901  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin on: June 21, 2018, 12:02:09 PM
well one of the benefits of bitcoin is that you can always sell any portion of bitcoin as you like (of course as long as that portion is meaningful not like selling 1 satoshi or 1000 million bitcoin!). but you can never sell a portion of your gold!

so if some day i have some problem i can just sell 2.456214BTC from my stash and solve my problem.

although i prefer selling anything but bitcoin because anything else is not going to rise big time so for instance gold has nowhere near the potential of bitcoin. a year from now gold is going to be pretty much the same but bitcoin will be worth a lot more.
902  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 'exhausted' at $6k - 'bottoming process' could sink crypto to $4k on: June 21, 2018, 11:45:53 AM
where do these people get this stuff from? Shocked

"fighting back", "exhausted", "bottoming process",... it is as if the article is trying too hard to use words to scare people into thinking price is about to fall down hard Cheesy
the funny thing is it is not even showing smallest signs of drop. if anything it is showing signs of rise. ever since this "hack" happened the price has gone up about $400!
903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the good Altcoins to HOLD Long term? on: June 20, 2018, 12:51:55 PM
holding is not a good idea when it comes to a high risk asset like altcoins. when you want to do a long term investment which is the right word for HODL then you need to first assess the risks and if they were reasonably low enough then you invest. of course it is also about the reward you gain by taking this risk too.

for example the reason i am a BitcoinHodler is that my assessment of bitcoin risk/reward is that although the risk is high but it is still reasonable and a lot lower than the risk of altcoins. meanwhile the reward is high enough to not only justify the risk but also create enough incentive to choose bitcoin over anything else.

if you really can find the same circumstances in an altcoin then do it. otherwise it is not wise to just take risks blindly.
904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Each small rise in the market of altcoins leads to a greater fall! on: June 20, 2018, 12:40:11 PM
this is how the market works. just like the corrections during the rises we have something like them during drops too.
for instance when we are in a bull market or a pump, price rises $20 then short term traders sell to take profit out and it comes down $4-$5 (aka a correction). then a little while after it rises back up to $30 and so on.

during a bear market or like what we have nowadays, a dump, you see the same thing. price falls $20 then short term traders start buying the bottom of that dip and price recovers a little (also referred to as dead cat bounce) like going back up $4-$5 then to get the profit out you sell and price comes down. since the dump is not yet ended you see the fall continue as before and fall more and more.

that is all natural movement. it doesn't have to self-destruct or whatever. it just needs to reach the bottom where there is a balance between supply and demand.
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coin idea, looking for private investor on: June 20, 2018, 12:31:20 PM
Given the current market demand with the success of projects such as EOS, it's obvious consumers are interested in TX/s and not decentralization.
that is only your opinion. a great deal of people think decentralization is the main reason to even have a cryptocurrency and without it there is no point creating one.
TPS is important but only if there is demand for it. there are at least 500 altcoins with a gigantic TPS capabilities that is never used more than 10 Tx/minute.

Why not go completely centralized for maximum efficiency?
because centralized payment systems already exist. it is called PayPal, VISA, Banks,.... why should anyone use a centralized coin created by some individuals when these much more trusted systems exist?
additionally there are centralized altcoins, there is no maximum efficiency and you can see they lack popularity Because they are centralized.

you have a repeated general idea for creating a coin that will become useless.
you want to remain anonymous.
you don't provide enough information about the "idea"

and you want $100?!!!
...good luck /s
906  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What factors scare others from investing into bitcoin? on: June 20, 2018, 12:20:07 PM
the only thing that can scare people from investing in bitcoin is lack of understanding. there are only two groups in my opinion. those who understand what bitcoin is all about, they either don't want to invest in it because they don't find it useful (which aren't that many people) or find it useful and invest in it. the other group (which is a lot of people) is those people who don't understand what bitcoin is all about. they just see it as something you buy and make profit. nothing more nothing less. these are the ones who are scared both when they haven't invested and when they have.
907  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-20] BTC to fall after massive $30 million HACK heist in South Korea on: June 20, 2018, 12:11:07 PM
"to fall"? you mean as in it will fall in the future because of the news that was spread in the past?!!!
i don't know how familiar you are with the market but when a news like this comes out, the effects are right away. meaning if we were to have such a drop then it would have already happened!!!

the news came out a very long time ago and the market has not moved at all so far and it won't move in the future either. and if it moves it won't be because of this because it would be too late to react.
908  Economy / Speculation / Re: Markets and ambitions on: June 20, 2018, 12:05:54 PM
all the things you are mentioning such as "ambition" and "hope" and all the rest are just nonsense that people make up for themselves to feel better. at the end of the day it is all about supply and demand. the emotions may come into play in short term for a little while but not the long term.
909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can an Altcoin below ICO price rise again after falling? on: June 17, 2018, 11:21:25 AM
first things first: when you buy an ICO you should make sure to dump it as soon as you can because everyone else will even if you don't like it! and when they do the price will drop hard. so it is always best to act fast.

