KXIP fans would have been shocked on this loss. Till the last ball, they were the favorites but they could not finish it properly. I feel sorry for those who bet on KXIP. I can call this bad luck for them that they lost the bet.
There is no room for complacency in T20 cricket. A single mistake can cost you the match in this format. In the test format, or even in the ODI format, you have some room for maneuvering. But no such liberty with T20 format. Every ball is like a life-and-death duel. Hopefully they have learnt their lesson and will perform in a better manner during their next match (vs RCB, on 24th September). Anyone betting for today's match?

Haha that shit really looked fixed to me. 3 balls and 1 run with two okayish batsmen in the middle. It was actually unexpected and no one thought match would go for superover. Moreover the second mistake of KXIP was not coming up with Mayank Aggarwal in the Super Over. That man was in such a good touch and well settled and would have hit a few runs unlike Rahul, Maxwell and Pooran. All three of them failed miserably in the match there was no point in three of them coming together to bet.
I can't really trust any of these matches. After all, a few years back two of the franchisee owners were caught for match-fixing (they were let off with very lenient punishments because one of the franchises were owned by N Srinivasan). But this particular match looked OK. Even if they want to fix the match, would they wait till the last 3 balls to do that? But agreed that KXIP should have sent in Mayank Aggarwal. That was a big blunder from their part. Captain prefers big hitters for the super overs so we can't say this is a match fixing.
It seems players are struggling with hot weather condition in the UAE, anyone noticed that? Because at the beginning scores started to rain in the beginning but after a while it looks too hard to score the runs. |

Disappointed with Hotstar. They used to allow free streaming of cricket matches and now asking for subscription. JioTV is not helping either  I don't think they had free streaming earlier. When I was in India, sometimes I used to watch their live streams. It was free for the first 5-10 minutes and after that they will ask for subscription. And I don't think that they can legally stream the matches for free. The TV rights were sold for such a huge amount. If they live stream the matches, then it will cause huge losses for the rights holder (Star Sports). Hotstar holds the online broadcasting rights for this year, and they had deal with Jio last year so people who had jio app can watch it for free but this time Jio not interest to renew the deal so hotstar holds the sole right of it and no one can officially broadcast. Facebook pages may illegally broadcast it but soon they will be takedown due to copyrights from the facebook side so need to find new pages for every matches. |

Does anyone know where this match and the whole IPL season 2020 can be seen live on Internet (Youtube) as these matches are not been broadcasted in Pakistan sports channels  Notably, there will be no IPL live telecast in Pakistan. The IPL broadcasters have also got into contracts with the local broadcasters in Afghanistan and Bangladesh for the IPL 2020 live streaming. Seems Hotstar is the only online platform which streaming IPL 2020 and it isn't available on Pakistan as well but you can download that app using VPN into your device and can buy the subscription with someone's help in your neighbouring country. It not a practical solution as it is subscription based service and only avaible for the residents of India. Secondly i am not willing to spend the money to watch the IPL live action. I hope someone will come up with a free of cost solution. So there is no way as well to watch if for free legally since its subscription based.  You can buy hotstar account details on different sites and forums but we never know how legitimate they are so it upto you whether you want to pay to get 2 months of cricket or just want to stick with cricket updates only. |

Yay! CSK started with a win finally. Dhoni made no runs but still loved watching him after a long time lol
CSK's players were clearly better than MI with two players scoring half century. Even the bowlers were better.
CSK played better cricket today that is the difference, and its a known fact that MI will take time to settle between their teammates as always and they played destructively in the beginning but the only mistake is they kept losing wickets in the regular sessions which CSK made 100+ partnership at steady run rate made the big difference. |

Let's see. I made a bet in favor of MI. And surprisingly a majority from the Bitcointalk pool have opted for MI. Around 2 hours remain and till now there is no news of any of the players pulling out due to COVID 19 infection.
Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock will be opening for MI, and Trent Boult/Jasprit Bumrah are likely to open the bowling. For CSK, the middle-order looks strong, with the inclusion of Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni. And indications are that Josh Hazlewood will be paying for CSK today, which will be a very big boost for them.
If CSK bats first, the big concern for the fans would be their ability to score quickly. Most of the players are 30 plus and many are 35 plus, and they don't have as many big hitters as MI.
My gut feeling says that the team which wins the toss will opt to field fist.
Both teams are good but MI usually starts their games with a loss and then start winning games so hoping they follow this trend today as well. Putting some money on CSK in initial stage as odds are better, packed up all the pending work so will keep my eyes open today. I opted for MI in our pool as well but MI has a habit of losing every opening game and no idea how pitch is going to behave so will wait for pitch report and toss for final pick-up. --- MI squad looking strong af in comparison of CSK.  MI rarely win the league matches in the first 7 matches. But yeah on the comparision MI looks more stronger especially in the bowling unit where as in Chennai young talents and old veterans along with some new players so it is going to be a good test for both the teams.And of course the whole cricket fans in the world is waiting for the match which starts in the next 45 minutes. |

Truthfully speaking, IPL is another league when compared to the tournaments that you mentioned in terms of popularity etc which is why they are in the position to make such demands. More richer the board then more influence you will have that is applied to this, and IPL mainly designed to cover the summer holidays in India where the younger generation is more compared to other countries that is how IPL got more successful and made people to engage into cricket even if they are not a cricket fan earlier due to local patriotism. |

maybe the OP is paying his debt on a fixed amount per month or maybe he just ignores the debt and doesn't pay at all and avoid the person he owes. If we have some kind if debt to be paid ever month then the first thing they have to do is ti find a source of income which gives then constant pay not the one lime gambling which decide the wins based on luck. |

If ICC is serious about spreading the cricket world wide then they should introduce 24 team world cup tournament for ODI and T-20 instead of 10-12 teams but no they are not interested as they don't want to repeat 2007 like scenario. BCCI don't want to distribute the revenue further with more teams and that is the reason why Cricket was not included into the Olympics as well when all other boards are okay to accept it.If the system goes like this for few more years then next generation may not much interested with watching cricket. |

I understand that BCCI takes most of the revenue from the ICC tornaments etc but what about Australia and England Boards ? Aren't they also considered as main boards like BCCI. I dont think ECB and ACB can settle on any less revenue as compare to BCCI.
