8941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BIT.AC :: MULTICURRENCY WALLET :: BUILT-IN INSTANT EXCHANGE :: Affiliate Program on: May 05, 2017, 07:58:31 AM
Very attractive sitr. The user interface is pretty amazing as compared to other services onlne. The website do nit get stuck at all and can help me stay live all the time. Usually exchangers are heavy sites with load on server but bit.ac has made it easy to surf. Same goes for android app as well. I enjoy both the ways to surf it. Thanks a lot.

Yes second that from the first time I saw and till today I am amazed that it's so easy and friendly to use. Normally online wallets have been getting lots of flax for various reasons but this has stood out for all. It's convenient to use for all, doesn't lag and very promptly updates itself. This is actually soon going to be no 1 wallet on the market. I am so happy that I saw it and immediately started using it, especially with Bitcoin soaring you need a trusted wallet.
8942  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: May 04, 2017, 03:10:29 AM
And advantage Juventus, while everyone did admire Monaco even they knew it was a impossible from the start, they just don't allow you to score. It's like the Spartans movie scene no space for entry and yet they can attack at will. Coming tonight game, an unexpected fit squad gives Manchester United finally some edge, with Mata to help in attack and jones, baily and smaliing back in the team. I do hope Manchester United wins it and they are back in champion league. It's either 1-0 or 2-1 at max, I hope it's sadly not another draw, litteraly tired seeing it.
8943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: May 03, 2017, 03:52:38 PM
Today many people rely on bitcoin, in the sense that they are now focusing on the world of cryptocurrency, leaving their jobs

Is there something like this, is there any special tips because i want to focus but not yet dare?

Tips start treating Bitcoin like that 10/10 girl, while everyone chasing her and you feel you won't have a chance but you do take a chance and bam she's yours! Bitcoin is simply the future, it's a currency like no other, the impressive returns, security and best of all parts safety what else could one want. It will keep your wealth safe from taxes and no one will know about you having it. Keep on buying it at dips, have at least 20% in the Bitcoins and make some good amount of money.
8944  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ProtonMail discovers a security issue in Blockchain.info on: May 03, 2017, 03:46:21 PM
For those who don't know, ProtonMail is considered as the safest email provider where encryptions are used and no logs are kept etc. unlike Gmail, Hotmail and others. They are also currently building a VPN which I believe will be the best.

So they tweeted a few hours ago about Blockchain.info having security issues: https://twitter.com/ProtonMail/status/859486173558788096

I'm afraid that If blockchain.info don't fix their issue soon, some hackers could probably work harder and try to find the exploit and hack them. so just a heads-up, Its probably a good idea to move your coins out of the wallet.

I had never heard about Proton before, but now will use it for future purposes. This is a very serious issue and it will have devastating efforts if the hackers get any data, it will be catastrophic for all, luckily I don't use it but I am concerned won't it lead to spam attacks, also people will loose loads of amounts, I do hope for the community this issue gets fixed. Any comments from blockchain as to how they plan to solve this immediately before damage is done?
8945  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reaches the price of 1500 USD do we have to sell or we save? on: May 03, 2017, 02:52:23 AM

Time I was really confused, bitcoin prices have gone up to more than 1500 USD, I have little bitcoin deposits whether at this time should I sell or should I save to wait the price more than the current price that may reach the price of 2000 USD?

What is your opinion for me right now?

The opinion of each and every person will differ in this forum, so try and understand what is in best interest. Since you say you have little then I suggest you can afford to hold it. In case you need urgent cash, sell it. However my personal opinion would be to hold it and hold it tight. This is just the beginning and it shall keep on shooting up and up. There is no need to panic sale now and it's best to keep them and at a later date sell them. But do consider your finances before you make any decisions.
8946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Girl gets raided by police looking for bitcoins on: May 02, 2017, 05:13:55 PM
https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/68nh7q/knock_knock_police_you_have_bitcoins/

I think this deserves it's own thread, and it shows how much we need Confidential Transactions, CoinJoin, Schnorr sigs, Mimblewimble, and whatever else we can do to improve fungibility of bitcoin.

The fear of ending up in trouble due owning BTC that may have been connected to criminal activity in the past is a very reasonable concern.

How do we solve this? Tone Vays already said that he is pretty scared to sell his BTC because he doesn't know if he is going to end up having problems.

