901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Irresponsible behavior at the Las Vegas Casino on: July 29, 2023, 10:17:25 AM
A man run naked in a Las Vegas casino (Linq Casino) and jumped on the poker table and started to dance. He was arrested instantly by the security, however his family says that he was drunk and therefore he did such type of act.

More details can be read here Naked Gyrating Guy Arrested at Harrah’s Las Vegas Was Drugged, Family Claims

The point here is why gamblers do such shameless acts and what the rules of the casino suggest the penality for these acts. Do you think the gambler did it purposefully perhaps to become popular in the headlines  Huh
What will be his gain going naked in public? Have you ever read about a naked person trending online and becoming a star doing so? It's so disgusting and when that alcohol cleared off he will know he messed up.

There is nothing much to discuss about this topic, and I don't want to believe that this man do this intentionally, there is nothing he will gain out of it, and since this is a casino things like this will happen few times in a year, if one is not running naked, other will choose violence inside the casino, that's why they have guards in every corner.
902  Economy / Gambling / Re: Exploring the Math Behind Crash on: July 29, 2023, 09:02:53 AM
Higher multiplier strategy is better? You are just sharing us the video, I respect that, but have you try crash game yourself? Why believe in what the video is saying when you haven't give it a try first?

I won't buy that idea of using high multiplier, you will keep losing money still, Crash is fun and engaging but it's very annoying additionally, math? Hmm, I just pity anyone that takes this suggestion exceptionally.

Anyway, you tried, thanks for sharing the video but many are familiar with the game and either a low or high multiplier, they all get burned.
903  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'll always tell people about bitcoin on: July 29, 2023, 08:15:01 AM
I have problem with people about Bitcoin that's why I limit spreading anything about Bitcoin to others, I was not alone when I was struggling and after my first success through Crypto few friends that we went to same school came to me for some Bitcoin lesson, I believe I got lucky with them because they don't care much about the risk.

But there are some certain number of people that I shouldn't have introduce to Bitcoin, I did the right thing by telling them all the risk and when to buy Bitcoin, also what type of money is good for buying Bitcoin but now they failed to keep up, they are already tired of holding, after just 1 year and few months they want to sell.

Before this even happen, they have been asking me when the price will go up, and I get sick of it, I reminded them that I told them somewhere around 2025 but they pretended to never remember that part, I am pretty sure most of them sold their Bitcoin already, and I will wait for that long to show they how profitable patience can be.
904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there an good site for Chinese? on: July 27, 2023, 08:47:43 AM
Gambling is banned in China? Damn, I don't even know this until now, but I haven't seen any one casino that ban China citizen, I would have recommend VPN but it's not needed at all, try few casinos that are available on this forum first and see like Livecasino.io and Fortunejack or even Roobet, I am certain they put no restriction on China citizens.

If you are still feeling concerned then use a premium VPN like ExpressVPN, you can keep to one IP address using this VPN, I believe that is very important because online casinos don't like using different IPs and location, so adjust the settings and stick with a location with same IP address.
905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: As a gambler do you have a potential winning amount limit? on: July 26, 2023, 08:09:12 AM
I have lost more money to gambling, more than I have ever won back, this is what makes me forget the winning amount side of thing and concentrate on how much I can afford to lose, nobody likes losing money buy that depends on how much we talking about here, there are some amount that won't do you anything if you lose them and again there is a chance that you might win too.

I prefer making some small gain because I used small amount of money to gamble than using large amount with the hope of making a larger amount of money, even if it's just a 1.5x return I am very satisfied with this.

Things will be more harder for anyone who has no other source of income and instead of looking for one they see gambling as a job or business, this is a wrong idea.
906  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if salaries were paid in BTC on: July 26, 2023, 07:17:24 AM
Salaries coming from the government pocket is a No, it's never going to work, but if you are working in tech companies that belong to private personnel then you can bring up the idea of getting paid in Bitcoin and that is left for the owner to accept.

