8921  Economy / Exchanges / Re: coins.ph as Bitcoin wallet on: August 09, 2017, 04:46:07 AM
Coins.ph is actually a nice wallet and I think most people that use it are Filipinos. It actually has a nice feauture where in you can reload your mobile phone in certain amounts and you get 5% back for each transaction. It is good for storing small amounts of bitcoin or satoshi but I wouldn't recommend storing large amounts since you got no control on the keys and you're gonna have a problem converting your bitcoin to other currencies aside from Philippine Peso.
I agree but you can't rely on it too much and use your every transaction on it since you do not hold the private keys to your wallet, you can never be too safe on the facts that they could get your bitcoins and run away with it, but I think it's still safe. If you are going to save, then try a different wallet that you could hold the private keys and the mnemonics if you have. Try a cold storage device.

8923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: August 09, 2017, 01:05:03 AM
Maybe if i get a win. I will use for trading. Because I also think of something other than gambling. Not every day we can benefit from gambling
Yes, not every day we can benefit from gambling, so we should be happy with it, do not be greedy, greed can kill us and we should use the money we earn to invest in a more useful purpose for the future, may be trading, may be invested in ico or save, depending on us as long as we do not continue to use that money to gamble. Continuing to gambling will only make the money we win disappear quickly
It's always going to be a loss if you are going to gamble in the long run, it's just like you said you can never benefit all the time in gambling. I have been trading for a while now but as I can see, I'm still not making a big profit from it, just from the price of bitcoin.
8924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we still gambling while we always lose? on: August 09, 2017, 12:45:52 AM
I can't answer that question, because i also don't know why i keep coming back into gambling even i already lose so much money and bitcoins on it. Maybe because it's really entertaining and feels good when i make a bet and also i want to win back all my loses on gambling which is hard to do.

It is because the money that you have lose in gambling, that is why you keep on coming since you want to win it all back. The thoughts that you have the first time you have tried gambling is the opposite, that is why we can't accept the fact that we have lost in gambling, so that is the reason why we are keep on coming back on it no matter how much money you have already lost on it.
Every gambler should think for theirselves in their own reasons while they still playing on gambling  , Greedy earning profit , chasing to earn back what they lose , or to have fun? I think thats all the possible reasons .
It should not be just in gambling, but also in life. Knowing that you are currently living and without a purpose. I suggest that everyone pause and think about what you want because when you answer that, you will know what to do. Earning for the future, possible when you have a family already, that's just something to think about and hoping that motivation could lead you to stop gambling and not be greedy.
8925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: August 09, 2017, 12:41:15 AM
Yeah i do limit myself whenever i gamble now because i learned from my past experience, before i just gamble if i lose i'll just depo again and if i win i just play until i get exhausted or lose everything i have by doing that i wasn't able to win a lot but when i start having a limit whenever i gamble i always withdraw and everytime i lose i don't lose much just few of my coins.
So how could the limitation really work for you? Is there
 something special to do?
As far as i know that no matter how you set the limit, when the greedy comes to you it is an end of story.
I mean you will easily break it up rather than keep sticking on it , as the greedy feeling imho the biggest challenge you should faced.
That's why you have to control it and never stop limiting yourself always because you will never know how much you can lose in a few minutes, because you know in gambling it could just be an instant to lose a lot of money. You have to control yourself and that's not easy in my opinion.
8926  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Negative effects of technology on: August 09, 2017, 12:16:33 AM
Stress

This is one of the negative effects of the modern technology. Technology is there since this Earth was created, so the modern technology today with gadgets, laptops, computer, smartphones will give us stress if we will allow those things to bring us and abuse ourselves.
It depends on the type of technology you are talking about, if you are trying to make the world a better place for your inventions, then that's a great thing, but if not, it's just making the resources go to waste. In my opinion, the stress that you are getting in technology is probably the part where there are social media. The judgment that you are about to get if you post something you believe in and the majority doesn't agree with it, and then you are going to get bashed. It's not okay for that part.
8927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: August 08, 2017, 02:10:13 PM
Unless you are talking about poker or a similar game then it is impossible to make money long term in gambling, that is a reality we must accept, those that are looking to make money in gambling will lose more money than they can afford, this is why the common recommendation in the forum is to gamble with moderation.

