8841  Other / Beginners & Help / New hunters shouldn't keep token on genaral MyEtherwallet that using for bounty. on: August 06, 2018, 09:23:02 AM
Recently many cases I have seen for hacked MyEtherwallet.  Million dollar and token has been stolen by hacker. Especially those are new hunters, they are not much aware about technic of hackers. You can see example here how scamed MyEtherwallet, [SCAM ALERT] EOSGAS hacking MyEtherwallet by asking KYC & sign message . They are hacked very cleverly.

Basically hunter using same wallet for bounty. It's ok, rather than make multiple wallet use single wallet.

My suggestion to avoid scam move your token and eth to other MyEtherwallet account that are personal. I mean it will be use only for store token. After receive your token transfer instantly your personal MyEtherwallet. And personal account should not be use for bounty or other site. So even by mistake you visit phishing site invited by scammer, your token will be safe. But when you open your personal account, should be check address bar and don't login if invited form any third party website. Remember again personal address shouldn't be use for bounty or third party website. Just use it like cold store.

May be you will lose some gas fee but I believe you can save your hard work money.
8842  Other / Meta / Re: CASE > Clixco.in @Mods, Lock/trash the ANN, ban the OP. on: August 06, 2018, 07:59:12 AM
Good catch. It's clear that they are partially bumping their ANN thread. They are rewarding for reply about daily earning. Is it necessary? I don't think. Since this kind of case not moderated by forum, hope DT member's will tag them. On the other hand I was reported some similar case, but report was unhandled by moderator. I believe personally, this kind of special case should be handle by moderator to. There is clear sign that they are trying to bumping ANN.

I would like to  request moderator for this kind of case should be consider removed thread. And OP should be ban temporary.
8843  Other / Meta / Re: Why aren't obvious scammers banned? on: August 06, 2018, 03:01:44 AM
Why aren't the obvious scammers banned from this forum?  I was reading through scam accusations and have come across a lot of serious cases.  For example this user is a scammer that stole 20 btc https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=358020

I would consider these type of people much more harmful than someone that plagiarizes.

Scam are not moderated by forum. But I don't know exactly why. There are many case that well proven scammer with solid evidence. Why they should not be ban from forum ? Is red tag from DT enough ? Scammer will take chance to scam other. Although it's very hard to prove scammer. But those case are clear & there is good evidence, I think they should be ban. So that he can't scam again by same account. I know scammer might be create an new account but it will not trustworthy.

8845  Economy / Services / Re: Help needed to get a token (coin) listed on Coinmarketcap on: August 05, 2018, 06:22:50 AM
Coin should be listed on exchange first. Those exchange are listed on CMC. Daily volume should be more than 100K. Otherwise  they will not listed in my opinion.
8846  Economy / Reputation / Re: We need to tag people for not using escrow! on: August 05, 2018, 06:08:34 AM
Idea is good. But it will be little bit complicated. Escrow for btc or eth camping will working fine. As well as many managers using escrow for btc sign campaign. When you will come for token escrow, I think it will not effective. We know that before listed on exchange there is no value for erc20 token. And there is question of huge gas fee. Even ICO owner send escrow in token, I think it will not much useful. Scam means scam. It will be better option if they escrow by btc or eth. Unfortunately no one will do that. Bounty campaign system has been corrupted. Past reputed members have no much campaign recently you can see that. Most of Jr. Members making bounty thread. It's the main problem even they don't have much idea about crypto currency. And ICO owners choice the cheapest price or for token. At first there should be posting rule. Below member rank should not allow to post. So ICO owner can post himself or can't choice Jr. Member.  Then he will come to the reputed member's. But also it will not much effective if there is no managers community.