Some jobs online pay their workers in Bitcoin but not all of them, some have the option to choose which payment method you prefer.

The government has no reason to pay its people in decentralized digital money, that's like a slap to their faces.

If you are a big store owner or business owner you can start accepting Bitcoin payments, It makes my Bitcoin accumulation to be more easier instead of buying directly using Fiat.
907  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bundle exchange announces their cease of operation on: July 26, 2023, 06:31:57 AM
I've never used Bundle before but a couple of friends around me use that platform, it's sad seeing them going out of business but there is a hope of coming back some day, anyway there are many options like Bundle out there today.

Binance, Huobi and Luno still supports NGN currency and there are even more less popular P2P platforms too, but these are the few ones I trust.

Crypto projects and crypto businesses face some hardship as we keep getting deeper into every bear market, and this prevents them from running their businesses. It has always happened in every bear market.
908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: He Committed Suicide After Losing School fees, And That Of Friend To Betting.. on: July 26, 2023, 05:55:40 AM
Gambling is not to be blamed but the gamblers, using money that's not yours or money that's meant to settle other inescapable things in life is stupidity.

How deep can supervision on children goes? There will be times where you won't be able to monitor them, you can't go to school with them, you can't sit beside them in the lecture room,  there are enough time for good kids to turn bad and pretend they are good when coming home, this is why some people always say that God is the only person that can guide your children right, if a kid is going to be a bad kid there is no amount of discipline will stop the kid from going bad.

There are some parents that don't care about their kids but even those who have the time are not going to get perfect result from their children, you have to make money with your time to be able to pay for school fees and help your family, there is no way you can keep an eye on them around the clock, while you are trying, keep praying for them to choose the right path.
We cannot accompany or monitor where our children are going or what they are doing, but we can tell them everything about kindness so they can think. Humans are given reason to think, especially if their parents often provide good examples so that their children can think about why their father did that and what impact it will have and others.

By giving instructions or suggestions to their children, I think it can help their children to think before doing something and they won't go beyond what they shouldn't do. And while his father also pointed out that gambling was a thing that could destroy his life, his sons also would not go anywhere near gambling and would not even use other people's money to gamble.
You are right but....

1. Not all children will respond the same way if we talk to them about how things should be in their life.

2. Some of them like learning after they take the wrong path.

I wouldn't be saying this if it hasn't happened already, someone in my family did the same thing to his father, who always warned him about gambling, and even used another person in the family who ruined his life as an example, and the son pretend to learn from it, later this son use his parent credit card to gamble online and wasted everything.

He couldn't go back to school and he cried his eyes out, full of regrets when I saw him, he hated himself for not listening all along, I can't help but shed tears myself because the parents are struggling, they can't afford much.
909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: He Committed Suicide After Losing School fees, And That Of Friend To Betting.. on: July 25, 2023, 10:07:45 AM
First, you think suicide is never an option, regardless of depression. This shows courage but ignores the hardships some people suffer. I agree that gambling addiction ensnares many. To claim it's unavoidable? That's like saying a poor hair day is lifelong! Even the most stubborn addictions can be overcome. Sorry about your online betting issues. Like a leaky ship, right? You can win if you realize you're more than your losses. Like a duck, let losses slide off your back and paddle hard under the surface!

I still don't know how manipulative it is for one to gamble with their school fee.
Now my question is; Is the bettor upto the minimal age requirement to gamble?
Because I know too well that responsible gambler would never gamble with his or their school fee after knowing too well about the principles of gambling, and of one gambling with what they could be able to lose instead of using a whole lots of school fees to gamble thinking they would strike a harder winning maybe doubling their school fees.
This is a wrong choice and the parent need to watch there children or take a very important steps in ensuring that they monitor there children so that they will not be lured into doing something that is not right. It is very wrong for a children especially a student to go into gambling when they are not even upto 18 years or more. Every countries had the proper age a person must reach before thinking of gambling. This days that we have online casinos, it is more convenient for school children to go into gambling even without the parent suspecting anything from the child and make Children are the ones that normally gamble.
Supervision from parents is needed so that their children are not provoked into doing something that can get them into trouble. But the problem now is that many parents are so busy with their work that they forget to watch over their children, so there is much juvenile delinquency around us.

