40 PM
I don't think I have ever felt like such a failure in my life.
A few weeks ago, a dead tree fell on my house in Florida after a large storm and the insurance company would not pay me claiming negligence on my part.
The repairs were going to be at least 15k-20k out of my own pocket.
My parents left me the house for me to go to college after they left the country.
I have been following BTC, but never really put any large sum of money into it.
When Mt Gox went down to $300, I put in $10k and exchanged to BTC (all the money that I had) into the exchange out of stress, anxiety, confusion, and bad judgement.
Now it's all gone, all the money i earned from my work as a lab tech in college. I don't know what to do. There is a tarp on my house which is split in half and I'm so close to graduating from college.
I knew it was a bad idea, but I felt like I had no choice for some reason. The insurance company pissed me off so much and my judgement became clouded.
Never invest when your judgement may be clouded guys.

yeah man. Head up and things will get better soon Smiley

Lesson learned. Remember it in the future.

Kind regards and best wishes!

Has anybody actually located the 800,000 or so BTC supposedly stolen from Mt. Gox on the blockchain?

I am sure that attackers deposit stolen BTC on multiple wallets. So it would be harder to find Smiley

I think they did though about that Tongue
