8981  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading sites on: December 20, 2017, 06:22:13 AM
In relation to what happened with BITTREX regarding their withdrawal issue, I am now curious on what trading sites are trustable. Any recommendation? I am just a newbie in trading.

Almost all are trustable*, it's just that you experienced (or you just read lots of withdrawal issue in Bittrex?) some issue on Bittrex side.

Even those suggested trading platforms here also have withdrawal issues on their side. But for me, I don't have any whether on Bittrex or any other trading platforms. So I think you need to try mulitple trading sites since you will have a different experience. I used, Poloniex, Bittrex, HitBTC, Cryptopia, Coinexchange without any problem (or should I say only minor problem).
8982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the house always win???? on: December 20, 2017, 05:22:19 AM
You have any method to share for win against the house?

What is the best way for bet and win against the house???

Please comment and let us know about it...

All strategies that you know can applied since after all, all bets will faced the provably fair. So what's the best? None. If you won, you are lucky. That's how house edge gambling games works. If you don't understand what house edge means then take some time learning it so that you will know why majority of your responses here saying that there is no way you can beat the house.

Better try your luck on strategy based games such as sports betting.
8983  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you regret selling your BTCs? on: December 20, 2017, 04:52:11 AM

No one knows the future and I am sure a lot of us based our decisions totally on that which is human unless you are extremely principled which everyone should anyway. Nevertheless, sometimes, we do always wish we can change back the hands of time, but since we cannot, we just have to move forward and re-fix the future to our best.

For an average bitcoiner, it's really normal if we see lots of them do sells because of various reasons, like you said based on our decision. There are times that people needs money, needs profit, scared of price decrease that's why they are ignoring the principle of long term holding. It's not wrong after all because that is their coins after all and only they are the one who can do whatever they want to their precious coins.

I sometimes dump too but not that much since I have a spare. Selling is part of the cycle so just enjoy the game as long as everyone knows what they do.
8984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: December 20, 2017, 04:35:55 AM
Milwaukee Bucks able to passed Cleveland Cavaliers 119-116. The game was really good overall and all I can say is !@#$%. Dwayne Wade goes into Miami Heat mode again but end up short. Kudos to all Bucks squad who able to produce double digit score by 5 of their roster.

This is how you see Lebron James' dominance at his post peak age. 39pts, @14-22FG , really a wow. He still being compared to young players like these on their recent game, The Greek Freek. Who's next?
8985  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Coinbase Charging a $23.00+ Fee on: December 20, 2017, 04:14:42 AM
It is not coinbase issue but due to a lot of pending transactions in bitcoin network, you need to pay a high fee to get transaction confirmation. So most of the exchanges and wallets are charging these high fees and not sure where it will going to end.

If smaller amount then you need to use other altcoins for urgent needs.
Is there another way to get it out of there?  I am not paying .25% of my money to them when I do not care how long it takes to get where I want it to go.

Avoid doing bitcoin micro transaction. It's not a wise thing to do now especially with the current phase (and also in the past). You will really end up paying high fees in the end.

We have nothing to do with that. Coinbase still charged around BTC0.001 as fees and that is a usual fee*. It's just that BTC0.001 in the past doesn't have the same USD value today so really expect a high fees.

8986  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Psychology of waiting on: December 15, 2017, 05:52:57 PM
I have now heard a lot of people talking about they are waiting for bitcoin to drop, so that they can buy bitcoin. But these guys might have said that since 6k$ and are still waiting. What do you tell those people, to try and make them understand that waiting for a drop can cost them huge percentage gains?

Just let them wait until they asked themselves "what's going on".

That's the problem of some people and honestly Im sick of those especially in social media. When they desired of price decrease and it happened, they will wait for more resulting again for another waiting because the price goes up later on.

No need for further explanation to them. Let them feel being regret so that next time they  will know how to deal with the risks. Too much waiting can really wreck people's strategy.
8987  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think its the right time to sell Bitcoin ? on: December 15, 2017, 05:22:45 PM
Do you think it will be the best time to sell as there are two kind of speculations one says the value of bitcoin will reach $20,000 by 2018 and there are also speculations that the bitcoin might go through a dump in upcoming days but i know we cannot believe into random predictions by random users due to the volatility of bitcoin but i need some suggestions whether to hold on to bitcoin or sell it out and invest some of it into altcoins and then wait for the price drop to reinvest into bitcoin which i am not sure will happen or not.

Just sell if you:

- You need an urgent money for emergency purposes
- You need an urgent money to buy something
- You just want some profit because you anticipate that the price will decrease later on...
...but what if price pump harder and harder after you sell?

You will never enhanced your strategy if you won't test it by yourself. Just like you said, you won't believe in random speculations so who to trust now and why still asking opinions here by others if you will also get random responses?

