8981  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-3-1]Bitcoin Exceeds PayPal in Annual Transaction Vol at $1.3T on: March 03, 2019, 07:56:59 AM
But most transactions comes from exchange withdrawal/deposit etc, aren't they? While PayPal are more or less used by regular people. So this volume stats doesn't reflect the state of Bitcoin adoption.
Not only that, but Bitcoin is used mainly and heavily in speculations between cryptocurrencies and exchange platforms hoping to gain profits and then convert them into cash.
PayPal is an intermediary between banks and stores, so the effect of using it is much higher than speculative "which ends and falls with the collapse of prices & shitcoins."

Also, annual transactions depend on the number and estimated value "I can pay small things using PayPal," which may differ from Bitcoin transactions.
8982  Economy / Goods / Re: Glass Protector for iPhone on: March 03, 2019, 07:38:36 AM
I've checked your site, it looks like you've developed it yourself because it's not professional "personal project."
Also, you need more pictures, shapes, designs, downsizing, and acceptance of more phone models.

The payment method is PayPal so if there is no development of payment by BTC this forum is not the appropriate section of your subject. "try this ---> Build your online store and accept Bitcoin by using open-source and free software."
8983  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin financial services on: March 03, 2019, 06:59:28 AM
Another reason people tend to open bank accounts rather than store money themselves is that they can get their money back in the event of being scammed
(a sense of security really). So is there any examples of companies providing insurance for people's bitcoin?
Banks will return your money based on the basis that they are trusted parties and will protect your money but that does not mean you are safe. There are a lot of stories for people who have lost their money, even some in the bank.

Cryptocurrencies "Bitcoin" provide you with an irreplaceable alternative As long as you keep your recovery seeds safety, no one will be able to steal your coins without having to trust the promises of someone or an institution.
8984  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-02-27]Bitcoin to End 2019 Above $3,900, no Need for ETF on: March 03, 2019, 06:26:32 AM
highly believes that Bitcoin - the leading cryptocurrency by market cap doesn’t want an ETF to end 2019 vividly higher.
I remember a few months ago when we thought the bottom of the price was at $ 5000 or $ 4000 based on the return from mining and the acceptance of Bitcoin by MarketCap.
The year ended, with all the speculations on the price of $ 1000 or $ 20,000. The price is closed at $ 3000 range and the hopes are still positive.

In other words, there is no logic for the price to remain at $ 3900 by the end of this year.
8985  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to pay newbie with bitcoin? on: March 03, 2019, 05:28:56 AM
If I understand what you are missing, you need to use Localbitcoin.com or Paxful, the platform is easy and people are trusted "check them profiles" to buy and sell BTC safely.
About converting to PayPal try virwox "High fees but trusted exchange.".
8986  Economy / Economics / Re: Iranian gold-backed state cryptocurrency turning out to be fake on: March 02, 2019, 11:34:26 AM
I do not know why many are trying to add more articles about Iran, South Korea or Russia when it comes to cryptocurrencies? I have already read such news from Russia.
I do not think countries support cryptos like what is described in these articles. Many of these countries have political and economic problems, but that does not mean that they will solve their problems in highly transparent currencies.

Also, the concept of cryptocurrency backed by gold, oil or other is incorrect because it converts those currencies into mere electronic money" eCash money."
8987  Economy / Economics / Re: Does cryptocurrency have more black swan events than other assets? on: March 02, 2019, 11:05:29 AM
It seems that the author of the article tried to bring down what is happening in the stock market and compare what happens in cryptocurrencies without developing treatments for the large differences between the two markets.
Also, we can not categorize cryptos as a single harmonious unit as what happens in the currency market but rather for each coin valuation model.

The cryptocurrencies do not depend on events "black swan events" as much as they depend on the behavior of speculators during those events.

8988  Other / Meta / Re: [Feature request] Chat box in bitcointalk on: March 02, 2019, 10:31:26 AM
Not sure, chat-box has been already requested.
Ask Google "Chatbox site:bitcointalk.org" or use the search feature you will find an answer to your question.

The script of the simple machines forum is having a chat facility by default. But, not sure why Satoshi or Theymos had disabled it.
The same reason why "Marquee [move...]move[/...move]" is disabled, and with a large number of users and the absence of administrators, the server will collapse in moments.

I wish to have a chat box here, it may be helpful to have instant solutions/answers for some emergency situations.
Or it may be full of ref links, spam, and more work for managers.
8989  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: The cost to build decentralized cryptocurrency exchange like Binance on: March 02, 2019, 10:14:53 AM
Many exchanges have recently closed, as they can no longer be operated profitably.
Maybe this is the time to set up such projects. Many of the exchanges began in mid-2017 because of the boom in the cryptocurrency market but with the last year collapse, most of the projects were closed by the end of 2018.
Now the market is stable and may see further gains.

