Modified Kernel i assume?

Stock kernel with same settings as you gives me 5.1Mh on a 290.. Smiley

however with the Darkcoin-mod tricks applied it gets me to that same point Smiley

get some HW error after a few day
I have try used many setting with -w -X gpuengne and memclock but still got HW error

Quote
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1

sgminer.exe -k zr5 -o stratum+tcp://zrc-stratum.suprnova.cc:2257 -u ziftrcoin.1 -p x -w 256 -g 2 -X 1024 --gpu-powertune 20 --gpu-engine 1100 --gpu-memclock 1500 --lookup-gap 2

only use: sgminer.exe -k zr5 -o stratum+tcp://zrc-stratum.suprnova.cc:2257 -u ziftrcoin.1 -p x -w 256 -i 18

When i am home i will send u my .conf file, this because i dont put this information into the .bat file. atm i am at work till 22:00 gmt+1

trying with your setting but still get hw error, this happen after a day, before is no problem

and i think i'm not the only one

I'll crosspost here since I am getting no response in the mining forum:

Wolf0,

I am using the Ziftr miner on 6 different rigs.  These rigs all have AMD 14.6 or 14.7 installed so I put the 15.3b drivers in your miner folder.  After about 18 hours of running with no reboots (yea!) each rig has multiple hardware errors and it is ALWAYS and ONLY gpu 0.  Does that mean anything to you?

I am using Tahiti cards, 1050/1500, xI 1024, w 256, g 2

Please advise.

NB: running with x11 algo everytthing is normal
when running whirpoolx and zr5 algo with wolf mod shows hw error and unstable hash

now my PC looks something change everything running as administrator automatically >.<

Exactly the same over here, 2 Rigs, both 6 cards, both card 0 multiple hw errors.. Very strange indeed!

Mining x11, gpu0 hashes but no submitted shares and no hardware errors, gpu1 is ok.
Tried switching the two gpus but still gpu0 doesn't work (i.e. the gpu in the top pci slot).
I'm using wolf0's binaries.
Mining other algos works fine.
Also tried older sgminer versions but no change.
Any clues?

I'd say the problem is between Wolf's x11 bins and new AMD drivers (14.12 and 15.3beta).
Standard x11 kernel works with any driver version. Sgminer version is irrelevant here.

Wolf, do you have any explanation? Smiley

I can add the information that I had this problem with pregenerated bins: if I compile them myself, they work.
Maybe it's a 32/64 bit issue?

I am mining on Ubuntu 14.04 Linux, AMD 14.7 drivers, 6x 280X, and the slot 0 card fails in less than 10 minutes.  AMD 14.7 drivers for Linux were reputed to be the best and fastest.  I replaced the card with a new one and had the same result.

The last time I had a stable sgminer build was pre-November '14 and the accompanying Neoscrypt craze.  The latest Linux sgminer binaries give the same results; card 0 dies.       --scryptr

Same problem here, slot 0 doesn't hash with 14.12 drivers. It does hash with 14.9 or lower..

WTS Kit for mining Zifrt by GPU.
2Mh from 280x (1100-1500)
1btc

kit contains .exe and .bin for 270-280-290
NO SOURCE CODE

 Cheesy Hilarious.

They're going to release a gpu miner, that's a fact. it doesn't matter if it's today, or tomorrow, or even next week.

No one will pay you for it, knowing that the devs will release one anyway (for free) and also for not knowing if they will have an advantage over everyone for more then a month or so. Not even a big ass farmer..

2MH on a 280x? you do realize that that isn't that good?

Good luck with that..
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Announcing ZiftrCOIN Release on: March 26, 2015, 07:38:35 PM
So what's going on with GPU miner now? Is it released yet?
if you have some knowledge about programing take source code from jackpotcoin https://github.com/djm34/sgminer-jpc sgminer make some modifications, will recieve gpu miner for ziftrcoin... profit ))

In JPC, there are 9 kernels executed there that don't need to be for the hash, per hash. I think there's a better way, at least on Hawaii and newer.

And 99.5% here open that kernel file and are like: Wtf is this..  Undecided Huh

So what's going on with GPU miner now? Is it released yet?

They posted on Reddit, saying they're delayed, but I don't know what caused it. Anyway, if you want some news, I was told about 3 days ago that the AMD GPU miner did about 1.7MH/s on a 280X. That miner also used a godawful amount of host memory. I say that I was told, because I didn't bother trying it. Tongue

I dropped the memory usage to about 9% of what it was while I properly did the ZR5 algo. Current pushed and tested code gets around 2.8MH/s on a 7950, clocked at 1000/1250. In-development, bleeding-edge code on my HDD gets 3MH/s on the same.

I tested this one on Windows myself, to ensure it worked, as many miners use Windows. Screenshot of stable(ish) version running on a 7950, 290X, and 285 (NSFW): https://ottrbutt.com/miner/zr5wolf-03242015-2.png
Nice hashrate u got there Smiley. Any chance we get the hands on you ziftr miner, when the official mining wallet is released of course :?

