You can't do that here. It's cheating. So if you don't want it to happen to you, don't do it!

I would like to thank all of my supporters and everyone who voted for me. I would encourage my supporters to push for a more fair ordering of candidates in future elections so that votes are not concentrated for those who are at the top of the list.

Totally agree. We should also exclude known account farmers from participating and implement voter ID.

8986  Other / Meta / Re: Wall of fame / shame. Shit posts so bad that they are actually funny on: September 17, 2018, 10:20:58 AM
Today has been a great day. I wonder what he is actually referring to as the Satoshi Giveaway Thread... The OP of OPs?

(Boring parts snipped)

...Ever since i joined the forum i did not get any merit/s and i did not even ask for it also that someone might give me one. I admit that i spam on this forum for complying the bounty signature campaign requirements to get a weekly stakes from the program.

... I sometimes do the trolling since there are some comments and threads that are useless and needs to get a real good bump to self reflect and realization of that said member. Well that was the fun part of having here in the forum after having some high blood pressure on reading so many threads and comments.

And now i dream about ranking up to jr. member to finish what i had started here since as what i have stated earlier that i am enjoying the stay on this forum. I have known some good men here like JetCash, Piggy,  Hilariousandco, theymos and even the profile of Satoshi Nakamoto BCT account after reading his giveaway thread in the forum. I envy them since they are already successful here.

I would like to tell on those merit source that there are members here in the forum also that are investors and at the same time a bounty hunter. Since bitcoin is the vehicle and we run them we have to find those individuals and should examine them and probably give them merits if they are bitcoin or cryptocurrency investors...
8987  Other / Meta / Re: Wall of fame / shame. Shit posts so bad that they are actually funny on: September 17, 2018, 08:23:54 AM

"I urge all concerned forum participants to sign the petition! Since the new rules in obtaining ranks limit us and give privileges to old users, as the competition for them will be less!"

What's funny about this is if you're not actively trying to profit from the forum, then the new rules have absolutely zero impact on your ability to enjoy the forum, except for potentially increasing it.

For the first 4 years I was a member of the forum I never took part in a sig campaign, and technically still haven't. I just have my current one up for Bruno. In the meantime I got a full-time job as a cryptocurrency writer, largely thanks to all the things I learned from this forum. A couple of times I really tried hard to encourage Merit Complainers about the benefits of the forum as an educational tool, but everybody seems to only want the easy money, destined to spend their career here as a Jr. Member, or now possibly even Newbie.

As a testament to the triumph of the human spirit, this guy, on the other hand, just can't be put down!

To think, over 1100 posts (many of which are bounty reports), not 1 merit, doesn't flinch when he's demoted to noob.
8988  Other / Meta / Re: Jr.Member demoted to Newbie on: September 17, 2018, 08:10:42 AM
Have all Jr Members been demoted to Newbie's?

All with zero merits. Per new forum rules, you must have at least 1 merit to be a Jr Member, or anything higher than a Newbie.
8989  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best upcoming ICO on: September 17, 2018, 07:46:45 AM
Why I recommend you check out YuTuCoin (ICO currently ongoing):

- YuTuCoin's goal is to re-monetize YouTubers in the form of cryptocurrency. After YouTube's recent changes to their Partnership Program, which basically rendered 98% of all YouTube channel no longer eligible for monetization, several top YouTubers have taken a severe paycut. This forces them to look for other opportunities outside of YouTube, or to just go without.

- YuTuCoin has found a way to re-empower content creators by letting them create their own cryptocurrency which is representative of their channel. These coins can be traded for Ethereum tokens that can be traded on cryptocurrency exchanges, for Ethereum, Bitcoin or whatever other coins the YouTuber wants to own.

- The YuTuCoin platform exchange allows the YouTuber's tokens to be sold on the free market, meaning the value of their token is limitless, with its price based on its popularity among YuTuCoin participants.

- YuTuCoin also gives YouTubers their own personal page on our platform that they can use to sell merchandise, post non-YouTube hosted comment and interact with their fans. At no point will any YouTuber or platform user incur a charge for using our services.

- Ultimately, YuTuCoin provides a new opportunity for YouTubers to make some extra income, while also giving their fans a chance to show their support for their favorite by purchasing their YuTuCoin token.

Price currently $0.10 per token

That’s if you hold, not spend. The purpose of peer to peer cash is to spend, not hold. You are supposed to engage in commerce at price relevant to the dollar.

That's the primary purpose of any cryptocurrency. Just don't tell people who visit this forum that.

Congratulations to Bruno, winner of Bitcointalk's Most Entertaining Member Contest!

plagiarized shit

Ingotcoin strikes again!

This shitpost has been used many times, but my favorite example is when it was the OP for a thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3023919.msg31109983#msg31109983

Yes, some other shitposter started a new thread with a plagiarized reply from another thread. How stupid can you get and still operate a keyboard?!?

Oh man that's a good find. What's amazing to me is that somebody can build and deploy a bot only for it to be used for such a stupid, meaningless purpose.

We need products and ideas!

You sure do buddy, you sure do.
8993  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The ICO with best Team! on: September 14, 2018, 12:50:52 PM
He meant to say, "The ICO with best Team, Wins!!!!"

There, fixed that for you.
8994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano on: September 14, 2018, 07:39:20 AM
Can somebody explain to me how a coin with a $1.75 BILLION dollar market cap only processes about 1 transaction every 3 minutes?

Can you tell me, who does actually use cardano? i think currently it is in test mode and only big entities apply their technology.
By the way i understand what do you imply, they should definitely make their network more popular among crowd

That's the thing. _Nobody_ actually uses it. It's been out of "test mode" for quite some time now. The reason why this coin is popular at all is because its whitepaper insists that its brilliant. They haven't really proven this to be the case, and their approach to marketing for any sort of adoption is anything but brilliant.

EDIT: Corrected spelling of learnting from leanrting cuz caused by my fingers that are the same colour as my keyboard.

Proof that Bruno is actually British, and quite possibly Satoshi Nakamoto.

Its amazing that this was written unironically, albeit by a plagiarbot.

Shh... this is theymos' secret bot honeypot. Bots that plagiarise random posts from front-page threads are easy to catch but please don't tell anyone.

The bot will never come back here, and the people who post senseless garbage here won't ever stop.

Queue more senseless garbage in 3... 2... 1...

Woow. I'll go to take a bank loan, on bail of an apartment. Great project, thank you. I will become fabulously rich, thanks to you. Good luck
