8921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anthony Pompliano Calls on Exchanges to #DelistBSV on May 1 on: April 13, 2019, 08:03:10 PM
Craig Wright is a fame hungry maniac who is willing to do anything for gaining popularity through his statements. There is no point in trying to delist BSV since it is not a popular coin in the first place which is why it shouldn't be given this much attention in the first place.

Honestly, majority of the crypto community have never heard of this coin before.

This match is going to be a tight one. Kohli just got out and its basically 50-50 at this point. I hope AB sticks till the end and the remaining RCB batsmen need to support him out in the middle. If RCB lose this one, I think they might set a new record of 7 losses in a row in the IPL.
If KXIP can take AB de Villiers then the match will be in KXIP's control. Few minutes ago I was telling my brother in law that RCB always play good at the start and then at the end they lose control. This team is very much dependent in Kohli and AB de Villiers.

Anyway, last two balls two fours. Seems like they have a chance but I am not still sure about RCB. Any moment they can lose AB de Villiers and then game is off for them.

Let's see what we have today. It's getting exciting.
They did it finally. Won 2 bets today. Heck yeah! RCB is heavily dependent on Kohli and De Villiers(Batting) and Chahal(Bowling) which is why they have losing consistently. This is a problem they need to fix to improve their performance in this season and future seasons.

Even the current West Indian team has got a number of good players. If they put 100% in to their game, then they will be able to beat anyone. But first they need to put aside the personal differences and bond together as a team.
It's not football that in a camp few weeks of practice makes good understanding between players. Cricket is different. For sure West Indies have good player but I doubt they are fit for ODI matches. They are doing well in T20 but T20 and ODI are two different format.

Besides finding a good combination in betting and bowling is crucial. It requires lots of matches to play and experiments in both net and real matches.
Completely true. There is a reason why the current West Indian team has been failing consistently in ODI and test match formats from a long period of time. T20 is a different ball game altogether.

This is why I feel that the current West Indian team have no chance of lifting the World Cup this year.

Lol. This is weird. Also, it looks like I won my bet by betting on Rajasthan and they pulled through after an amazing over by Bumrah towards the end. I hope I win my bet on RCB in the upcoming match too.
If the 2nd innings wins then sure you are going to win this RCB one too :-)

My bad luck that I can not bet since I am having trouble sending BTC to my gambling account LOL. I am still considering to bet for KXIP. The rate is good for them which is tempting me LOL

Some so called expert says something about Warren Buffet and you believe him blindly as he is some kind of angel showering you with money and gifts. Wow.

Some people will believe anything. Stop believing everything you read on the Internet people. Do your own research instead of depending on others words.
8926  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will you teach bitcoin if someone does want to know coming from you? on: April 13, 2019, 05:07:12 PM
There is no need to get all technical about it. Bitcoin is basically a currency  like FIAT, gold etc, but it is a completely digital currency which is decentralized (No government interference) in nature.

You basically buy and sell stuff with BTC just like any other form of money(FIAT, paypal, gold etc). This is a simple way to explain what it means.
8927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the SEC creating secret law for crypto? on: April 13, 2019, 05:01:41 PM
Who doesn't have secrets in this world? Don't you have any secrets of your own op? There is nothing surprising that SEC have hidden agendas. Which government organization in this world doesn't?

At least, they state their opinion clearly and don't delay(approval or rejection) too much like other government organizations.
8928  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin (BTC) Hits 400 Million Transactions on: April 13, 2019, 03:44:06 PM
Nothing surprising here. Bitcoin has been recording new milestones left and right thanks to the ever growing cryptocurrency community and the steady adoption growth rate. I want to see the expressions on the faces of the haters who proclaimed that 'Bitcoin is dead'.

Majority of the TX records are from the 2017 crazy rally though.
8929  Economy / Economics / Re: Brexit what effects will this have on cryptocurrency? on: April 13, 2019, 03:40:37 PM
No matter what type of thing UK decides to do about brexit none of it really applies to bitcoin at all.

