901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 05, 2023, 07:06:22 PM
It's even surprising that the Lakers were able to beat a team like the Heat without LeBron and Davis. However, it should be noted that it's been almost halfway through the regular season, but the Lakers are still struggling, and it looks like the second half of the season will be tough for them because they still don't even qualify for a play-in tournament. As for Schroder, he performed really well in this game, but it's a pity he rarely performs that well.

Since the Los Angeles Lakers are "consistent from being inconsistent" due to several factors including missing key players, a tough road to securing a playoff spot is one of the biggest tasks that they are facing right now. As you mentioned, they are even not qualified even for a play-in if we based on their current standing.

On the other hand, Miami Heat is disappointed with how that game turned out even playing in a complete lineup. Supposed to have a big chance of winning against the handicapped Lakers but end up in a bitter loss.
902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet is chess matches? on: January 05, 2023, 06:51:43 PM
Coming from a country where chess is one of the sports here that has a chance to compete with dominant countries, yes, I would like to place a bet for a chess match that involved our representative. Asia's 1st Grandmaster was also here in our country, Eugene Torre and there are lots of current GMs here that are working on their ELO rating.

Unfortunately, because of the poor handling of some athletes here in the country including the sport of chess, the famous Wesley So who is a product of our country decided to switch his country of representative several years ago or I think almost a decade now.

Anyways, sharing a chess-related thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5404544.0
903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: January 05, 2023, 06:43:48 PM
Anyhow, there are a lot good fights that can still presented to Spence if he wanted to, like Ennis and Vergil in he chooses to stay in 147 lbs.

No Keith Thurman on your list? Anyways, what's up with him currently?

Let's say Thurman is one of the preferred boxers that Spence's camp wants to face, is he willing to wait for April or May and just remain inactive for about a year now since his last fight against Mario Barrios?

I switch the topic to Keith Thurman as the recent discussion here doesn't involve him lol.
904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you guys bet on sports or casinos more? on: January 05, 2023, 06:34:00 PM
To win in sports betting a gambler always needs to have a good knowledge of the game and know the players so that a person is able to make accurate predictions and the more skilled he is in the game the more successful he is able to bet.

Familiarity with sports matches is really a must requirement when doing self-analysis. Obviously, without that how can someone be able to start an analysis lol? Although keep in mind that even how good our analysis is, the accuracy is still in question.

What are we doing here is, we are increasing our winning chance with this analysis and not making or picking random bets.

Though sports betting is still subject to random results, it's still good to have proper knowledge about what we are betting with.
905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 05, 2023, 06:27:08 PM
You see no reason for referees using a headset inside the ring but when they do, that is something to really wonder why. There were just hypotheses about referees getting instructions from the top where they could just raise the hand of a fighter that obviously fated to win even before the fight started.

Maybe true, maybe not. We can't just associate that with a form of cheating as maybe, that serves another purpose. Although, who knows?

Generally, from judges to referees, there's really a chance to manipulate results especially if the fight turned out close.

Because of that, I remember the Bivol-Canelo bout where there are speculations that if the fight instead turned out close the whole time, judges can easily score more points for Canelo every round. This fight turned the underdog Bivol into a superstar overnight.
906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers that don't understand basic gambling concepts. on: January 02, 2023, 11:45:53 PM
The same concept when playing slots where the question, are gamblers really understand the game mechanics of it?

Simply, since it's a game of luck, they will just spin those reels and expect that winning will come.

For me, it doesn't really necessary to know this RTP or expected value return. It can be learned in the way I believed.
907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting Types Newbies Should know About on: January 02, 2023, 11:43:37 PM
There's a type of betting in the Philippines too. They call it End Betting or Ending, where they bet over what the last digit of the score of the teams will be. Games where score can go to two digits or more is perfect for this game, basketball for instance. Special cards are given to confirmed bettors where they are to cross out what they think the end numbers will be. And a little futures betting is involved because they are basically predicting game outcomes. It has been a huge part of the neighborhood culture in the country, and as far as I know it is still in practice to this day.

That's not a typical betting type but rather a standalone betting game.

We can't see it though on famous sports betting sites as it's not a usual betting option.

I'm an enthusiast of that game and still popular here in my place. The tradition of that game is still here, alive and kicking.

Updates will be announced either there's a complaint between the camps, or they decided to take the rematch. We can only speak
on our opinions, but the finals, judgments are still on the organization to declare.

Reading articles related to that fight, no signs of complaining or anything from both party. No need for reviews or something.

Both boxers will now finally move on to the next chapter of their fight.

No mandatory rematch as per the article I read, Ioka is not available for it. Franco will be facing another opponent and so is Ioka.
909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 02, 2023, 11:38:41 PM
No momentum was being built because of this long break. Both teams just do the usual celebrations they are into every year, out of practice and any basketball-related activities. Since the series is 1-1, it's like they will face off in Game 3 just like they faced in Game 1 where the standing is 0-0.

Maybe today is the day they will resume their practice.

Hope that both teams will show 100% energy tomorrow and we should expect a close game throughout Game 3.
910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you guys bet on sports or casinos more? on: January 02, 2023, 11:35:49 PM
There are lots of trustworthy sports books out there and I recommend the one in my signature.

For OP's question, I do prefer betting on sports betting over casino games.

