8981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what does $1000 bitcoin price mean for altcoins? on: January 08, 2017, 01:32:13 PM
When the price of bitcoin goes up a lot, altcoins will drop in the short term as people either sell to ride on bitcoin or convert to fiat for cashing out.
As the bitcoin bull market continues, people will gradually turn to alts as the price of bitcoin looks expensive compared to other coins. Then you will see huge rallies in altcoins as everyone rushes to find the next bitcoin.
Most altcoins do really have decrease on their price when bitcoin price increases and you are right on your points they are riding the bullish trend but there are some alts doesn't tend to decrease its price infact they are sticking to move up.I don't know whats the true reason behind this since im not too expert on crypto trading. This thing is just what I observed.
8982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your average bet per game? on: January 08, 2017, 01:05:29 PM
My bet is different every game of gambling. when I gamble sports bet probably many of her but when I would use the gamble dice gambling strategies start with a small bet to reduce risk

If I am certain with the sports that I'm going to bet and especially with the team that I am going to support. I will bet higher than I can but that is just happening occasionally because most of the time I just bet 0.001 BTC and its a case to case basis with my analysis if I will going to increase my bet. I just bet what I afford to lose.
0.001 bitcoin are really small amount , you can't do much with that small amount bitcoin. also imagine if the bitcoin price equal to $10 per 1 bitcoin? would it be still worth for you? no i don't think so, that's why i prefer to use percentage and usd scale to gamble . max 25% of monthly earning i use it to gamble , so far so good.
using 25% of monthly earning seems too risky for me to spend a lot on playing gambling but well it seems it does really work for you.Yes,0.001 bitcoin is too small to play on that and if you play on sports then it would be the minimum amount and if you play dice you cant really expect to make profits on it unless if you are lucky enough.
8983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: January 08, 2017, 10:56:16 AM
Gambling can be considered as a profitable activity, but every user who needs profit has to follow few of the basic procedures. Only then it would be easy to communicate and make high participation into these  activities.

I think gambling cannot be a profitable activity unless you are doing it as a relaxation activity. AndI think gambling can never give any good to anyone.
if you are keep winning for sure its profitable but if you are in the losing part well basically even in the long run you still losing stressing yourself and losing huge amount of money and side effect can be addiction or wrecking your entire life might be better to assess yourself if you can gain or if you are losing too much.
If you are a sensible person when playing gambling and you already realized or notice that you are losing too much money on playing gambling then you will eventually stop and this depends on how strong your discipline is but if now you will able to continue further more for sure.Gambling would really gives you profits sometimes but we cant say on constant basis.

Dont deposit on this site they are scammers they scammed me for 700 mbtc locked my account and wont answer to any support tickets.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1741962
This site is not scammed, please don't make false accusation, the admin always pay out all the withdrawal and bonus balance, if you already sent a support ticket to the admin, they will reply, give the admin some time to settle it, thank you

they locked my account with 700 mbtc on it and says they will reverse all the bets i made jsut cause i won alot they dont answer to my tickets
Don't keep on whining that you lost those amounts since its not yours at all maybe you have a money on it and that bets are made by the hacker and management does really have the right to closed/block the account for security reasons and reading to the chat history on Skype seems to suspicious for me and its indeed right for management to do such actions because here in bitdouble we strictly implement actions regarding on security on players funds.
8985  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Where would you invest if you had 40$/day ? on: January 06, 2017, 09:47:42 AM
40$ a day is not a big sum of money to be thinking about investments
but if you have money to invest, try self education first, invest in your brain
if it doesn't work or you have no need for it Smiley, invest in gold, silver or bitcoin
and hold, make sure you split your assets and don't rush to sell if their price is going up
$40 a day is already sufficient for me since dollar value is high on my country and I could live with that amount and somehow free from debts.Regarding on investment I would really tend to save with that amount and making a goal or target amount so that when the time comes that I already accumulate enough then that's the time to decide which investment would really suit in that amount.

