8861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Charlie Lee working hard on LTC right now? Ofc not on: June 23, 2017, 08:20:52 PM

I got much more now on ETH and Zcash even with looses on LTC

It was 35 Eur on Segwit than its crashed absolutely nonsense to 19 Eur after Segwit.
I was invested all-in.

What do you mean by losses on Litecoin? Come on, it is doing very good and I believe this is only a start. Huge mistake to sell now! ETH is also good, though. But litecoin hasn't yet revealed all of its potential, the segwit is not even fully on yet.
As for the OP - I think every person needs some rest and it's great Lee decided to take a break.
8862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Dogecoin? on: June 23, 2017, 06:10:20 PM
There is competition seen between dogecoin and bitcoin. Bitcoin is master cryptocurrency and its value is so stable. Bitcoin value increasing rapidly. We can say bitcoin over dogecoin.
I don't even see the competition. Between bitcoin and eth, ltc? Yes, absolutely. ETH is close in marketcap, litecoin is volume. Dogecoin is cheap and weak, not able to be a strong competitor yet. The only nice thing they have is connotation to the meme. And this is an inflationary coin. It does have fast mining opportunity, though. The price is just too small for this coin to be treated seriously IMO.
8863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH selling for $0.10 on: June 23, 2017, 06:01:58 PM
ETH selling up to $0.10 is just bug on the one exchange and that is just fast crash not all of exchangers, so ethereum's price is stable again, the bad news is i was missed out this chance to getting big profit  Grin and ETH selling up to $0.10 is not problem because everything is fine right now, the traders are no panic selling because of the bug one exchanger.
I don't even believe something like that has happened. Only if it was some totally unpopular website with newbies trading and owning the site. From where did this information appear anyway? Ethereum is nowadays very expensive and I don't see any big falls on the graph. Is that a Kraken-like story again? Or even the same one?
8864  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we should fear a cashless world on: June 22, 2017, 08:39:44 AM
"In a world without cash, every payment you make will be traceable." - this is half-true. For instance, via btc wallets every transaction is traceable but, as nobody knows the owners of wallets, malicious governments can do nothing about it.
"Cash, on the other hand, empowers its users." - Well, this is quite true, because when you have the money for real - you know you can use it any time you'd like, whereas some bank or currency might end up crashed. Fiat also crashed sometimes, though.
I think we shouldn't fear the cashless world, because there will never be one. There are too many people who like to keep it old-school and they won't allow fiat to disappear. On the other hand, I guess the same article could be written about fearing the world with cash in barter times. Real fruit, milk and cows empower people. They know they can use it to eat + they are likely to exchange it with something else like flour. As for cash, the government controls it and at any moment you can end up having tons of worthless paper.
8865  Economy / Services / Re: ✪Signature Campaign✪[vDice.io]➽Ethereum Blockchain Gambling [Re-opened 4th Mnth] on: June 22, 2017, 08:26:05 AM
Hi. As the month is finishing soon, I wanted to ask whether there is any chance this campaign would continue for the next month, for that would've been great!
8866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vitalik openly admits he doesn't trust his creation on: June 22, 2017, 08:19:42 AM
Well, he said he would go to fiat if he wanted to diversify, he didn't say he really wants to do that. And I thought it's a fact he has 10% of his money in bitcoin anyway. As for him saying that he is uncertain in crypto-currency sector, perhaps he meant natural uncertainty in everything new and virtual we have in this world, not that he doesn't believe in eth or btc. Let's just not forget that he's Russian and Russia is a very traditionalist state. He is inclined not to trust innovations because that what he was told while growing, that is how he was educated. For people from Western countries it's just hard to understand it, because traditional values are opposite to Western innovative ones.
8867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [vDice.io]►Ethereum Blockchain Gambling►►**New & Awesome Version of Site on: June 22, 2017, 07:43:40 AM
Guys does anybody have any idea regarding idice.io ? It is developed by same vdice team or it is just another copy cat of vdice? Almost all function they have look similar to vdice except user interface.
Yes, and I have seen in this thread that someone written that idice is a scam. iDice member has negative trust on this forum. They write they have autobets only, I guess it makes them different from vdice. And their interface looks just like primedice. I think it is a clone of different gambling sites as well as vdice dapps. We should wait till vdice owners respond on that.
8868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you going to do when Vitalik gets impeached? on: June 20, 2017, 06:48:11 AM
Where are some hard proofs that 70 out of 92 are Vitalik's? I think this would have been a BIG-BIG scandal and, as it is not, this info looks sort of fake to me. Ethereum is not very strong and I just don't believe it is so much under control. I have searched on the Internet now and found absolutely nothing. So, actually, ethereum is doing fine and this thread is just a big lie IMO.
8869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More good news for litecoin on: June 20, 2017, 06:36:45 AM
An article summarizing some of the recent good news for LTC. Touches on some of the forward thinking of individuals and groups involved.