I'm guessing it will be in the official mining wallet.
I really hope so Smiley

You do? "Inside" a wallet... Yeah that sounds so great  Undecided

Hashrate keeps going up, not much longer and we're htting 2GH, All those CPU's! Wow!  Roll Eyes

Anyone help me with this ? minerd "http request failed failed connect the requested url returned returned error 403" been getting it all morning on all pools

you're probably setting: "stratum+tcp://" change that to "http://" Smiley

When GPU miner will be released price will fall .....
Yeah, because botnet masters tend to keep mined coins

Gotta love some decent Sarcasm Smiley

Okay, i just received my card.

I think i'm one of the last that got one of those.

So in other words, he's a fair person and not a "scammer", my apologies for assuming that!

He said that the product and service is no longer being produced/offered. Are you still able to reload the card?

Received my deposit. Card is working perfectly.

Quick question:
what hash speed can I get with AMD R9 290 on X11 algo?

With 280x I get 6,6 mh/s with wolf's bins, how much more can I get with 290?

Thanks.
i get 8.5 mh/s on 290 and 9.0 mh/s on 290x with 1040/1500 clocks

Can you give me your conf for 290?

This will give you 8.5Mh

      "gpu-engine": "1050",
      "gpu-memclock": "1500",

      "gpu-powertune": "50"

 Wink

Thks!!! 8.3Mh R9 290 and Thnks to Good guy Wolf too

which use drivers?

.bin is pre-generated, so it doesn't really matter, but to be safe, try 14.6-9 (or on windows 14.7 or something :p
912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Announcing ZiftrCOIN Release on: March 18, 2015, 03:50:07 PM
This is pointless mining with single cpu 640kh/s is getting me around 2 coins aday and the pools are full of people with 3mh/s to 60mh/s with network speed of 750mh/s+. has that botnet moved onto solo mining ? We need to GPU sooner than next wednesday

If you look closely, they just split up accounts.. All those (well most of those) anonymous accounts are botnet/AWS/... users.. "especially those with a high hashrate.."

You can never stop these kind of things.

There are always users with more and better equipment. I know it's harsh sometimes, i too only get like 2-5 coins a day with 2 xeons running..
But what i get, i have.

We will just have to accept the fact that we're never going to get rich doing this. And we just need to keep having fun Smiley That's what it's all about (for me at least) Smiley

why dont you closs this thread ? so it dont come up again and again by someone replying it ?
It is best to keep this thread open incase it was a scam, victims want to communicate.

Typical, i ordered one, payed him, very friendly, he would send it to me last monday, sent him a mail today, no response, checked the thread and he's gone.. Hasn't been online in the past 2 days so i guess i'm officially scammed :-p

Oh Well, no change for my local hobo's for a week  Cool Cheesy

Hello dear,

So this is an official scam thread and you give up to your money?
You make a big mistake and you know it,
I send you PM,please reply me.

What do you want me to do?

It's 40 dollars or so.. i know it's not nothing, but i'm not going to feel bad about it..

I know his name, i just checked and he's on Facebook, so in theory, i can pursue it, stalk the guy, go to his house and ring his door, asking for my 40$..   Cool

But that's not even worth it.

Don't bother man. It's only money.

I know where he lives, because he bought something with his CC for me when I paid him in BTC.

I don't think he is a scammer.
I think he was shut down by a hacker and did not want to admit it.
Or he was blackmailed by the police or govornment to shut down.

He emailed me on this form saying the bank is closing the accounts, and told me to bring my account balance to zero.
He did not say why when I asked.
The bank is NOT closing the accounts.  The website says nothing of the sort and the card still have $1 on it, active.
A bank would NEVER ask people to zero their accounts.  They would fold or not fold.
Something else happened he is not telling us.

IF that is so, then he could perfectly refund me and keep his honor and reputation.

And a simple e-mail explaining things would have done a lot. I did not receive anything....

But again, c'est la vie...

Gotta get me one of those for sure!

Is that electrical or petrol? ;-)
920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Announcing ZiftrCOIN Release on: March 10, 2015, 12:55:44 PM
This coin does so well on CPU . If we only had more CPU coins the world would be much more better Smiley  Grin GPU farmers are waiting like tigers !

Why? There are more people with gpu's, there are less people with big cpu rigs. Almost nobody got rigs with cpu's. What means all the cpu mined coins go to a few people, while many people got gpu's / gpu rigs.

Plenty of GPU coins out there, why is it a problem if something can be mined with CPU only ?!

For me its not a problem, i like cpu-only coins. but if u read this topic, the rumors say that people using the GPU for this coin. where an simple 280x gpu get a speed from almost 10x higher then my I7 CPU... that's why i also want to mine with gpu's. Its not fair if some people can use there GPU for this coin while the rest are using the CPU with low speed incompare with an simple GPU.

AND if this was CPU only, what is supposed to be, i just told you the problem. There are some people with nice servers and a full load of cpu's i prefer to have 50 people(aka: 50x gpu rigs) with many coins then 5 people(aka: 5x cpu rigs) with many coins. those 5 people can destroy the coin easier then 50 people Smiley

If that is true then maybe we should stay away from this coin, fair-play in start is what make a stable future for coin...

edit: I must repeat myself IF THAT IS TRUE because rumors doesn't necessarily mean that there is a GPU miner, but who knows ...

Rumors.... But it's kind of obvious... Net hashrate had gone up even more now, almost 500Mhash.. :-)
