901  Economy / Services / Re: Free music on: January 29, 2020, 04:32:06 PM
This is definitely not my kind of music - sounds more like noise than music. However I do have some knowledge about the niche and I'd say that it is good enough to continue that hobby of yours. I see you have already got an opportunity to monetize your skill, so that's a reinforcing reason to try and make time for "music" creation. haha

You might that I'm an old dude who only likes classical music, but nah.. I do love electronic music, but this piece is just too basic for me. Not familiar with "8-bit" mentioned in the thread though.
902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Air, Water, Bitcoin on: January 29, 2020, 02:19:04 PM
I wouldn't go that far and say that Bitcoin is imperative for our existence. We as humans can adapt to almost anything, but we need time. Bitcoin would be an enormous upgrade to our way of living and greatly improve the transparency and efficiency of all the industries out there, thus we need to make our best efforts to accelerate its adoption & implictly the implementation of blockchain technologies.
903  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Crypto Bull Run is Here! on: January 28, 2020, 05:59:21 PM
In my opinion we should all take it step by step, don't FOMO and watch the markets from an introspective point of view. Don't haste on getting in the train, it might retrace further than you think it will. Have a plan and follow it don't just blindly go into the markets (if you are a trader) - on the other hand if you are a long-term believer in Bitcoin and don't want to watch the charts on a daily basis just buy & forget. Check the price once in a while and enjoy your life  Wink
904  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will NOT surpass traditional methods of payment. Convince me. on: January 28, 2020, 05:35:12 PM
Your concerns are valid but first of all I'm not sure if there is any entity producing that amount of ASIC miners. Only if they would buy another miners' whole operations by paying a supra-price for their operations, but I don't think any mining farm would give up their mining operations taking into account the upside potential that Bitcoin has.

BUT, as far as I see Bitcoin - as a currency is not yet a threat for banks and probably they won't consider interfering in this way with the cryptocurrencies and by the time they do believe is the time to interfere it is going to be too late as (my belief) is that BTC will actually start being used for daily, mundane transactions only when its value will be somehow stable.
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: January 28, 2020, 04:53:27 PM
I myself am more interested in saving gold from having to save dollars, because in my personal opinion the increase in the price of gold is far more interesting than the price of the dollar even though it has to wait a long time but positively will rise, that's why I am here to continue to monitor the development of gold projects because I want to invest some of my money into gold

I fully agree with you. Anything is better than an inflationary currency. Smart people should look to get rid of their fiat currency as soon as possible. Every day you hold a dollar you lose a small percent of it. Of course that you won't feel it in the short term, but in a few years you shall realise that you can't buy half of what you could 10-20 years ago. Also why not expose yourself to a potentially rewarding asset like gold, Bitcoin, real estate, stocks, etc. while you're saving money.

Words that I like to live by in the financial world: "It is much riskier to save money than to invest it."
906  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Trading Strategies- Best Practices on: January 28, 2020, 04:25:04 PM
I'd say there is a simple overview you need to have over trading activities. You need first of all risk management - if you can't manage risk you have no business in the markets. It will eat you alive. Then you need to find yourself and "edge" which could be anything from fundamental analysis, technical analysis to the most sophisticated quant trading. If you possess these 2 components you "only" need to cultivate the ability to control your mind and emotions.

Just as an advice - you need to learn how to lose. If you don't know how to lose you will enter a vicious cycles of different emotions and it will take you much more time & money until you learn it. So first play with lower amounts and GRADUALLY increase your position size.
907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Body Of Control? on: January 28, 2020, 02:47:36 PM
I don't think we need bodies of control. We won't need central banks anymore if we all were to adopt bitcoin as the mainstream currency, but it's yet to be seen if it is going to transform in a world-wide adopted currency or it is going to be a point of reference for the value of assets like Gold is today.

Exciting things are to come and I'm happy to be alive during these times.
908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: January 27, 2020, 05:43:21 PM
I haven't checked the GOLD token for a while. I am glad that it is developing nicely. I see that the volume is constant and increasing.
Are there any integrations with third parties yet or do you have anything in the pipeline?

GOLD needs visibility and IMO if you can pull off some partnerships with medium-big ecommerce websites and successfully integrate a payment channel, your exposure will exponentially raise thus increasing the volume. As you are listed on Bitforex you can start by focusing on the Asian market first and then expand. It's just a suggestion though - you know the plan better.
909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Big news! Coincasso Exchange is now an official partner of PSG! on: January 27, 2020, 05:19:04 PM
@Coincasso_Official how much have you raised in your ICO so far? I suppose such a big partnership requires quite a consistent financial effort. The move is very beneficial for both your exchange business model and for the overall cryptocurrency adoption as well.

Will your logo be on the PSG kit? If it is I'm looking forward to seeing it on live matches. Wink
910  Economy / Services / Re: Anonymous Cryptocurrency Investment in Iran on: January 27, 2020, 03:43:03 PM
You really think that anyone would give invest with you blindly? If you would have a decentralized and transparent way to manage the funds it would be another discussion, but when you ask people to blindly send you BTC without even seeing your face and knowing where to find you in case you steal their money is just foolish.

