901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not only for criminals/bad people and get rich quick! on: June 16, 2020, 11:41:59 AM
Bitcoin is good for both sides, simple use bitcoin for bad things, just like in the dark market, but good sides of using bitcoin are more powerful compared to those bad things. Some are using bitcoin for investing and trading which is legal to do, both things are good at earning money but so risky especially for beginners who don't have enough knowledge of doing so. There are also some people who use bitcoin for the online transaction which uses bitcoin for paying purposes.

Actually, most of the people that use bitcoin have good intentions because if it's not true I think bitcoin would not live so long.
902  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to Differentiate Between Trader and Investor on: June 16, 2020, 08:56:04 AM
Investors and traders are both needed of the crypto world, it maintains the circulation of the bitcoin which is what bitcoin needs.

Investors are simply those people who keep their money for short term or long term, they have to wait for the price of the bitcoin to increase and get profit, it is just simply pulling out your investment or assets into fiat when the price of the bitcoin gets high.

Traders are more complicated than investors and it really risky for me compared to investors, they are the ones who buy and sell cryptocurrency or do exchanging.

903  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The cure for Covid-19 is right here. on: June 12, 2020, 08:06:24 AM
Is this for real? I am always watching the news on T.V and they are always updated on the information about COVID-19 but I haven't heard something about a cure, maybe the cure that you are talking about is not yet tested because there is still no cure for this virus, if people will only follow what government says, this virus will go but the hard thing is if they will be sitting at their home and will not do something to feed their family they will also die from hunger.

1. Is dice a kind of cryptocurrency?
Yes it is, check this out.
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/etheroll
Its ticker is DICE and currently traded on Hitbtc exchange and using erc20 network blockchain.

1.1 if yes, what wallet can I use to store this crypto currency?
You can use mew or any wallet that supports erc20 tokens.

But if you are referring to yobit free dice tokens then its not the one I sent you cause the dice that on CMC has blockchain that you can store somewhere unlike that dice from yobit you that you can only store only on their own website. Its not even a cryptocurrency I guess if its only available on Yobit for trading.
Can I exchange dice from other cryptocurrency? If possible how can I do it? Thank yoi in advance.
907  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need help! on: June 09, 2020, 07:35:35 AM
Are you referring to dice token from Yobit exchange? If so, I think it has no blockchain or no wallet to store this cryptocurrency. Yobit creates such token which has no real existence other than their exchange.

Yes it is from yobit.net, I tried trading using other cryptocurrency on yobit, but I dont know how can I trade dice, can you help me about it?

911  Other / Beginners & Help / Things I have learned from this forum. on: June 04, 2020, 05:43:41 AM
I m so thankful that I had reached now the Junior member, thanks for all the people who help me from reaching this rank, yesterday, I was only a newbie rank in this forum then upon opening my account, it feels so good seeing that I am now Jr. Member, I've started joining this forum on May 11, and now it's already June 4, so thankful that I get this rank for almost a month, so I just wanna share my journey to all of you guys.

I joined this forum because it is a recommended forum of my friend, saying that I should try it to become more familiar with the crypto world, at first I really don't know what to do, so I started to read some threads, I found the board of beginners and help, this is so helpful for me because I have seen so many information regarding the forum information, rules, rank system, etc.

There is a disappointment when I created a thread and got deleted, I was wondering the reason of deleting my posts, but upon thinking, I realized that this forum is not like other forums, this forum only accepts quality and good posts. It is really different from the forum that I have tried before which is the cryptotalk.

Because of this forum, I tried investing and trading bitcoins, I failed on trading because of being lack of knowledge, at first, I really think that it is really easy to earn money from trading because of what I have watched on YouTube, but upon trying it, you'll realize how hard to earn from that, greediness will make you lose. Whenever I am winning, the urge of earning more money always hits me so I always don't quite so I also ended up losing the money. Investing is really worth it for me, it helps me to save and earn money, I find it more safe than trading.

This forum teaches me

1. Put efforts - I am really happy whenever I received merits, but getting it is not easy, so I should put efforts whenever I created a thread, so it would become more useful for other people.

2. Be creative - be unique, explain well the things you want to say.

3. Be patient - do not be greedy all the time, readiness will lead you on the wrong path, always wait for the right time. (When to trade or to invest)

4. Be responsible - whenever you joined on a forum, do something to contribute, that is your responsibility as a member of the forum.

5. Learn from your mistakes - whenever you received bad comments on your thread, don't be sad, maybe that is there a way to help you. Put those negative comments on your mind and think about how are you going to fix it.

6. Respect each other - I always see some replies on some threads and they are suggesting what to do in a good way, there are also some people who are answering other's questions with respect.

915  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Reasons Why I Have Lost 50% Of Bitcoin on: May 31, 2020, 04:21:58 AM
Thanks for sharing your story, it would be a lesson for all the beginners here who are planning to do trading someday, they should know that trading is risk-taking, they should try it if they don't want to lose their money.

