How many of you can admit that buying Bitcoin was a worst decision of your life? I can. I'm approximately -50% in fiat funds now.
Sooner or later some type of bank chain or coin will come and gain mass adoption - while bitcoin still remaining a geek coin
to buy weed.
I know this forum is more like a cult than a information channel what comes to honest opinions but I know there's others
on this forum who feel the same, almost all of us. Don't let your cult believer ego come in the way.
im sorry youve lost money with bitcoin but ultimately u choose to buy in at a high price and it was your decision that made you lose money. someone else choose to buy low and sell at the higher price and now has your price. bitcoin has both the positives and the negatives. you just have to be smart about what u get. |

the number seems a bit high to us right now but imagine this did anyone expect bitcoin to hit $1000 back in 2009?
even if the number is kinda unreasonable it might still be possible if EVERYONE in the world gets to know about it, like pedrog said its all about the userbase.

gold would be a SAFER investment in the long term, but if you choose to invest in bitcoin, its unpredictable if you'll gain money or lose. in the future btc could skyrocket if it gains enough popularity it could also die if everyone gives up on it. if u feel like doing a risky investment choose bitcoin. safer investment, go with gold  |

i like it because its so easy to start using. its extremely easy to create a wallet. and when you send and receive coins its totally anonymous. you dont have to provide any real life info about yourself.

i have a pretty good idea: make a website where you can sign up with your btc address and you have to prove u own it by signing up with your private key. and after you sign up u can chat with other ppl using their btc address. its like a chat but with btc addys

honestly ~1000 seems like a pretty realistic number, anyone that thinks bitcoin is gna be worth 10000+ is just daydreaming. bitcoins price is a reflection of how much its being used and for it to go up that much the usage has to increase by a shit ton. |

ok heres the thing, you might think that you have a strategy that always works for making money on dice game, but in reality you dont its as simple as that. dice games have a ~50% chance of winning or losing it doesnt matter if you increase or decrease your bet or whatever you do. in the end you have an almost equal chance of gaining or losing money

lol thers no such thing as "professional gamblers" unless you're talking about sports betting or poker. gambling has a % chance of winning usually around 50% and making a living from gambling is just bad. you will have the same chance of losing money than getting money.

quantum computers aren't technically here yet. its just a logic board. but if they were, i wouldn't expect them to be used to crack private keys, that would be using wayy to many resources just to crack a bit of a cryptocurrency. highly inefficient.

majority of people's opinion on the halving is that bitcoin will go up in price because the supply is reduced. although there are other things that could happen. the reduction in supply could mean that the amount of bitcoin being circulated decreases and overall thats not in any way good for bitcoin.
i just hope that bitcoin stays alive and strong after the halving,not too worried about the price

I will probably sell 2 or 3 when it hits 1 million dollars per coin  lol 1 million per coin? thats highly unlikely. with 21 million coins in the market that would make btc a 21 trillion dollar industry. that would be a sight to see. i personally would sell my coins if they went over 2000 usd.  |

im doing exactly what you're doing. But i think im in it for the extremely long run, ill be hodling my coins for atleast 10 years from now, or until bitcoin dies. lets just hope it's not the latter  .

ehh documentaries might work, but i highly doubt they'll appeal to majority of the people. barely anyone is going to want to want a 30 min documentary about bitcoin just because they are intrigued by it
