8901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you guys think about Casino and dice games? on: May 16, 2017, 04:33:24 PM
Hey.
I was just wondering to myself, do you guys believe that online casinos are totally legit, or do you also believe that some of them are rigging outcomes.
One of the reason I prefer to bet on sports and not on dice games or at online casinos is that I can't actually know if the casino is paying me as they should, or they tell me that I lost while I was supposed to be a winner.

Does the small house edge(compared to sports betting) worth the chance of the casino rigging the outcomes, making you lose sometimes while you were supposed to be the winner?

You are not alone to share these concerns and there are many fake casinos out there who look good and then they just disappear. Their seeds are rigged and by the time one realizesI itss always to late. You should always check the scam accusations board for more information. Then you will find many honest and long term casinos on this forum, one of them my signature to, I always believe if a casino is good it should be here or on a reputable forum, so you can find from other users, who have tried and tested this. This thread will serve as a good guide line for many newbies.
8902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 16, 2017, 03:32:19 PM
placed my bet on under 3.5 goals in Man City vs West Brom X2.06
Man City isn't scoring a lot of goals these days so I think this is the best bet for this match , cause as people here suggested it's not worthy to pick a side even with AH , good luck all

I think you should reconsider considering Jesus is back and agero also plays I expect city to score a nothing less than four goals to show for the season. And same for arsenal, Sunderland just can't score and I don't expect them to trouble arsenal at all. Sanchez and Ozil should be on the score sheet, along with grioid. The race for top four is just hotting up, who could have believed that Man City and Arsenal could be fighting just to secure a top four spot, this really sets the tone for next season
8903  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin *A Game Changer* on: May 16, 2017, 03:23:20 PM
Do you think bitcoin is a Game Changer? If yes then enlist your reasons?

For me:

1.Bitcoin changes financial condition of many people who don't have any source of income before joining bitcoin.
2. It give platform to investor to get high profit by investing money.
3. Many people start their business offline by earning from bitcoin.

Definitely Bitcoin is a game changer, it has completely revelotinized the life of the people who use it and brings tremendous benefits with them. For me I have got lot fitter thanks to it, cause was able to my self a fitbit charge 2. Then I have read somewhere a person brought a house, not sure how it was though. Secondly thanks to it we have this forum where people discuss about gambling and how to Win or be safe from it, plus the price rise is a bonus. In all ways Bitcoin is the best thing that could have happened to humanity.
8904  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hoarding or Spending, Which Is More Important in the Cryptocurrecy Ecosystem? on: May 16, 2017, 09:32:34 AM
We all know the Bitcoin world consists of two broad camps: those who hoard and those who spend it. Depending on whom the question is thrown to, hoarders are either a problem or the solution.
Someone recently posted a tweet about how “hoarders are more important than spenders.” A very interesting comment that caused a bit of a huge outrage among Bitcoiners on Reddit.
From your own point of view, who is more important?

Hoarders and Spenders are two sides of a coin, Bitcoins needs both of them. Now imagine if people only spend and spend the supply will exceed the demand and prices will crash, however if at a relevant time there a decent holding done it keeps the supply In check or let's say increases more demand and that gives a boost to the prices. In the earlier years you could say people will only hoard, and that was true cause you could not buy much with Bitcoins but now days you can virtually buy almost anything. In simpler words Bitcoin is like a car and Hoarders and sellers are it's two tires, now if any one of the tire bursts you can imagine what can happen. The new trend is delightful as people are selling also so the fears of Hoarders are coming down. This year we will see a mixed trend to early to say where the momentum will shift.
8905  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is gonna die soon! on: May 16, 2017, 03:59:58 AM
Bitcoin is gonna die soon because of too high fees and too slow transactions. It is becoming a very bad quality payment system, with no relevant pros in using it.

Now I see 4 different scenarios that could happen in the next months:

  • Bitcoin developers will solve these scaling problems and Bitcoin returns to be the cheap and fast payment system it was some years ago.
  • Bitcoin users will move all their BTCs to the so-called "altcoins". Most of these altcoins are already far better than BTC, regarding technical specs, confirmation time, privacy, etc. Dash, Monero, DOGE, LTC, etc. all of them are better than Bitcoin.
  • Bitcoin transaction will become less and less because its users will just hold their coins. Thus BTC would become a sort of digital asset, with no actual use as a payment system. (Note that Satoshi thought of Bitcoin mainly as an innovative payment system)
  • People will get tired of cryptocoins and move back to the ol' banking system.

Which one do you prefer and which one do you predict?