https://btcmanager.com/litecoin-supplanting-bitcoin-as-the-cypherpunk-cryptocurrency/
Bitstamp (EU legal exchange), btc fees unacceptable for business, btc and ltc code similarities, ltc creator finally focusing on his creation - all this is very good news. I wanted it happen. I thought it definitely should. And so did iamnotback, who was saying that litecoin will become worth $100 quite soon. No surprise that ltc is being so successful, the only surprising thing is that it happened so fast.
8870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [vDice.io]►Ethereum Blockchain Gambling►►**New & Awesome Version of Site on: June 20, 2017, 06:21:04 AM
I have also gone through it and found it quite interesting topic to discuss on. That might attract more interest to vdice but what vdice should focus on right now is to add few features like autoroll and more types of game aside just dice.
From what I learned about vDice technical background it is not possible for vDice to be as fast as centralized dice platform because every bet is linked with blockchain.
This feature is a double edged sword as vDice is both secured by blockchain and also bound to certain response time - which will limit autobet functionality.

Okay, so the transactions take some time to proceed. But there are other gambling websites that have the same thing with bitcoin. I am sure some new dapps can be created as well, the ones which will differ from those we already have with bitcoin centralized ones. Autobet might still be a good idea, because thus one can do some other stuff while the process is going. Dapps are just mostly not used, so people don't know what they are able to create with them yet.
8871  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin heading to $4,000 on: June 19, 2017, 08:33:29 PM
The price of $4,000 for bitcoin is a long run and it will not be reach this year, i think because of the possible things that will be ending up in a bad results like the upcoming forks this year and who knows if something goes wrong and that $4,000 will not be reachable anymore so i think next year is a good year for that rally price.

This is right i think so, no one know what will happen at the upcoming forks but hopefully positive things will happen after that segwit and still i can see the price of bitcoin will be heading up to $4,000 this is year, i will believe on this.
Forks and stuff threaten both bitcoin and ethereum hardly. These currencies are about to take a new step, a necessary but risky one. However, we can't think of them going hard fork and speculation, because it is a lot like speculation on apocalypsis. This would be the end of the market, the end of the currencies and ideas behind crypto-stuff. Thus, we can only hope for best and try to make it happen, for, basically, we are the ones who control the market.
8872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC doing as much volume as BTC right now on: June 19, 2017, 08:11:15 PM
For the history books
https://www.worldcoinindex.com/

On coinmarketcap the situation is not so bright but litecoin is almost as good as bitcoin: btc has $1,383,450,000 whereas ltc - $1,296,000,000. Volume is basically the sum used, the one with which transactions are performed, right? Looks like litecoin is slowly overtaking bitcoin, because it has obvious improvements. So, now it is totally wrong to call this currency a bitcoin clone. For how can a clone be more real than the original, right?
8873  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy BTC at one exchange, sell it more expensive at another? on: June 19, 2017, 08:00:40 PM
It is possible, but fees and time make it non-pratical, unfortunately.
Perhaps this idea can be more fruitfully actualized with altcoins? Some have big price differences on exchanges (like that famous story with eth and Kraken) and the transactions proceed a lot faster. The prices change faster too, though. But they mostly just grow. The only disadvantage is the potential need of different wallets to do such things with different coins and this can be hard, because you have to get used to each wallet. The fees in certain occasions might also be a hindred.
8874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ETC/LTC is now so overvalued on: June 18, 2017, 07:13:22 PM
Everyone here is crying out loud that the price of Litecoin is undervalued for a very long time and there you are asking why it is over valued, litecoin is the only coin that is under performing for a very long time and recently we had a good move and hope that the rally continues till it crosses its all time best valuation.
Exactly, it is rather undervalued than overvalued. Litecoin has fast transactions and Segwit activated which ,akes it safer than bitcoin. As for etc, it may become very popular if ethereum successfully switches to pos and miners will have to find what to mine next. As etc is the closest to eth, why not to mine this one instead? So, I guess, etc is an investment for the future events, whereas litecoin is just a good alternative to btc.
8875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC: moon or doom? on: June 17, 2017, 07:33:31 PM
Ltc to the moon the price of ltc is very high compared to the last few months and I believe the price of Ltc will increase more in the next few months. I hope the price of ltc  become $500 before the end of this year 2017. Everything is possible to happen in this crypto world. I hope ltc have big big future so we can make a lot of profit. More LTC more money .
Yes, I would also say it is going to the Moon. I was waiting for it for a month now! I knew such a coin can't be stable around thirty dollars for long. I predict the price will fall tomorrow but it will fall to 40 and we won't see litecoin $20 ever again. So, no doom here. In fact, it terms of risks, I think this is the safest coin so far. It is not likely to crush, because it already successfully got upgraded!
8876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best cheapest currency !? on: June 17, 2017, 07:21:03 PM
What are the cheapest currency best to invest?
etc, ltc, monero, dash ,ripple, nem, pot are my recomendations (price compared to btc price)