Poker game is not really easy as well to make money in the long term. Some player are good to play in a poker site but not everyone can make money from a poker site. It is hard and as hard as usual luck based game. I dont think it is profitable even for poker player because many poker player lose than win

I think poker needs practice and it is not like dice or slots where your skills dont matter at all. Poker is an EV+ game after all and thus the players skills are important in order to out-play that opponent. Then in dice you dont need any skills other than being able to roll the dice. If you are thinking of playing poker then make sure to practice it online or offline before you actually play it anywhere in a casino.

A poker game is really the best example of gambling that involves a great deal of skills in order to win most of the time than losing. The rest of the games that doesn't involved any skills are games based on pure luck and is very risky because you can't have much of a control over it versus poker.
I agree with you because I have experienced gambling with my friends and I have to say that you need a lot of experience to really win their money and that's awesome. I think there are other games that require skills in order to increase the chance of winning like blackjack (if you can count cards but that's illegal) something like that.
8928  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin hit 3500$ in 2018?  ??? on: August 08, 2017, 09:52:02 AM
Many people underestimate bitcoin, only $3500 and it need another year? Bitcoin will reach $4000 and even over $5000 in this year due to segwit will be activated and solve the major scale problems. The all time high is $3400, and I guess it will reach $3500 today. There are several reasons why bitcoin could reach those prices, and the most reasonable is bitcoin being used as a currency, just like any other fiat currencies even though it need more time to achieve that. Next year, I would like to see bitcoin reach $10,000.

I don't think people are underestimating bitcoin - they're just nervous that it's gone up so fast. At some point profits will be taken and it will pull back.
I think it won't be today, but this year probably. It's not going to be always the best thing but I think, in my opinion, it's just waiting for the pull back like you said, and it will continue to run up to another all time high. It's just the best thing that has happened in Bitcoin. Just keep your bitcoins, and you would earn a lot.
8929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: August 08, 2017, 09:41:51 AM
I think the best option you have when you win money is to invest it in bitcoin. It's almost the most secure invest you can  do because bitcoin is the most successful project at the moment.
Yes the profit from gambling must be invested on other kinds of Investment except on gambling, it will makes our bitcoins be more increasing the good investing for now is put the funds on the ICOs projects, but must becareful to choose the ICOs because
many fake ICOs that will takes money investors without gives any profit in the future.
keep gaining your bitcoin wouldn't have never ending. and in the long run it's doesn't gives you any guarantee to always have get profit , i can make a vouch that an investment without passion and patience would never work . it's should be done patiently in the long run , cryptocurrency are full of good things as long as you know what you are doing.
In my opinion, there would never be a guarantee that you can earn a profit or something that would make yourself rich in a short amount of time unless you are a jackpot winner or something, it's very easy to know what to do when you have already the capital but never use it in gambling, in my opinion, I don't know it depends also on the type of person or something.
8930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: List of popular Betting Strategies on: August 08, 2017, 09:04:34 AM
martingale is the universal accepted and the most popular betting strategy for newbies however old player use it too with a little modified with changing multipliers.

I think so too and there have been a lot of modifications that is quite effective to that, not just your typical x2 of the bet or something. There are conditions that require you to bet this X amount in order to recover your losses or something. It's quite fun to try different techniques especially if you love to experiment.

8932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are? When will you stop and withdrawn? on: August 08, 2017, 01:27:07 AM
For me, earned 25% profit already enough. Because i'm not used to risking alot money to make huge profits. Probably also, because i am less interested in gambling.

