901  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: FastCash4Bitcoins (Update: Added "check in the mail" as a payout option) on: June 16, 2012, 06:33:37 AM
Tangible is a great bitcoin business that functions just as it should.  Great low fees, superb customer service, and everything is always friendly and smooth.  I highly recommend them.
902  Economy / Trading Discussion / Bitmit- any idea what is happening with them? on: June 14, 2012, 05:53:20 AM
Anyone know what is going on with them?  They don't answer any emails.  I pulled my auctions except for the one that had bids.  This is the most troubling aspect of all bitcoin businesses- the serious lack of communication.  It doesn't take long to respond to an email.

John "The Pig" Horton is quite a piece of work.

http://pharmacycheckerblog.com/call-for-congressional-investigation-into-government-ethics-violations-by-john-horton-president-of-legitscript-com

Just another scumbag American politician wallowing in the mud bath of tax money and private money mixed together!  Land of the free and home of the brave, right?  LOL.
919  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: First international online pharmacy accepting Bitcoin! on: May 28, 2012, 11:21:32 AM
"LegitScript was founded in 2007 after its president, John Horton, saw what a huge problem rogue online pharmacies were from his work at the Office of National Drug Control Policy in Washington, DC. He left government to form a private company that would tackle this issue."

So- we have a former federal bureaucrat who is now a puppet of the American pharmaceutical companies, the greediest, sleaziest individuals on the planet.  And he is "helping" to "protect" consumers from these awful online pharmacies that just happen to sell for a fraction of the pricesof his thieving bosses.

Seems like they really have your best interests at heart!  If they say theswisspharmacy.com is "Rogue" then they surely wouldn't lie, now would they?

Except that I have used this company and will continue to use them because they deliver quickly, respond to any questions I have, and the medication that I purchase meets my needs for a fraction of the price that I would have to pay from any bricks-and-mortar pharmacy.  The choice is plain for me.

920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 0.6.2 and Ubuntu 12.04 not playing nice on: May 28, 2012, 10:29:02 AM
Just upgraded the client to 0.6.2 and the icon is no longer in the system tray (notification area?) when bitcoin is running.  It is also absent from the menu bar.  Hmmmm.  I guess I could choose to never minimize it but that doesn't seem practical.

Anyone?
restore program focus
terminal:> wmctrl -a bitcoin

Darn!  I was so hopeful when I saw this.  But no, it doesn't work at all.  Nothing happens.