Knowledge and skills are really important when you do trading, beginners mostly end up losing when they try it without enough knowledge on it. It is better to do holding when you are a beginner you at just going to wait for the bitcoin to goes high so your money would have profit someday
Thats why holding is much better than trading for persons without experience in it
Well said, but investing is also risk-taking, they shouldn't try it without enough knowledge, better to have enough knowledge and skills before trying both easy of earning money.
916  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Online challenge, test your knowledge about the forum rules on: May 30, 2020, 08:34:54 AM
This is somehow related to this Bitcointalk game, but anyway nice job buddy, you are giving chance to the beginners to know more about the forum. It's better compared to some other games because aside from the entertainment it is also informative, which is what we really need in this quarantine.

I just like to appreciate the color combination, it's great, whenever we are going to create a game or quiz we should consider our clients(age) and I don't think that there are no young people in this forum, that is why the color combination is good, it's not that irritating.
917  Other / Off-topic / How to get rid of a computer virus. on: May 29, 2020, 11:19:27 AM
Are you having a problem with securing your computer? Having a secured and virus-free of a computer is really important especially if we are using our computer for some of our transactions online.

Computer viruses are always there if you are not using antivirus you wouldn't know whether you have one, so it is really advisable to install anti-virus protection on our computer or even on some of our devices.

Here are some steps to get rid of computer viruses:
1. Download and install a virus scanner - Download a virus scanner or complete internet security solution, it keeps an eye on all the files that enter your system.

2. Disconnect from internet - if you are removing virus on your computer, you should disconnect first the internet, most of the virus came from the internet.

3. Reboot your computer into safe mode - you should reboot your computer in safe mode when removing the virus.
Here are some steps to make it safe mode:
Quote
1. Turn your computer off and on again
2. When the screen lights, press F8 to bring up the ‘Advanced boot options’ menu
3. Click ‘Safe Mode with Networking’
4. Remain disconnected from the internet

4. Delete any temporary files - use Disk clean up to delete any temporary files.
Here's how to do this:
Quote
1. Click the Windows logo on the right bottom
2. Type “Temporary Files”
3. Choose “Free up disk space by deleting unnecessary files”
4. Find and select “Temporary Internet Files” in the ‘Files to delete’ Disk Cleanup list and click OK
5. Confirm “Delete Files” selection

5. Run a virus scan - Now it is time to run a virus scan using your chosen anti-virus or internet security software, the anti virus is really important to choose the best antivirus if you can.

6. Delete or quarantine the virus - If a virus is found, it may affect multiple files. Select ‘Delete’ or ‘Quarantine’ to remove the file(s) and get rid of the virus. Rescan your computer to check there are no further threats. If threats are found, quarantine or delete the files.

7. Reboot your computer - now, if you think that the virus has deleted, you can reboot your computer. Simply turn it on as you would normally. It no longer needs to be in ‘Safe Mode’.

8. Update your software, browser, and operating system - this is the very important thing, we should always update our software as well as the operating system, hose outdated software leads on having a virus.

Having a secured computer would make us comfortable that our transactions online are safe, it is really important especially when you are keeping important files on your computer Smiley.
918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is good strategy or technique for Toss Coin? on: May 29, 2020, 10:43:29 AM
I don't think that there are some strategies that you can do to win the coin tossing, the probability of winning that game is 50% because of having only 2 outputs so I don't think that we can have strategies to assure to win the game, but it would be different if you are the one who will toss the game,

If you are the coin tosser:
1. Practice - just practice the formation and the power of tossing the coins, I know that it's not easy to practice because it is a needed 100% accurate force of the thumb and your position towards the landing place. Practice makes it perfect Grin.
919  Other / Meta / Re: [GAME] Bitcointalk game on: May 29, 2020, 09:31:12 AM
Nice one OP, the good thing about it is that it is about informative games, you are not only entertained you also learned something from it.

I have tried the game and this is the result:

I just want to appreciate some features of the game:
1. The game is really friendly - user because it is not that hard to play and understand how we are going to use it,
2. The GUI is so great as well, the combination of color is not that intimidating.
3. One thing that I want is I hope that we could see the right answer once we had chosen the wrong one.
But anyway, great job OP Cheesy
920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My 0.1 BTC Journey on: May 29, 2020, 09:13:33 AM
That's great, we should not stop dreaming to have only 0.1 BTC, in order for us to be the successful person we should dream high. But always know our limitations, being greedy would make us failed.

Investment is really good, aside of saving our money we also make it profitable. Instead of spending it on other things try to use it for investment, it would help us for our future.

Have a look with this thread, a boy who have $1000 at the age of 12 and became rich at the age of 19, it would motivate you to invest your money: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5249576.msg54460219#msg54460219
