901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hard earned money - Busted in seconds on: May 23, 2022, 06:31:42 PM

Of course, it is not going to be a problem for everyone, of course it could be something that we all do and it would be a problem for all of us and we could all make mistakes. So ignore OP and focus on how to help everyone at the same time, we are all making mistakes all the time, it's normal, the size is smaller of course, so this is a warning for everyone.
Excess of everything is bad - I read it somewhere.
Be it money, wealth, habit, addiction. One should always keep his emotions in control - people lose control for having a moment of fun and they repent for the rest of their life. This is what happened here.
902  Economy / Economics / Re: Who will Replace Russian Gas Supplies to Europe? on: May 22, 2022, 05:33:12 PM
People keep suggesting Iran in this topic but they just focus on the capacity Iran has and some random statements published in the media. I don't think it is going to happen for a single reason: lack of incentive.

Iran simply has no reason to replace Russian gas in Europe because years ago the plan to export gas to EU was on the table and the incentive was also there for Iran since the economy was a lot smaller than today but EU didn't agree with it for reasons that are off-topic here.
Today Iran's exports are at an all time high and the cost of energy is rapidly rising which means the energy parts of exports Iran already has are generating a lot more money already.
Iran also has sanctions as well, why would everyone suddenly forget about what Iran did and why they were banned from the world trades and then somehow just because Russia is banned from the gas situation suddenly people will start trading with Iran? I do not think that it would work, I mean even Iran would say no to that even though it would help them.

I believe that Qatar would be of some help until a point, and they will find smaller places that would grow bigger with some investments and just use that. That is of course just an idea, there could be some stuff which could be done to find loopholes, like find a nation that deals with Iran, and then let them get it from Iran and they could get from them and do a loophole like that.
This oil and gas monopoly and trouble by US - has brought the world this far.
Every oil producing country faces difficulties this way or the other way. Why don't these war let live other countries in peace?
903  Economy / Economics / Re: Maybe you dont like current financial system but its the way how it is on: May 22, 2022, 05:29:29 PM
Maybe the world may have to live with the economic downtime that is seen now as the Op made suggestively. The world is facing plenty of economic challenges that has continued a long time ago and this may continue when you are making analysis of incidents that has given concern to the countries. Recently, not quite long some region of the world struggled with economic recession and it was time for covid-19 pandemic. These led to unplanned printing of money that some where not accounted for in the plan to solve the financial problem of the countries hit by covid-19. After now the world may see another global crises that can change the financial plans and this keep affecting the economy.
WE don't like so many things yet we survive with them. There is no choice.
The revolution does not comes in a day - it takes decades. And we all live with the bogus stuff and helpless have nothing to do at all.
904  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian Gas ban - A problem for Europe or suicide for Russia? on: May 22, 2022, 05:27:42 PM
Russia don't has much in its hand. Europe has came together to despise Russia for its war in Ukraine. Russian economy is being systematically choked by US and allies. Most of the European nations are only trying to just supporting US, even if they are facing short term challenge. By ensuring high cost of petroleum This in one way is also boosting  the electric vehicles and will benefit US and europe  more in future.
Either it will bring more electronic vehicle to the road or the world will understand no to have bad relations with Russia.
Apart from Vehicles - there are many industries which need oil and gas supplies. On a lighter note. Warlords have to find the souloutin through dialogues.
905  Economy / Economics / Re: What can an average JOE do to face the global food crisis? on: May 22, 2022, 05:24:23 PM
Go grow your own food little joe. grow mushroom in your store room and grow vegies in your balcony. Use lesser water and do rainwater harvesting in your home. what else you can do. Don't waste food. It will be helpful for others
Yes - that is a very good suggestion. I once met a group who was working on edible organic garden franchise in the world around.
That was one perfect project to get rid of inorganic food - they prefered to have your food grown and make the earning through that garden. Wonderful project it was.
906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hard earned money - Busted in seconds on: May 22, 2022, 05:21:19 PM

He may read the replies but not all I'm sure, he is active but rarely replying to the discussion he started.
I have no idea about his marriage status, but even if he is still single, losing hard earned money in gambling is absolutely bad.
Are you wondering about his debt because the lost money was planned to pay his debt, hope he got other money to pay his debt and he realizes his own mistake so he wont repeat the same mistake in the future.
I think the thread should be locked by now. Because the OP is rarely active and there is no much discussion left for this forum.
But one lesson learnt - Live within your means and don't spent the money before it is in hand.
907  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why Russia isn't using it's full force in Ukraine ? tactically .. on: May 22, 2022, 05:19:25 PM

Russia broke international law by invading Donbas and Crimea in 2014.  Since then they have committed genocide against the Ukrainian people.

