901  Economy / Gambling / Re: How Crypto casino market themselves? on: January 16, 2024, 03:17:03 PM
I am curious to know who are their targeted audience and at what age group.
Researches should be conducted in order to let us know with accuracy the target audience and age range of gambling crypto casino's public target.

In general gambling people target countries like thailand more but probably this is not the case with crypto. Do they target nerds or total dumbs? How efficient they are between their marketing tactics?
Maybe that is just a personal impression you have, because you are from Thailand? Gambling is present in every corners of the world and there abundant propagandas regards this practice promoted in most countries. There are many other asian countries where it seems the gambling industry is really focused in and growing popular each new day, such as Indonesia, Philippines, India...

We can speculate about what public the industry is interested in. Since online crypto gambling is directly related to technology, we can suppose the target public are the youngster generations, especially the youngs who work on informatics field, as they are prone to understand and become crypto adopters, and those who are already employeed, what means they have a fixed source of income to maintain their gambling routines. Therefore it's a more profitable public for the casinos to focus their marketing on.

So far, the marketing tactics have been immensely rewarding, as we can see the industry in constant development and growth.
902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mental rehabilitation clinic. on: January 16, 2024, 02:56:02 PM
Yes, family support is the most important thing in the gambling addiction healing process so that they can see that there is support from the family, and that will provide encouragement for them to undergo gambling addiction therapy. Perhaps it will speed up the process of healing his gambling addiction because of the support from his family so that the gambling addict will not feel too hard in going through the process of gambling addiction.
Realistically, nothing will happen in the sense of achieving healing if the individual keeps insisting he could win if he tried gambling once more. There isn't cure when the person doesn't accept the fact he is ill. Family, friends, professionals can offer the most efficient support network to the addicted individual that it won't be sufficient. I even believe it could make things worse in this case, as the individual would feel inside a comfort zone, where he isn't confronted by anyone regards his delusional points of view, rather he only receives encouragements or reinforcements, instead of fair punishments for his distorted perceptions of what gambling can proportionate him. The person needs a "shock" to wake up to reality!

He needs to understand that if he doesn't change his mindset, he isn't going to have support from his beloved ones anymore, because everything in this life has limits. Not only the addicted is a flawed and weak human being with emotional limits. Everyone is, including the people trying to help him. If they see no results on their hard efforts, the tendency is they give up at some point, and once it happens, the addicted person will be by himself. So better that he doesn't waste the opportunity he is having in the currently moment to take advantage of every received help from this support network.

That is what he should be aware of.
903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Social aspects of online gambling on: January 16, 2024, 02:44:31 PM
To the people that have maybe tried both online and physical gambling, how do you perceive the socialization aspects of online gambling?
Socializing at online gambling is inferior when compared to physical casinos, because it takes longer to write than to speak. So it's natural people will tend to talk less and in more abbreviated manners at online environments. Also, in most cases people are mainly at such places to gamble, and not to chat to each other... Therefore, it's not a very important demand from gamblers to have the social aspects of online platforms improved.