Regarding red tag, think it's not possible. Because no one forcing people to join their bounty. People joined themselves even they create multiple account. Bounty section is corrupted by some managers. It can't be recover .
8847  Other / Meta / Re: Icon for banned user on: August 05, 2018, 05:50:54 AM
Idea is good. But I think admin don't want to expose them. As you suggest for temporary ban use a icon, it can be implement. Admin can consider it. For parmanent ban that means he can't use any more his/her account. It can't be delete because there is chance for appeal. On the other hand if delete parmanetly from server, banned people can create an account using previous email. That's prohibited by forum rule. You are not allow to create other account if you ban ( unless you need appeal).
8848  Other / Meta / Re: Day and Night Mode for Bitcointalk on: August 05, 2018, 05:39:50 AM
I don't think it's necessary to implement day/night mode for this forum. As well as forum background is not colorized. It's looking fine. If some time I feel problem then I use my mobile brightness. It's almost helpful for me. I didn't used any external software.
8849  Other / Meta / Re: Images within posts. on: August 05, 2018, 05:30:24 AM
Hello I am trying to get an announcement thread setup and to add in various images for announcement thread but are just showing as a link rather than the image when previewing the thread. Is their some kind of  restriction set in place? If so can this be lifted and granted permission to post images within announcement thread.

Thank you

Go to this page and spend a few bucks to buy a copper membership to enable posting images as a newbie, don't be cheap.

Digaran already answered you. You can buy cooper membership in order to post with photo or you have to wait for increase your activity up to 30. That means for 30 activity you have to wait mote than 4 weeks. So almost you have to wait one month. I think better buy copper membership or hire a potential members for make Ann on behalf of you. But I think better option to buy copper membership if you want control thread yourself.
8850  Other / Meta / Re: How to remain calm and cool on Bitcointalk ? - Question on: August 04, 2018, 08:17:38 PM
This forum is for fair discussion of Bitcoin and other crypto currency. Share knowledge and learning lot of thing. You can compare it like a crypto academy. Stay away from spam.
8851  Other / Meta / Re: User using self-moderated thread to bypass 24h to delete post in altcoin board on: August 04, 2018, 01:46:51 PM
You are correct. Spammer using self-moderated thread for spamming. I was also made a thread about it , Badly bumping ANN Thread ( self moderated). Using newbie account. I was suggest to remove self moderation from Marketplace ( Altcoins). So spammer and scammer will not able to spam. Some time if we found any scam ICO and we reply on thread than they delete our reply due to self moderate.
8852  Other / Meta / Re: Merit source visit Scam Accusation board occasionally on: August 04, 2018, 06:52:43 AM
I like your suggestion and I hope that the merit sources give it a thought.

But I also have a suggestion for you. Looking at your post history (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1980983;sa=showPosts) , you recently made some thread in that section (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4813326.msg43420993#msg43420993). That does not give a good impression. You are actually weakening your chances of getting merits by doing this. This thread would have far more weight if you have posted it without making a recent post in that section.

I am not clear what you mean exactly. And why use unnecessary bold character. What is wrong in my post history can you please point me clearly ? So that I can improve & correction my self. Your advice will be highly appriceated. But explain clearly and don't use useless bold character.
On the other hand I didn't me or other user for merit. I am happy whatever I have. I suggest to source. They will visit or not it's depend on them. I am not asking personally meriting some one, so there is not important to visit user post history. It's important how valid their Scam Accusation thread. It's only for motivate people.

I surprised when I saw your

Archived

Very good post on your profile with potential and high quality content. I don't know how you received 3 merit. Is your reply deserve 3 merit or you bought I am not sure.

With merit being so permanent and scam accusations so difficult to consistently determine who is right, it makes it a tricky section to hand out merit.

Yes you are right it's difficult on some case, but not on all case. Especially fake team, cheating with total supply and copied whitepaper there is clear proof. Nothing difficult for judgement they are supiciaus and might be scam. You no need much time to check it as well proof is their.

For example please read this post , Pure Scam "XeonFrame" ICO with fake team. Stay away from it and save your money. There is clear that they used fake team member. There is not difficult to judge that they can scam.
I think they already Exit. Social media not active and telegram group has been deleted.
8853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Great news for Ethereum Classic holder (ETC). Coinbase will listed on 7th August on: August 04, 2018, 06:38:47 AM
It's the great news whoever hold Ethereum Classic (ETC). Coinbase going to listed on 7th August. They have made a tweet few hours ago.
Final testing for ETC support on coinbase.
Quote from coinbase tweet.
Quote
Our engineering team is beginning final testing of Ethereum Classic on Coinbase products. We expect final testing to be completed by Tuesday, August 7, at which point we expect to announce that we’re ready to accept inbound transfers of ETC.