Since Feb 24, 2022, they intensified their genocidal actions.

The whole world will stop them. First in Ukraine, then in Russia, and all Russian-occupied territories since the 1500s.

Free Caucasus, Komi, Yakutia, and other non-Russian territories!!!
Already so much damage is made and so much trouble has been done.
Still people want Russia to impose more power on Ukraine. War needs to be stopped whatsoever is the case. There is no justification for the war.
908  Economy / Economics / Re: Well now i know why Bill Gates bought farmland back in 2021, how did he knew ? on: May 22, 2022, 05:17:46 PM

There are things which they are really good at on where they do make out presumptions on what are the things might possibly happen ahead basing on the recent or current situations that they are seeing.

Once they do applied that kind of analysis then they would really be making risky decisions since we know that investment do talks about money so they would really be making or doing such step

on what they've been seeing but of course they are taking some risk too but it turns out their analysis was right.
Like oil and gas is very important so is food.
Investing on farms and agriculture is a very good decision because it is never ending demand. The one who makes their mind towards it. Are always in good profits and mood.
909  Economy / Economics / Re: Wheat War I is going to be World War III on: May 22, 2022, 05:15:53 PM

Here is another good statistics from statista:
Leading fertilizer importing countries worldwide in 2020, based on value
Leading fertilizer exporting countries worldwide in 2020, based on value

The main exporters of Russia's fertilizers are Brazil, Estonia, India, China and the United States. Source 1

You should also check Food Security index. All the top 6 countries are European countries. In general, EAA countries lead in the chart and Russia is 23rd on the list.
They took Russia very easy - thinking Russia is Afghanistan or Iraq or Iran or Syria.
But Russia is powerful. They are going to fight back. No matter what and the world will understand that cutting off ties with Russia is not an easy thing.
910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: May 22, 2022, 05:10:57 PM
I hope that Belgium can win the world cup this year, with many star players in their team and almost have skills that are evenly distributed in all lines, it is not impossible for Belgium to become champions in 2022.

I certainly agree with this and I've also noticed the dedication of their star players this season. There are lots of teams who are this year's favorite but Belgium's performance is also something to look forward to. Portugal and Spain are also favorites but all of them to be honest, deserve a good win.
There is no country that we can take lightly in this year's world cup, because all countries have quality players, Portugal has a qualified squad, for Ronaldo and Messi this year's world cup is the last world cup for them, of course they will fight to get it. trophy in their last world cup, Brazil also had star players, so did England, and spain, but this year I will place a bet for the England team.
Also there are so many other factors involved as well in the sport. The most important of all is the luck. Hard work is important so is consistency so is luck. So we can not predict only on the bases of player - FIFA is too far - let's see how the tournament unfolds.
911  Economy / Economics / Re: Well now i know why Bill Gates bought farmland back in 2021, how did he knew ? on: May 20, 2022, 03:36:35 PM
I think you are over reacting on this. With IQ level of Bill gates he can easily foresight this as he was already playing a big corporation game in his time.
I saw an interviews in which Bill and Malinda said that when they go Africa first time for honeymoon, They saw life differently and from there they changed there way of thinking and start doing humanitarian acts to help food crisis and more. Also the demographic chart of world population already predict how dens the population of world could be back in time so he grasp the idea of food shortage already.
That is correct. These investors have great minds and they are looking toward every aspects of investment.
These influencers are the role model for the general public - we all look towards them for the ideas and motivation.
912  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why Russia isn't using it's full force in Ukraine ? tactically .. on: May 20, 2022, 03:24:47 PM
I'm sure when Russia's invasion of Ukraine took everything into account, and maybe this is as a test to Europe and the USA whether they will react, if the reaction is as normal as it is now then I'm sure Russia is considering its next target country.
In my opinion, the reason Russia is not using its full power against Russia is because Russia is aware that they are fighting against their brothers, so until now Russia has not used fighter jets to attack Ukraine, actually Russia only wants to fight America's allies who want to make Ukraine a scapegoat. If they really want to use their full power, it is certain that Ukraine is powerless.
Had they be so concerned about their brother - they should not have attacked their brother at the first place.
Russia should have not initiated this war. Pakistan too have paid a hefty for visiting Russia before war.
913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hard earned money - Busted in seconds on: May 20, 2022, 03:13:20 PM
Many of us lose money, and the emotion after a large loss is really sad; all you have to do is accept how difficult it is. The more money you lose, the more you want it back, and people may get way too greedy, so I recommend taking a break and simply observe the game.
Obviously many losses money in gambling but majority of those losers didn't regret that they lose because in exchange of that lose is entertainment that can't be felt anywhere but other than being entertained, if they get lucky they can go home with some decent cash.

