901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Here's Why Ethereum Could Beat Bitcoin As Best Asset Of 2021 on: January 27, 2021, 06:28:20 PM
2021? Sure Ethereum is likely to be the best coin for this year, Bitcoin has gone for its run and after reaching as high as $40,000 we are now seeing it going down to a lower price, yesterday the price was below $31,000 and this morning it has dropped to $29,500 and the way I see it, there will likely be more decrease, the question is to what extent it will reach?

With all that happening, Ethereum has been increasing and is getting close to its last ATH of $1500, it currently sits $1300. This might be the season for altcoins in USD value but I do see the actual growth in terms of BTC which means ethereum still has long way to reach its ATH.
902  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I get rich by trading on: January 27, 2021, 01:38:48 PM
I would say having this sort of trading experience would be great for long term as well. I understand that trading is a short term thing, I understand that day trading for example is literally "day" trading but if you learn these skills, you could make it into a business. Sure there will be days where you will lose, but there will be days when you win as well, which is why I think it is quite clear that we should not focus on the moments when we lose, but focus on overall and how we are doing.

If you are a good trader, and make a decent return every single day, even having 1% profit per day "average" (you can't make profit everyday, but some days will be higher) you will be capable of making a huge return every year. That is why those short term gains combined together for the course of many years would mean a lot of profit in the long term as well.
903  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the crypto market saturated? on: January 27, 2021, 09:24:45 AM
People keep pouring money into scam projects with the ambitions of becoming rich in the shortest time possible. They don't care about doing a research before making an investment. This leads to many undesired losses in the long run. As long as there's money to be made, expect new cryptocurrency projects to pop up every once in a while. What ultimately matters is a project's usefulness above everything else. While most projects are pure speculation, there are some that are quite useful in the mainstream world. A select number of cryptocurrencies on the market will survive in the long run, while the rest will go down the drain. I don't think the market is saturated as the open source nature of crypto/Blockchain tech encourages developers to build projects of their own. The rate of which new projects are created shows us that the ecosystem is alive and healthy than ever. People will ultimately decide which cryptocurrencies will stay and which will fade into oblivion.
I have to say people are getting wiser about the scams though, I have seen some new weird situation with people willingly going into scams and that is a bit funny. These days there are so many DeFi projects that offer like 50%+ daily return, which we all know is a scam and will crash for sure in just few days, but I have seen friends who check out new projects, see how much APY is promised, get in on the first seconds of it, and get out on the third day.

They do this as a group and they do this quite frequently with the money they are willing to lose, because they do not care about losing just few hundred dollars since they already made a lot more money than that from previous projects. Best one was putting 320 dollars into something and taking out 7 thousand dollars, they said there was never anything even remotely close to that but they got lucky, normally they do like 250 bucks in and 50-100 out for most, maybe 200-300 if they are lucky, but this one was just pure luck. So some people go into scams all willingly Cheesy.

Sorry but curious about the Probability fairness of the Lottery ? though year i Knew how Hard to win in Lottery because of only Luck will provide wins.
but i want to have enlightenment about this.

Because i recently wins 5000 lottery tickets and also added those freebies that i converted to ticket in which i accumulate more than 6k all in all tickets but what happen that more winners from the top 20 wins who has only hundreds.

Just a clarity will be enough , thank you.
Provably fair like thequin said is the key to your answer. However I wanted to give you another point of view from provably fair and how it works so that you could understand it as a simpler layman terms type of deal. If you are not aware, there are people who sometimes buy 5+ million tickets, that literally means they have to either win the top prize or they will lose, even lower level ones od not make him any profit at all, if he became the 8th winner on lottery he would lose money, or even second would be hard, just be first or lose money.

Considering there are people who invest THAT much into lottery, we have seen even people with 1 ticket to win, literally 5+ million tickets lost while 1 ticket won. That shows you that it is provably fair and you need just the winner ticket, sure more tickets gives you more chances but this is not about having as much tickets as possible, it is about pure luck.
905  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is the ultimate winner of Bitcoin pump? on: January 26, 2021, 08:16:24 AM
If you look back at 2017 pump it was average users like us who got the benefit of bull run as Bitcoin was easily affordable before the bullrun hence a good portion of users had bitcoin in their portfolio as there were not that much altcoins available in the market. But this year who has gained more ? Is it average users or else institutions and traders who made most of it? I think it's trader's who bought at cheap and sold at high because institutions are yet to cashoutm what do you all think?
The more money you invest, the more profit you’re going to be taking when the price is up. So I would still say that institutions are making the most profit, although you have said that they haven’t sold their coins, well yes they have not sold their coins but they still have the most profit especially those of them that bought huge amounts before the price got seriously bullish, I know very well that some of them have invested before $20,000. The price has reached 40,000 USD before dropping and it’s now at 31k, so these people still have the most profit.