You'd raise more money by begging on the streets.. Roll Eyes
A plan without infrastructure and execution is worth nothing in a professional investors' eye.
911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So this is what 21 million bitcoins look like. on: January 27, 2020, 12:08:09 PM
Really cool piece. I'm sure there are more collectors out there looking for this kind of stuff. Quite a perspective changer and a fascinating result when you assemble old ways of doing things with the new ones.

I'm sure everyone would like to hold that bank note in their hands  Cheesy
912  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do they accept bitcoin in your country embassy? on: January 26, 2020, 05:56:23 PM
Nope.. Authorities in my country are still not very friendly with cryptocurrencies. I mean they haven't banned it or established any rules against them, it's just that adoption is not growing at the rate I'd like it too, but we can't have all the things in life don't we?.. Or we can ?  Cheesy

Personally I think that institution adoption of Bitcoin will come as more and more businesses start using it. This way they will be obligated to come with a regulatory framework.
913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Altcoin's Price Jump? on: January 26, 2020, 05:08:55 PM
If the price of the Altcoin goes up, then the Bitcoin value will go up. The reason is that when the price of Bitcoin goes up, the price of Altcoin goes up as well.
If people start buying Altcoin more than today, the price of Bitcoin will go up as well.
If the price of Bitcoin goes up by 2021, it will be a record.
Am I right?

What are your statements based on? You can't know if altcoins will go up or not with Bitcoin. If altcoins go up in USD value that might as well mean that Bitcoin price is increasing(against USD) and the alts price remaind somewhat stable.

Now from my perspective alts do have a lot of potential to grow taking into account that many of them are 90-99% below their ATH, but again they could go even lower and never return to the previous levels. It is just a risk/reward trade that you need to decide upon.
914  Economy / Services / Re: Yobit.net signature campaign on: January 26, 2020, 04:41:26 PM
Well.. every campaign has an end isn't it? You can't have an unlimited budget for these campaigns. It is all about attracting and retaining clients. We should understand that after a while the traffic & exposure they get from Bitcointalk is matured and doesn't cover the expenses(campaign rewards). Curious about how their proprietary forum will "behave" and what role/influence they're going to create in the crypto sphere.
915  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pet shop want to become a bitcoin exchange? on: January 26, 2020, 03:50:53 PM
I don't see anything wrong in making some profits by offering this feature to your clients. If you are accepting cryptocurrency payments through a processor like Bitpay, then you don't really have a way to profit from the transactions made by your customers since Bitpay takes all the commissions from handling the txs. However you could be a little creative and maybe put a Bitcoin ATM in your store and/or offer an interface for people to buy and sell crypto at fixed rates. You can be more flexible here, but you're going to need a team of skilled programmers to pull this off.
916  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sigh... Do i need to hold and sell it later or now? Quite tricky situation. on: January 26, 2020, 01:34:49 PM
It is not a tricky situation at all. Nobody has a crystall ball so we can't know for sure if the price would be lower or higher at some precise point in the future unless you're one of the world's billionaires and you have possess the financial power to move markets by hundreds of dollars with a measly order.

My suggestion is to reflect what do you want to do with that Bitcoin. Are you going to need all the money or only a part of the 1.2 BTC value? If you only need a part then you can get a loan from Nexo or similar websites if you want to get into it and so keep your BTC, but at the same time that will expose you to other risks aka interest, the possibility of BTC to go down in value and you will have to put more as collateral, etc.

On the other side if you're not a trader there is no need to gamble with your money and hold it for another month in the hope that it will raise. Hope is not good for this game.
917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India Central Bank Says It Hasn’t Banned Crypto on: January 25, 2020, 04:33:02 PM
Even if they wanted they couldn't really ban Bitcoin and/or cryptocurrencies. An ideal internet should be based on decentralization and democracy - that's why we need a global internet mesh network without all those ISPs that can be restricted by governments. A total ban on crypto could also have major influence on the migration of people. If a government would ban crypto - would raise question marks in the population - "why does our government ban a virtual currency that offers freedom?".
918  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Will Skyrocket to $100,000 in 24 Months on: January 25, 2020, 03:16:04 PM
Look.. analysts usually construct their ideas in such ways that they are always right. Also many analysts and so called "crystal ballers" play in some way for the institutional traders who want to engineer liquidity for themselves by driving the crowd perception of the market in one direction why they accumulate and turn the market upside down with some big *ss orders.

While it could be perfectly possible from a fundamental side to see Bitcoin price at the $100k level or even above, you shouldn't make your investment decisions based on other analysts' opinions. They will NOT take responsability for your losses in the case they incur.
919  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can you guys identify Whale move? on: January 24, 2020, 05:49:49 PM
There are definitely way to spot the institutional's investors footstamps in the market. For example you can look at volume climaxes. That usually represents buying or selling pressure from the "big pockets" entities out there. Also when you see candlestick wicks accompanied by volume many times it is just the professional traders at work - engineering liquidity for filling their orders.

There are many technical analysis tools to get at least a mere lookout on what the institutional traders are doing at any given time. Open interest is a gauge you might want to keep in sight as well.
920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Digital currency of Banks can replace the Bitcoin? What is your opinion? on: January 24, 2020, 05:31:23 PM
My answer is an unequivocally NO unless they can make a cryptocurrency that is even more decentralized by Bitcoin and they have no control over supply and therefore no power to track the spending habits of its users. But  I don't see why banks would spend any resources towards something like this so.. yeah.. in my vision no bank is able to create something even close to Bitcoin as value for the people.