When I tried sitting on live blackjack tables for example, the dealer would always introduce topics, as if he/she was told to keep talking. But it felt very repetitive and forced. The chat wasn't a good means to actually keep up a discussion. Out of the wight playwrs maybe one or two would reply with single words, and if you wrote something longer the dealer wouldn't have time to read it, respond and keep dealing at the same time anyway. So it was just a one sided back and forth, not a real discussion.
I guess the solution would be to have a very limited number of players at a single table, besides allowing players to talk through voice as well, and not solely tipping on their keyboards. It would give a more fluid and natural conversation aspect to the gambling session, as the dealer wouldn't have to read anything in the chat anymore. That is the way to bring the social trait from physical casinos to the virtual ones efficiently. Furthermore, to create more chatrooms channels could also be an idea, although I think people still prefer the crowded single one, as it's there where whales share tips with gamblers fellows...
904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you pay attention on other people bet and it amount, and does it affect you? on: January 16, 2024, 02:23:03 PM
Do you have such feeling also? Do you have a feeling that if others make large bets, that you also must bet large, otherwise you would feel like uncomfortable, or feel like a poor among rich, or something of that kind.
No, because I don't guide my life by what other people do on theirs. If you keep comparing yourself to others you will fall ill at some point. Actually, the fact you feel like you should place larger bets in order to not stay "beyond" towards other gamblers is already a pretty negative indicator. You feel uncomfortable or poor among the rich, because you are lacking self-esteem. You are measuring yourself and everyone else by what they possess materially, and not by what they really are on their essence. Consequently, you won't develop yourself as individual, full of unique potentials, qualities, morals, values, and also faults, to become just an ambulant sack of money walking around, incapable of achieving self knowledge and seeing what really matters in this world.
905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: January 16, 2024, 02:01:36 PM
The problem is that gambling can attract people from various circles to try their luck, and this also includes poor people who want to try their luck. But those who don't have a lot of money cannot try gambling for a long time because there is limited money, and they have to be able to use their time as best as possible. If they still lose too, they will come back another time and that is what will keep happening over and over again. Those who try to make gambling a source of income will regret it after finding out that they have lost a lot of money and they cannot recover their losses. That is why we must be able to avoid thinking about trying to make gambling our main income because we will only have difficulty getting it, and in fact, we will lose a lot of money.
First of all, poor people shouldn't be engaged with gambling too often or spending considerable sums of money on it, respectively to their total income. If they are gambling with the purpose of overcoming poverty, they have developed the wrong mindset for their lives. By doing this, they aren't having fun, which gambling is supposed to proportionate, neither making profit on long term, as most gamblers will always lose, anyway. So, it really makes no sense that poor people keep insisting in gambling. They would have better chances if they used their small income in another manners, like investing in Bitcoin or reselling stuff until achieving an enough amount of money to buy a piece of land or property.

By gambling continuously, the chances are poor people remain poor for the eternity. Of course there will be few exceptions who will hit big wins and leave poverty, and these exceptions will be used by the majority to justify the reason why they are gambling, although they should be still aware a life change is not going to happen to most of them through gambling. A major source of income from gambling isn't feasible for most of us, and part of being a responsible gambler is to be conscious about this simple fact.
906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice when you are going a bit far in gaming and betting on: January 16, 2024, 02:51:28 AM
To the list of advices mentioned here already, I would add that gambler should find or try to find a person that will monitor gamblers experience. Such person is needed to stop gambler from going far. Some kind of a mentor, observer. A person that does not involve into process, but when the situation gets tense, he will advice to take a break, pause, say that it is enough for today. Why such person is needed? Because gambler will admit that things have gone to far when they are already far. Gambler will never confess that he needs help.
A companion to watch the gambler's session and advise him to stop when he goes too far could work similarly to the roman tradition of placing a slave (auriga) near the roman authority to whisper on his ears: "remember, you are only a man", or "remember, you are mortal". These constant warnings were useful to prevent the authority (emperor, commander, general, etc...) developing megalomaniac traits and feeling superior, invencible, omnipotent, untouchable, what unfortunatelly are common characteristics among addicted gamblers who think to be able to overcome the casino, despite the chances being against them on long term.

You brought up a good idea which has already been executed by the romans with success in the past. However, for the modern man it's unlikely to work, because as you said: gamblers (and people in general) will never confess they need help... Modern human being's self has become overly proud of itself. Unlike the romans from ancient times, they don't remember they are mortal, that they are only men. If someone tries to give a positive and helpful advice, it's likely the addicted indivual immediately turns against him with offenses.
907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: cashout or wait till the end? on: January 16, 2024, 02:34:12 AM
cashing out or waiting till the end of game which is more better?
How reliable is the team or the player you are betting on? Do you think they inspire confidence on the public and can hold the result till the end of the match? How do you evaluate the rival team you are betting against? Is their moral still high? Are they playing fiercely to turn the result around? You have to analyze how the match is going. If you feel result is safe to remain untouchable until the end, then don't cashout, but if you feel things are too uncertain and the game isn't decided yet, cashout earlier. At least you will be guaranteeing some profit under the dubious scenario in front of you.

