902  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to explain blockchain/Bitcoin to millennials on: May 28, 2019, 02:33:31 PM
Hi, I'm not new to bitcoin & blockchain and I'm a full time trader with quite a little knowledge on tech background. I do trade cryptocurrency coins and studied a lot on blockchain technology. But I have a question, I always stumbled across this in my mind when people ask me why blockchain is the future, why should you care and buy?  Anybody can give me some tips and answer for this?

Would appreciate it.

Millennials: Born 1981-1996 (22-37 years old)
People around 22-37 are probably the most keen on what bitcoin is, You should learn how to explain it to a 5th grader, so seniors and kids can learn, here is my explanation.

Bitcoin is a limited coin, It is like gold but on the computer, think of it like digital or electronic gold. There will only ever be 21 million bitcoins. It is also a record keeping book, Kind of how a bank keeps your
inputs and transfers, bitcoin has the same mechanism but instead of the banks having the book, everyone has the same book that is updated at the the same time. No one can alter the book unless 51% of censuses
of the network agrees to alter the book.

Bitcoin made it so we no longer needs banks, We are the banks. Bitcoin`s is the currency of this bank some people call the smaller divisions satoshi`s. Blockchain is the technology behind bitcoin. You can buy anything with bitcoin so it is just as real as cash or fiat money. Fiat money is a $cam, it actually en$laves you endlessly. At least at the end of 21 million bitcoin, the bankers cannot keep en$laving you, they will have to work to obtain their bitcoins back.

Money used to be backed by peoples work, which was represented by Gold. Than in 1971, the entire world became slaves https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRzr1QU6K1o Thanks Nixon!
First they stole all the Gold, They went into peoples houses and jacked it from them, then they banned it from backing the dollar! so they stole from everyone.

So son or daughter? what backs that cad/usd in your pocket?
It is Delusion, no different than monopoly money.

Is this supposed to be funny?
I don't see any humor. You forgot to mention "random Japanese guy" because Satoshi has a Japanese name,so many idiots think he might be from Japan. Grin

I think a Chinese guy would think If I pretend to be Japanese they will not know I am Chinese. We call it that old switcharoo.
Li Ka-shing real Satoshi confirmed?

https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/report-links-74-bitcoin-mining-china-sees-threat-network/
I think it is 81% now the hashing power in China.

If they splice the network will it be called a fork? or a chopstick up?

Being a farmer I see a lot of use in blockchain. What if there was timed tokens (that expire)?
Let`s say I scan 500 baskets of cherries, I know even in a cold storage the cherries have two weeks max to be eaten, 1 or 2 days if left out in the warm. We could create coins for all the baskets that expire in two weeks to help keep inventory`s in check, or apples they can last up to a year depending on the kind in a cold storage, actually most apples you eat are from last year in most places. We could timestamp those with a expiration coin for 10 months or whatever.

When I go to the market I could know what I am bringing on to the truck and what I have sold when I am done, right now all the farmers just do this by counting baskets to see if the workers have ripped them off, which many do. All packaged dates could be automated by machines now, to rid the old rotten fruit from the public. In fact we should make a coin for all the resources.

I see use in timed/expiration date/duration coins/tokens for self sustaining society's when trading lots of goods or to do with goods that are perishable.

4. The only currency that matters (I believe this to be 2-3 generations away).
Thanks for the cool thread  Cool

I believe by 2025, We will be using bitcoin over fiat or gold, and people will measure time into it. Why because this year on my farm I am only accepting bitcoin or time payments, Other farmers will join me.
No problem, Thanks for the cool answers.

910  Other / Off-topic / Did Fiat buy Fiat shares and become Fiat? on: May 25, 2019, 07:14:35 PM
On January 21, 2014, Fiat bought the remaining shares of Chrysler owned by the VEBA worth $3.65 billion. Several days later, the intended reorganization of Fiat and Chrysler under a new holding company, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, together with a new FCA logo were announced. ... Shares dropped 2.2% after the announcement.

Did Fiat Buy Fiat shares and become Fiat?

Also you think this was to help slow down the word usage of fiat? like misdirect it? or just coincidence that a company name fiat bought Chrysler.
911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Learn About A Fellow Bitcoiner on: May 25, 2019, 05:07:43 PM
I want to make bitcoin a change in my country, where it will compete internationally. As many people hope, only requires that bitcoin be recognized anywhere.

I want to see Bitcoin being accepted as a regular currency and I want to see it being used as a payment for anything.

What do you wish to see bitcoin become?
I want to see it as a major currency which is adopted as huge businesses and merchants.