907  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: January 05, 2021, 06:41:03 PM
I have said this before and I am going to say it again; sportsbet.io is putting that Arsenal partnership as the head of the situation, which I understand because Arsenal has a bigger fan base all around the world, thanks to their previous success they are known more, however Southampton is the better one this year.

Southampton is 6th in the league and Arsenal is 11th right now, so this is not just about one game, anyone could beat anyone if the situation permits, sometimes even the greatest teams ever end up losing to worst teams, but this isn't like that, Southampton has been great all year and they are 5 places ahead of arsenal. So, sportsbet.io should probably go with Southampton partnership and jersey deal for marketing, starting with the naming of the topic here as well, instead of focusing on Arsenal, at least that makes more sense for this season.

909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you verify every bet as a gambler? Provably Fair Guide. on: November 25, 2020, 01:15:46 PM
Nope I don't verify every bets as a gambler I just enjoy every round as much as I could.
Besides I only play on trusted and well known gambling sites I don't want to play on new sites that doesn't have much info or player.
Every site is a trusted and well known casino until they are found cheating and busted open by a member who has the time and knowledge to verify their bets. I also bet on reputed sites like primedice but I don't hesitate to verify the bets because it is our duty to ensure the system is working as it is meant to be and yeah the casino have their reputation but it takes minutes to verify.

I don't verify each and every bet though because it becomes a menace to do that and impossible to enjoy when I verify each bet.

910  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Covid effect and Crpto blessing on: November 25, 2020, 12:32:25 PM
That’s the fact, Bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrency environment has been able to create a lot of opportunities for so many people and changed their lives. There are people who would have been without job by now, but they are doing great because they discovered Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market.

There are lots of things that people can do here to earn cryptocurrency, and there are also lots of cryptocurrency companies, even those you don’t know about them yet, that are giving jobs and paying their employees with Bitcoin.
911  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - Withdraw Disabled, is it scam ? on: November 24, 2020, 03:08:02 PM
I have seen exchanges take actions like this and it’s mainly when there is a suspicious activity on your account or when they are having some problems on their website.

Instead of going to Google to look for what other people are saying, it would have been best for you if you just contacted their customer support to know directly from them what’s going on with your withdrawals being rejected, they will be the ones to look into your account and explain much better what’s happening, going to Google doesn’t solve the problem. If you wait for the time you’re supposed to wait, and you don’t get a reply from them, then you can look for help any other place.
912  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best trusted solid exchangers I will nominate them on: November 24, 2020, 09:03:51 AM
Which criteria you have used for giving away these nominations?
Kraken is an average exchange and I prefer to use Binance or Bitstamp for monthly transactions to a bank account.
Poloniex lost the market share after the 2018 crash and they slowly die.
Anyone can use their own criteria but honestly there is no better exchange in my opinion than Binance because I have never encountered any problems and yeah I have used Kraken it is good no doubt but I prefer Binance user interface over any other. It is easy to navigate and using an exchange mostly requires you to have easy navigation so if my choice is asked, it is Binance without a doubt.

Poloniex used to be so good but I don't know why interest from users dropped so much towards them maybe because they listed some bad coins or what, I am not sure and other exchanges like cryptopia already have scammed/hacked so there are not many options left.
913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP Price to $14 - Any thoughts? on: November 24, 2020, 05:23:16 AM
Delusional. This is my thoughts on the matter. If you think that XRP will EVER be 14 dollars, you are delusional. XRP could never be that high, even 1 dollar seems to be something very high for it but lets give it a fair cap at around 5 dollars and nothing more. With that it would reach levels it has never reached ever before and it would almost double the ATH price it has peaked once.

I would say that is enough for XRP natural limits and I think it would never become anything more than that. The reason for this belief is the fact that it is a highly centralized currency that is mainly used by banks and other financial companies to move money around, this is really not a great reason to have any crypto at all and many people know this so they won't buy any of it.
914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake or nitrogen my point of view on: November 24, 2020, 04:44:22 AM
Nice comparison but it will not change my opinion. The Stake team has done many things for completing the steps toward the perfect sports betting bookies but Nitrogen still lacks many available betting features for pro bookies. I didn't use Nitrogen for 8 months but have made many bets on Stake since the first quarter of the current year. The final choice is Stake due to the mentioned reasons but I miss the days when I was betting on the Bet365 or Bwin. The second to none live betting features are not available on both crypto-based gambling bookies, unfortunately.
Yeah, what makes me bet on stake instead of nitrogen and sometimes sportsbet.io is their instant withdrawals. Don't get me wrong sportsbet.io indeed has quick withdrawals but they go through security check and within 10 mins they usually send withdrawals but at times it has taken more than 30 mins and when I am betting on sports I really wish to have my withdrawals asap so stake becomes the first choice.