It is totally irrelevant and useless. Hell if they do brexit and its harder for business to business deals than they might even start using bitcoin to make it easier for them so it could even potentially have good results. In the end I feel like of course it will have a very very short term affect, maybe at most 3 days to a week and that's it, but after that whole world will continue like it never happened.

I understand UK really cares about this issue and brexit has been a topic for them for a while now but honestly know that if a person doesn't live in UK or in EU that person really doesn't care. I am from neither UK nor EU and I do not care about brexit AT ALL, hence most of the world will just continue to exist without caring about what UK does or doesn't.
I concur. The people in my community don't even know what Brexit is and I don't blame them for not knowing since this is a local event(UK related) which won't affect the entire world obviously.

Honestly, I am surprised to hear that it hasn't happened yet since I have been hearing about it for several years now. What in the world is going on in the UK?

Duckworth Lewis method was invented after carefully analyzing the outcomes of thousands of matches. So I wouldn't say that the method was wrong. And I don't understand why you think that the UAE was ahead. Two set batsmen were playing when bad light stopped play (PJ Moor at 45, and Chakabva at 78), and at that point they needed 25 runs to win from 3 overs (with 6 wickets in hand).
Man! I also don't understand how does this D/L method works. I feel like they do a lot of unrealistic calculation. I can not give you specific examples but in lot of occasions I have seen the unfairness. It just do not add up with the real situation.

My thinking is that why do we need a method to find a winner. Just leave it and declare abundant or an unfinished match. If you do not know what will be the outcome of the next ball (out or dot, single, double, two, three, four or six or possibly anything) then how do you calculate based on mathematics.
The managements would face a ton of problems if the games were left abandoned or cancelled like money issues, fans getting disappointed etc which is why they rarely ever cancel matches unless absolutely necessary.

D/L method is no way perfect as you mentioned, but it does the job majority of the time which it is a useful system overall.
8931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: April 13, 2019, 02:16:45 PM

Hmmm.. that is very interesting. Actually West Indies has lost against the minnows in the world cup on more than one occasion (obviously the 1996 loss against Kenya is the most famous incident). And at the same time, Afghanistan has built their reputation as the giant-killers in world cricket. There are 10 teams and in the group stage all the teams play against the other once. So WI will be playing against BAN and AFG.
Well the West Indian team before and now has a huge difference. Before the lose of West Indian team considered as upset but if they lose now then I do not think anyone will consider it as upset. It will considered as a regular win.

West Indies management really needs to focus on their cricket reputation and use their previous glory to come back in the International race.
I do remember the yesteryear West Indian teams which consisted of legends like Lara, Courtney Walsh, Curtley Ambrose etc who used to dominate their opponents in every way possible.

The current West Indian team is simply a shadow of those amazing lineups.

You are still winning most of them based on what I have seen. Ronnie(Cloudbet) has done a great job among us predicting accurately majority of the time.

I bet on RCB once again(Hope they don't mess up again) and Rajasthan in the MI vs RR match.

It's amazing to see how Ronnie comes up with some great pick. I am sure he does some extensive research. My pick was for this match was MI and seems like they are going to lose it LOL I am glad I did not bet in this match.

Next match I think RCB is going to lose but here again I would not surprise if they win because from last few days I am always finding myself in the losing side.

By the way, I noticed something unusual. Whoever bet last they wins LOL
Lol. This is weird. Also, it looks like I won my bet by betting on Rajasthan and they pulled through after an amazing over by Bumrah towards the end. I hope I win my bet on RCB in the upcoming match too.
8933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The kryptoradio on: April 13, 2019, 02:11:04 PM
Lol. This is something that will never happen. Newbies are finding the current cryptocurrency trading system complicated which is why your idea takes it a step further and over-complicate things here.