I want Bitcoin to become a standard, the new USD, so to speak. If there's a way to make Bitcoin as money possible, I am all for it. If not, then Bitcoin could replace gold and be something people hold as an investment.

I think the more people we talk to about it the better, so if you have spare time, try and alert people of bitcoin and blockchains possibility`s, this will help all your causes, even if you just want the price to go up. The more people that learn about it the better. I have had like 30 conversations this month at least with just random people who don`t even know anything about it or anything about how money is created. Every little bit helps. Ask the cashier every time you buy something from the store, do you accept bitcoin payment? do it enough they will look into it and start accepting it probably.
912  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Learn About A Fellow Bitcoiner on: May 25, 2019, 01:00:00 PM
Hello people, I am interested about learning about people within the community of Bitcoin and Blockchain. So I have some questions to learn more about you. Feel free to share your experiences.

1. How has bitcoin/blockchain changed your life?
2. What kind of work do you do?
3. What kind of work do you wish you could do?
4. What do you wish to see bitcoin become?

I`ll start.

1. It has changed my life in many different ways, After learning about the genesis block and the message it contained it really had me thinking about banks and money. Blockchain really made me think my life is a blockchain and everything I do, every thought I have is timestamped in time forever. I can`t lie anymore, I went back and fixed all my mistakes. It made me a completely new man and changed my entire perspective on life.

2. I am a jack of all trades, farmer, roofer, bricklayer, streamer and pro gamer, currently I am trying to get good a future e sport warcraft 3 reforged while I increase my knowledge of blockchain case uses, just for fun as a hobby. I will be farming again when I get enough to fix my tractor, feeding people makes my life have a purpose, I create creations and feed those creations to people who can create more creations, even if it is just poo.

3. I wish I could fly drones in space and map the universe for us, I like stuff that deals with psychology and astrology, so something like that.

4. I wish Bitcoin replaces gold and time/duration replaces fiat, and we trade time/duration coins into bitcoin. I wish that the united nations unites to become the United Nation and we have bitcoin as are global reserve currency. I wish somehow Bitcoin evolves into the government, courts and laws, I hope somehow we can add a tx fee that goes to support public projects like space exploration, garabage, food, water and shelters for every person, Run by everyone and voted upon by everyone where the funds go that are in the censuses of the network, Not run by who has the most cpu power or most cpu`s but ran by each user on the network.

Anyways, hope to hear from some other member's, feel free to lie about your work if you don`t like giving personal details or just skip that question, Have a wonderful day everyone.

I don`t understand this stuff I am a farm boy, I work, plant seed, create life, create value, bring it to market, sell for scam money that I buy other stuff with, sometimes I just trade the fruit for other stuff. I don`t understand all this stuff, please helpa me.

As the tweet explains, Trump's comments tend to keep stock prices from rising too high or falling too low.

The prices of bank shares are becoming more stable. The article states that the increased stability makes bank stocks more appealing to more investors.

How does a Trump`s comments have anything to do with a stock price from rising or lowering, that he does not even own?
A bank share? How does a bank have shares? Increased stability? Why in 2008 was there a banker bailout? How does a bank need a bailout?

I am still confused.

915  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: BitCrack - A tool for brute-forcing private keys on: May 24, 2019, 10:40:46 PM
wait I just thought of something, what if you made it so you can only use someones address in which device it was created from or certain devices you allowed. Like if I tried to make a trillion^22 addresses and got someones on my wallet.dat it still would not work even if I had there private key and public address because It was not the device that created the address. Like a picture of satoshi pops up and gives you the finger or something. I mean something needs to be done. I dunno I am a not a coder man guy dude.

Have you tried to multi box millions of these scripts at the same time? and have them in cahoots with each other so they don`t try the same key Roll Eyes
If you had slush pools cpu power it would not take long you could probably run a trillion at the same time and if they are storing used keys to a blockchain or data base, it will cut the time down by a shit load.

It's been done.

https://lbc.cryptoguru.org/trophies

It has found several keys in the (very) low range of 256 bit integers, but to search the entire space is essentially impossible.

ohh that rico666 is the same guy as DannyHamilton I am pretty sure, both last login march 10th around the same time.  I wonder why dooglus is on his block list, dooglus is a cool dood.
He has a pool to get private keys? Shit is crazy. We need blockPOP Proof of person, fingerprint and eye captcha keys pronto.

Heck I would jerk off into the blockchain and give it my sperm if it made my keys safe, give some blood, spit on my computer and pee on it, if it meant stuff was more safe.
I would do a Breathalyzer that checked my carbon inprint to make sure it was me to unlock me wallet.

Is there a hot wallet like private key mixer thing? so it keeps changing your keys every second?