First of all her English is really the problem out here and that's lead op to believe it all happened because of Bitcoins. It is evident that she did some transactions of euros now that exactly is that she's silent on. Then she blames the immigrants. She's very nicely dumped the blame on Bitcoins and and I am sure she's lying, she's only trying to gain support by using the name of Bitcoins. I don't believe in her story that bitcoin caused it.
8947  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Girl Gone Crypto - Cryntro on: May 02, 2017, 01:34:32 PM
This video came across my attention and seems to be decent enough for sharing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fUVTb8-i93s

This video both mentions Bitcoin & alts, more specifically the current nonsensical altcoin bubble that we are in. If you're around here, show yourself. There are lessons to be learned and Reddit is most certainly one of the worst ways of learning from.

Quote
"It went from 12 to 60 dollars. That's why I love it, that's why I believe in it, that's why I tell all my friends about it. If you want to make money invest in Ethereum"
A classic example of what one hears about [insertAnyAltcoin]. In the case of ETH, this is the only reason for touching it (remember when it was about the DAO & dapps, now it's provably fair gambling, et. al.?). Most of the alts are both trying to create problems and offer solutions for them.

The story in the video is the sad reality, people just don't understand Firstly what a crypto currency is, then they prefer to take information from those who absolutely have no idea about it and they make rash decisions. A classic example is one coin, since I have never believed in alts and I don't care how much high they go, they will never be what Bitcoin is to me. So coming to onecoin-much-scam I had advised people I know not to take, but their so called financial guy said it was safe and what happenes next we all know, arrest, scam and that's why I have always made it a point to tell people to come to this forum read and understand before making any stupid decisions, but fools will remain fools, can't help it.
8948  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: What is the main appeal of online wallets and why do people use them? on: May 02, 2017, 04:45:15 AM
To me, it seems like offline wallets are way more secure.

Honestly I use online wallets cause I find it easier to use and accessible anytime anywhere. Then you don't even need to manage it, all is managed by wallet owners. Secondly it's embarrassing but I have no clue how to use a hardware wallet. Even despite spending so much time on Bitcoins, I yet need to know a lot about it. But I would be interested to know is using online wallets really risky or its ok to use them? Any one who has personal experience of using both may guide me, like what problems they faced or why one should not use online wallets?
8949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What makes the bitcoin price stronger in the market? on: May 02, 2017, 04:40:44 AM

There are aspects that make bitcoin users more and more convinced that bitcoin is a good place for investment so now bitcoin prices are rising in the market!

Firstly you need to understand a simple fundamental rule of Bitcoin it works in simple rule of demand and supply. Initially when the hard folk news started coming in the demand froze for a while, which lead every one to believe that bitcoin days were over. However Bitcoin not only weathered the storm it came out stronger. Secondly there has been lot of buzz of an etf which I don't know how it will come after Sec had rejected it. Then as soon Japan passed a law, the buzz almost doubled in Bitcoins and that's why the current prices. Also I feel the impact of war is included North Korea vs USA though it may not happen.
8950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I suddenly decided to leave gambling alone. on: May 01, 2017, 04:34:56 PM
I've had good moments and bad moments in my life, but the worst moments is when I spent the entire day gambling and focusing only to winning money for this or that.
I'm tired, seriously, to win big and then fall in more deep "debt" because of greediness. I can't afford to have such experiences anymore, it makes me sad the fact that instead of saving those money I preferred to spend them on a gambling site, I was like oh ok it's just x, so If i can lose it it's ok, oh it's just a faucet, it's ok if I lose it. But when If even with the faucet I reach like 0.06 or more, and then I lose them it's still a touch to the heart, that makes you say if I start back with this amount I can magically make it 0.6, yes probably, cause I did that in the past, as my far record is been from 0.001 to 1.6 btc in 3 hours with roulette, but let's not dig that.

I prefer spending the money on what are my necessities now, than see my wallet drop in amount. Every single f*** time, every time I had the chance to buy btc, or doge whatever, I ended up expecting to win big.
EVEN if I win big, I repeat that, I waste the money afterward, because I think it's a good idea to bet bigger now if my budget supports it, and there it goes down the hole.

Why I decided to leave gambling anyway? I saw how rapidly I was going down in the past few days, and like an hot potato to keep sinking my butt on the wallet. I'm tired of that. I better move my butt and find something that used to keep me busy, like programming, I love programming. But then I got stressed and I started to gamble.

