8961  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Making insane fee non-standard on: December 17, 2013, 12:37:54 PM
That guy used a brainwallet, didn't knew how it worked and shot himself in the foot. I don't feel sorry for him.

This is the type of attitude that holds back bitcoin adoption. Most people are not as technical as us, or interested in spending dozens of hours researching exactly how to move their bitcoins around safely.
If they did some research (or just looked at weusecoins.org) they would have seen recommended wallets and a brainwallet isn't listened. How much easier do we need to make it?

If I were you I would screenshot your BitMit ratings and post it here, in case BitMit doesn't come back.

That guy used a brainwallet, didn't knew how it worked and shot himself in the foot. I don't feel sorry for him. Electrum did add a confirmation dialog to prevent high fee's in their latest version.

- Shows a confirmation dialog if the transaction fee is higher than 1mBTC.

The mining pool could just give the fee back. ASICMINER did in the same circumstance.
It's a P2P pool and the fee has been send to over 300 people. Kinda hard to do.

Hey Dooglus,

Did you see that doge-dice.com cloned your website design? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=374197.new;topicseen#new

I would be pissed off if I were you. Anyway, just wanted to let you know.

Damn. Some people on here are suspicious as fuck. A lot of them have around 20 posts/activity.

Thats great. Do you get paid as a bit vegas admin?
No, I do not get anything at all. I just want to help out, that's all.
EDIT: Well, we did get something a while back, because we had to deal with some tough stuff.

We (the BitVegas Staff) haven't seen him either. The last thing I heard from him was that he had to take care of some personal business. Please be patient.

You work at bitvegas? If you can please let him know to check out the tread when he comes online.
Yes, I am one of the admins. We will notify him as soon as he gets online.

I see what you did there, haha. And hello! (I told you I would come back to say hi!)

Heb niks gezien of gehoord. Merk wel dat het laagste punt nu wel een beetje bereikt is. Bitonic schiet telkens weer door hun voorraad heen (net nog meer dan 200+ BTC in een paar uur), dus ik denk dat hij weer omhoog zal gaan de komende uur.

8971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oops - 20BTC fee paid on .05 transaction? on: December 16, 2013, 10:05:41 AM
This is a perfect example of someone who doesn't understand Bitcoin enough to work with it. I he learned something from this.

How do you guys like the new slider feature for the bets?
Looks and works good. Me likes it!

I would prefer a "Remove Note"-button, but oh well. The one thing you should add, is that when the note is empty, the icon disappears too (instead of me having to do a refresh).
Anyway, great updates and I am happy that it works now Grin
Doing that right now
And trust me, I happy too!
Yeah! And I can understand that, hahaha. Cheesy

I might start a gambling section on my website. Would be useful for new users in the Bitcoin world.
8976  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.64 on: December 15, 2013, 12:11:19 AM
AdBlock Plus ON:
- "Add Note" doesn't work.
- "Toggle Signature" doesn't work

AdBlock Plus OFF:
- "Add Note" works.
- "Toggle Signature" works.

So yeah, it is AdBlock fucking up, haha. Added the website to the whitelist.
Can I remove notes by the way? If not, you could change the title of "Add Note" to "Remove Note" and change its function Tongue

I'm quite sure that this change will be rejected, but let's see... Trying certainly doesn't hurt.
You can't win if you don't try, right? Wink
8980  Other / Meta / Re: Proposal: Highly ignored uses should have their posts less visible, with opacity on: December 14, 2013, 10:29:34 PM
Sounds like a good idea if you ask me.