Earning your target is not that easy. Whenever I heard people make their target I know that is unbelievable. They won't know what will happen even they aiming their profit. For me, after an hour if I win or lose that is the time I will stop.
Well if you follow what he said, like 25%, it wouldn't be much double the bankroll which is 200%, right? It's better to have that as a goal instead of treating it as a source of income that has no assurance, whatsoever. Risking a lot would depend on the money that you have in order to gain profit if you have extra you can probably use it.
8933  Other / Archival / Re:   on: August 08, 2017, 01:17:55 AM
I do not feel dependent on gambling, because I control myself. Many gamblers become addicted to games, because they are attracted by the possibility of easy money.
That's what we should all be feeling, we should not be a slave in gambling because there is no fun anymore if we are in that situation, once we get addicted everything will change and one thing is certain is that we keep losing money until we cannot recover anymore and will affect our life in general.
Before we start gambling, we should all know that the risk is big and we have to manage that while having the fun which should be our priority.
Yes, Gambling is not a mere fun. It involves too much risk besides the wastage of time. Too many young people step into gambling world for fun but end up with getting  addicted which is not only bad for them but for their families too. The precious time which they should invest in the studies is wasted in gambling. In short gambler should have good command over emotions.
But I think it should be because if you treat it as an entertainment, probably you wouldn't be so much emotion when you lose so if you are going to play, it's going to be just fun and no more hard feelings It's really a waste of time if you lose but if you enjoy it, you wouldn't think about that and when you are having fun, you wouldn't be emotional.

Hi Lutpin,
So for this campaign you will only start  enrolling new people in 14th August ?
Probably that's going to be the time when Lutpin will accept, but don't expect much because it would be really expensive to add more people. I don't know for sure.
8935  Other / Archival / Re:   on: August 04, 2017, 09:32:23 AM
I gambling for profit, of course. If i lost, i leave the game with pleasure. if i won, i will withdraw my winnings and i never want to earn very much. So i can  say i don't get addicted
You don't want to earn very much? but I bet you still cameback to the gambling site even if you won. That does mean you're also addicted. It's just you have a control on yourself that you are following you're limit.
Actually each person has different personality , i mean it is possible that he is really doing that.
To completely discipline no matter he won or lost , who knows right?
But as we all know that mostly people cannot handle their own greedy and it is usually leading into addiction, we cannot avoid thst.
If you think about it, there can never be the perfect the same person and that they have the same personality and characteristics overall, even twins have different traits. Maybe the first twin would be great at handling their money and the other twin wouldn't be, there are just proofs that show that. We could avoid addiction if you try to stop once you feel that you are going to be addicted.
8936  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are terrorists only muslim in religion? on: August 04, 2017, 09:26:24 AM
A lot of terrorists seem to be coming from the Middle East, because the Middle East is getting screwed from all sides. If you lived in that place you would probably be quite pissed off as well.

If you look at the ISIS, then it is clear that they are attracting psychopaths from all over the world, and not just from the middle-east. The former USSR has contributed to between 5,000 and 10,000 fighters, mostly consisting of Chechens and Central Asians such as Uzbecs.

The ISIS is definitely have spread fear towards everyone and I think it's working because all the media are highlighting the works that they have done and I've read somewhere that the ISIS has affiliations that make them do things that are really terrible. They have even taken the blame towards other stuff that I think they are not connected in any way.
8937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: August 04, 2017, 09:11:21 AM
I allocate a certain amount of money that I can afford to lose in case of an unsuccessful game. It helps a lot to avoid unnecessary waste and enjoy gambling.
It would also be helpful to try to limit yourself in winnings, meaning if you have achieved that particular goal that you have in your mind. You would immediately stop, and you should have a stopping balance too, but you saying that you are allotting with what you can afford to lose, that's fine as well because it would be okay for you to lose that.
8938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: August 04, 2017, 09:07:23 AM
Most of the people I know who are into gambling can be considered as one-day millionaires. The moment they get their hands on some winnings, they spend it on different things the fastest way they can. This is the problem with these people as they tend to not to value money as much and spend lavishly on unimportant things.
At least they are not continuing to gamble with the profit money that they received because I know some people tend to continue to gamble even though they have won a lot but still thinks they are going to win and I have experienced that and I don't want to repeat that mistake again especially if you know that you are already at the green side (positive side)
8939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: August 04, 2017, 08:56:59 AM
This is a rather difficult task, but I think that if you find some interesting hobby, you can replace them with gambling. Personally, I'm not going to quit, because I have no addiction.

Hmm, you mean you can replace a good hobby with gambling? I don't know about you but I think a good hobby is not wise to be replaced with gambling. Gambling is just supposed to be for fun and entertainment and try not to get hooked by it.
Basically, if you are really amazed at gambling and want to always play and want to profit, that's just the case towards gamblers turning addicted, I admit that I like the feeling of having to play every time and expecting to win, but in the long run, it's not working. It's just sad knowing that you are losing money for nothing because you are always losing.
