901  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Exchange] Liqui - trade and earn 24 APR on BTC, ETH on: April 09, 2018, 09:18:42 PM
Already did. I never had any problems with my other backups but all the others are also not 64 digit keys... I know that the key is correct so I guess the problem is on their end...

Does anyone know what good the 64-digit key for the 2FA that they give you is? I tried using it to backup my 2FA but it says that the key isn't valid... How can I now reset my 2FA?

I'm pretty sure it's used for that purpose, this applies for all exchanges and not Liqui only. If it's not working, you may want to try and contact the support.
You tried resetting your 2FA and got an invalid key? Have you checked the time on your app if it is synced correctly? If yes, this might be really on liqui's side. I also wonder why they provide a 64 digit key while others only have 16 digits.

Oh, seems that this has been an issue before as well and just got solved by contacting support. Reddit post here
902  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN]Crypto Ticker a simple app to keep track of the top five currencies. on: April 09, 2018, 07:15:20 PM
App Link : Click Here
 Cheesy Wink
You gave a broken link[1]. I am curious about how it looks like, but anyway, keeping that aside, I would like to ask why is it limited to top five currencies? Imo it would be better if you list more so that users can monitor all the currencies they are into at once in a single app.

EDIT :
[1] The correct link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mashaal.cryptoticker . Just saw the app already and it's just plain
903  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: New Way to Scam the Bounty by the Manager on: April 09, 2018, 06:06:33 PM
Bes19 has a point, you should provide a strong evidence for this accusation. I have a question, for the Crestonium, aren't he going to distribute the bounties? He mentioned that he has been removed and blocked on telegram after receiving the payments for him, bounties and airdrops. I think he should distribute it still rather than hold it himself, regardless if it's a scam or not as he say.  Huh
904  Other / Meta / Re: Hacked account on: April 09, 2018, 04:47:30 PM
I don't think I did Sad
If i did I don't use it anymorre anyway.
You need that. You should prove that you are the owner of the account by signing a message, else you'll have a little to no chance of recovering it.
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware not to buy SBD/Steem on Hitbtc. Withdrawal issues for over then 3 months! on: April 08, 2018, 03:24:58 PM
I'm not in the same situation, but I noticed that your thread has not gain so much attention here. Posting in their ANN thread would be a bit of help, so it will be seen by those who are using the platform. Also, hitbtc account become active again on answering in that thread.

PS. Just leave the platform after getting your SBD to avoid getting into the same situation.

why do you think so? and why is the ANN platform better?
Why do I thought of what? Please explain further.
The reason why posting in the ANN thread would be better was already mentioned. Still, I'll explain it to you. It is because OP want to know who else has the same problem and most users of hitbtc are viewing that thread, most likely they could see his post there and react if they encounter the same. This post of him doesn't have any reply when I saw it and was already buried few pages away to the front, there's a possibility that it can't be recognized at all.

Thanks for the feedback @jhenfelipe. I'll do that
You're welcome. I hope hitbtc will answer as well once you post there.
906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking using Coinomi wallet on: April 08, 2018, 02:38:18 PM
It has been asked by several users before (since 2016) and they answered that it will be implemented in the future. I've searched about it now in case there have been a new update, however, it is still not yet available. The most updated result I got is from twitter, posted last Feb 19, 2018 (Click quote links to view the tweets on twitter) :

Is staking on the Coinomi wallet available now?
Sorry, not yet.

908  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed by account "silverleafy" on: April 07, 2018, 09:33:07 PM
Please fix the links for the images, it doesn't seem to work even I copy and paste it in the URL bar of the browser.

I think you already know that you can't get your money back unless the scammer send it (which is most likely not going to happen). It's really a must to do a thorough research about the person you're dealing with to reduce the risk of being scammed. Checking his trust page first would always be helpful. Also, the use of escrow and messaging apps that won't delete both copies of messages if the other person delete his.

Be extra careful on your next deals if ever ~
909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MyCrypto vs Myetherwallet on: April 07, 2018, 04:00:08 PM
Since you already used MEW (I guess so), you already know its features. MyCrypto looks like identical with MEW at first, but now they started an improved version and launched their Beta. If you are not aware yet, you could check the improvements made on their blog: MyCrypto Launches Public Beta or check directly MyCrypto Beta at https://beta.mycrypto.com/account

I would not recommend one as I haven't tried MyCrypto yet. I think it's for you to check out ~

Thanks! Detecting the ERC20 tokens automatically is definitely a good feature. I don't see why would anyone continue to use MEW when the Beta features are released.

I just tried it and apparently It's currently offline, I tried to connect to other nodes but nothing is changing.
I admit that after reading their blog and seeing their beta release, I also thought that the updated version is great. I already tried to connect/sign in via Metamask and I got to access the wallet. However, I still prefer to try to make transactions on the official launch. You can try now as it seems to be online atm.

