AMD miner?
I just watched the video and he mentions it is equihash.
So amd cards will not be as efficient on it than using an Nvidia card.
He mentions it mines in sol and not hashes at the very beginning of the video.
This should give you a nudge of what card is best to mine this new algorithm.
8882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 03, 2019, 10:28:46 PM
Not the beautiful game that I expected but a good one overall. Both teams showed good football with Manchester City fighting more for the victory than Liverpool. Liverpool tried to respond but not good enough tonight, anyway the Premier League just become more interesting after this game. There is not a 7 points difference anymore and anything can happen until the end of the league in May.
4 point difference now.
Liverpool is known for scoring I am just surprised they could only get one.
Good for Manchester city for keeping them at only this one and not more.

Leicester City have managed to beat Manchester City in their recent home game and I think this result must have shocked a lot of football fans, so I believe Leicester City should be able to claim a victory against Cardiff City easily today as the defense of Cardiff City are always pretty bad whenever they are playing away from their home stadium. The odds payout for Leicester City to win the match in full time is not too bad, I guess I will place a small bet on this match and hopefully Leicester City will not disappoint me today.
That is what most people have bet on but after the missed penalty kick and the opportunity for the tap in from the deflection was missed most people gave up on them to win.
Cardiff scored in the first minute of the injury time for them to take their first away win in the league.
Today is full of upsets as Wolverton beat Tottenham at Wembley too.

If Liverpool loses then the end of the year jinx of the top teams will be complete.

There is a promotion going on for matches on saturday to bet and receive a free bet on sunday.
But when you click on the promotions page to see the rules there isn't one on there.
Will they honor those bets placed and what are the restrictions to receive the free bet on sunday?

Leicester city with another upset and Manchester city drops spots on the table.
Manchester united continue their success with another solid win today and thinking the manager choice has got their players confidence into performing with elite status once again.
I don't know if Chelsea will come up with a loss today versus Watford but we have to see about it in about an hours time.

Seriously if anyone thinks Manchester united managed to grab a huge win because Mourinho is not their manager anymore has no idea how football works.

If a team wins because they lack a manager thats not the managers problem thats combination of couple things, first of all when a manager leaves team has to show what they got so when the new one comes they can get a spot in the starting line up so everyone plays much better, when you have a manager and they have a proffered starting line up those people know they got the job so they lay back, that is a big difference.

Secondly when manager leaves the team is working hard to prove that the trouble was the manager and they are actually good so they play extra well in order to defend themselves and put the blame on others. ManU will go back to early season ways soon but it will just take couple of games like this and couple games with new manager, after that its downhill again.
I think it was due to the devils mismanagement.
They did even mentioned before the match started yesterday Pogba and Mourinho relationship was very very bad.
You can see this on his twitter under "Caption this!" picture after he was fined for posting it.
And if you are not getting along with the best player on the roster (well their highest paid player anyways) then you should be replaced not the player since he is the one on the pitch playing with his teammates and does not have necessarily an issue with them.
The manager was the constant problem the team was having. That was the issue with them.
They lost their matches under Mourinho with small margins. They replace him and they score the most goals in a game since being under Alex Ferguson in 2013.
You can't deny that is just a coincidence.
I believe it was the toxic environment that Mourinho was creating for himself that caused his departure even before the season was over and the club didn't care if it was a sacking before the holiday season even started and did it to him out of spite.

It look like there are easy games for the bigs of Premier League today. I am going to bet on a parlay and choose Arsenal , Chelsea and Manchester United and I think this parlay will be hit. Liverpool gave a strong signal yesterday by easily winning to nil on Wolves home field.

Oh I think to add also Machester City to the parlay because I don't think there will be upset from the bigs of Premier League today.
There was two big upsets with Manchester city & Chelsea losing both losing at home.
Who would of believed it?

I know what the odds were on Leicester city were cause I had them on my betslip but had City to win.
But I wonder what the books had Crystal palace at cause Manchester city were at 1.14 when I placed my bet?
Chelsea were at 1.47 and Leicester city were 9.6 which was the highest odds I ever had on a premier league game before for just one game. So Crystal palace to bet the winning streak Manchester city were on must of surpassed it by a lot more.
Can you imagine having 50x odds on just a two game parlay betslip?

Seems like coinbase will be starting a way for people to learn about cryptocurrency and get paid to do it using their app.
I heard about it a few days ago but havent tried it so can not say if it is any good or not.
But it is a more current way to earn then what the post has to say on how to earn it cause mining is way out of date to make any thing from doing it than just paying the electric company from all your profits.

I don't have an account there cause I just seen this competition running.

I don't have any coins right now either Undecided
So what you are saying if I join the site and in chat there is a chance to receive something so I can try out the site to see what it is like compared to the other casinos I have been too?
Or do you need to wager a certain amount of coin to be able to participate in the chat to receive from these prizes?
8893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does Bitcoin seem to always rally in December? on: December 20, 2018, 03:35:31 PM
Most of it depends on how people who are already are into using bitcoin feel about spending on it.
Being the end of the year most people have a look at their financial situation and assess what they can do with the money they have left for the rest of their fiscal end of the final quarter if that is where they end it which is most likely the case.
Once the big expenses are done with and all the Christmas buying frenzy is over then if they have anything of considerable value left over they would more than likely spend it on cryptocurrency as they view what they have to spend on it as residual income. And can be spent on what they like which is more then likely bitcoin.

Usually their competition only last for a week so the doge competition already ended few weeks ago Smiley

Thanks yolodice for giving us another good competition to compete with. Hopefully I won't lose so much coin on this one like the last one LOL

Indeed, this one lasts one week too.

I am thinking about something like "perma-competition" where we spend a fraction of profit on weekly prizes. This could be like a regular competition, but last a week only, Sun-Sun, and would be fully automated. What do you think?

Cheers,
Ethan

I think it is a good thing to have an ongoing competition on a weekly basis.
I noticed it being featured on another dice site I tried out for a couple of days and liked the wagering competition they had running every couple of days then reset once it ended.
8896  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL'ers lose. That is no surprise on: December 14, 2018, 07:37:17 PM
I was watching one of the crypto youtubers and they had a picture of a hodl and a sodl.
The sodl had a nice car while the hodl had a cheap one.

Never heard of the term sodl before seeing that picture.
So it is all relative to the time when you did sell or buy your crypto.

I had a problem loading the site but read on another thread posted to do a ctrl+f5 on the browser it began to work.
Thanks to the member who suggested doing this on the thread last night.
It resolved any issues with the site which customer support after emailing them back and forth should of told me to try.
8898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is still Bitcoin, but we are greedy. on: December 13, 2018, 05:24:50 PM
It could be Satoshi put this into the equation with the creation of bitcoin:
The greed of people will not deter it but will just force those out who try and curve it to their own will and intentions such as the big banks and the corporate entities who wish to control it and make more wealth from it for their own use.

Hey rdbase,

Thank you for your message! I have checked with our customer support and we have received a query or two about the speed of our site. Therefore we have raised it with our tech guys and hope to get it sorted ASAP!!

Thanks!

Best,

Mark
Sportsbet.io team

This issue is not regarding the speed of the site but to access the site at all.

It does not come up at all. Just keeps spinning for the past hour over and over again.
Did the normal request of what support suggests to do when this happens such as clearing cache/cookies and browser history.
But to no avail.

Started happening when I clicked on the link you provided for the champions league promotion in the post quoted today.