Maybe the age limit for children is not yet 18 years old or gambling is not allowed. But with so many online casinos nowadays, they can just play gambling online and use fake identities to register. The availability of an internet network everywhere makes it easier for them to play gambling. This requires serious attention from parents to supervise their children even though they are very busy working.

910  Economy / Economics / Re: How is financial stability defined for you? on: July 25, 2023, 09:07:03 AM
Financial stability is the nonstop incoming of money, and its left for you to use the money to add more value to your life and it's future but I think financial freedom is the best, that's talking about the future you, where you will be at the time and how much money you have in retirement.

If I can make a million dollar now I won't have to work very hard anymore, I will just keep investing my money and holding valuable assets, more money till the last day on earth, so I believe there is a different between financial stability and freedom, not the same.
911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can a person buy a hardware wallet where crypto is ban? on: July 25, 2023, 08:09:03 AM
Hardware wallets are not picture frames where you need to display them, if you are having some Bitcoin and you travel down to a country where Bitcoin is banned, all you need to do is keep your recovery seed, don't go around looking for stores that can accept Bitcoin payment, Bitcoin holding has to be secretive, if you don't tell anyone they won't know.

When Bitcoin was ban in my country and I have a bad hardware wallet in my car safe with some USB drives I remember I was stopped and searched by the force but they don't even know what a hardware wallet looks like, they opened the safe in my car and they close it back, all are USB drives to them.

If someone you know talk about bitcoin in a country where it's banned, it's not wrong to deny knowing what Bitcoin is, this is for your own safety.
912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Other Things You Can Bet on Aside Sports and Casino Games on: July 25, 2023, 07:20:41 AM
Alot of them here on this list I had no idea that they could be utilitized for gambling. I have heard of some crazy ones like the sex sport, betting on who's going to win the presidential election etc but for some they really are crazy, take "celebrity death for example" how the heck are they supposed to know the celebrity that's going to die next? It doesn't sound rational to me though others might be of a different opinion but I just stated mine while some of them are just place there and it's almost certain that no one is going to win the prize take UFO as an example.
If you continue in this rabbithole you'll discover so many strange things that bets are being made on, this ones are just like the tip of the iceberg.

Imagine betting on when a celebrity will die and the bettor failing to wake up the next day, Betting on someone's life is very dangerous for the bettors because death is a spirit too, it could just decide to take your life for having that gut to bet on someone else life, how dare you? Lol

It's crazy and annoying what people are turning into all in the name of fun, it's still very hard to make the right predictions on online casinos and some people are behaving inhumanely towards their fellow beings.

Anyone doing this is looking for the wrath of GOD, you are passing your boundary as a human being, I won't dare bets on someone's life when I don't even know when my time will be up.
913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greed can cause a lost bet, (true or false) on: July 24, 2023, 09:36:16 AM
That's a very small amount and that shows that you aren't greedy, because it's gambling after all, with $2+ you are free to keep trying your luck because this is a sign that you are a responsible gambler.

A greedy gambler will use what they can't afford to lose, money they won't be able to recover from, just because they want to get a particular figure.

Also, I heard that this online casino is a bad one, start using platforms that high-rank members are promoting, I am currently promoting Fortune Jack and I also gamble on the platform myself, so I can say it's safe, there are others too, just DYOR.
914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Deposit limits on: July 24, 2023, 08:57:41 AM
Everyone can set a daily limit on any platform but is it going to be effective and make everyone gamble responsibly? Nah, and it's also adjustable, it's good though but been disciplined doesn't end with daily limit availability on online casinos, gambling rsponbile starts within the gamblers themselves.

Casinos trying to help? Well thank you but it's still about the money, about the gambler's losses.