The question is, does the market need more platforms? If you plan to be like Binance you will not succeed because it has the advantages and the month. Either you have a unique idea or go away.
8990  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: telegram bots on: March 02, 2019, 09:19:40 AM
I have been brainstorming about a small project. At this moment I am looking for someone that has some experience of telegram bot development.
So all you have at the moment is a brilliant idea and will share profits when successful? Right? The developer will do all the work and you will share only after its success.

It is difficult to get such a partnership through the Internet, it is better to formulate your idea in the form of a white paper and make some payments to the developer to make your idea successful.

Do not expect success for such projects, there is a bad reputation for telegram bots.
8991  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN][Exchange] CHATEX.COM Cryptocurrency Exchange, Cryptocurrency Wallet on: March 02, 2019, 08:38:47 AM
It seems that you have started an incorrect start, many of the above accounts share the same date, some of them created on the same day, others have the same "Last Active" or "Local Time."
The design of the site does not appear to be professional, there is no confirmation of registration, the Russian language seems basic "Licenses from Estonia." Also, there is no detail about the bot.
8992  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide] Factors to consider before joining paid signature campaigns. on: March 02, 2019, 07:19:04 AM
Valuable tips, with a good rating and necessary for each newbie trying to join to signature campaigns.

I can add the following:

  - Read the rules of participation in the campaign: Many managers set special rules for each campaign so you must check it before participating, such as boards where you are not paid, the boards that should be published in the minimum.

   - Check the start date and end of the campaign and the dates of the payments: This forum includes many people and different time zones. Use some extension.
8993  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Which are some good instant exchange that does not require login? on: March 02, 2019, 06:39:09 AM
Changelly.com => Scam accusation - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5034589.0
They still have enough trust to exchange 1 BTC to ETH. I do not say they will not scam you but I did not have a problem when exchanging with them.

if you do not want to sign in is to use Bulti-in exchange using exodus "It's a closed source wallet and I do not know if they collect data."

 - Try using Binance "need log-in but no KYC until 2 BTC"
 - use Currency exchange or Bitify.com "crypto exchange."
8994  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: WATCH OUT PHISHING BLOCKCHAIN WALLET PAGE!!! on: March 02, 2019, 05:54:35 AM
When I put "blockchain" in a google search I saw this in the first place:
The risk is not limited to the "Blockchain" word, but when conducting any search, be careful to click on the word ad. You clicked on ad links used for advertising and scamming, report to Google.

Many scammers buy Google ads to promote their ads, and they put up fake links "of famous web wallets or platforms" to scam others.
Be careful and prefer to modify the HOST file when you visit Google.
8995  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: yobit about to take off ? on: March 02, 2019, 05:22:40 AM
I loved yobit for the fact that it had tons of altcoin but now 90% of wallets are offline with no response from admins or yobit team and now they are randomly freezing accounts.
It does not give you a reason to trust them if there were a million Altcoins, the inability to withdraw means zero value.
"Not your Keys, Not your coins"As long as the coins in their possession there is no way to recover it. just communicate with them and try to highlight your case as follows:

 - Create a topic on Scam Accusations, with a detailed explanation of all the information and use this Format.
 - Create a topic on yobit.
 - Contact them through social media "Yobit.Net (@YobitExchange) | Twitter."

Good luck Cheesy
8996  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Statement][Warning] Do not send any fund without sign message from btc address. on: March 02, 2019, 04:44:52 AM
When the accounts are sold, they are sold with staked BTC address, and passwords are usually not changed. So signing a message will not protect you from the risk of being scammed.
Also, if the seller is well known and has a positive rating, s/he will have one address signed by him/her for all transactions.

The best solution is that you do not trust anyone and if you suspect any user "even DT members" it is better to deal with escrow sites Bitify.com & others.

I would like to add something that @OP did not mention.
Who can create Child Boards? "Moderators, Global Moderators or admins"
Basically, we have discussed the need to create more sub-sections in the Arabic local board [you can find it here مقترح: انشاء المزيد من الاقسام ]and we want to know who has the authority to create new sections.

Also, is participation in the discussion one of the moderator's tasks?

Add information to the users' profiles how much merit had been received and sent.
This amendment will facilitate the identification of merit sources and thus increase Merit begging.
Even if there is a benefit, you can use some alternatives like BitcoinTalk Public Information Project (BPIP).