The reason is, it's just that I don't want my gambling activity to just purely depend on luck.
911  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: January 01, 2023, 11:59:47 PM
Whoever started this exhibition matches for the great retired boxers, it's really working on them and it's like a money making machine that everyone would like to pay a ticket just to watch them play the sport that they've loved even after their retirement.

Yes, these boxers think of a way to enjoy their favorite sports even out of retirement. It's just a matter now of who's boxer involved and who the opponent is as people will surely not just watch an exhibition match if the involved fighter is not that popular.

Nothing really wrong about that as they are not even forcing people to watch them.

If feel annoyed by these matches, simply just ignore those and move on.
912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting Types Newbies Should know About on: January 01, 2023, 11:58:27 PM
So, these kind of issues can arise if one doesn't have proper knowledge.

Not at most cases. That's not even an issue to start with.

Even with apply analysis or not, our prediction is still not accurate or not.

Sports matches is unpredictable even how good we are in doing analysis.
913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 31, 2022, 11:58:57 PM
Not aware that no game for today because of busy activity lol.

Long rest for both teams and one thing is for sure, this long rest day will give them more time to become fully prepared next game.

I like to see these teams clashing in a close game. Expecting to see that next game.
914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Responsible gambling on: December 31, 2022, 11:58:45 PM
Well, if a certain gambler loses a lot of money in a single day, I believe it is interesting for you to stop and bet the next day, do not try to recover the money you lost, as this will possibly make you lose control and lose more money, and it is at these times that a person can fall into despair and literally lose everything he has.

Self-exclusion is really not a necessary thing to do except with the purpose of stopping gambling completely.

It's totally fine to keep gambling and if having a bad day, as you said, just take a break and come back next time.

Not that simple to do but being a responsible gambler really depends on us. We are the ones responsible for where will we end up, either good or bad gamblers.
915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ultimate list of crypto Gambling sites that offers investment in the bankroll on: December 29, 2022, 10:49:50 PM
The ideal would be to invest on the bankroll of a casino of the size of Stake, DuelBits, Roobet...

A bankroll of that size doesn't need investment from investors. Therefore, you can't find any of it.

There's no way a site with a large bankroll like that would still offer investment opportunities for users e.g bankroll investment.

Let's admit it, bankroll investing is not a good choice now where for it to make effective, the said site should be popular and has lots of established active players. But those active players are now on those big and popular gambling sites.
916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Attributing wins or loses during gambling/betting to Ego or Simply Intuition. on: December 29, 2022, 10:25:40 PM
Our respective egos have no relation to winning and losing in our gambling session on that day.

To make things somehow clear, our ego instead affects the way how we decide and if bad days occur, expect that decision is worst.

Therefore, if we are not in good mood, we can't think properly about what to do and will just do some random betting based on a quick decisions.
917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would be an ideal KYC solution? on: December 29, 2022, 10:19:27 PM
The black market is real maybe you never access the site that sells ID documents to thousands of data, you have to take care of ID document data not to give free on all gambling and exchange sites, we can't get around the KYC request rule but at least we have checked the reputation and rating top platform that has been recommended by forum members

Just in case you don't know, the first time we go through the process of KYC on a site, we already exposed our identity.

Don't believe too much that these companies will sell our identity to the black market.

But I'm not 100% ignoring the beliefs of others about that. So for that, then just stick with a reputable site in case of submitting KYC.

If Casimero is looking for a contender like Luis Nery, it will be a long shot for him since Nery is the #1 contender by the WBC. And for all we know that belt is being held by Fulton in which Inoue is targeting when he officially moves up to this division.

Luis Nery is one of the big names in the Bantamweight and Super Bantamweight divisions and if Casimero's camp will be able to set a deal successfully with the former Mexican champion, that's a good opportunity to build his ranking, of course only if he wins.

But I have a doubt that with the current status and rank of Luis Nery, will there be interest from his camp to negotiate with Casimero's camp, which is just starting his journey on the Super Bantamweight and has not been ranked til now?

Let's follow the plan of Casimero's camp.
919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 29, 2022, 10:01:37 PM
That’s why they lose on that game, the locals can’t help Brownlee that time and their biggest problem is the biggest defender of Bay Area. They have to adjust in game 3 if they want to take back the lead, it will be hard for Ginebra if they are going to give too much confidence for Bay Area, they can be more deadly as they already prove this many times this conference, game 3 will be more crucial for both teams.

While Ginebra is expected to adjust next game, the same goes for Bay Area Dragons too.

I'm sure these teams already know what to do and it is just a matter of how they will properly execute it on the floor.

Since both teams now experience winning and losing this series, I'm expecting a close game in Game 3. I hope referees won't spoil the fun, especially the unnecessary call on some expected physical plays as fans want to see some physical actions.
920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Responsible gambling on: December 29, 2022, 09:55:55 PM
To know how to limit your gambling activity by yourself and to know your own limits is the ideal, but not everyone is at this emotional and mental stage yet, so they need third party tools in order to help them keep their impulses under control.

I have to agree with this.

Others think that a self-exclusion program is not really needed but they didn't really know and understand the feeling of being close to becoming addicted. These persons where level of addiction is now being noticed really need some help in order to at least, try to take the momentum back to themselves.

If others think that self-exclusion is not necessary, be thankful as that proves that you are still in yourself and far from falling into a gambling trap.
