901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost 80% of my bitcoins in alts, What can I do now?! on: May 17, 2018, 09:24:15 AM
Hey there

In june & July I bought Digibyte & Stratis & Siacoin with all my bitcoins, till now I lost almost 80%

What can I do, HOLD or Sell or What!

If you didn't sell earlier this year you could wait and HODL until the market goes up again

It's generally not wise to invest all of your Bitcoin in altcoins however, the ones you chose are good quality assets and should eventually recover their value even exceed it
902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TRTL] TurtleCoin - Cowabunga Dudes! on: May 17, 2018, 08:07:40 AM
This project is flying nice and low under the radar still and could do with a reduction in total supply

Would be nice to here from the development team how things are progressing with the Mobius release when they have time to post an update
903  Economy / Economics / Re: can you imagine bitcoin as your prime currency. on: May 17, 2018, 07:00:12 AM
Once the lightening network is implemented successfully Bitcoin will become a more effective payment method

Until then Ethereum might be a better alternative
904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Myether wallet offline, I made a mistake, help me please on: May 15, 2018, 06:49:38 AM
Broadcast means it has been submitted to the network to be included in the next available mined block so just be patient

Once the transaction is confirmed you will see the tokens have been transferred

No, an attacked cannot gain access to your private keys that way

In future increase the amount of gas you use (gwei) for a faster transaction

You can find out how much gas is best to use here: https://ethgasstation.info
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HLM] HELIUM - PRE NOTICE on: May 13, 2018, 08:03:55 AM
The re-brand is definitely a step in the right direction

Has a date been confirmed yet for when trading will go live on Cryptopia?
906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🚀🚀[ANN][Pre-ICO] Bitcoin Crown - Cryptocurrency for online game lovers🔥🚀🚀 on: May 13, 2018, 07:21:50 AM
Just curious about where I can find references to this project in the news articles published on your website

For example this article mentions the ThinkCoin project if I'm not mistaken: https://cointelegraph.com/news/blockchain-trading-network-promises-low-fees-and-instant-trades-on-financial-assets
907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Double your btc on: May 13, 2018, 05:29:23 AM
Stratis is a lot like Waves

Both are innovative smart contract platforms just not as hyped at the moment as EOS, Cardabi, NEO, Stellar and Tron etc

Waves already has quite a few ICO's launched on it but that hasn't affected its price much in recent times
908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH down now , when Will be back and hitt above 1k usd? on: May 12, 2018, 08:43:14 AM
The main reason it's down is the market is in a correction but it's only lost about 12.5% of its value

Unlikely it'll decline all the way back to $350 unless Bitcoin tumbles far further than where it is now so I wouldn't worry too much
909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bytecoin - bad trade, is there hope? on: May 12, 2018, 07:25:49 AM
Wow that's crazy!

At 1700 sats the market cap would be about $16 billion which is a bit unrealistic

Next time don't buy an asset the moment it gets listed on a bigger exchange especially if the price is ridiculously inflated
910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: PHOBOS!!! on: May 10, 2018, 10:29:49 AM
Is this just a relaunch of the original version?

When will the gateway be ready?

There's been no commits to the github since February and there's almost no volume on exchanges or even a listing on coinmarketcap
911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BYTECOIN on: May 10, 2018, 10:01:52 AM
I wouldn't be buying into this right now it's already been pumped and is getting dumped somewhat but don't let that stop anyone Roll Eyes
912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [PPTL] Payportal ICO : Bill payments and money transfers on: May 10, 2018, 09:38:33 AM
Has the development of the PayPortal platform begun yet and when will a working prototype be available?
913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about NEO on: May 10, 2018, 09:06:26 AM
It's second best to Ethereum Tongue

Really it comes down to how many people use the platform which statistically should put it in second or third place overall compared to the top 5 smart contract platforms
914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] STREAMITY ICO --->Decentralized cryptocurrency exchange<--- on: May 10, 2018, 07:55:14 AM
When the second stage?
We are going to launch it soon! Follow the updates.

It would be best to update this page with the second stage details when they become available as the crowdsale hasn't ended yet: https://icobench.com/ico/streamity
915  Economy / Economics / Re: Is small business ready to sell for cryptocurrency? on: May 10, 2018, 07:23:59 AM
Not much yet because it simply isn't convenient enough however, there are some projects leading this area which are getting some support from the retail industry and a lot of hype to go along with it like Pundi X which demonstrates there is growing potential for cryptocurrency POS solutions
916  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coin Market Cap SCAM!!! on: May 10, 2018, 06:47:11 AM
Don't think the scam accusations are completely justified but its the go to resource because it was the first in best dressed and is still the most popular

The new watchlist feature is handy although its a bit much expecting new assets to have $100,000+ daily turn over just to get listed
917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm betting on Waves to become the best platform for smart contracts on: May 09, 2018, 07:10:51 AM
Waves is starting to get outdated, their DEX lacks sufficient pairing and their overall price is just enormously hyped. I would take a look at universa for smart contracts.

I read somewhere Mcafee is going to use Universa as the platform for the Mcafeecoin ICO which should give it plenty of attention

Universa has a relatively low marketcap and the masternodes are still quite cheap
918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BSM] [PoW] Ṩ Bitsum - Telegram-oriented cryptocurrency on: May 05, 2018, 09:36:57 AM
How big is the development fund for this project and are there any efforts being made to get it listed on bigger exchanges?
919  Economy / Speculation / Re: John eat-a-dick | Will he or won’t he? | ? Bitcoin price December 31 2020 on: May 05, 2018, 08:54:09 AM
That's honestly a ridiculous amount to ask for just to make a single tweet to endorse a new project

Not even expert reviewers get paid that much to do an indepth analysis

So much for credible rating and reviewing of ICO's
920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ⚡️ PECUNIO - blockchain investments safe and easy ⚡️ on: May 05, 2018, 07:54:34 AM
The updated corporate image and new partnerships are looking very promising!

Does anyone know what major exchanges this might be getting listed on and when?