I hope you all understand. All my friends I made in these years on the gambling sites, thank you everyone for your support of my strong decision.
Thanks everyone.

I am really sad while reading this, litteraly very sad to read it. Whenever a gambler quits it hurts to see him go, cause the feeling of him broken down is something I have gone through. Gambling for God sake do only if you can afford to loose and loose your surplus not your existing income. Greed is always a issue, but one should have not loose his way. Well op all I can say is your journey will be tough, the addiction will be strong, but be positive and never come back, next time you won't be able to quit. Good luck with your life ahead.
8951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone else HAVE most or maybe ALL of their money in btc/crypto? on: May 01, 2017, 08:52:52 AM
Or is it just me lol?

Can't complain thesedays, fat stacks just getting fatter  Grin

Hahaha you are lucky to have done that, Mr Richie rich lol. I also had wanted to do the same allocation from last September but my finances suddenly became very tight, so was restricted not to make the jump, which I till date regret it. But I do hope you are profit booking, or having some strong alts though I don't like alts, some people made good money on them. Lastly must say you took a risk and that's going to make you rich and rich.
8952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: MegaTilt Poker Club on: May 01, 2017, 05:55:40 AM
Hi, after reading your announcement here, decided to try your site out. So after creating a account when I try to log in using my mobile it does not work, shows a blank page. Tried refreshing the site, logged out and logged in, doesn't work. So it's only compatible with laptop or 💻? Also the new coin you plan to launch, you have not revealed what their value will be, at least give us a approximate value in comparison to btc, cause more people will be happy to join after learning the value.
8953  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ANY BTC HOLDER WORST NIGHTMARE, and it happened to me... on: April 30, 2017, 04:08:58 PM
Hey guys,

I just want to share my story, because I feel like only people in this community can get that,

We all know the pizza story, the "young swede than became a millionaire in 2013" story, the lost hard drive story and this one that can happen to anyone:

======>I lost my passphrase. 6months ago, tried everything, even hired "bitcoin dave", nope, nothing, no password no bitcoin.

I was too scared to get hacked somehow or to let a piece of paper with indications about it... Now I'm screwed, I can't find it, no matter what I try my Bitcoins are lost forever. I always kept them, spent .10 of them once and that's it. All of my fortune behind this password was made through mining dogecoin on day one and other altcoins. And guess what, I lost the passphrase to the dogecoins too (1million Doge, could be worse)...
6 months ago I had a little financial down moment, decided to see if I could sell one, and discovered that I forgot the password.

Now, it would be the thing to save my ass (3,5 BTC is a good chunk of change for me) and be able to get back on my feet, and I feel so stupid.

Just wanted to share my experience, kinda looking for mental support here!

Take care (and remind yourself your passphrase everyday, you don't want this feeling I swear).

Oh my god, I really wish this turns out one bad dream and reality changes. Mind if I ask you why did you not note it somewhere. I use multiple passwords for all sites and I have made a diary for it. Or you could have kept it in a note app and lock. At the end words may not be able to console you but all I can say be positive, who knows you will earn double what went away. However I do appreciate you taking time out to warn everybody out here and many people do not do it, but hopefully people will become more aware and not repeat it.

Shell Game
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shell_game
The shell game (also known as thimblerig, three shells and a pea, the old army game) is portrayed as a gambling game, but in reality, when a wager for money is made, it is almost always a confidence trick used to perpetrate fraud. In confidence trick slang, this swindle is referred to as a short-con because it is quick and easy to pull off.

There's a lot of people currently living in mansions earning millions for doing nothing. They're all insolvent. It's not going to end well.

It doesn't take a prophet to see that it's only a matter of time before all these exchanges collapse.  Shocked

Now is your last chance to withdraw your coins and savings.  Shocked

Don't say I didn't warn you.  Shocked

The lord has spoken.  Shocked

I do agree your concerns are legit, but to say all exchanges will fall flat, is a bit too much of exaggerated don't you think so? I don't see any need to remove coins from exchanges I am using and I am happy to keep it safe out there and nothing is going to happen. Yes few rotten exchanges might be there but then there are other trustworthy ones to. All you need is to weed out the rotten ones and stick to legit ones. Kraken or coinbase in my opinion are legit. So if ones holds his coins out there I see no reason him/her to be worried about exchanges going flat.
8955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: “One Bitcoin, One House,” Nonsense or Reality? on: April 30, 2017, 04:54:53 AM
Zhao Dong, an old Bitcoin holder, suggested to those blind bitcoin investors that:
"if you do not have any knowledge of investment basics, please stay away from the Bitcoin world. You will not get rich, and you are just messing with the Bitcoin market. The fact is those people haven’t realized the real significance of Bitcoin.“ http://news.8btc.com/one-bitcoin-one-house-nonsense-or-reality
he believes that Bitcoin will become a mainstream currency, but it is and will continue to be an experimental new currency for years to come. Put simply, Bitcoin is so not ready to redefine currency.