I think it will be more bump after got listed on coinbase. I think future of ETC is most likely Bitcoin cash. May be price will raised up rapidly.

What you think about Ethereum Classic (ETC) ?
8854  Economy / Scam Accusations / Ucoin cash Exit scam !!! on: August 04, 2018, 06:12:48 AM
I don't know who have remember about Ucoin cash lending platform. I have remember about their huge scam. Exactly I don't know how many million USD they scamed. It was one of biggest scam.

Website: https://ucoincash.co

Ann thread & scammer link : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2341240.0

They never follow whitepaper and road map. As well they was changed white paper. The ICO price was more than 1$ exactly I forget.

They closed lending long time ago. Their internal exchange is still live. But price is approx 0.01$ Lol.
They never think to listed on external exchange. They just went to scam people.

So many drama they did after end of ICO. Eventually every thing is going on vanish. Just remain is external exchange. But not much trader there.

Stay way from this kind of landing ICO on future.
8855  Other / Meta / Re: Is there anyway I can get my hacked Legendary account off the guy who hacked me? on: August 04, 2018, 04:55:07 AM

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0

8856  Other / Meta / Merit source should visit Scam Accusation board occasionally on: August 04, 2018, 04:49:36 AM
Merit source should visit Scam Accusations board occasionally. It's not my accusation, it's my request. I don't want to mention any thread or user. It's might be consider begging for specific users or thread. Especially about scam ICO or scam website related Bitcoin thread.

I believe by finding and investigating scam ICO's they are helping to improve forum reputation. As well as it's not very easy to find scam ICO like team, whitepaper, security etc. There is need spend  many times to research. By exposing scam ICO's not only  improving forum reputation, but also saving many investors fund. Since there is no reward system for exposer except merit, that's why my request to merit source for visit Scam Accusation board some times. I think there is almost 90% post are valid. There many thread that well proven scam but no merited.  I don't know a proven scam accusation thread will consider a high quality post but I think it's high useful post. Some potential member's are there & meriting some post. But I think it's not enough reward for this board.

Btw, it's depend on merit source, since there is no merit source for any specification board. I just share what is on mind. I have no complain for me or other specification user. I have got enough owing.

Hope merit source will consider that matter.
8857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Yudi - Multi-Crypto Auto Trading System by Deep Learning on: August 04, 2018, 02:56:53 AM
Guys this is an scam ICO,
Prove already given above. They used fake team from stock image. Don't invest or promote this scam ICO. You will lose your money. Please no more comment this thread , you might taged by DT for bumping this thread.

8858  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: YUDI.io - SCAM on: August 04, 2018, 02:50:21 AM
Good catch. Thanks for find out like scam. They are try to make fool us. Profile should be taged by DT. Need more people actively find this kind of ICO. So scammer will not able to raise fund.

Btw, you deserve merit for this post. But I have seen your merit history, you didn't spend your smerit. Your smerit is drying. Although some time I remind you. Please use your smerit to other people. As well you active on scam accusation board, you can spend here to motivate other people. Thanks in advanced.
8859  Other / Meta / Re: A proposed mechanism for detecting fraud scam bounty campaigns on: August 03, 2018, 09:35:15 PM
~snip~
Good catch. We should learn first before suggest to other. Op himself is spammer. Improve first your post behavior then suggest to other. This kind of idea discussed may time. Fist try yourself to identify scammers. Do your best first than come to suggest.

" We always try to change world, but we didn't try to change ourself. "

Oviusly it's managers responsible to check max. project are legit or not. And hunter should follow only reputed managers. If you joined worst managers campaign than you deserve scam. No one can save you. It's your responsibility to save yourself.