People have been saying that staking is the one that brings the cake in and indeed it is. Especially if on thwt day only a few people wtihdraw their daily commissions, you can easily bring in good money in that manner. Too bad almost all new coins have a staking feature which takes the originality off but yeah.
Not entirely sure what you mean because we are talking about stake.com the casino and sportsbook not the staking rewards so you might have not read the OP or maybe I am unable to understand what you are saying, never mind though and yeah stake is far better than most sportsbooks and only sportsbet.io comes close if I am asked to compare.
915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: November 23, 2020, 07:47:32 PM
Leicester is not really a team that fights for a title every single season, the fact that they are usually at top 10 every single year since their championship shows how great they are. They finished 12th the year after they became champions and everyone said their championship was a fluke (rightfully so when you look at that season) but after that finished 9th twice in a row and 5th after that and this year they look like they might actually fight for champions league as well.

Normally when a surprise and shocking team becomes champions, they get destroyed by teams offering insane amount of money for their players, both for transfer fee and for salary and that team becomes so bad there have been ones that relegated in few years, whereas Leicester is trying to hold it together, they are not after becoming champions again (at least not more than any other team) they are just trying to stay good.
916  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbooks that aren’t paying out on Biden winning the US Presidential Election on: November 23, 2020, 06:36:01 PM
The problem with those sportsbooks that are not paying right now because "results are not official yet" are basically just trying to keep the money with them for a bit more probably, I don't know what they are hoping for, at the end of the day even though the results are not "official" yet, is there even a %1 chance trump can win? No. Look at what happened in PA for example, it is done deal and not going to change, look at Georgia today, it is done deal (signed literally by a republican registered judge that Biden won) and it is not going to change there.

Look at Michigan, a recount was done and it is not going to change. These are not just some heresay or anything, these are literally judge orders that CAN'T change, so there is absolutely no reason why sportsbooks shouldn't pay on Biden when there is no official way left for Trump to win.
917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be Emotional, Don't be Greedy on: November 23, 2020, 05:56:23 PM
Don't be greedy ,be careful and be wise at this moment because we all know it can change in a seconds.atlcoins now are too good to do investment bu look for a good one and i suggest to do investment in top altcoins.
Yeah and since we are talking about good coins in future I will strongly recommend investing some in PolkaDot because they look rock solid right now and barring any hilarious collapse they should do well.

lots of FOMO, and hopefully there won't be many victims, buy and cry when they come down, be good at analyzing yourself, don't get carried away by FOMO and will lose ... like in 2017, don't repeat the same mistakes.  sell while lucky don't be greedy.
You mean like 2017 this time again it will fall after reaching such heights? I honestly don't think there are chances of price dropping this time because it looks solid and market has matured and is bigger than it was in 2017.

Being greedy is good but you must always secure your capital you invested, for example if a coin you purchased at 50 cents is now trading at a dollar then you should sell half the coins and secure your initial invest and let the remaining coins ride the hype and keep cashing at regular intervals based on how market behaves.
918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just a wish for small projects on: November 23, 2020, 05:15:07 PM
Most of these so called small projects are rubbish projects, some people think we are in 2015/2016 era, that you can just open Ann page here and talk about your idea and people will give you their money to build their idea, now you need to proof with MVP that you can develop what you are talking about. Look at YFI and UNIswap even Sushi though a fork of UNiswap, but first you need to show that people can buy into your idea
Harsh but really true. I believe right now anyone who thinks they can spot a good small project and invest with it is more likely to get trapped in just another scam and lose his money. There are good projects being built but the ratio of scam projects overshadows the good ones and be it ICO or IEO you cannot just trust any project unless you have some personal relations or a big name is involved.

I always knew Polkadot will do good, why? Because they have Gavin Wood the same guy who I believe worked for Ethereum and has some curious history with Vitalik. Once you know a few good and trusted names are associated with projects, they have much better rate of success and I believe DOT is going to be the future.

Jesus Christ, another huge wall of text by some delusional Trump fanatic. How far away from reality you have to be to say "it will probably go to scotus" when scotus literally declined it already, like that's done and already declined and rejected and it is not going there.

Also all the official election workers have already given the results as well, there is no count that is still going on that could change anything neither, and Trump is not even chasing it as much as he did on early days neither, there is less and less cases made right now and at this point aside from 2 states there is none that is getting any attention and even with that two states Biden still wins.

Why are you still hurting yourself over something that is done on the table and not going back? It is over, not just because media or me or anyone else says, it's over "technically" because that is what OFFICIAL results are.
920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 22, 2020, 03:08:07 PM
I can't even keep up with the trades and FA deals right now. I know all the big ones, and I have "seen" all the other ones but I keep forgetting most of them, I feel like Charles Barkley at this point where some bench warmers moving teams like crazy this off-season and that really makes it difficult for me to memorize all the moves.

I feel like this almost all the time during off-seasons whenever there are some moves, however when the league starts and I watch few games and we are a month into the league, I end up knowing like 10 players from each teams roster because you end up seeing them all constantly. Plus playing 2k also makes it simpler for you to memorize players from each team as well but obviously that is going to be harder this year with game being already out before roster changes.