The first one that bitcoin developers will figure out and sort it out for us, and that's what I have always believed from the start. Yes there are problems, frustrations all around but trust me solutions will come, we all need to focus on solutions and be far more positive. Negativity won't help us, we have come to far to let it all go. I would request you to add another scenario we all get together and support it, irrespective of the problems and help it through a tough time.
8906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: May 16, 2017, 03:52:30 AM
Tomorrow first semifinal match b/w Mumbai vs. Pune, a most expected game I think Dhoni will do magic here and make Pune reach finals in this match. Mumbai is a strong team, and they are number one in the table, but still, Pune has a lot of chance to win this match. And one more advantage is the losers will get one more chance to reach finals.
If Dhoni could perform it is well and good as i have not seen him going fluent in the entire tournament except once where he produced a magnificent innings and took the team home apart from that performance he did not having any good memories to share and if he could perform in the semifinals then it is well and good and Mumbai is the number one team because of their consistent performance and i feel they will reach the finals.

I feel tonight game shall be Mumbai Indians, as Pune do not have Stokes to fire them up. Secondly their entire team has played inconsistently, Mr Dhoni to fire them up will take a miracle he has barely played, but he's a Legend and this is his stage but just don't feel he will come good. While look at Mumbai Indians they have full power packed teams, each one a winner and on top of that it's their home ground, so my call Mumbai Indians in the final.
8907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As much as I like BTC... on: May 15, 2017, 04:19:48 PM
Well the confirmation time is a big pain there is no doubt but to compare it with a alt like dogde and how many of us even use dodge for it to be slow. Currently the only option is to raise the fees there is no other option, till some other solutions is found. I doubt people will stop using it ever, yes we all will complain about it but stop no. As far for more people to use it, I feel many of us me including prefer to stick to it cause of the monetary benefits and it's decentralised nature. Currently there a lot debate going on for this, but so far no solution let's hope we do find a solution in the near future.
8908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank in Norway now supports Bitcoin on: May 15, 2017, 12:53:33 PM
A bank called Skandiabanken in Norway now supports Bitcoin. However you cannot purchase the Bitcoins through the bank, you'll be redirected to Coinbase in order to buy.

I don't have this bank myself, so I cannot test this. It seems like it's just linked to Coinbase and the bank does not store the coins on their servers.

This feature is in a beta phase, and the laws in Norway could cause conflicts. I think this is a huge step, and I hope this will soon be supported in more banks. This feature is mainly for investors, you cannot use it to pay bills and such.

Here's a link to the article translated to English:  https://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?depth=1&nv=1&rurl=translate.google.no&sp=nmt4&tl=en&u=http://e24.no/privat/bitcoin/naa-faar-du-bitcoin-i-nettbanken-kan-ikke-fornekte-ny-teknologi/23996559&usg=ALkJrhjVd47hlRvCuPcMw4r7-8SKmywfYw

That's a bold statement from the Norway bank, and this will lead support for more banks to adopt this kind of technology. But this bank has no branches and does transactions online does that raise any issue, or the fact coinbase.com will holds coins is valid. Though this is a welcome move, another thing that is worth thinking if the tax authorities of Norway demand details will the bank be forced to give? As we know Coinbase.com does not give details this is one issue which needs to be considered. Right now it's in beta phase, and it will be interesting to see how other banks react to this and will other banks follow suit.
8909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin’s surge fuels fears of asset bubble on: May 15, 2017, 12:40:33 PM
Well I am not particularly worried about the SEC, the only thing the SEC can do is stop U.S citizens from entering these markets. Most other countries are happy to allow this unregulated frenzy to go on. I am more worried about a third world war then the SEC right at this minute, with that Lunatic Kim Jong Un and others trying to create havoc lol.

Yes, you are right about that!
What if Kim fire's it up? What if Kim Nukes US? or any other Country?
I think Bitcoin price will go up as reaction to it.

SEC does not controls Bitcoins or let's point out to the fact last time SEC turned down the Bitcoin ETF there was a slight correction in the price but post that is history. The problem with Bitcoins is the centralized world is running scared, the demands for its adoption are growing and this kind of paid articles are proof of it. As far Kim and USA are concerned I had this doubt before, but now I am convinced nothing is going to happen. They are like those kids, who say touch me and I will beat you, and as soon you touch them they sit quietly. Trump needs a diversion from his affairs and it's a political stunt, so nothing will happen on this front. Th the prices are high, but do a bubble burst looks unlikely.
8910  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE - 🎲🎲🎲 THIS WEEK 105BTC GOES TO ASH AND 75BTC TO SOOP! 🎰🎰🎰 on: May 15, 2017, 12:33:16 PM
Site is a scummy operation, my account magically doesn't work anymore and their "within 24 hours" support doesn't respond. Total scumbags, glad I only lost a little over .1 btc to these twats although I'd rather burn 5x that  amount to prevent these morons from getting any.