The idea is funny though, but don't expect it to become a reality anytime in the future.
8934  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto to Crypto or Crypto to Stablecoin? Which trading pair is profit efficient on: April 13, 2019, 01:50:28 PM
That is oversimplifying everything. It is not a black and white picture since there are a lot of gray areas in between in this scenario. It is possible to earn profit or succumb to losses while trading with both pairs which is why I cannot definitely say that one is better than the other here.

It all comes down to the manner in which you execute your trades at the end of the day.

Thanks. KKR really need to improve their bowling lineup currently while Delhi has been working on solving their choking weakness(Collapsing at the end like dominoes) which could turn things around for them.
I had this collapsing in mind LOL
I have seen them before to lose the winning matches. They really batted responsibly yesterday. The win was deserved.
Today we have two matches

Kings XI Punjab vs Royal Challengers Bangalore
and

Mumbai Indians vs Rajasthan Royals

My picks are Kings XI Punjab and Mumbai Indians not sure if any of them will win. I am losing my bets now a days LOL

8936  Economy / Economics / Re: We need the large Over the Counter (OTC) buy orders on exchanges! on: April 13, 2019, 10:02:50 AM
I don't think that the buyers would be alright with such a risky move since they primarily care about the security of their funds just like anyone else at the end of the day and we are talking about insanely huge amounts here.

If they do agree to do this, they would need to find a lot of sellers who are ready to sell their coins at the target that they set which would not be easy.
8937  Economy / Economics / Re: A Crypto Blessing: China’s Plan to Ban Bitcoin Mining Will Work Wonders on: April 13, 2019, 09:57:37 AM
The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) revealed its intent to eliminate the bitcoin and crypto mining sector immediately in its guidance for adjustments to industrial structure published on April 1.

Are China’s Ambitions To Combat Pollution Hurting Its Economy?

The Chinese will need to make very tough choices in the future ... or they will be more developed more with super polluted air or should moderate in the polluting industries. I think the reason they are going to ban the miners is because of the pollution that has already hit alarming levels in China. In any case, China has a very dangerous regime and having most of the miners located in China becomes very dangerous
Everyone are aware of the pollution problems faced by China which is the most populated country in the world. I don't think that pollution is the reason behind this ban since they never did like cryptocurrencies in the first place.

However, this will help the country decrease the pollution levels in a big way though. The question is which country will Bitmain and the others choose if the ban becomes effective.
8938  Economy / Economics / Re: Customer Owned Exchange on: April 13, 2019, 09:52:41 AM
It would be a big advantage if there would be a customer-owned exchange but how are we going to assure the security of it if everyone would use it and no one would manage its safety? I would still go for a decentralized exchange because I find that idea too risky for traders.
What are you talking about? It is possible to build a secure exchange in this case through the proper protocols. You do realize that decentralized exchanges are not always secure, don't you?

The model which op suggested though is not feasible in the long run in my opinion.
8939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Heard of Crypto Games Conference in Belarus? on: April 13, 2019, 09:48:13 AM
It seems like crypto casinos and games are getting pretty popular since this is already the third meeting of this kind. We are only moving forward and I hope in the future all this big online casinos will be able to create a real casino where people can actually go and play at slot machines and different games at table live.
Lol. The regular casinos which accept FIAT etc themselves have a hard time getting legalized in their respective countries due to the stringent laws on gambling in most countries which is why expecting a true crypto based physical casino is complete stupidity.

I am happy with the online casinos themselves at present.
8940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC fans: T.J. Dillashaw suspended for 2 years for a banned substance on: April 13, 2019, 09:45:46 AM
It seems like T.J. Dillashaw career in UFC is over, after this two years suspended for using a banned substance, he is 33 years old now, so he would be 35 years in 2 years.

I don't think age matter here since DC is still a champion at the age of 40. Anyways, T.J is such a great athlete for me and its such a waste to see these kinds of athlete gets banned. I hope that after the ban he would be back to UFC again to regain his former glory.
What the heck do you mean? He had it coming since he was literally cheating at the end of the day and his popularity will go down the drain now just like so many athletes in the past.

I don't think he has any hope of winning back the title in the future.
