I attribute that to poor regulation (if you're in charge of that and reading this, sorry! I know it is probably difficult with whatever limited tools you have and the fact that there are so many people!).
There is no moderator designated to that section of the forum (again a sign for how important, or rather not, that section is to Staff).

Usually, if posts are repeated in a forum, a forum moderator locks repeated threads, and upon doing so, links the original poster to the original or at least informs them that the topic has already been posted about.
Moderators work based on reports, you can report each and every post if you think it's breaking the forum rules.
As you seem to be frequenting that section, let me ask you, have you ever reported a post in it?
If your answer is no, ask yourself, how should a moderator intervene if none tells them about a problem?

The forum moderation staff do not bear full responsibility, that was not my intention. To answer your question, I have reported seven posts overall, I am not sure how many of those were pertaining to that specific subsection. However, I do know that in terms of politics and religion, anything goes on Bitcointalk, even the most bigoted of posts will persist being reported multiple times.
902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what fun in GAMBLING? on: June 10, 2016, 03:04:57 PM
I will never understand why there are so many repeat threads on Bitcointalk

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1505670.0

To answer your question, gambling is "fun" because of the dopamine release that is associated with winning. Dopamine is also released when you; eat chocolate, win the lottery, have an orgasm.
903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling crying thread on: June 10, 2016, 03:02:43 PM
Please post here to cry about your gambling losses. No bragging about winnings or tips please, this is only for pure crying, whining, complaining, and venting your frustrations.
If you check out most of the gambling threads ,they're always about people whining about their loses.Very few threads where people actually gloat about their winnings.Don't see any reason why another crying thread should be here.

This thread had to be made because there are too many crying threads, this should help save forum space.
Are you trying to contradict yourself here ?

I meant, instead of starting new, different threads each time, they could just post here to cry about their losses

I will not lock this thread, if it offends you, please don't look at it. There are plenty of other threads you could be looking at.

"Gambling can be profitable in the long run! It is possible!" said the guy working for FortuneJack.

I believe this thread should be stickied as well.

Sorry, typo I meant 0.07

How does that happen, 1 is not even close to 7 on either the numpad or the keys  Huh Huh
908  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 Bitcoin = $1,000,000 on: June 10, 2016, 02:19:02 PM
1 Bitcoin = $1,000,000 USD
21 Million Bitcoins = $21,000,000,000,000 ($21 Trillion USD)

You know that this is impossible to happen even the richest man in the world does not even have that much money. I am sure that you will not be able to earn that much money with Bitcoin.
Obvious signature spammer is obvious.

I don't see anything in his post that constitutes spam. Or was that your way of trying to refute his claim?

1 Bitcoin = $1,000,000 USD
21 Million Bitcoins = $21,000,000,000,000 ($21 Trillion USD)

You know that this is impossible to happen even the richest man in the world does not even have that much money. I am sure that you will not be able to earn that much money with Bitcoin.

that doesn't even make sense.

why would the richest man in the world need enough money to buy all bitcoins?

the richest man in the world doesn't have enough money to buy all euros either, that doesn't collapse the value of the euro.

The richest man in the world can't even afford all the gold in the world either, that doesn't crash the gold market.

Your argument is just so bad.

I think he meant that $21,000,000 for every Bitcoin owner is a sum that is too large to be owned by a single person, I disagree, but you misunderstood the post (I think).
909  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bitcoin supported/backed by militia on: June 10, 2016, 01:21:18 PM
Fascism is when your currency is backed by military power. Imperialism is when you implement the means for it. The USD is one of the greatest examples. An economy based on military power cannot survive because eventually the cost for sustaining the military is more than what it can yield.
910  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: June 10, 2016, 01:19:20 PM
If everyone knew how to get rich you would have a lot of inflation. The trick is to make it so the economy is fair for everyone and prices are as low as possible.

Yes this should be the realistic panoramic view of the economy itself as a really fair one. But unfortunately we see nowadays and I am talking about europe as I live there, we have a ECB(European Central Bank) who have gone with negative interest rate in order to try to revive its economy plus a big stimulus program. This has brought some higher prices for the consumers and so far it has not been successful although I believe in the longer term will at least revive a bit the economy. Lets wait and see. So far the economy isn't fair as we see a lot of wars in the world, if the economy is fair, people don't go to protest and then start civil wars. So the economy is very far from being fair. I hope this changes with time, but I don't believe much in it.

We need to abolish central banking and the federal reserve. Only then can we achieve anything from an economic standpoint.
911  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 Bitcoin = $1,000,000 on: June 10, 2016, 01:08:04 PM
That will only happen because the dollar will suffer a great deal of inflation, not a good thing
912  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Mohammed Ali Dead at 74 ! on: June 10, 2016, 01:01:34 PM
I will always remember his catchphrase "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee".

He was a legend who defeated every top heavyweight in his era. I wasn't around when he was fighting but I wish I could bet on his boxing matches.

He was the king of the golden age of heavyweight boxing. RIP.

"float like a butterfly, sting like a bee" It's not his phrase, and the phrase of his friend, Clay simply attribute this phrase.
Clay was generally pretty nasty and unpleasant type, God punished him by Parkinson in a fairly young age, for all his nastiness

Giving Ali Parkinson's, but cannot cure Lou Gehrig's ALS. Guess God is a racist.
913  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: June 10, 2016, 12:42:35 PM
Also, server is down.
Servers have been back up for a little while now. That was pretty quick all things considered. Does anybody know if that will mess with our post count or not? Still have nothing showing up under the records.

