stats with no rewards.
https://deepbit.net/stats
Are you logged in ? What do you see in the "Reward" column ?

Website was temporarily switched off.
Mining still works.
903  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~4000 Gh/s] DeepBit.net PPS+Prop,instant payouts, we pay for INVALID BLOCKS too on: July 05, 2011, 09:55:51 AM
Firstly GUIMiner shows that I have more than 1000 shares accepted for each GPU, when Deepbit online shows less than half of that!
Shares should never be lost completely, so if you see that you have less shares accepted then they were either invalid, stale or rejected by some other reason.
PM me your login name and I'll check my logs.

Also say for example with this block it says that I contributed
341 Shares out of a total of 1487205 which is 0.0229%
Each block gives out 50 BTC so 0.0229% of that is 0.01145 BTC however in my statistics page it says I only got  0.00450039 which again is less than half of the proportional amount.
I am not hitting the projected earning amount and I am quite troubled by this. Can anyone help?
Do you have a single worker or not ? Are some of your workers mining in PPS mode ?
904  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~4000 Gh/s] DeepBit.net PPS+Prop,instant payouts, we pay for INVALID BLOCKS too on: July 05, 2011, 09:52:44 AM
I think deepbit is having little to much traffic, Seeing my gpu load on both my cards drop to 0% then back to 99% every 30sec. Just heads up.
No, our servers aren't overloaded, check your internet connection.
Also check if you have any packet loss between your PC and pit.deepbit.net
905  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~4000 Gh/s] DeepBit.net PPS+Prop,instant payouts, we pay for INVALID BLOCKS too on: July 05, 2011, 09:49:21 AM
Feature request: is it possible to provide real-time stat?
Sorry, no, this would make poolhopping easier.
May be it will be possible after implementing third payout mode, but not now.
906  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Cooperative mining (2000GHash/s) on: July 04, 2011, 07:21:41 AM
Please implement that ntime shizzle...
About half my shares are rejected, and that's NOT A GOOD DEAL FOR ME!
I might have to find another pool if you wont...

half rejected is indeed bad. can you update more often perhaps.

Update more often? I don't really get what you mean.. If you mean update the miner, then I'm already at the newest version of DiabloMiner...
The reason I use DiabloMiner is that it is the only one that works optimally for me... The others just crash
Try switching to previous version, the last one is broken (uses time rolling without checking if the pool supports it).
907  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~4000 Gh/s] DeepBit.net PPS+Prop,instant payouts, we pay for INVALID BLOCKS too on: July 04, 2011, 04:00:53 AM
Thank you Tycho for your answer. I've already read this at the website. I was more interested in your long term experience. Over let's say 2-3 weeks, which option did produce maximum results?
Proportional when the pool was lucky and PPS otherwise :)

It's IMPOSSIBLE to give you correct answer because it's different each day. On average our luck is normal, but in last days we got less luck.
908  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: PPS or Proportional - Recommendations on: July 04, 2011, 03:39:45 AM
As I am new to this pool I am still a bit confused about which earnings method I should use for maximum income.
(I know, there are 167 pages of possible answers but really, finding this answer in 1670 posting would be a long way to go..)
There is a description at the registration and configuration pages.
Long story short: if the pool is lucky, you'll get more with Proportional, if the pool is unlucky, you can get more with PPS.
But you can't guess how good will be the luck in next hours.
This doesn't depends on your or pool's hashrate.

Thanks :)

Weird... I refresh my account page and there's a message saying

If you can't receive our e-mail, please contact us
Sorry, I just enabled this message. Now it's hidden for old requests.

I changed my pw but have received no follow up email.  I tried to lock down my legit address forever and it says it's sending an email confirmation.  I have no email from deepbit.
Looks like you are using yahoo.com ?

Huh

911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trojan.NSIS.Miner.a and NO botnet Cheating on DeepBit on: June 30, 2011, 09:54:16 PM
Hats off to Tycho for blocking botnets automatically! Remember, it's causing a loss of 3% pool fees.
That's not how I read the screenshot. Look at the account's current hash rate, about 4 GH. So he's letting them get work and submit it, he's likely just made it so it isn't accumulating bitcoins for it - meaning instead of a 3% share of their work he's getting a 100% share of it.
No. In this "warning" state at the moment of taking this screenshot all account/workers configuration options are disabled, but mining still continues and he gets his reward.
Then if we don't receive any explanation from user, his workers are blocked and he won't get any work (his miners will stop).
Mining operations on this account were already blocked when I saw this topic.

This red message turned out to be a bit misleading, I'll correct it now.