Others may either unaware about MyCrypto yet, or they really just want MEW (I personally don't have any problem with MEW as well).
910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: April 07, 2018, 03:13:01 PM
I opened my android wallet and got this error (see image below), and as far as I remember the app stopped and closed after clicking OK. Does it mean it can't load the balance or something else?

Nothing has changed since the last time you opened it and it was working and this time? Are you using the latest release? Is your app protected by a password?
I do have the updated app on my phone and not yet protected by a password. I opened it again today and it went through / sync without getting this exception. Maybe it's just a problem in loading the balance(s) that time.   Huh
911  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: YoBit Wallet status: Maintenance ? on: April 06, 2018, 11:34:07 PM
[...]
It isn't possible to exchange the coins for other coins if the wallet is disabled I have many altcoins in yobit and some of my altcoins wallet are stuck forever until now never fix this issue unless if the developers are still active they can contact the yobit to update the wallet and fix.
Isn't it possible if the wallet is in Maintenance status (not disabled), just like in OP's case? I thought it is, only not in making deposits and withdrawals.
912  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: YoBit Wallet status: Maintenance ? on: April 06, 2018, 09:20:12 PM
I suggest you to check the coin/token's ANN Thread, Blog, or social media accounts first if there is a problem with the chain or wallet. That way you can confirm if the problem is only with Yobit or not. If it's only in Yobit, no one else aside from them knows exactly how long it would take to be fixed/enabled.

Btw, are you planning to Deposit or Withdraw?
Assuming that you're going to Deposit, I highly recommend to just choose another platform. On the other hand, if you plan to withdraw, you can consider exchanging the coin/token to other coins.
913  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Breadwallet Is Adding Support for Ethereum with an Airdrop on: April 06, 2018, 07:20:59 PM
Token holders will get airdrop as the company celebrates successes of 2017.
To celebrate the release of full Ethereum support this week rather, as mentioned in their official Blog: BRD Q1 2018 Update. Anyway, it's been a while since the last time I tried Bread android app and I could say it improved a lot (in UI plus now supports BCH then ETH).
914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it posible to recover the coins from a hard drive? on: April 06, 2018, 05:03:43 PM
You have 2 options:

1. C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\  -  Change the Drive and Username then paste it on your file explorer and click enter. Check if there's a tattoo folder in there

2. Simply open your HDD on your computer and use the search function to locate the folder (if you are uncertain with the exact folder name, just type tattoo, I guess it has that word)

• Once you see the folder, just open and copy the wallet.dat file
• Go to C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\ (this time, change only the username)
• Open the tattoo folder then replace the wallet.dat with the one you get from your HDD
• Run the wallet and check if it will sync

917  Other / Meta / Re: Scams vs Spam on: April 05, 2018, 09:01:14 PM
If all the people who join every ICO posted here do a thorough research, we might see several "scam" or "potential scam" threads here in the forum. However, that's not the case.

Trust ratings are not moderated. There might be people who are not scammers, yet have a negative trust in their account. That being said, disabling all users with negative trust to open threads or banning them will affect a non scammer's account as well. In regards to posts in the lending section, just don't deal with newbies without collateral.

Still, the best way to avoid being scammed is to be cautious. It is every user's responsibility to check / apply security measures before dealing online in general (not only in the forum). Btw, I think everyone is concern about scams, it's just that they(we) don't post about it and that doesn't mean we don't care at all.
918  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Ann DT member needed on: April 05, 2018, 07:30:25 PM
Next time Archive it (archive.is) or any service like that aside from screen capture. I have planned to do so for you, unfortunately.....  Roll Eyes

See the quote below from the ANN thread (Kanagonka is the OP). He seems to mean that you just edit the image with photoshop. That's why a copy in an archive site is important.

One thing is clear, competitors are good at using photoshop
919  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Exchanges vs Instant Swaps (changelly, shapeshift) on: April 05, 2018, 05:57:48 PM
They are both Exchanges, instant and not.

Not instant exchanges are definitely better for traders. As you have stated, users could store different coins in one account. In addition, they could sell or buy coins anytime and have the ability to choose the price they want. Instant Exchanges, on the other hand, are most likely for those who want to buy or sell instantly, no plan of storing the coins nor making several trades. Users have no power to choose the price, though. There's an estimation, but it's prior to change depending on the coin price during the time of transaction.
920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Problems with Cardano (Daedalus) Wallet on: April 05, 2018, 03:52:23 PM
How about these two? (quoted below)
Try if they will work, else, would be better to seek help directly from the support : https://daedaluswallet.io/faq/#support

First, please restart your computer and check your internet connection. Note that connecting might take up to half a minute in some cases. If you are using an antivirus, make sure Daedalus and cardano-node are in the exceptions list and try restarting.

For Windows: please make sure that you launch Daedalus using either shortcut created during the installation (Daedalus shortcut on the desktop) or daedalus.bat file located at the installation directory (default is: C:\Program Files\Daedalus\daedalus.bat).