Some interesting martingale bets have gone down today

Over 30 BTC profit that run alone and even more if we include profits made earlier!

Seeing the bet amount did really drool me and minimum amount is 2btc=$2k as of now and im sure this guy had lots of bitcoin to bet that's why hes not afraid on losing those amounts and seeing the martingale he almost bust up but luckily it works on the end and give him some profits and 30 BTC is not a joke already $30k is enormous.

The weekly betting contest is about to end, everyone who wants to participate still has 3 days.

16btc wager in a week here, the site is increasing and booming everyday. Maybe weekly wager data is 2-500 btc? Glad to see this.
This gambling site is just on its few months and you could really able to see the players and the amount they wagered is already good.Im happy that you are glad on seeing this and its much better if you want to try to play on the site. There are lots of contest and bonuses which really give popularity on this site.Goodluck
8989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do any people gamble under the age of 18? on: January 06, 2017, 05:51:34 AM
I want to know if anyone here gambles or have gambled under the age of 18, I feel like there are many kids who do this and I am interested to see how many people actually gamble under 18, if you have any friends that gamble or have gambled under 18 include them.

EDIT: I mean mostly kids online, its hard to be a kid and gamble physically. I feel like the gambling rate for kids is increasing a lot and is gonna be a problem in the future, especially with the CS:GO situation.

EDIT2: Another question to ask, is what is your opinion on the topic of kids gambling, do you think it is a growing problem or a problem alone for that matter?

EDIT3: What is the best way to counter this problem without websites having to know your exact identity?
there is , and i believe in here there start under 18.. and now still play gamble..

There were really gamblers ages 18 below who gets addicted in gambling. There were some online rpg games that are somehow connected in gambling that suits there interest. Internet and websites can't really prevent gambling under age.
I dont think like that, its normally human nature trying something new in teenager and a lot of they had gambler under 18 not become a gambler addicted whento they are growth be a mature.
Basing on my past experience I could compare the difference on being addicted to gambling and being addicted to computer games.I could say that gambling really waste off too much money unlike on playing computer when I was just on my young age I couldn't say im a gambling addict but I used to play with it on some times.Young ages would really engage to gambling because of internet.
8990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best BTC poker site right now since fortunejack is down? on: January 06, 2017, 04:27:57 AM
best option is going out buying a stack of cards then meet up with your friends somewhere, sit down at a real table and play poker face to face.
try this and you will never go back to online poker games Smiley

I don't think that option is available to those who wish to play for bitcoin every day/night for 3-5 hours at a time or more. Unless you have friends who are available at your beckon call any time of the day or night for however many hours and who are also into bitcoin...
Playing online and physically do really have difference on time and place because on online you could play whatever you want unlike on playing physically. As suggested above I would suggest to play on betcoin.ag when we are talking about alternative of Fortunejack when it comes to poker.Yes,it is blocked for now but theres no worries FJ team will open it soon.
8991  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: January 05, 2017, 03:44:50 PM
I feel embarrassed to gamble to gamble because besides illegal in my religion. gambling is also banned by my family. I gamble but in the end I do to supplement my income. does not always win. but I think gambling can make me entertained for gambling game in my opinion

Then online gambling is really for you. Here you won't be judged by anyone but yourself. Just don't talk about it outside of the online world. It would be hard though, since everybody you will talk regarding gambling would only be online people. Gambling for fun is nothing to be ashamed off though. The trick is just enjoy gambling and don't try to profit, usually you end up poor when you try to earn from it.
Playing gambling is actually for all but there are some instances that really prohibits us like in religion stuffs or beliefs but there are people who would like to play no matter what as long you enjoy playing gambling without aiming for money then it should be fine and theres nothing to be ashamed off same as you said and I agree with that.
8992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Change Your Bet Size With Significant Rises (Or Falls) In Bitcoin Price? on: January 05, 2017, 03:01:16 PM
Even bitcoins price would rise then it doesn't really give effect too much on how much you would bet depending on your bankroll because you will always basing the amount of bitcoins to be bet equivalent to the value of US dollar. Lets say 0.005 equivalent to $5 as of the current price of bitcoin of $956 but if bitcoin price would rise then the values would really change.
8993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto trading or gambling on: January 05, 2017, 01:52:58 PM
It's enjoyable when gambling instead of trading. In trading you will wait for the value to come up or come down when the price is right, or with some others, with the green light. In gambling, it's fun. I do gambling for entertainment purposes not just profit. If I manage to win profit, it's fun and luck has come to me, if it hasn't it's okay. Just enjoy yourself.