It has definitely affected the way posts are counted. So far, only 11 posts have been counted for the day for me, when I clearly make more posts than that per day.
914  Economy / Auctions / Re: Hero member account 720+ potential on: June 10, 2016, 12:31:49 PM
Not really, 0.055

I am taking this back due to money being held up in sell orders at the moment. Guess 0.05 guy is the winner
915  Economy / Auctions / Re: Hero member account 720+ potential on: June 10, 2016, 12:30:07 PM
Not really, 0.055
916  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Pakistani husband of 3, father of 35, aims for 100 children on: June 10, 2016, 12:12:53 PM
it is very difficult to understand why some people do it,

for that Sr is a very great achievement, but it has big consequences.

These children have to share the little that the father will be getting and that the father thought of how much money is needed to pay for education, health and adequate feeding for all children he has?

That's the issue. They won't by getting education, adequate nutrition, or health care. Welcome to the third world, where every human being's value is a couple of cents of cheap labor.
917  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bitcoin is PedoCoin on: June 10, 2016, 12:11:08 PM
Here is the problem with articles like the one you shared though. No one ever mentions the currency if it is not Bitcoin. For instance, if they bust a police officer who pays children money for sex, they don't mention he used the USD, for instance.
918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin already using too much power by 2020? on: June 10, 2016, 12:04:21 PM
Eventually, technological advances will lower the cost of resources required to mine Bitcoins. You are not addressing that with your math. I will post more detailed calculations later.
i will wait for your post about calculations.
i think its not happen when bitcoin halving come,i guess some miners quit from mine bitcoins or at least they think mine bitcoin no longer profitable. lets wish this is really happen.
The value of Bitcoin is not even rising that fast and you have to know that it is really hard to predict what will happen in the future with Bitcoin in 2020 so that is risky.
And many people are thinking that the value will be higher in that year because it was already stable for a long time.

I think Bitcoin's value is stagnating. In about four years or so the price range would still be between $500 to $600.

But I wouldn't know, I don't have 20-20 vision  Cool Cool Cool
919  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why I'm an atheist on: June 10, 2016, 12:02:41 PM
Neural network is essentially an electrical network.
NOT TRUE
Firstly, Providing a scientific explanation for the phenomenon of near-death experience has been a difficult challenge for scientists ever since data in the form of NDE testimonials started appearing in the mid 1970's. (Read the Primary Source here)

Also, you have no response to Hammeroff's observations; you obviously have some reading to do.

You have no response to the AECES TOP 40 observations; you have some reading to do there as well.

Similarly to you, Moloch would like to deny veridical perception during NDE despite the fact that it has been shown in a published paper that "NDE memories are more real than real memories"! Where is Moloch's argument??

Many lines of evidence are examples of valid scientific research i.e. conclusions based on observation using methodological naturalism and valid evidential reasoning (my definition), so that is why I present 52 points of scientific evidence for atheists to evaluate with the conclusion being that skeptical criticism of NDE In This Thread is irrational.

Many eminent researchers (like Darwin and Godel) have admitted that materialism is irrational, these educated men and women present a lot of the same arguments that remain unaddressed. The arguments that you present are very weak; it will likely surprise you to learn that your arguments are not based in evidence, and this is easily seen by anyone who has bothered to click and read through all of these references:

ALL 52 points of evidence on the near-death site;
Hammeroff's work as presented here (see the Huffington Post articles: "Which came first: feelings or the brain?" and "An open letter to Richard Dawkins and Michael Shermer")
The AECES top 40 cases

SO WHERE ARE YOUR REFERENCES? YOU ARE NEWBIE_AS_FUCK AT DEBATING WITH THEISTS; YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO EVALUATE NEW IDEAS WHEN PRESENTED; THAT IS PRECISELY WHAT IT MEANS TO BE RATIONAL! HAVE YOU EVEN DONE ANY SERIOUS REVIEW OF THESE REFERENCES AT ALL??
Just want you to know this...Humans have brains and act the same..You will take in the life you live in your brain and i will take the life i live..But if we get hurt i feel pain like you if we get sick i feel the same sickness as you..
Now if i DREAM i DREAM the same dreams as you but with little twist like who is in these dreams..
But because more than 30 people say the same thing  got to be god Cheesy..IT'S WHAT BRAINS ACT LIKE WE ARE ALL HUMANS WITH A BRAIN..
IT FUNCTIONS THE SAME..

Now i think your wasting your time but if you think your not then good luck because i am a believer that nothing is impossible in this day and age..
So one day you might prove us all wrong..And then you got to prove it's to do with god Grin
So good luck with your quest..And most important we need proof your right.. And not with writing show us so are eyes can see the proof to your claims..
GOOD LUCK..Still think your better wasting your time doing something else..YOU MIGHT PROVE US WRONG..
Like winning the lottery jackpot 10 times so good luck..plus people wanting to know if an after life for hundreds maybe thousands of years with no joy of proof..

None of this is significant either way. Why not? Because it is a little thing for God to remember every little thing about the life of a person, and to keep the person's soul alive without the body if necessary. And God can instantly materialize a new body for any soul He wants at any time.

Cool

If God can make changes to his will at any given time, then is his will really perfect or divine?
920  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion: New sub-forum on: June 10, 2016, 11:57:36 AM
Most posts are the same especially about religion. Everyday the same posts that we wil read probably the same person is arguing about it.

That is very true. I attribute that to poor regulation (if you're in charge of that and reading this, sorry!