If you are eyeing for long term goals in bitcoin then no need to think of that. Put another capital instead if you want to invest on altcoins.
8988  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your target on Bitcoin when the price rise to $20000? on: December 15, 2017, 04:54:50 PM
What is your target on Bitcoin when the price rise to $20000?

I will rephrase it to "what is my plan when bitcoin price reacheed $20,000".

First of all, reaching that is another achievement. Now let's take note of why bitcoin price reached that level (if ever). Surely it was a continous demand so the trend that time will be uptrend. Since no signs of price crash or even a little dip, it's more reasonable to just hodl my coins.

But above all of that, if you considered your bitcoin as long term investment, then you will disregard any kinds of trends whether price increase or decrease since all you need to do is to keep your precious coins. Risky after all but that is worth to give a shot.
8989  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops question? :) on: December 15, 2017, 03:35:20 PM
Hello everyone!  Smiley

I have a few question about Airdrops:

How to make some money from airdrops?
How much can you make from airdrops for a month?
And do you know some good websites for airdrops?

1. Trade it. Will depend if the airdrop token have value.

2. Read no. 1. Also there is no such thing as fixed earnings a month for airdrop. It's not how it works.

3. Bitcoin Forum under Tokens (Altcoins).

I have joined some airdrops but not getting any token. I don't know when airdrops tokes are distributed. although I make mistake giving my Coinbase wallet instead of my ether wallet address that's why I didn't get token. But I want to know is it right to donate some airdrops?

Don't just joined but read and understand the content. Sometimes people will just joined even it's a shit airdrop. All updates are in their respective ANN thread which you can found here or (they will state it). If such cases that they don't have ANN thread and you just saw the airdrop link somewhere then just don't expect it as long as you are not give them your money and personal information.
8990  Economy / Exchanges / Re: My experiencie with HitBTC on: December 15, 2017, 03:14:42 PM
In terms of worst customer support issues, there are lots of trading platforms who have been tagged like that nowadays. Their one of the reason: mass volume of tickets.

That is all based on users experience that's why everytime someone is asking me which is the best trading platform, I always respond that they must try it by themselves and sees if that will pass their expectations. Like on HitBTC, others got a bad experience to them while others are comfortable using their platform. Same goes to other trading platforms, such as Bittrex, Poloniex, "Y0BTCit", etc.

Thanks for sharing your experience. That will served as a reference for those HitbTC users out there who will have the same situation.
8991  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin correction on: December 15, 2017, 02:57:37 PM
With all the money flowing in from blind investors and all these sudden massive increase in only a few days, are some a few scared it will crash?

I'm not saying go to 1,000$ but crash back to 10k?

And I know no one can predict anything... I'm simply asking for opinions...

Correction has really high chance to happen but the question here is, when and how much it will go down?

Since no one can predict anything then just do your chores to take advantage of the current trend or set up some plans on how to deal with the price crash once it happened. It will just stressed you thinking too much. Ride the trend, even it's up or down or if your goal is long term then no need to think about the correction as no matter what, you will just hodl your coins.
8992  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: fee transfer too high? on: December 15, 2017, 02:36:34 PM
Hi all, i'm new to trading and i made my first wallet of bitcoin in CoinBase...now i would like to buy some altcoin but if i would like to transfer bitcoin to exchange like bittrex or other they ask me an high fee for tranfer like 12$ for transfer 100$ of BTC....is it possible? How can you  make good trading if everytime you have to transfer money from wallet you have to pay so high fee?  I did mistake something? thanks

Just a Coinbase wallet for wallet purposes or you purchased your bitcoins at Coinbase for the first time?

If for wallet purposes, try not to used an exchange wallet since they are bound to have an increase with fees to ensure that funds won't be traffic along the way, that was fixed. But take note that while bitcoin price is increasing, you can really feel how high it was in terms of USD value as 50,000 satoshis today have different USD value on 50,000 satoshis in the past. You can modify fees at desktop wallets instead e.g Electrum but try not to set below the recommended fees or your transaction will stuck for long time.

If purchasing bitcoin directly at exchange, try to explore the trading platform you have chosen and check if you can able to do direct deposits there in order to purchase bitcoin. If you are comfortable with their bitcoin deposits methods then used it instead. Just do research since not all coins are same listed on different exchanges.

Paul George will be put on trading market again?

George reportedly dissapointed for what Oklahoma City Thunders is experiencing today, so much losses. They really destroyed the expectations to them. However there are still lots of games before the trade deadline so I think there is still time to regain momentum eventhough it should already happened. For me, Melo and Westbrook combination is really not a good blend since they are both ball hoggers.

We will follow this..

https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/the-thunder-are-struggling-and-the-paul-george-trade-rumors-have-started-to-swirl/
They really don't have the chemistry because despite the fact that they are all star players, they cannot easily their opponent even though it's not good teams. Let's take for example their game today versus the Pacers, although they won the game but their numbers are not quite good to see.
Based on the following shooting statistics (Westrbrook 3-17 -Anthony 4-14, and PG 3-14) it's very poor and even if you combine their shooting percentage it will only come up to 22.22% which is not very disappointing.