[Tycho] help! Not change wallet!
e-mail @mail.ru.
confirmation don't send
Looks like @mail.ru added our URL to their spam-list recently.
Try asking mail.ru technical support about reasons of blocking messages containing links to deepbit.net (from no-reply@deepbit.net)

I am currently mining at btc guild with 3 gh/s and getting a stale rate of about 2.3%. If I mine with deepbit, will my stale shares be less?
Depends on the cause of those stales. You can just try and find out :)
914  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: DeepBit pool thread for newbies on: June 29, 2011, 09:39:16 PM
Geforce 8600GT

The problem is that I'm getting shares in the CPU, one each hour, but I'm not getting shares on the GPU (which is 5 times faster) and it's strange, cause its constantly giving shares to the CPU worker, and the GPU worker hasn't found anything, they have been running for about 16 hours now.

I checked in my account, and the cpu worker says 17 shares, but the GPU worker says 0, and they are both running without problems in my PC, no error messages present, they are both showing the hash rate and sometimes the long poll notification.
GeForce 8600 is really really slow for bitcoin mining. What hashrate are you getting with it ? May be it hadn't solved a share yet ?
Also you can PM me your login name to check.
915  Other / Beginners & Help / DeepBit pool thread for newbies on: June 28, 2011, 02:26:27 PM
Looks like new forum members can't post in our "main" thread, so there is a separate thread for questions.

New mining pool with fair reward distribution: http://deepbit.net !

Service fee is 3%, no block confirmation is needed (your reward won't be recalled if block doesn't gets confirmed).

EDIT: Now you can try some new exciting feature - optional Pay-Per-Share mode is enabled in my pool. You can choose payments method for any of your workers, look at your account page for workers configuration. Current rate is 0.00003262705594458 BTC per share.

Our advantages
  • We notify your bitcoin miner about new block with the help of long polling. This allows us minimize the number of stale shares. (You can get up to a several percents higher results)
    Protocol description
  • We pay you for every solved block, even if it later fails to mature (up to 1.2% more)
  • You can take your reward at ANY moment, just press "Instant payout" button
  • You can choose between two payment modes
  • We credit your balance instantly, without 120 blocks delay
  • We have open and free registration and do not limit the number of connections or users

If you already know how to use RPC miners, you can register a new account at http://deepbit.net and join the test, using deepbit.net hostname and 8332 port. Your e-mail is your login.
You can run separate miners on one account or create additional workers.

m0mchil's poclbm is recommended, DiabloMiner, puddinpop and jgarzik miners should work fine too.

m0mchil's:
poclbm.exe -d0 --host=deepbit.net --port=8332 --user=example@example.com --pass=password
(Sometimes -d0 is your CPU and sometmes it's your GPU, you may need to use -d1 with some configurations)

DiabloMiner:
java -cp target\libs\*;target\DiabloMiner-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar -Djava.library.path=target\libs\natives\windows com.diablominer.DiabloMiner.DiabloMiner -u example@example.com -p password -o deepbit.net -r 8332 -g 5

ufasoft's SSE2 CPU miner:
bitcoin-miner.exe -a 5 -o http://deepbit.net:8332 -u example@example.com -p password

What is Long Polling ? Explained here.

This poster doesn't contains the word "bitcoin".
Even if people will try to find out, what will they type in google ? Smiley
917  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~4000 Gh/s] DeepBit.net PPS+Prop,instant payouts, we pay for INVALID BLOCKS too on: June 27, 2011, 10:46:11 PM
While I could understand the current block not being switched, the change actually took 6 blocks each way, equal to about 5 hours on average after I changed the settings.
I hope this bug is fixed now.
By the way, current block should be partially switched - you may get half of it as PPS and another half as Prop. Mode switch may take a couple of minutes.
918  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~4000 Gh/s] DeepBit.net PPS+Prop,instant payouts, we pay for INVALID BLOCKS too on: June 27, 2011, 09:57:03 PM
Has anyone noticed the proportional payouts have been lacking in the last 48 hours?
I'm pulling 3.0 GHs and alloscomp estimates 2.19 B/day, 4.38 B over 48 hrs, I've made just under 3.2 in 48h
Have you checked the pool's luck in last 24 hours at the stats page ?
919  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~4000 Gh/s] DeepBit.net PPS+Prop,instant payouts, we pay for INVALID BLOCKS too on: June 27, 2011, 06:12:08 PM
I'm quite new to deepbit, I had my workers set to PPS, and all I seem to be seeing is:

27 Jun 2011 16:32:57
308 / 4554436
262.206 MH/s
+ 0.00000000 BTC

ie, I've not made any BTC from deepbit in the last 24 hours, even though I'm pumping about 300MH/s into it.
PPS reward is not shown in the history column and on the stats page.
Your balance will just increase every hour.
920  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Stale shares % going up for no apparent reason? on: June 27, 2011, 04:31:40 PM
For reasons I can't explain, my % of stale shares has gone through the roof this morning (just woke up).  Yesterday, they were averaging (as usual) single digit stales.  Now I'm seeing 10%, 20% even more than 30% on some of my machines.
Nothing has changed on my end.  Any idea why this might be?
What miner do you use ? Have you tried to restart it ?