This is one reason I prefer on chain games, where deposit to site wallet is not required. But, BitDice was somewhat trusted. So, hopefully, your problem will soon be sorted.

How can it be sorted if he doesn't report it to the devs and if he posted some support tickets then it maybe seen and fix by the bitdice management but as I see right here that he's just trollin outhere maybe he should post some proofs that his account got encounter some trouble. But let see if this comment is true since dogedice responds already and see if this matter is true.

But ofc he is just trolling,it's more than obvious!
Bitdice is a respectful dice site for a long time now and it doesn't need to prove anything to a troll, that throughs accussations out of thin air.

Besides, we all know that any good gambling site, have haters and trolls to "support" it and to say their FUDs! Cheesy

This has become a common post and by common I mean, a person will go to a betting site, then he will place an x amount of money, if he wins the site is great, but the moment he looses, the site cheated me the common tape begins. It's quite evident he lost a good sum of money and since he can't recover the money why not try to malign the site's name, which he again tried and all users have asked him for proof but he's choosen to run the comman tape and at the end say goodbye. I don't think his words can challenge the credibility of Bitdice cause they have earned trust over a long time.
8911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Major burglary on: May 15, 2017, 04:09:47 AM
First of all good work Op for bringing this post out here, this is not the first time, sadly it won't be the last time. These are basis instructions that one should follow on a regular intervals, when I had joined new to online world and that is around year 2008, I had a decent amount in PayPal, and my bad luck I downloaded some software from the fraud paypal mail, and rest is history my PayPal account went blank lol. Ever since that day, I have been ultra careful not to download any softwares, always update my Antivirus software systems. It's a lesson for all of us to, be careful not loose your coins. Hacking for Bitcoins and other alts is just going to grow, we need to be far more vigilant then before.
8912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you care? on: May 14, 2017, 05:33:59 AM
I have a curiosity...

In a month on this website all that i saw are gambling discussion, idiot scam accusations and so on...

This topic is about how fair are the casinos...Why do you care? If the fair system is ok or so on...you will lose money legally same shit..

If a casino is fair with what is helping you? When you go to a casino and play on slots you will ask the girls if the bet you did is fair?

So you mean to say that when a person is playing with his money he should not even verify the facts that it's a safe site, or its heavily rigged? You seem to be new to gambling and that's is obvious when you don't care/understand the need to have a probably fair method on the site. It's important so that we are not fleeced out of our Bitcoins.

people go to a real casino to have fun for just being there, and if they want money they will play some real games like Poker not slots. and also they have no way of knowing if a game in a casino is legit or not.

but when it comes to an online gambling site, there are very easy ways of verifying the bets and making sure you are not being ripped off so why shouldn't we take the chance and demand a provably fair system that is legit?

and trust me, there are a lot of real scammers out there trying to rob you of your bitcoin. and we care because we don't want to just hand them our money easily.

no, it is the same thing. if you know or not that is fair...for real. i played on websites like primedice, kingdice and paradice. I won on all of them but not because I used any strategy. I registered, deposited 0.xxx and double -> withdraw...

I saw users playing with strategies and shits continously.

Why do you care?

I am roulete player so I know when I am going to a casino what I am doing when I leave, there are 80% of losing.

You are absolutely wrong in trying to gamble the way you are gambling. The sites you went are reputable and they do have a fair methods, but you try a luck at a casino which is not fair, and you will cry out here despite every one telling you that fair method is a must.

Again just cause you made few earnings doesn't mean anything, luck can change, and before you challenge this strategies, it is these strategies that have made people rich and poor also lol. You really need to learn the basis of gambling, be careful out there!

8914  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Massive cyberattack spreads around the globe- demanding bitcoin worth of 300USD on: May 13, 2017, 03:32:20 PM
A massive cyberattack leaked by malware developed by the US National Security Agency swept across the globe Friday after computer networks were locked by a program that demands $300 in Bitcoin

This may done by any hacker around the forum. Will this be affect the rate of adoption over bitcoin and it's price. Please refer below new york post news.

http://nypost.com/2017/05/12/massive-hack-on-uk-hospitals-may-affect-other-countries/

Very sad indeed, these fools are definitely not part of this forum. This just shows that the current hackers have grown smarter and are using modern day technology to escape the law. They very well know, they can't be traced using Bitcoins and as soon they get they will convert it to Fiat. These fools are earning a bad name for Bitcoin, there are so many nice news coming and this kind of activities is a jolt for the community, cause if more people do this Bitcoin very existence will be doubtful.

8915  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Phenomenal rise of Bitcoin price! on: May 12, 2017, 01:42:48 PM
As we are already witnessing price rise. I think it will reach 6000$ milestone this year end. Do you agree? What do you think? What are the reasons behind this price rise?