no lol monero litecoin are not cheapest currency that are very expensive, if you want to invest in cheap currency now, invest on VERGE, it's only 150 satoshi, it will increase a lot
I think for the currencies etc and ltc are - they ARE cheap. There are many other coins costing a lot cheaper but it is hard to understand what will grow and what will crush. I think buying cheap stuff (less than a dollar per coin) is too risky.
So, I guess, now is the time to buy litecoin before it is too late. It already started the pump.
8877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ETH or ETC? on: June 17, 2017, 07:10:42 PM
It seems people favor eth, i personally like etc better
Ethereum classic is going to do very well in the nearby future because to me it is some how stable than Ethereum. Op I will advise you to invest in Ethereum classic if you have a long term view but if it is for short term then go for Ethereum.
I think this is a good sum up. Eth is growing right now and it is doin suspiciously well. If everything goes as planned, it will be at least as influential as bitcoin. However, as there have already been big issues with ethereum platform before, because it is hard to allow lots of thinks and not get hacked, eth is also likely to crush because of miners not supporting the switch to pos, for instance. ETC is already a dumped version, so it is not likely to get into trouble again and may slowly go up and up.
8878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The king is already dead. on: June 16, 2017, 04:27:44 PM
Yes, Bitcoin is already dead, when Bitcoin is launched, it's the best way to send micro payments but for now, people can't (still can but with bigger fee than sending)
Bitcoin is still #1 in any rating under any criteria. Thus, we can't say it is dead. I would rather say that fees and speed form a big threat to its dominance but for now people are still ready to use it like that, because there's nothing better and although they pay big fees, they still win, because the price of it is unbelievable. Maybe btc will always stay like that, having high positions, and some other coin will be finally made suited for daily life.
8879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing into very low priced currencies for a quick profit? on: June 16, 2017, 04:15:27 PM
Most of the people here will tell you about 105 coins, which they think (and mostly - want) to increase in price. My advise is to spread your "investment" between BAT, SIA and Aragon. Problem here is that BAT and Aragon are based on Ethereum and I'm not exactly a big fan, but these are (probably) not pump & dump schemes and have much space to grow (given the fact what they can offer in future).
I believe there is a problem here we don't usually take into account. I mean the fact that one can not calculate the future truth. Even if the coins you named are potentially strong, they may die with their potency not being actualized ever. On the other hand, for some reason a worse coin might attract people's attention and become very expensive and used. Its just like with seeds. They all can turn into plants but some just won't.
8880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrenices not a good investment? on: June 16, 2017, 04:04:29 PM
Lots of people are saying that cryptocurrenices aren't a good investment because just hoarding the coins over time they will lose their value. I disagree. Not everyone is going to be hoarding for a start. If the currency has great features, potential and relatively cheap say 2 cents a coin just starting. In 3 years time it that coin became worth say 3 dollars and you decided to sell, you have made 150x what you invested. Am I missing the point here? Maybe there not good investments in the traditional sense More gambles. But still a gamble like that would of paid off so maybe it's not such a bad idea taking somewhat of a punt.
You are right that one can earn a lot if buys a coin for a couple of cents and sells it for a few dollars. But that is what others call 'no value', for thus we treat cryptos as means of earning money and nothing more. Thus, once everyone decides to sell, because they have always waited for a good time to sell, the coins crushed.
However, I would add that some coins like btc and eth are starting to get their material backup by being implemented in business projects. And this can truly save them.
