8881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If BTC Dominance will drop to 40%, what will happen? on: March 19, 2019, 05:50:57 AM
what people mistakenly call "dominance" is market capitalization ratio and if bitcoin's MCR drops to 40% or even 1% absolutely nothing will change because market cap is meaningless when it comes to altcoins specially when there is nearly 3000 of them producing useless tokens with a click of a button.

if bitcoin real dominance drops to 40% then it shows that bitcoin has lost the market to competition BUT so far bitcoin dominance is nearly 100% and we have a long way to go before even getting close to 50% let alone 40% and there is no competition so far.
Although I believe that what you said is true, dominance is an excellent gauge of price forecasting. As it represents trust in Altcoins which means more people are ready to enter the market.
The greater BTC's dominance, the less trust in altcoin, and consequently the market's cap will be lower and vice versa.
Note that this is one indicator and there may be other factors influencing the price but in general it does not mean much.
8882  Economy / Services / Re: List your coin/token on a new exchange on: March 18, 2019, 01:47:05 PM
I do not think the market needs more non-specialist trading platforms, which are managed to get money because of the inclusion of more shitcoins.
Overall, with your topic you have been given a bad impression of your platform, so you will need a lot to improve its reputation especially with the multitude of platforms.
You can promote your ads campaign with signatures and more money.
8883  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Understanding The Different Types Of Cryptocurrency Exchanges on: March 18, 2019, 01:01:55 PM
It doesn't matter if the exchange is "reliable" or not.I've seen many horror stories of people that were scammed by big and "reliable" crypto exchange platforms.
The only difference is your lack of understanding of the rules. When you use random platforms, your potential loss of funds is likely, and the possibility of not recovering the money is certain.
Centralize and famous platforms are less likely to be scammed but everything is possible.
Not your Keys, Not your coins.
Do not keep your coins on platforms unless you need to trade.

An eyewitness said: A man began to shoot violently.
Many details are still unknown, but according to counter-terrorism police, they carry many signs of terrorist attack.
So far there is one dead and a large number of wounded with the maximum threat level.

8885  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Need a mastercard which supported crypto currency coin? on: March 18, 2019, 12:08:45 PM
There are many options in this list -----> [1], look for the type of card you want and the specifications.
There is also this site ------>[2]  mentioned in this comment [3].
Also, it is better to search using this forum or ask Google to get more options.
Remember: I did not use any of the above sites, you may be scammed. Do an in-deep search before using any card.

8886  Economy / Reputation / Re: I have purchased a IPTV reseller and they are fake on: March 18, 2019, 11:21:17 AM
This scammer is stupid but he managed to scam you, sorry for your loss but "we learn from the mistakes."
There are a lot of negative signals regarding this account:

 - S/he do not accept Paypal or E-transfer.
 - Searching for email "iptvresellerpanel@gmail.com" in Google shows you a lot of scams.[1]
 - Searching for that number in Google shows many frauds.
 - The reasons cited above.

8887  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fieldbitcoins.com scam on: March 18, 2019, 10:51:48 AM
I kept it active every month claiming once.
Happy to hear this news, it's good that you got your payments and did not decide to give up.
I hope you update the title/subject of the topic as most people do not pay attention to all comments and then warn before wasting time using those faucets.

It seems that your coins have lost a lot of value, just HODLing
8888  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: List of Escrow Service Providers to avoid scam or un-paid campaigns on: March 18, 2019, 10:15:50 AM
In my experience, I thought that it is safer to join campaigns that funds of payments allocated and distributed by Escrow Service Providers.
There is a semi-official list of campaign managers, that list contains more details. You can support that list by nominating people to run campaigns.
That list appears on the Forum Announcements page so it is semi-approved. [1] You can find it here[2].
Also, relying on trusted members does not mean that they are interested in campaign management.

8889  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you know the Risk factor of purchase anything from a locked thread? on: March 18, 2019, 09:11:11 AM
If the thread remained open, these scam warnings could be placed in the thread to make them as obvious as possible. Scammers know this, and so they lock their threads. There are very few legitimate reasons to lock an active sales thread.
In addition, they are newbies. Most of them are people who visit the forum through the first result of Google search. "The first result is always trusted." Because of this, there is a need to trust that account, especially if s/he uses Auto-buy sales URLs and has no knowledge of the currency. "Using PayPal scam cases is less."

Also, in some cases greed is motivated and in this case, all warnings will not work.
8890  Other / Meta / Re: Help with inbox / outbox messaging on: March 18, 2019, 08:34:30 AM
You can try using the search feature with the choice of characters that are always repeated "or agree to certain characters." As follows:

 - Go to  >> MY MESSAGES >> Search Messages
 - Enter a character & account username.
 - Make sure to mark all fields.
Unfortunately, it will show you like [From: xx , To: you.] I do not know if it possible with the inbox.
8891  Other / Meta / Re: Merit Champions from the local boards on: March 18, 2019, 07:43:44 AM
I think you've forgotten another important indicator. Some of the local boards have been created over the last two years, making most members have low ranks "from newbie to member" and taking my local board "Arabic" as an example.