Always listen to your elder folks they are right, but in this case definitely don't agree with the advice. What I may agree is, when people initially join Bitcoins it's for fun rather investment, but with a passage of time, they truly understand the power of Bitcoins and then start to make solid and wise decisions. Again I feel that no one should advice what to do with his/her coins. It's a free world and people should be given freedom to do what they wish to do. Bitcoin has already been accepted in Japan and many other countries are in line to follow suit, so guess our elder folk really needs to get up and update himself as it seems he's not aware of recent developments.
8956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When your friend that cut you up about bitcoin now wants you to hook him up... on: April 30, 2017, 03:37:06 AM
Totally can relate to this ever since I got into bitcoin world last year, and told people to buy it at 800+ people laughed at me, they thought I had lost my mind. When when it crossed 1000$ I once again tried to help the fools, but no they just won't listen, instead call it a ponzi, insult you publicly and socially. Now that's gone to moon and above they ping you back, Hey! Bitcoin guy/expert and all kind of buttering, just to find out how to get into it, though felt like ignoring them but then, if I did what's the difference between me and them. So helped them and boy when they meet me now they just can't stop gloating about my help. We all are legends!
8957  Economy / Speculation / Re: $2000 anyone? on: April 29, 2017, 03:01:48 PM
At the year end yes I do see 2000$ becoming a reality and why not, everything looks favorable for Bitcoins. More and more people are coming in, the world economy is shaky and all that is rising strong is Bitcoins. Even if the so called war doesn't happen, countries are accepting Bitcoins by passing laws and this is a suit I feel shall continue and we shall see more and more Bitcoins laws. Then with brexit looming who knows that may also push up btc prices. Over all I am pretty positive that every thing will be good for btc and 2000$+ hopefully.
8958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cheating in the Nitrogen Poker room... on: April 29, 2017, 09:29:39 AM
Am I the only person who feels op lost some money and decided to make up a story against them, I am neither for or against op but when such kind of serious allegations are made and they are not supported by a evidence link, it leads to suspicious. What if this is a alt account of someone since he is a newbie. Will be waiting for the evidence and if proved will surely spread a word in other forums to. I feel the Op should come forward with proof as this will only lead to and fro arguments of whose right.
8959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost over 12 btcs gambling on dice on: April 29, 2017, 08:45:32 AM
Thats a sad year, i just lost 100% of my coins in just 4 months
tried a mix of strategy, safe ways, risky, playing just a few times per day
but results are always the same
you lose in the end
i feel cheated
its unbelievable
know
why the house always win?
And you see people saying "it happens, you can not win in a long run"
why not? why i cant win in a long run?
why we never see a casino losing and closing the doors?
why 999999999% profiles of the top gamblers are negative?  Huh
 Undecided
but you know what i like? I like when the house eat the shit back
when someone manage to find a bug and make 6-7 digits over it  Cheesy
the house cheat, thats it

OP sad to hear that you lost over 12 Btc but one thing I did not get, you were loosing and loosing and yet you kept on playing and playing what we're you thinking? There a fine line between gambling and blindly gambling. I do hope you have learnt your lesson and will be Street smart next time. One thing that I actually liked, is you are not negative and posting that you will commit suicide. So I believe you should be positive you shall earn more than you lost, ps there more gambling than dice, sports and all do look into it
8960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why people use dice bot? on: April 29, 2017, 07:58:18 AM
Whats the point of buy it ?

The answer to your question can be found by you, by playing a bot. Now imagine you want to play 1000 bets and say with 100 satoshi's, will you keep on placing a single bet every time? Just calculate the time you would spend doing that. So the answer to your question is people do it to save time, do they make profits, I doubt honestly I doubt they would be making profits. Should you use it, until you want to play small again and again go ahead, otherwise not recommended.