Only those who feel sad are not playing gambling the way it meant to be. They treat gambling as a source of income and expect to get money out of it on a regular basis, that's why they feel really bad if they fail to do so. At the end of the day, they won't have a choice but to accept it because it already happened and they can't do much anything about it. Trying harder to go back will only make the situation more worse.
The gamblers accept their lose in gambling in the end because as we can see many of them are still playing and using other money. It shows their sadness and regret are only temporary and once everything is resolved, they will return to the casino and continue playing. Maybe they will play other gambling games to try their luck and some of them can get their money back although not all of them.
IS OP reading the replies - there are so many mesg who are advising him but seems like he is not active?
Had he been married - his wife would not have apologized him by now.
914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hard earned money - Busted in seconds on: May 16, 2022, 05:10:07 PM
This is why we have so many addiction cases in our time now,it is not that easy to stick to that statement that we will only gamble we can afford to lose.

Nobody can follow this by heart, there will be a time when people are tempted to put in more money, gambling is associated with our emotions and sometimes our emotion betrays us, this can happen most of the time to a gambler who loses control but for a response, they do this only from time to time, besides we are only human and not perfect in controlling our emotions.

Still good for those who only deal with this kind of mistake occasionally, but for those who mismanage their emotions and engaged too much with this vice, they became addicted and most of the time suffer from emptying their savings. It's too difficult if you don't know how to control things when enjoyment and aggressiveness already combine.

Something that you need to work if you don't want to see yourself losing everything to the extent of not just financially but

also with your relationship with your love ones.
THe OP might have got so much sympathies by now. But I sure he would not recoverd from the grief by now.
If gambling brings goood luck it brings hard hard luck as well. One should keep one emotion in control while betting for gambling.
915  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why Russia isn't using it's full force in Ukraine ? tactically .. on: May 16, 2022, 05:05:53 PM
Why Russia isn't using it's full force in Ukraine ?

Why the russians are allowing the ukrainens to win ... they had Kiev in their hands and then they retreat ,it makes no sense, tactically it makes no sense ... as a general i would have bombed Kiev like Mariupol or worse ...

Russia has a lot of resources ...ammo never finishes for russians ...you had Kiev in your hands why would you give it back ? ...no sense ...

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2022/3/2/why-hasnt-russia-mobilised-its-vast-air-power-against-ukraine