That 3 star player are all solo type player. This an expected outcome since I knew this super team formation. Neither of the 3 plays as support role so therefore no chemistry and good team play at all. It is just like having 3 locks without a key. Hahaha. They are all functioning in same way so OKC is just a hype team. Look at Houston Rockets team performance after they acquire Chris Paul. Harden plays like Taiga in kuroko basketball anime. They are perfect.

Paul George can adapt the situation since he can played Power Forward like what he did sometimes on Indiana Pacers but on Carmelo, I really doubt it. He is purely a ball hogger even back on his Denver Nuggets days and much more when he was on New York Knicks. They havethe same position of Westbrook and same playing style so it's really not a good tandem and combination.

But hey.. well here comes the chemistry thing again. How long should it take effect? lol
8994  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Pump and Dump. How to make a profit? on: December 15, 2017, 01:43:59 PM
Hi. How can you recognize pumps and dumps for any coin? Is there any universal indicators? I mean to predict it. Maybe there are some non-market signs (banners, posts, etc.)
Should I avoid pumps and dumps or try to earn some money?
It would be interesting to know your opinion, guys! Thanks

There is a thing called instinct which you can backed up with good basis. In crypto trading, technical analysis, no matter how good it is will be wrecked and spoiled once a massive and crazy pump and dump will happened so for me I don't rely mostly about chart readings especially for altcoins.

I know it may sound crazy for you but try to build experience in trading no matter you will lose many times on the process. Experience will teach you to improved your strategy and soon you will know how to deal with volume reading. There are people who doesn't undergo with serious chart reading because experience teached them how to deal with those risks associated when holding or trading.

Should I avoid pumps and dumps or try to earn some money?

Why avoid if you can take advantage of it. That's why you need to build experience to make your own future analyzations.
8995  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japanese company will start paying salaries in Bitcoin on: December 15, 2017, 12:57:34 PM

But how come ? bitcoin price right now is very dodge and unstable. They could pay them 890$ worth of bitcoin tomorrow it would be 700$ or less. I think it's a bad idea to adop bitcoin as payment method right now , better wait till lightning network is introduced.

And on the other hand, they could pay them $890 then tomorrow it will $1,000. Make sense. That's why it's not mandatory and I think those employees only who are interested are bound for bitcoin payment.

Honestly I don't see any problem if employees there will accept bitcoin as salary as unlike in other country, they have lots of options to used their bitcoin as there are lots of physical shops that accepts bitcoin as payment just like the usage of their usual Yen currency. And no doubt , bitcoin usage there will be more present in the future.
8996  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Whats more profitable Day Trading or Trade for weeks on: December 15, 2017, 12:36:44 PM
newbie question whats more profitable for you trading daily(5% gains) or trade for a weeks like you hold the coin for days or weeks until it price goes up 100%-800%?

Don't compare it. Instead do what you think will give you more profit. Generally and obviously, aside from bitcoin, we have different set of coins in our portfolio.

Remember that all cryptos have different behaviour in terms of price and volume therefore we have different way on how we will treat our coins whether is it good for day trading or much better if it will goes to long term hodling. You will have to make your own strategy here on how will you deal on that both. Might better try it and see the output by yourself. Goodluck.
8997  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC offline? on: December 14, 2017, 12:03:41 PM
I can't login to the site anymore and alot of others too. Is it a scam?

The site is having a problem today and there are lots of numerous complaints about that.

We don't know what's the catch here. We can't assume just because of this that they are a scam "for now". Like other exchanges, they have also complaints about lost funds. No update yet even at their twitter page.

You can also check their ANN thread for others feedback: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=378827.940
8998  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Can we sign up to bittrex without verification? on: December 14, 2017, 10:11:08 AM
Do they require phone number?

For sign ups, yes. Verification only needs for withdrawal purposes.

Unlike in the past where Basic Verification requires only phone number, it's now need documents. And as what I heard just less than a month ago, those who already verified asked to be verified again or their verification status is back to Basic or something like that. I think most exchanges now are removing mobile phone verification as what XAPO did recently.

yes they require phone number.   you can bypass this by doing one of those online sms verifications, from a site that lets you receive sms online for free ...

If for long term account, this is not recommended.

9000  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will reach 20k price point before Christmas on: December 14, 2017, 09:09:59 AM
Judging the pattern and graph, I believe each btc will cost 20k before Christmas arrives. What do you think?

It may , it may not.. everything can happened and that is possible.

Pattern, graphs, chart analyzation etc. will tell us where it "should" lead but a crazy pump or dump that will happened along the way will spoiled the analyzation. If it will not happened before Christmas then no worries as chances for that to happened are really closed to reality.

I think the current bitcoin price is a good gift for Christmas already. Smiley