now is it possible to recover and go above ICO price? of course it just takes a pump and that is the name of this market: pump and dump market. but it may take months even more than a year for the pump to come. and in some cases it never comes because the team scammed and ran away..
910  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alexis Bledel to Star in Bitcoin Thriller ‘Crypto’ on: June 17, 2018, 11:13:16 AM
unfortunately each time i  hear about bitcoin in  some sort of movie, tv series, ... it is used in a negative light. at least most of the times. the biggest one i think was Dope (2015) where that kid uses bitcoin to sell drugs! i think the TV series Family Guy took a shot at bitcoin too, where Peter buys bitcoin or something...
lets see what they have in store for us with this new one
i enjoy watching them though. LOL
911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So, Ukraine is the Latest Bitcoin Friendly Country? on: June 17, 2018, 11:05:03 AM
as a rule of thumb all countries are friendly towards bitcoin unless proven otherwise. and when i say proven you need legit sources showing you the government has passed a law against bitcoin otherwise the news and the media is filled with false information about bitcoin in different countries!
912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tether manipulation did not let this market grow organically! on: June 16, 2018, 10:12:06 AM
FACT.
You can not base any ALTs future value based on the past. The past was manipulated!
I disagree with you because there is no guarantee that manipulation will not happen in the future.!
Manipulation is the thing that threatens the market, not just the crypto market but the stock market can be manipulated

Your a nut to disagree with me! Bitcoins price was manipulated: FACT BITCH
There is enough proof to issue arrest warrants for the principals of Tether!
The Tether fiasco is warming up again!

this theory about Tether that has been around ever since bitcoin rise started getting fast mid 2017 has been proven wrong multiple times by that time and also this year.

the basis of this theory is that they released new tether and bought bitcoin with it so price of it went up. regardless of how dump that sounds, we have seen the release of new tether did not stop during the drops so if this theory was true then price should not have dropped by those times but it DID drop.
you calling others "bitch" doesn't change that Cheesy

the altcoin market however is a different beast. it is 80% manipulation 15% newbie idiots who bag hold altcoins thinking they will become millionaires without needing the manipulation incentive and 5% natural growth since it is the technology of our time even if it is a shitcoin.
913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: planning for down market on: June 16, 2018, 10:05:31 AM
the best strategy is to dump the big coins that you have been bag holding and then moving on to the good smaller shitcoins that are getting pumped. enjoy their moment of fame and then moving on to the next pumping coin to constantly make profit.
914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The value of the token on: June 16, 2018, 09:52:22 AM
because all of these ICOs have been absolutely shit and useless. people know this and they still invest in them. so when they receive their useless tokens the only thing left for them to do is to dump them. dumping them means the price of these tokens drop hard.

and knowing this trend even if a newbie buys the token without knowing what is going on they will see the initial dump and they will also join the dump and increase the size of the drop.

there is also the fact that there is no demand for these tokens as i said they are useless! no demand+large dumps= hard drop.
915  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin price can be manipulate by the others? on: June 16, 2018, 09:42:40 AM
many people say that FUD is causing the crashes and hype the rises, they are correct but something that  i think needs pointing out is the fact that people think FUD is simply whenever someone starts some bullshit topic on a forum and starts talking shit about bitcoin. NO that is called trolling not FUD. and people who are doing it are newbies who have no understanding of the market.
916  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does Bitcoin protects people from ?? on: June 16, 2018, 09:36:03 AM
Gold and silver are hedge against inflation/price rise and they protect people's wealth during wars and natural disasters such as Earthquakes, hurricanes, cyclones etc.. so gold and silver are a store of value.

during disasters such as wars,... food and shelter is the store of value not gold and silver. you can't shove gold up your bum and get warm when nuclear winter happens Wink

As a commodity, what does Bitcoin price show or protects people from ??   Grin
bitcoin is a currency. a currency is not supposed to protect you. a currency is a medium of exchange. you give unit of currency and receive goods in return!
917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying AltCoins At Dip...Are You Doing It Now? on: June 14, 2018, 12:45:48 PM
No, because personally i have no hope for the altcoins' futures so i don't invest in them like this. this strategy only works for things with a good future like bitcoin. even if you make a mistake and buy in a dip and price goes lower you can be sure t hat bitcoin price will rise back up but you can not be sure about altcoins.

what i do to altcoins is that i only buy them when they started rising already not a minute sooner. i may miss the chance to make the biggest profit, i know that. but i am also reducing the risk of losing money to nearly 0 risk. and that is more important to me.
918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Altcoins dump again? on: June 14, 2018, 12:36:57 PM
unfortunately the dumps of the altcoins have been a very slow process unlike the previous times we had big pumps like that. i believe that it is mostly thanks to all the fresh investors that came in and were not familiar with the dynamics of how altcoins work so they are still hopeful and holding tight. the dumps however are inevitable.
the only thing you can do is either short altcoins to make a huge amount of profit or simply cash out and stay out for now.
919  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin lead cryptocurrency market forever? on: June 14, 2018, 12:26:19 PM
Bitcoin is the beginning of cryptocurrency and it is leading both in price and volume. All the other altcoins are trying to catch up with the king coin.It will really take some time before we see another altcoin moving to overtake bitcoin as the market leader. Bitcoin will not be sleeping the developers will also do all they can to remain relevant.

the problem is, the competition should not be only in words. words are winds. action is important and so far the altcoins have only had words to advertise the shit out of their coin and fool people into thinking their coin is good but when it comes to action and you test their platform you can see how they suck hard.
920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This dip is great! on: June 13, 2018, 12:34:41 PM
i disagree because first of all the money from newbies has fled the market and it is still fleeing the market. there are a lot of wounded newbies who are still waiting for a small breeze to dump their bags and leave too. in this scenario you won't be gaining any decent profit from anything you buy because there are no more newbies to put their money in and help the pumps.
also i don't see any signs of dumps slowing down. all i see is more dumps on the horizons. for months i have been saying altcoins are in bubbles but nobody listened and now we are seeing the market wide dump which is also fucking with bitcoin prices too!