There is never an assured recipe to follow. Each match is unique and must be analyzed accordingly. All you can do is to use your best reasoning and intuition to reach an accurate decision. The kind of gambler you are will also affect on your choice. If you are more prone into taking risks, you are likely to carry the bet until the end. On the other hand, when you are a more conservative gambler who prefers to secure small profits, and avoid losses maximum as possible, it's probable you are going to cashout before the end more frequently. And there isn't anything wrong if you choose this path.

Don't feel pressured by friends, other gamblers around and the result itself. Do as your conscience tells you.
908  Economy / Gambling / Re: From $17 to $37000!!! Craziest Crypto Win in 2023!!!! on: January 16, 2024, 02:15:04 AM
Q: Could you provide us with a brief introduction about yourself?
A: I’m a concrete finisher, working full time and living with my parents. Just a regular guy who found his stroke of luck.
Nice to hear a successful story from a hardworking individual who made an outstanding profit from a gambling game. He indeed had his moment of luck which should be remembered with extreme happiness for the rest of his life! he belongs to a small percentage of gamblers who achieved making big profit in gambling. I hope he continues working hard, and that this prize can be enough to start a profitable investment aiming to help him and his parents on long run.

Q: How do you plan to use the money you won at TrustDice?
A: I plan to invest it in cryptocurrency. This win opened up new possibilities for me and my family too.
That is a good idea, but if I were him I wouldn't diversify my funds into many cryptocurrencies. Probably I would invest 90%-95% of the money in Bitcoin and the other 5%-10% in Ethereum or some other main cryptocurrencies. If he goes for BTC, there are good chances he can make this prize grow 50% yet along the next bull run, as Bitcoin reaches closer to a new ATH.

But where can you find the game that:
✅ Turned $17 into $37 000+ with a few free spins!
✅ Changed a man's life simply “overnight” with one simple trick!
✅ Gave the biggest win of TrustDice in 2023!?

Can you become the next Rabi Crypto Gamer?

You can find and play the game that won $37000.
Well, there it comes your propaganda... Congratulations for the smart marketing. Of course you will take advantage of this story to promote your gambling services, and that is fine. However, we have to point out that such winnings can be achieved at any legit online casinos around as well. This time 17$ may have become 37,000$ at TrustDice, but who knows in what platform it's going to happen next...
909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wrong perspective towards Bitcoin investment on: January 15, 2024, 09:00:25 PM
It's not an unusual situation, since many newbies have already fallen for similar scams. Fake crypto mining websites are really common, and they look legit for newbies, because they think profit can be made instantly through Bitcoin. They think crypto universe is a secret land of opportunities only few people have access, so offers from scammers look possible to be true on their eyes.

I have already been on that role many years ago. The problem with your friend is that instead of blaming the scam website solely, he blamed Bitcoin as well, as if Bitcoin was guilty for something. It's like blaming fiat currency in a bank robbery situation. It makes no sense...

Of course your friend must be angry for having lost 80$ bucks, but to become a Bitcoin hater won't help in anyway. Since you gave him 10$ as freebies or consolation prize for his loss, you could also suggest him to not deposit it at third party platforms anymore. Instead, deposit this money in a self-owned hardware wallet he has total control over the keys.
910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does it looks responsible as woman telling husband you gamble? on: January 15, 2024, 04:49:03 PM
It depends. If he is a pussy all house and church and is afraid of all what people might perceive as unhealthy activities it is better to not tell him that you are involved in such activities. In case he is a real man then even if you tell him I don't think he will make a big mess about it and most likely accept what you have been doing, maybe he will start giving some advices and monitor you more than before but overall I don't think it will be a big problem for him.In the end as you see depend on the type of guy your husband is.
Even if she doesn't tell him, he will know about this secret at some point. It's impossible to hide a gambling routine, because it directly interferes on the financial life of the couple. The husband will notice there is money missing, so he will ask the wife where she has been spending it. If she lies, it will get even worse, as the husband will become highly suspicious of her and will start looking for left tracks of the money. He just need to check bank account's history to see deposits made at casino platforms.