The moon is looking so big from my Windows a just need to get to a height and I can catch it, I hope you get the sarcasm. 6000$ on what grounds that's almost 3x rise you are predicting for the Bitcoins. Do you even know Bitcoins? I feel you should do more research short term 2000$ is evident year end 3000$+ could be a reality if all news are positive and no bad news come. If someone is misleading you, be careful not to fall for such traps. It's a good time to buy and make your bank account richer in near future but not the amount you think.
8916  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Help! Selling Bitcoins on LocalBitcoins.com resulted in my bank account locked on: May 12, 2017, 01:37:16 PM
I'm a Brazilian Portuguese speaker, please, sorry for my bad English. Please, I received a letter from my Bank (The Bank of Brasil - "Banco do Brasil"). In this letter, it says that my bank account was blocked because the buyer don't recognize the transaction. I sold my Bitcoins to "sourbtcoin" user from localbitcoins.com. #10502036 is the transaction ID on April, 19th. After receiving the coins, this user wanted to apply a bank fraud. After received the coins, he went to the bank saying he did not recognize the transfer. Has anyone ever experienced this? How can I prove that it was a question of selling Bitcoins to my Bank? I ask for help because my bank account has already been blocked for almost a month because this user, "soutbtcoin" is wanting to apply me a blow. Please help me, my bank account is locked will make a month and did nothing wrong, I just sold my Bitcoins that were in the my wallet of localbitcoins.com. The letter from my bank is attached.

This is sad to hear, but you should not have traded on local Bitcoin, there are many reliable seller's out here and with escrow service you could have been on the safe side. Honestly if you have a huge amount I would advise you to hire a attorney to help you out with this. However prior that, you could try and approach the higher authorities of the bank and show them your proof and try and convince them. Alternatively you could also file a complaint with your local police authorities, though the sections will be hard but that's the only chance you have. Hopefully you shall be able to recover and avoid local Bitcoin in future.
8917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BIT.AC :: MULTICURRENCY WALLET :: BUILT-IN INSTANT EXCHANGE :: Affiliate Program on: May 12, 2017, 09:00:11 AM
anyone try this ? is it safe ? also how the network ? is it stable ?

Of course it's safe and relatively easier to use, if you are yet confused coinbase.com is a exchange and not a wallet which is risky, while bit. Ac is a wallet which means far more security and features. And it's solve one big headache many of us were having of searching for a different wallet to store different currency, this allows us to store all the different coins into one and that's simply one of its best feature. Plus they are here, so you can drop them a message in case of any more clarification.
8918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: May 10, 2017, 03:36:41 PM
Real Madrid is guaranteed a tour, a game that will come out formally. If Atletico is a very good defensive team, only 1-2 players remain effective on offense. Griezman and his colleagues think that they will make a comeback from their hands in this match. Real Madrid will try to balance the game by playing a little more controlled. I think 1-1 or 1-2 will result in a Real Madrid win, I hope Juventus Cup win in the Final.

Though the match fate was all but sealed when Real Madrid won 3-0 but then again you can't forget Barca did make a comeback but then it's was Psg and this is Real Madrid. What ever the score line, I do feel we shall have interesting moments. However who ever wins all they will be doing a formality Juventus is unbeatable simply unbeatable. The way they are playing is phenomenal and there seems to no stopping them.
8919  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japanese Internet Giant GMO is Launching a New Bitcoin Exchange on: May 10, 2017, 03:30:55 PM
Japanese internet conglomerate GMO Internet Co., Ltd is launching a bitcoin trading platform on May 24th. The internet giant is one of many Japanese companies looking to capitalize on booming demand for digital currencies in the world’s biggest bitcoin trading market.

Because, Bitcoin is BOOMING! BTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTC

Looks like Japanese people have decided that they want to leave a mark on the Bitcoin legacy, yesterday I read about it being introduced in the Olympics and today this, if this two news are true and it does happen people buckle up we are going to Mars, since we are already on the moon. What is surprising is that only Japanese people are taking it ahead, why doesn't China or India think about it. Just a quick thought what if Google decided to follow suit and set up as a payment for its play store. Every day I guess we need to thank the Japanese people, they are helping Bitcoins boom it up.
8920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John Carmack is Satoshi Nakamoto on: May 10, 2017, 09:41:53 AM
Again a satoshi thread? Op why can't you browse around and see there are tons of threads and each one claim that they have found the identity of satoshi. And so far same result, satoshi's identify is and will always be a mystery. As far your video nothing great evidence to suggest your claim, just another wild theory but this time at least you logic is right. Just cause someone is genious and all doesn't make him satoshi. Satoshi decided to sacrifice his identity for Bitcoins sake, so Bitcoin users could never know him or the authorities could never know the users identity. Get a life and respect his wishes.