Learn to be disciplined from within and not through anything else, gamble responsible using your very own strategy, it's not hard unless you made it seem so, get used to using what you can only afford to lose.
915  Economy / Economics / Re: Federal Reserve launches FedNow instant payment service on: July 24, 2023, 08:02:54 AM
Only for American citizens, if the FedNow service is considered it can be a convenience.

the Fed stated that FedNow Service is similar to other payment services, such as Fedwire and FedACH, which work within the boundaries of the fiat ecosystem. It said:

The Federal Reserve further confirmed that it has not yet decided on issuing the highly anticipated CBDC and “would only proceed with the issuance of a CBDC with an authorizing law.”

Seems like this could be a good thing for people living in the USA. If I could send money using this thing internationally to anyone why would I need bitcoin?
Come on bro. You have to learn again to distinguish between Bitcoin and fiat.
Many great people in the world recognize the ease of transacting with Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is not the same as fiat currency. Learn how fiat currency systems and functions, don't just use it.
FedNow service is not related to a digital currency? Noted, but when people start using FedNow service and CBDC join the chain this will open the eye of many into Bitcoin, something stats obviously better than FedNow and CBDC combined.

FedNow will be eye-opening to decentralization, it looks like it's not going to favor crypto right now but it will eventually because some people who keep their distance from everything apart from Banks will start getting curious.

916  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Michael Saylor a modern apostle like Peter and Paul? on: July 24, 2023, 07:16:59 AM
Religion and investment? They don't go with each other, far from comparison OP, this is money matter and Saylor is just a smart guy when it comes to making money, whatever he predict my be wrong but also it can be intentional, somethings for new money to swim into an asset there must be some goal rumor that must be created, it's what I see with big Bitcoin investors calling 1million per Bitcoin, deep down they knew its not possible but if they tell the truth how are they going to cash out?

Crypto, stock and others are like chess games, if you know how to play it right, you will be among the few winners, Manipulation is real, even among the popular faces in crypto space.

Do not believe everything people say about Bitcoin on the news, most time it's manipulation, it's a brain game, have your own plan.
917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Teaching Bitcoin is not do or die on: July 23, 2023, 10:46:49 AM
The point here is not to force others to learn about bitcoin. When they really have no interest in bitcoin, whatever you do to pique their curiosity is counterproductive; sometimes it makes them hate it and look at you with eyes like you are a fin scammer. Change the subject immediately if they don't like it. Perhaps just teaching and guiding those who know how to find it will be a better thing. Anyway, we need to be effective, not cram for everyone.
In addition, we should not condemn too those people who show no interest to bitcoin. Simply because they have their own reasons and their own beliefs, hence they deserve respect too. And to think that it’s not our loss but them, so we should only focus sharing our insights only to those who are hunger to learn because for sure they will also promote it to their peers once they are knowledgeable enough to do it. Yes, teaching bitcoin is not a do or die, that’s why we should not force people to learn about bitcoin if they don’t have the will and interest to learn.

I agree, we have no right to condemn people who don't trust or do not show interest in Bitcoin.  Each person has their own preference, some may not trust a decentralized system since they are more comfortable under centralized government because they feel more secure when there is a third party assuring them of their safety especially when their financial assets have insurance that the decentralized network can't give.
I support, some people talk about those who don't show interest in Bitcoin as if they won't make it in life or as if they have a doomed future waiting for them, there are many ways out there that one can take to achieve the greatest financial freedom, everything must not be through Bitcoin investment only, it's why I don't support those saying we should teach kids about Bitcoin and how important it is, they should just know, but it's not important for the kids as if they won't make it without Bitcoin investment.

Our children are our future, they will grow up to solve problems that their old generations can't solve, many challenges are waiting for them and many in revealed innovations are still yet to come, Bitcoin is really not a do or die.
918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons to be attracted to Bitcoin on: July 23, 2023, 09:48:35 AM
Currently, there are more than 1000 cryptocurrencies in operation around the world. However, Bitcoin is the most popular in the exchange.Created by Satoshu Nakamoto, Bitcoin has a current market capitalization of several hundreds of billions of dollars.