If she decided to lie, then I fear it's the end of the marriage, because he won't trust her anymore, doesn't matter the situation. And without trust, no marriages can exist, at least in a true way, although there are people who decide to remain together solely for formal reasons, to not disappoint the society or not be criticized by people around.

To tell the truth is the best alternative, despite the consequences.
911  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making too many picks reduces chances of winning. on: January 15, 2024, 04:05:00 PM
However, experts say that when we make too many picks regularly, our chances of winning decrease. This is due to the fact that we won't be able to analyze all the games carefully that are in our ticket and won't have the advantage needed to win.
It's relative, like everything else in gambling. Let's say you took a long time to analyze a match and totally focused yourself on this game in particular. Is it a guarantee you are going to win the bet? Of course not! Meanwhile, another gambler who used the same length of time you did, but to analyze three matches instead of one, may win all his picks, or let's say at least two of them, while you didn't win the single bet you were highly confident about.

So what is more worthful to be done? If we take specific cases to analyze we won't reach to any conclusions, because there is every kind of outcomes happening in real time. It only shows luck is decisive in gambling. Strategies remain in second plan.
912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Long-term profitable strategies on: January 15, 2024, 03:22:18 AM
Martingale strategy? as you said you're looking for long term, as we know the strategy was created in order to make you able to recover your previous losses. I'm not sure how long we need to gamble using martingale strategy in order to hit the huge win.

I cannot think of any strategy that is long term profitable and I think Martingale strategy is a trap. Though it may work for some, but the question is do you have enough money to continue the kind of strategy until you take back everything you've lost for the day? Other's may run out of money before they get the chance to win using Martingale and that's what I mean about that strategy being a trap.
Profiting from gambling is kind of difficult, let alone keeping it consistent for long term, so I think being able to continue gamble without getting broke and are able to win some good amount despite of all the losses is already considered a good strategy.
You can't think about any long term profitable strategy in gambling because there is none. Martingale is just likely to work on short run, but the more you play, closer you are of hiting a long loss streak, and then it's game over. Even if you had an abundant bankroll it wouldn't work, because you would hit the max bet size allowed by the casino at some point, what would forbid you from increasing bets progressively in order to recover previously lost sums of money. The games were designed to work this way.

I've already thought that it could be possible to find a gap on the system to make gambling profitable on long run through a smart strategy nobody has ever used, but as you get more experienced and mature, such naive illusions disappear from your thoughts, although I still remember the times when I had those illusions with a taste of nostalgia...

In gambling, you have to be really lucky to hit a considerable winning and once it happens, consider it a winning for the rest of your life. It's not advisable to keep coming back to gambling for more. After all, none strategies beat the luck factor here.
913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you be worried or comfortable seeing your elderly mother gambling? on: January 15, 2024, 12:09:36 AM
It depends on the situation.  If she has the money and enjoys gambling and it doesn't affect her daily life than more power to her.  There are a lot of people who can gamble recreationally and use it as a form of entertainment or even as a form of competition.  All good unless it alters her life negatively somehow.
I agree.

It's her money to take care of and if she's enjoying, I'll her do her own thing but I'll just give her some reminders that she shouldn't do it to the point that everything she is going to be put on stake.

She just take it as simple as enjoyment but she needs to be fully aware that it can wipe her things and money out so, that's it. She can entertain herself with that but still needs to be careful.
There isn't much grandchildren can do anyway regards the gambling activity of their grandmothers. An elder is an adult responsible for his own acts, have lived much longer than grandchildren, therefore there is a natural belief of being wiser and more experienced, besides having their own source of income. Why would they listen to orders coming from children? If you put yourself on their shoes you will understand it. We don't like to be ordered by younger people than us and people who we consider to be less experienced, and it seems as we get older, this feeling just gets stronger.

