There was a time when a simple news could impact the price of bitcoin but i think things are changing and if not for the forking and power struggle we would not see a price slide and even now the price is recovering,price manipulation is possible in alt coins where they have low volumes.If you are holding millions of dollars of millions worth of bitcoin then you could manipulate the price . I agree. Does that mean bitcoin is gaining trust or there are just much more holders now than spenders or panic sellers. I guess we learned a lesson from before like the $800 rise then back to $600. That is a good experience for us to see how strong bitcoin could be. There are different types of how it could be manipulated. But as I see now, there is not much. Only dumping and pumping back for a mild profit. I think bitcoin is somehow making it easier for others to make money just like that although it is still risky for me. |

Don't be like that, people that aren't into bitcoin can't be consider as cavemen. They are just probably not being reached by things about bitcoin. So they don't know why bitcoin is a good currency and investment. But once they had enough knowledge about it probably they are the ones that will voluntarily ask someone about it. Very true. I once tried to explain What Bitcoin is to one of my senior who is also a finance guy and till now, even after 1 month he haven't understood how bitcoin is created. I hope he will get the concept one day.  I agree with you. It's useless for people to talk about what they do not care about. I respect the choice of people and I will never impose my opinion on bitcoin. But if a person is interested, I am ready to share my knowledge about bitcoin I think many of us have pass this way also. The hardship of understanding it even though it is easy for us. If all is new to you and you dont even have the slightest idea that will be much harder. People should use bitcoin because it is going to be the future online currency of people who are living through the web. Everyone has the capacity to think bigger, to have hobbies and dreams, life can't be so low and restrict to something like gambling... Overcome your traumas and you will overcome addictions. I don't think that that's the case in general. For some, the effects gambling relieves them of stress, sometimes gambling is a way for them to express themselves and some just for plain enjoyment. If you have something that you really like or you're really fond of, veering away from it would always be hard I agree with you. I think the one on top of you said it too harsh. It is not just because of that. There are a lot of different reasons for a person to gamble. I have friends who does it and they are very happy with his life. Sometimes he even does it with her wife. Its not entirely meaningless. It may not be entirely accurate, buts not stick our heads in the sand. Every day, ethereum is gaining users, and Bitcoin is losing too many because our network cant scale and is losing utility. Meh. Not real users. Rage quitters, traders, hedgers, gamers. They ll come back because of the real scarcity. The potential higher velocity of ETH is bad for the monetary value. But even this can collapse once ETH scaling is reached as well.. Yeah and they will come back regretting it. They will have to pay more than what they have sold and could make them rage more.  There will always be new buyers. Looking back at the chart. Try to browse up. Look how high all altcoin market cap is. That website sure makes a good lie. |

In some countries you already have a lot merchants which accepts bitcoin, a lot bitcoin ATM's...
In other countries you don't have really choice but to either spend bitcoin online or keep funds in the wallet.
I do think this way too. It depends on your place is the first thing you should think about. If your country dont care about bitcoin then it is okay. Some website wallet could open up for your country and be connected to a certain bank. At that point you could withdraw your funds easily into cash. That is good. How do you really want to spend it? That is the next. Is it just for investment or you have other things that you want specially with the internet things which bitcoin is connected. |

It can recover it at once more than 1200$  In the history of the bitcoin, haven't been priced down to $1000, so to be a $200 I think it's impossible. We can see now, every year the price of Bitcoin is surely increased. I believe in the end of this year, it's will be $1500 - $2000/BTC. Yeah. It went down really hard before because there is not much of supporters. But now? Yes good is just a rock and Fiat notes just paper. Bitcoin is just digital. They all serve the same function and that is to trade. Otherwise we would all need a massive supply of everything because I have only a shovel and some pocket lint to trade but I need a cow because I want daily milk. That's why we use these are items like gold silver copper other rate stones etc etc because they are just that, they are rare. Using them means you don't have to keep a cow with you in case someone will only accept cows in a trade. Now you have one item that has value and you can use it to trade for anything you want. We don't live in the Stone age anymore I think we have moved on from paper I mean we use pc's now we don't keep records on paper ? So why keep.money on paper ? It's just a currency it's form will change as we evolve. Or should we go back to carrying a whole.bag of coins that weigh down your pockets and get you killed.Or have them stolen or would you rather have a 200gram phone ? This is the she if technology.
Yes everything is upgrading and we just have to live by it. The faster everything becomes the better, so we could do other things like being with our family when every transaction is done. I wouldn't like carrying a gold in my bag so that I could trade it to a cow or for a milk. Every trade should change the way it is to give convenience to everyone.