For me i would choose gambling if i want fun, but if i choose profit i will choose crypto trading because each of them has advantages as they have purpose for our lives as we choose them with our own desires. Crypto trading is having profitable income while gambling you only have profit if you won but if not you will lose your investments and gaves you emotional stress out of fun.
Losing on gambling will really give you stress and at the same time will give you enjoyment it depends on the person on how he gonna handle that.Yes,we can choose both anytime we want but regardless on making profits crypto trading has the edge but we should think that its not really easy to make money on it.Knowledge and skills would really need just like on gambling which needs luck.
8994  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: January 05, 2017, 12:59:51 PM
playing with profit of course is a good strategy and safe. I always do this to keep my bankroll. so that I don't lose it all in an instant.
it is a step that can make us not lose all the money we have. with the strategy we can arrange how the steps we will do.
if appropriate then we can make a profit with pleasure.
Bankroll will depend on how you gonna manage it because if your a type of person who is greedy then that bankroll wouldnt last too long because you will surely bet on big amounts and not minding the possible circumtances or results that might happen thats why if we already gain or profited a decent percentage on your bankroll then its the best time to go out.
Firstly, I think you should decide on how much you should start with your bank roll. How much you're willing to lose (if ever) as long as your ready. I don't want to use my profits when I win bets. I will put it into my cold storage and never gonna touch it again unless really need to.
This thing is the most important on most gamblers to think off is on how much the amount they could afford to lose on playing gambling because if you don't like to lose money then its not really an ideal thing to play gambling at the very first place. If you want to play gambling just for entertainment then set the amount that you could able to handle incase it would be lost.Profits is always there and it depends on how lucky you are on that particular time.
8995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which sportsbook is the best? on: January 05, 2017, 11:21:02 AM
For me, i have play in different gambling sites, especially in these sites which have campaigns in Bitcoin Forum, because these all are trust-able sites. Secondly, i do play sports bet and direct bet, but now i am here in Fortune Jack, and i know it is best and biggest gambling site. Now i am playing in only this site.
Yeah, so you are not playing sports gambling anymore just because you are in Fortune Jack, I believe FJ is no sportsbook, so you have to sacrifice your passion in sports gambling, right?

I like to point out something that it's better to play with games that we like as long as we can ensure that such site is trustworthy. In my experience, I get the best entertainment playing in different site and personally I also play in Fortune Jack as I love the site and I have my luck most of time playing dice on the site.
Even we are on fortunejack campaign it depends on the person on where we would like to play. Its either on sports or other games because they have different niche and we all know people do really have different interest, regarding on sportsbook site I heard that directbet is famous and nitrogen but well it does depend on which site they like to play sports.
8996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you can control your self when playing gambling? on: January 04, 2017, 03:50:44 PM
very difficult to control ourselves in a gambling game. gambling as it has a very strong magic to control our emotions.
do not ever play gambling if you are not ready yet dared to take all the risks that can be obtained.
Its not actually a strong magic but playing gambling would really mold your mind to be addicted on it.Yes,if you don't have strong discipline to yourself emotions will really control you out on the entire game of playing it and with these emotions will cause bad effects and mindset which will lead to uncontrolled or unplanned giving off bets without any hesitations.
8997  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beta Bitcoin Casino on: January 04, 2017, 02:54:35 PM
First thing I noticed and what is essential for a casino site, the missing HTTPS connection certificate  Roll Eyes

It should have top priority for you to a add certificate for the live version.