I believe the only thing grandchildren can do, which may work, is to appeal emotionally to their grandmothers that they stop. This kind of approach can sensibilize the elders, although it's not likely to have long term impacts...
914  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Intersection of Bitcoin and Gaming Industries on: January 14, 2024, 10:45:47 PM
Have you guys dived into this combo yet? Share your gaming tales where Bitcoin made a cameo or if you've hit the jackpot in a crypto-powered game. Let's swap stories on how our beloved BTC is becoming the ultimate power-up in the gaming realm. Any hidden gems or cool projects we should check out? Spill the beans, and let the crypto-gaming adventure begin! 🚀🎮 #BitcoinGaming #CryptoAdventures
Most crypto games projects don't involve Bitcoin itself, rather they tend to use their self launched cryptocurrencies for each respective game or any other altcoin which was created for this purpose, what is really a dumb idea, since Bitcoin could be introduced to 'play to earn games' as middle of payment.

The only games I found to pay in BTC are mobile arcade classical games, and they pay dust of BTC. The time you spend on them just doesn't worth the received rewards. Another option is to complete offers at offer-wall at any Bitcoin's portal, such as Cointiply, where you can download games' apps, complete determined tasks on them and then be paid by Cointiply for that. It's not great either, but depending the tasks and payrates you might be able to make few dollars after some days...

In practice it's not so impressive and exciting like you make it look on your post.

There are also plenty of crypto games around. I can't complain at all, since I managed to make decent profit from Axie Infinity before they introduced an update where rewards were paid only to PvP matches, and its following decay. MIR4 was also great, for a while. Lost Relics was a good game, as it was pleasant to play, although I didn't make any profit from it. Ni No Kuni was a deception, after so much grinding for nothing.

The point we would like crypto gaming to reach hasn't happened yet. Developers worry too much about profits, and forget about creating an enjoyable content for gamers.
915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What strategies do you adopt that can help to make millions in sport betting on: January 14, 2024, 09:59:34 PM
Despite how good the strategies you are going to use are, there isn't any assurance they are going to work for real in order to turn you into a millionaire. Very few gamblers achieved it and it will always remain like this, because if many gamblers won, the industry wouldn't be sustainable anymore. Don't put all your expectations of a thriving future on sports betting.

Since you want to be a millionaire, I suggest you looking for another alternatives which don't involve risking your money at gambling games. Study, develop yourself professionaly, work, save your wage and invest it to boost your monthly income through passive income.

It doesn't mean you shouldn't place some bets from times to times, just to see what happens, but don't specialize yourself on it, because you will spend a lot of time, without any solid guarantees of success in the end, what means you will regret a lot after all regards your past choices and wasted opportunities.
916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How you can build trust in the crypto community? on: January 14, 2024, 08:21:57 PM
Trust can be only achieved within time. Meanwhile, you have to develop your project, share its concept, functionalities, characteristics, features, objectives, practical applications to real life problems and every differences it has compared to other crypto projects which make yours unique, original and necessary for potential adopters. If you are able to do this, you will achieve the reputation you are looking for after a while.

Of course, marketing is also a must in this digital world. Consider investing some money to promote your project through virtual campaigns and ads. However, make sure it's really going to worth the investment. If it's just another useless token, there is no reason to promote it to the community.
917  Economy / Economics / Re: Growth mindset versus fixed mindset on: January 14, 2024, 08:10:24 PM
Growth mindset= Mature people
Fixed mindset= Immature people

Most of the time, people will never grow because of their ego and pride. They always wanted to be the star of the show, they don't want to be the wrong, they are always right. In short, they are the most annoying people you'll ever find. These kind of people will only mature to a growth mindset when something terrible happened to their lives, they will start listening to other's advices and opinions.
I believe it also has something to do with self-esteem. Some people view themselves in a very negative shape, so they will naturally avoid exposing themselves in public. They will tend to avoid everything which has potential to deteriorate their fragile self-esteem even more. Maybe even ego and pride are just a breastplate to protect their weak self behind from the judgments and comparisons of the world.