 - 90% of the members are below Full member rank. This statistic is not accurate but the number of members between "Full member to Legendary member" is limited and can be counted by finger. Unlike the merit source "which has less than 100 sMerit," the total number of sMerit is very limited.

 - Most local boards contain Altcoins section, which represents more low-quality posts and some ads get a lot of merits despite the low-quality topic.

In other words, each local board has special considerations and opportunities to Merits that differ from board to board.
8892  Economy / Economics / Are currencies a "store of value"? on: March 18, 2019, 07:02:07 AM
A quick history of currencies and paper money shows that money began as a deposit of a certain value of gold/silver and then turned into a representation of the promises of those who issue it.
Looking at the US dollar, it has lost more than 90% of its value, making all paper currencies a bad example of a "store of value." "I do not want to mention the scenario that happened in the state of Venezuela or Germany after the war."

By 2009, Bitcoin had emerged. Since then, it has gained a lot of value against paper currencies as well as a lack of volatility.

I know that the future of bitcoin is booming, especially with the limited number of currencies and the technology its support, but the question is whether "paper" or "crypto" currencies really serve as a "store of value".
In other words, does bitcoin serve as a substitute for gold, real estate and fixed assets in being a stock of value?
8893  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitmex charts -vs- other exchanges' charts? on: March 18, 2019, 06:29:52 AM
However I would've thought as a result of the high liquidity on Bitmex that it would have less volatile swings? but this particular swing was way bigger than on other exchanges.. and it cost me.
You are unlucky, the probability of loss is mainly contained in cryptocurrencies.
High liquidity is a guarantee to reduce scam, but this does not prevent volatility, especially if there is a BTC/USD pair trading.
Some big whales sell at a certain price and in large quantities, causing a loss of more than $ 100 in spite of high liquidity.

Also, as I mentioned above, the end of 2017 was a cover-up, because of high transactions fees, the difference between a platform and another was horrible.

Bitmex Price = 3954$ but the trading price on the platform that I use is 4010$.

شكرا لك علي مشاركتك هذه النصائح, وايضا علي احترامك للقوانين وعدم النسخ واللصق  Smiley

8895  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: About most likely an scam BTC mining on: March 17, 2019, 01:41:50 PM
I contacted with payback Ltd, which assured me that they deal such case well. Even the payments was made by BTC۔ They made me lose my time and more money but did nothing.
I hope you do not lose hope if payments are in BTC, everything is recorded in an open source blockchain and these people can be tracked and arrested.
I do not know how much money you paid, but writing a detailed report on the entire case of scam and then reporting them in this forum & Reddit may help you with a lot of information.
But even then it would be better for you not to send money to anyone before checking the authenticity of those companies.
8896  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bulls Looking to Make $4000 and Beyond the Bitcoin Norm on: March 17, 2019, 12:35:01 PM
but it is not like they have "full control" over the market! the market has grown enough for them to not be able to do it anymore. and the more they push the market in the opposite direction the harder it is going to get as the rest of the market resists.
Big whales do not have control, but heavy dependence on stablecoins is what makes this price stability.
In the past, you had to withdraw your deposit once the price was higher making the volatility more extreme. Apart from the manipulation on 15 November, the price was very stable.
Now with the armies of the existing bots I think they have a lot of control.
8897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether: dollar reserve holdings may not be there on: March 17, 2019, 11:53:53 AM
Tether is walking along the same lines as the paper money. He began to tie it to gold and quickly printed a lot of money to end up with promises.

Extensive reliance on stable coins is more dangerous than paper money itself. I expect a major collapse of these currencies as soon as legislative laws are enacted.
Believe me, Tether will be like Tulip mania.
Also, the appearance of those company based cryptocurrencies is infused with a lot of mystery in addition to some systems such as Binance Coin.
8898  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook’s Catastrophic Blackout Could Cost $90 Million in Lost Revenue on: March 17, 2019, 11:18:29 AM
I think the reason for this is a new attempt to link their applications to each other. Mark Zachburg's problem is that he wants to control all the new Internet applications, driven by the money he earned from Facebook.

It does not matter how much money is lost as long as people still trust Facebook and use its applications.
I expect Facebook to solve this problem and come out strong but the issue of privacy has become worrisome.
8899  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to succesfully move towards Open Source? on: March 17, 2019, 09:55:35 AM
You may need to go to Silicon Valley or Government. It is difficult to get such open source funding unless you have a team and patent registration.
Either you can deal successfully with such as the reference to the bpip project. Society needed to that project so some members of this forum spent some time "unpaid in evolution."
I am sure if your project deserves development, you will find a lot of developers are developing for free only highlight the idea in real life.
Funding if the project does not succeed initially and has been properly formulated will not get that amount.

I have some friends who developed a 3D printer and got $ 10 million for the project after 4 years of development.

8900  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BETA] Coin Watcher - open-source and privacy-oriented crypto portfolio web app on: March 17, 2019, 08:44:51 AM
The software is good, prices are superbly updated but there are some drawbacks:

 - Edit crypto: When I edit/update a currency, I can only edit it after deleting it or clicking on the "Home" button.
 - Direct button to remove: The cryptos should be removed by clicking on the icon on the same page.
 - select market data: CoinGecko or Coinmarketcap