Also the site loads slowly (at least for me).
You are not the only one since the site is slowly loading for me too seems like theres a problem and found some bugs same as other members posted above.
I like the design and the template of the site.Im gonna watch how this roulette site would progress since there are lots of roulette games into more reputable sites.
8998  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: January 04, 2017, 11:57:44 AM
I want to know what you guys think about this, I have stopped gambling but still trade so does this mean I am still gambling?? I don't trade on basis of luck I trade using my skills would it still be considered gambling??

Please tell me what do you think.
You could also call trading as a gambling because you do risk your money to earn money and the risk of losing money is also there the same as gambling but the edge of trading is that you could able to use your skills and knowledge in able to sustain in the long run in doing trading on which could really possibly give you decent amounts that you cant see on gambling but profits doesn't come on fast pace unlike on gambling its somehow slower but in constant basis depending on how you trade smartly.
8999  Economy / Gambling / Re: Thread for special gambling offers for new users without inital investment on: January 04, 2017, 10:28:26 AM
I know faucets on gambling sites. I would not consider them as real bonuses. You request some Satoshis with which you can play one or two rounds in dice, not acutally for slots etc. I mean something like 5 or 10 mBTC for free after signup (could have a high wager to cash them out of course) or x free spins etc.

No deposit bonus/free spins could not be considered as real bonuses as well imho, simply because of the wagering requirement. Faucet is better in terms of "real bonus", why? Because you may hit big from faucet and you can withdraw it directly unlike no deposit bonus/free spins where you hit big but you cant withdraw it before you meet the wagering requirement.

Tell me one gambling site please, where you can hit big from a faucet. The sites I know offer a few hundreds of Satoshis per claim at maximum.
It is not my intension to receive bonuses in order to withdraw them immediately. I personally use them to test the games and strategies. You may argue now that there are demo or play money games as well. Right, but you play differently with play money than with real money.
Most gambling sites giving out free faucet amounts so that players could able to try out the game without getting a penny on their wallet.I would like to suggest to check out dice sites like primedice, bitsler etc. because as far as I know they do usually give faucet amounts to test it out and if you like to try roulette type of game then you could able to try Bitdouble.io.
9000  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do any people gamble under the age of 18? on: January 03, 2017, 05:01:01 PM
I think there must be a gambler under the age of 18, because gambling was very spacious, anyone can go into it. Especially now anyone can access the Internet easily, anyone can search for anything on the internet, can do anything on the internet, including everyone can play online gambling. So I think there must be gambling under the age of 18. In fact, I believe there is also a bitcoin users under 18 years old. Who knows?
I agree with you, gambling industry is soo vast especially on online world so this means anyone could really access it anytime without having verification on their ages and no one would really knows your exact age.Verifications on online gambling sites are not too strict and a simple sign up and simple verification then you are good to go.

May be you're right now easy to acces online gambling without known someone really over 18years old. But for me i knew online gambling since i knew about bitcoin around 2 or 3 months ago and im over 20 years old. Gambling is illegal activity in my country that why i never touch gambling before knew about bitcoin.

Well it's already a fact nowadays that people under 18 are actually engaged in gambling and bitcoin. Even if it's illegal in other countries, gambling being available on the internet pretty much opened itself up to a everyone everywhere. Children can play dice or slots online without them even knowing that it's something that involves money. The fact that these sites and games also are visually attractive adds to children's curiosity. So there's really no question about kids gambling at a very young age
moreover gambling sites only give warnings about sites on which they run, and I think, it's very easy to penetrate to a child, due to register, just need email. I think they always use false names, and I'm sure very many children who are interested or curious about it.
I could say that those verification that we saw when we register into a gambling site that asking our exact age is useless because anyone could really put up anytime a valid age required on which they could easily make an account that's why even minors could really play gambling without any problems. We wont know the exact number of minor ages who are playing gambling online its too hard to traced up.