Unfortunatelly, it's not so easy to change someone's mindset from fixed to growth. First of all, the person has to see the necessity of doing that, besides willing to achieve that. I think it is the hardest part of the process, because to confess to yourself your weaknesses and difficults, involves getting rid of that breastplate which is responsible for protecting your weak self-esteem. Without this armor, which is the only thing protecting the self, imagine how fearful and dubious this individual will become, until reaching a considerable development point of his new growth mindset.

However, it might be precipitate to call someone characterized by fixed mindset an immature person, because he might have become an introspective individual, exactly because that is how a plenty of life's experiences have shaped him. He has maturity, but developed it in an extremely negative way, closing himself to the world outside.
918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as P2P currency vs Bitcoin as an asset on: January 14, 2024, 07:40:53 PM
I would love to be able to make purchases through Bitcoin, but it's just not possible, because there aren't sellers willing to accept it as payment method. Maybe the problem isn't with Bitcoin holders. It's not about them not willing to spend their coins and being only focused in long term profits by holding BTC as an asset. The problem is that they don't have where to spend their coins. There aren't sales offers and opportunities in large scale.

Maybe in some big urban centers at the main capitals of the world it's already a possibility, but for Bitcoin enthusiasts living at smaller regions and poorly developed countries it's hard to find someone else who is also an adopter of the digital currency. It would be great to buy a car or an apartment directly through P2P Bitcoin transaction, but hardly ever you will find the car or place you are looking for with this payment option. In fact, you should consider yourself lucky enough if you are able to find at least one seller accepting BTC as payment anywhere in your area.

It ends that we have no choice, besides using Bitcoin exclusively as an asset.

Yes @babygun is right in this case that every misuse of anything that violates the rules without exception will receive the same punishment for that is why it is important to protect yourself from greedy behavior, especially creating more than one account on the same IP because it is prohibited by Freebitcoin, I always Be careful about this as far as making sure no one creates an account using the IP I use at home.
In my opinion this is a delicate point. Not 100% of the cases involve abusers and cheaters. When you live with your family or by yourself at your house it's easy to make this control, so you can be assured no one is going to create a freebitco.in account, in order to not prejudice you. However, when you share a house with other people it is just not possible, especially when there is a constant flux of new residents coming in and out.

I don't know if the same is valid when accessing the website at public areas through free Wi-Fi connection, or if the platform can differentiate Wi-Fi's categories. Anyway, the first situation seems more delicate to me. You don't have how to know if the stranger living at the room by your side is a freebitco.in's user as well, although it should be obvious an investor wouldn't have any reason to create multiple accounts at the website to take advantage of a hourly faucet for few satoshis profit, since he can make much more passively, through interest income.
920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Use your winning responsibly on: January 14, 2024, 07:16:56 PM
And there is a possibility that he will also use the winnings to continue gambling because he still hopes to get another big win and it is normal for someone to have that kind of desire.
Well, actually that kind of desire shouldn't be considered normal at all... To win big once is already pretty uncommon and should be considered a prize for life. If someone is willing to hit a big win twice, it displays a greedy behavior, which will inevitably brings negative consequences on long run, because even if this gambler hypothetically hit a big win twice, it wouldn't be enough. He would go for the third big win as well, and then the fourth, fifth... Until finally losing everything while attempting to hit the next big prize.

But he should understand that getting another win, especially a big win from gambling, is not easy and it is rare for people to win big twice in a row. He must be able to understand that when he has managed to get a big win, he should immediately stop gambling for a while, celebrate his victory or not need to celebrate and prefer to save his winnings for the future. He doesn't waste the winnings by doing things like that because he can use them for other, more important things.
You are right, that should be considered the normal decision or desire after a big win. To put the earned prize into good use is the most benefical approach in this case. I believe there is no better way to celebrate a jackpot prize than investing it to return even more money after a while. So, part of the income made from the prize can be added to gambling budget in a frequent basis. If this gambler has to win once again, he will win, but through a responsible, limited and sustainable budget which won't compromise his initial earned prize.