The main reason why most people are attracted to Eptocurrency is that it offers huge profits with low investment.Again, if its value suddenly decreases, there is a possibility of loss.
If the value of Bitcoin ever decrease, there is a big possibility of making more money by investing more money, this is the way I see every dumps in the crypto space, and I don't blame newbies like you for getting scared of dumps, I have just been around for too long so I have finally understand that dumps is what should be your main target in crypto space if you want to tell your success stories later when a new bull market comes.

If you keep up with your believe it's only a matter of time, you will soon come to realize that bear market favors the brave more, while the whole world are running away from crypto investment because of dumps, they will make a come back when the price are surging again, this is the painful truth, and I am glad this is how it's going to play out, I mean who will pump the bags of early investors anyway?
919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: July 23, 2023, 08:58:49 AM
Everything boils down to emotion and greed some people do not know how to control their emotion and they don't also know how to control their greed. When they are in for it, there is absolutely nothing you can say unless they exhaust all the money on them before they will listen to you.

There is nothing wrong with gambling if it is done like a fun and not when the gambler uses all he has to do bet a particular game and which eventually when the outcome does not favour the gambler he will loose everything and plunge into emotional damage.
That's the story of almost every addicted gambler, they know no stopping until they have nothing left to gamble, and even then, they try to find a way to get more money only to continue gambling because the urge just doesn't leave their mind and keeps tickling and telling them that they will now win something big if they play just a little bit more, and that little bit more keeps getting stretched until they lose everything they've gathered once again.

Most people don't gamble for fun but they do it to earn money so that they don't need to work, I consider addicted gamblers lazy people because they want to use gambling as an excuse to not work to earn money and they want to earn a living through it which isn't possible.
I agree gambling addiction always leads to losses and it can never be a way of earning. Those who choose it as a means of earning a living are at risk because there is no guarantee of winnings in gambling, it depends entirely on luck. A lazy person can do nothing in life like any other hobby related to gambling, there are some problems and weekly people suffering from addiction lose huge amount of money, face financial problems, get into debt and can't stop betting in online casinos.
In my tribe a lazy person loves gambling more than hardworking and while growing up I started to see how true this is, if we think very well we will see that gambling suits those who are lazy more because all you have is pressing some buttons and numbers hoping you make millions, how can you start from scratch and build your way up with solid foundation when you believe that you can make millions in gambling instead?

It sound like the very way a lazy fellow will follow isn't it? Because gambling look like a easy way of getting rich for the fools who don't want to work and build themselves up, it's the same way the poor don't like the sound of long-term investment and honestly they are the ones lacking the most.
920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers Belief on: July 23, 2023, 08:28:37 AM
If you want to see a person full of hope and belief, then gamblers are the perfect example. The hope of winning and the belief to win is found in gambling. Even if you tell them that gambling is risky and the result may come out differently (not in his favor), they refuses to accept it and have 100% belief that they will win at any cost.

This type of belief and commitment is not found in any other walk of life. People doing business or spending money somewhere have doubt and fear that things can do against them, and they may face loss too but the gamblers are so firm in their belief that they never look at the other side of the picture. They want the win, and they 100% know in their subconsciousness that they will win. that is the reason they will never hesitate to put money into gambling.

We are not talking about the result which comes later on, once they gamble. They may lose too but the passion and belief of winning among the gamblers can't be seen anywhere else.
That whole winning energy would do better if diverted into investing in Bitcoin and good altcoins, this will bring them more life-changing money than gambling and the loss won't be like that of gambling.

Bitcoin is down 70% and altcoins are down 98%, the best buying time is now or never, but gambling is all about trying your luck once in a while, maybe twice in a week or a bit more. Gambling is not the right source to channel your energy into something believing to reap you big gains.

Even crypto trading is way better than gambling, but I am not here to confuse gamblers that trading and investing is better, I still engage in gambling myself but I am saying this because of the results I've gotten from all.
