902  Economy / Gambling discussion / sending bank statement for verification on: May 11, 2023, 03:07:55 PM
i registered at an online casino and my deposit was not arrived(in casiono) and i contact to their support and they said you need to wait for 10 business days for your refund.

10days are completed and i still didn't received my refund, and they told that "if you don't receive your refund in 10 days then you can contact us with your bank statement"

my question is, is it safe to share bank account statement for verification purposes?  the site is reputable, but in bank statement all my information are available. is it safe to share?

904  Other / Beginners & Help / mining bitcoin can be ceased? on: May 08, 2023, 05:37:24 AM
what would occur if all the computers in the world that mine Bitcoin suddenly stopped doing so?

how would this affect the value and future of Bitcoin as a digital asset and decentralized currency?   in other words, what would happen to Bitcoin if mining completely stopped or ceased?

or the 10minutes it going to be over at that time? or anything different happened here?

908  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is sex education bad on a child? on: May 05, 2023, 05:12:52 PM
I understand that children or teenagers are not allowed to know so many things especially sex activities but this days if you don't teach them someone else will.

So we are in a modern world where things are fast changing. What do you think? Is good to teach your children sex education or thy should be allow to grow on their terms? Is sex education good for a child?

providing age appropriate sex education can help children to develop a healthy attitude towards sexuality and make safe choices, but it is up to parents to decide what is best for their child.

910  Other / Off-topic / Re: Getting rid of ants on: May 04, 2023, 02:11:29 PM
in india we try this method:

we sprinkle flour near the gate of the house or anywhere where the ants are coming from, then they eat or carry the flour and goes to their home or whatever. it works most of the time without harming the ants.
911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / what are the ways to learn lesson in easy ways on: May 03, 2023, 04:01:42 AM
some days ago i discovered that my friend also invest in bitcoin and not have much knowledge about bitcoin, he just invested in it recently for doubling his money. Then i told him about what is bitcoin and how it's work, suggested some youtube channel to learn from but, he also did like many people do in greed of making fast and easy money and invest whatever coin is down(cheap) or trending. then i told him some lessons i learned in hard way like don't send your crypto to anyone it maybe scam, never invest listening to others, buy low sell high, never gamble with crypto and fiat also, etc.

but after some days he came across a youtube video, video was live about tesla and elon musk giving away millions in bitcoin, the scam is like this: send 0.01 btc and get 0.02 btc back. I previously told him don't send crypto and there are many scams, but he didn't followed it and sent some amount of bitcoin and after some hours he realized that it was a scam!

the question is how can we try to save newbie's from scams in crypto verse, we and many youtuber are saying that don't send bitcoins, there are many scams, etc. or we should not tell and left them to learn the lesson in hard way, I already listened many people those are in crypto for a while they said many things like don't be greedy, stay away from free crypto, etc. but i just listened and not applied and got scamed one time.

what are the ways to learn lesson in easy ways and save newbie's from scams?

BTW, i researched about their channel, they were live streaming about elon musk and cathie wood talking about some crypto related things which is very old video. then i checked their website where the people send crypto to double they are using one single address to get crypto, i checked their address in explorer and found out that they are making very good amount of money with this scam, like in millions.

one more, sometime i came across trading signals telegram channel they are giving their paid membership for trading signals, then i searched their payment address in bitcoin explorer, and the amount was like $500-$600 million. i don't know that amount came from their telegram membership or some where else. but no one will share their personal address(i think that money was from users)
912  Other / Off-topic / the manager of my passwords on: May 02, 2023, 03:39:03 PM
there are many password manager extensions and in built password managers in browsers are available. I signup on any sites also related to finance it shows an option of save passwords.
i click the save password button when the site is non financial or not very important or risky for me (like social media, etc).
but when i login to binance or online cypto wallets and banking sites, then i don't click on save passwords because of fear of password may be known by google, brave, or any browser.
I don't think password managing extensions are safe, but i think big companies know everything from billions of dollars worth wallets password to out privacy.(maybe i am wrong in password matter)
so these type of saving passwords feature is safe, if yes or no then please explain it.
913  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which YouTube channels and pages to follow for update on market news and TA? on: May 02, 2023, 03:19:10 PM
heres more :

I sometimes think, the youtubers know nothing or very very less about crypto and bitcoins, they are so dumb and newbie watch them like they are the crypto pros.
I start lol when read those newbie's comments.

I was also some time a newbie but not watched these type of videos seriously, I can guess what will going to be discussed in whole video by listening the initial 10sec of the video,

Reading a good books written by a professional is good idea like the Sceptical Chymist said.
914  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Robbing bitcoins from a bitcoiner on: May 02, 2023, 03:10:36 PM
question about physical bitcoins:

do you ever came across a theft case where thief stole the victims all bitcoins. like in physical world many banks robbed by robbers.

If bitcoin can be robbed like banks or any type of robbery, how can we be safe with this like more tips for security excluding writing key phrase on paper, etc.

what type of safety a individual should take to protect bitcoins physically like cascusious coins.

violence terms:
question about physical and digital bitcoins:

If the thief killed the owner of bitcoin and started finding wallet keys in his home (in most of the cases people store their private keys and phrases in home) and found that keys and stole all coins.

to stay safe what type of security a person should follow, like telling about bitcoins to next owner(wife, son, etc) after the original owner(like we do in preparing will) has been passed away, or keeping phrases in different places and telling to most trusted family members, buying cascusious coins not for storing large amount of coins, etc.

EDIT:
1. never tell anyone that you own bitcoins

917  Other / Meta / Re: forum's colors are changed? on: May 02, 2023, 07:43:53 AM
Nothing seems to have changed, and I know I'm not the first to say it. I don't think I found any difference on either laptop or android, so it's just your problem and not a forum problem.

After all, no one really expected topic like this to be created as there are many people who have considered customizing the theme even if it was provided by a third party. Changing the appearance especially the color is not something dangerous (not a bug) if there is, so I don't know what the purpose of this topic is.

i know i just wanted to know this issue was with forum or my display. which is now cleared.

and i asked two question second one is their in the OP
918  Other / Meta / forum's colors are changed? on: May 02, 2023, 03:46:27 AM
I logged in in bitcointalk after 2or3 days, i found that the colors are something shiny means become eye hearting white, (feels like the colors are whiter then previous.
it is a assumption maybe after 3 days i am reading posts, hence i feeling whitey.

and anyone knows in which board or posts the mod or developer, share all and recent updates? (if not? making and thread or board is good idea)

EDIT:

this was issue with my windows blue light filter levels, now solved!.

tell me answer second question?
919  Economy / Gambling / Re: This guy gave a whole prototype of "how live roulette scam us" on: April 29, 2023, 05:32:55 AM
I think this type of scam is possible when the casino there self run a roulette video means the live stream made my the own casino.

but most of the casino take video of live stream from game providers like evolution, pragmatic, etc. so if they want to scam player they need to change video for there profit, but on trusted casino's the video runs live without cheating so it's safe to play at trusted online casino and from trusted game providers.

there are thousands of casino's available if the game provider's were cheaters then definitely they got caught, surely someone spread the news that that game provider is cheating with customers but proving gsame on our platform(casino)
920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / can we see how many people are attacking bitcoin network? on: April 28, 2023, 03:41:23 PM
online websites like, https://threatbutt.com/map/ , https://map.httpcs.com/ , https://cybermap.kaspersky.com/
shows how many website are attacked by in real time,

so can we see how many people are trying to attack bitcoin network, or blockchain?
maybe this question is somewhat kiddy, but the sites are very interesting,  (like live airplanes, live attacks, live satellites, etc)