Maybe because they don't want to put too much and spent too much in this war , everyone knows that Russia is a big country but has many countries that is not in good terms or should I say they have an enemy countries such as US, they need to secure their country for having a backdoor attacks, in a war they should not give all their resources .
Russia should stop by now. Enough damage has been done already.
If they have not used their full force and the damage done is irreparable - What would have happen if they would have used the whole force, The earth need time to heal.
916  Economy / Economics / Re: Standard of living on: May 16, 2022, 05:03:28 PM
My standard of living is increasing due to inflation factors, the beginning of the year several oil subsidies, electricity and clean water are reduced significantly so as to make the cost of production, transportation and so on to rise and make inflation that continues to increase, with a standard life of 3 meals, transportation to offices and rental costs My room needs about $ 300 per month.
Every where there is trouble - earlier it was due to COVID. Due to  bans trade and travel has stopped. Now due to Russia and Ukraine war things have been so much difficult. There is rise in petrol prices everywhere and that is the result of inflation - this hurting world will take so much time for the healing now.
917  Economy / Economics / Re: Well now i know why Bill Gates bought farmland back in 2021, how did he knew ? on: May 16, 2022, 04:58:24 PM
If you read any news well, you can draw several scenarios for what happens in the future, and if you have enough money, you can quickly double that money by publishing it after investments.

Bill Guest is an exceptional man. He is smart, has money, can employ smart people, and can learn information from governments or third parties that most people cannot access, and he has several intersecting investments, so it is not likely that he knows of an upcoming food crisis despite The average analyst can predict it.
These people have very smart minds - they know where to invest and how much to invest.
That is one of the reasons they are influencers and trend setters. Their goals and mottos are different from the ordinary people.
918  Economy / Economics / Re: Wheat War I is going to be World War III on: May 16, 2022, 04:56:55 PM
I did saw the news about India stating they'd stop exporting their wheat. It's not really just Europe that is going to be affected by this. A large portion of North Africa and Middle East import their wheat. One of the reasons Egypt is angry about the Renaissance Dam is the reduced flow while it fill up is going to affect whatever wheat yield they are currently producing, and they are already importing a large portion of what they consume.

I was about to say I'm not as worried being a rice eater then I remembered China is basically strangling continental Southeast Asia's water supply and that would affect their rice production. Water war.

So we have a combination of decreased imports, decreased domestic production and at the same time we have an increased consumption. This sounds a lot like a recipe for disaster.

Due to intermittent fasting, I've somehow reduced my meals to x2 a day and I believe I can bring it down to x1 if need be. The problem is not everyone is just going to consciously reduce consumption and by the time they do, it's likely coz there's already a shortage and they were forced into it.
that is why I have mentioned earlier that world can not shut its door to the Russia - Mainly due to oil and 2ndly due to wheat.
This war is going to have lasting affact on the economy. And Russia will rise again no matter what!
919  Economy / Economics / Re: Solution to unemployment: creating new jobs or early retirement on: May 16, 2022, 04:53:41 PM
Early retirement will not the best solution since imagine how big the numbers of employment happen if those oldies will force to resign. Maybe the one needed by government is to creaye strategic plan where they can make this  country appealing and highlight those good changes happening in the market. Government should look up and choose the issues what they can apply it to us. Also he needs to boost up the economy.
Time has changed now. The work dynamics too. People have moved toward online mode which has reduced the stress of going to the workplaces and have saved so much of the time. I coming day there will be different problems and this early retirement debate will be overtaken by some other matter.
920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: May 16, 2022, 04:50:29 PM
Arsenal lost the previous week against Tottenham, of course has a very big burden on today match, against Newcastle later, Arsenal must win to be able to regain the top 4 position from Tottenham, but Arsenal work today is quite heavy because since being taken over by new coach, newcastle began to show good performance and even became a very difficult team to beat and it was proven that those who were previously in the relegation zone are now starting to be in 14th place, so this shows that arsenal should be careful today against newcastle in St James Park.
The loss against Tottenham is harmful for Arsenal but they still have the fourth position if they win two more matches. They are responsible to win only 2 matches and protect their position. If they can't, they don't deserve the fourth position no matter how impressive they have played in this season.

Succeed or fail, they can consider this season as a great one for them to become stronger in next season. They have played better than what they can imagine at the start. Some of their young players have grown up too much in this season and they are true future of Arsenal. I don't think their task is too difficult. If they can get rid of pressure on their shoulders, and play as simply enjoy their matches, they can win last matches and beat Tottenham in the end.
Tottenham beat Arsenal to move two point a head. Matches are not becoming interesting and there are yet to be a lot of unpredicted stuff coming. I think Tottenham will surprise us more. Good luck for Arsenal - pressure are on them.
