901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: ♬♬♬ [BOUNTY] Opus - Decentralized Music Sharing Platform ♬♬♬ [FINISHED] on: August 26, 2017, 10:31:41 PM
dont forget that the allocation for signature campaign has been increased by 5% so it will be 40% for signature campaign
here the prooft : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2011082.msg20434560#msg20434560
Even if only 35% of total bounty pool will be given to signature campaign, I think it is okay but drastically changing it at the end of the campaign seems quite bad. For now changes are not official as said in slack so let's wait for their announcement here if the amount we will receive according to spreadsheet is final or not. I hope it will be recalculated and total pool will be according to the percent posted in OP.

Crowdsale has now finally ended.
Sold around 130M Opus token equivalent to 17,833 ETH (Almost 6 Million USD).
https://etherscan.io/address/0x1426c1f91b923043f7c5fbabc6e369e7cbaef3f0
https://etherscan.io/token/0x4355fC160f74328f9b383dF2EC589bB3dFd82Ba0#readContract

Stick around for more infos about exchanges and such.

Thanks to all who participated.

Thanks for the updates julerz12 I think I would keep the signature for now until I find a new signature campaign that I would like to join. Can I just ask when can we see the total amount of opt tokens that we will get on spreadsheet? I know that we can compute it by ourselves but still I would like to see from spreadsheet just how much we will get because I am not that confident on my calculations.
903  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Is Not Really A Good Money on: August 24, 2017, 01:20:47 PM
There really is no perfect system. Every time that you try to accommodate one need ,, you end up either creating another issue or making some small flaw larger. The same is true for Bitcoin. In order to keep things completely anonymous you have to do away with services like exchanges and other online services. In order to keep things completely decentralized you have to do the same thing.
Bitcoin might not be perfect but no one needs to do away with services and other online services just to send money online anonymously as one can send using his/her own wallet without ever revealing his identity at all. By doing that the real essence of bitcoin is still there even without using services to make one more anonymous. I agree on the part though that one need to use exchanges. In order to keep bitcoin market decentralized, all must continue to use decentralized exchanges.
904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do i need to know about create a new Altcoin? on: August 23, 2017, 01:49:57 PM
Hi guys im sure that question asked million time by others and there is so many different answers but i wanna learn that which programming language do i need to know?
to create pool - wallet and altcoin what do i need to know ?
i know its impossible to improve an altcoin but i just want to try at my free times
thanks for help me
and sorry for my poor english  Cheesy

You certainly need to only know how to use crypto in order to create an altcoin of your own. You can create one at waves lite app without the hassle of ever coding for many things because when you set up in waves lite, they would provide you wallet, an exchange and much better accessibility than coding an altcoin yourself. It's operations would be much cheaper too. It only cost 1 waves to create an altcoin on their platform.
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Vitalik Token - Get Part Of The Success!!! on: August 22, 2017, 09:28:59 PM

Vitalik Token
Get part of the success

Site: Http://www.VitalikToken.com

INFO:

Total Tokens supply: 1 Vitalik!
Because the world can barely handle with the first one.

Sale period: August 22nd, 2017 - September 22nd, 2017.

How much Vitalik will you get for each ETH you contribute?
well.. that's simple. almost as simple as making an ethereum smart contract.
The formula:
1 ETH = 0.0001 Vitalik.

Bonus:
If you contribute at least 1 ETH you get 1+1 Vitalik.
Example:
If I contribute 4.5 ETH = I get 0.009 Vitalik.
And so on..

The Competition!
Who will come up with the best Vitalik fact?
1st: 5% of all contribution
2nd: 3% of all contribution.
3rd: 1% of all contribution.
The prize will be sent in ETH / VTK / Donation to ALS foundation (each winner will decide for himself).

Vitalik Facts!
  • Vitalik is primarly known as a co-founder of Ethereum.
  • 3 different model agencies suggested Vitalik to be a model.
  • Vitalik declined all the model agencies offers. Just because he thought they won't be able to handle with his beauty.
  • Putin has a monthly meeting with Vitalik so he can consult with him what is the best for Russia.
  • When Vitalik was 3 years old he counted to infinity.
  • Vitalik has about 550,00 ETH. Probably after this ICO he will have only 540,000.
  • Vitalik can mine dragon glass. He also slept with the red woman (after he took off her necklace).
Want to get some more facts? Get in the site! And join the competition!

In the bottom line – Why are we really doing it?
All the money we collect will be donated to ALS foundations.
So your money will actually go for a good purpose.
Why ALS? I hope you will never know how hard is to take care of a child with this terrible disease.

Go to the website. it's pretty funny.  Cool

I believe that this should be transferred on announcement(altcoins) section. If I understand it right, the crowdsale for this token is meant to be donation money for some with ALS? and instead of just regular donation donors will receive the vitalik in return? Clarify me if im wrong. Also besides the donation, what use would this token have on real world or online? Also if you are going to use the name of Vitalik Buterin, does he know about your crowdsale and approves of you using his name on your ICO?
906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To Many SCAM! on: August 21, 2017, 07:41:09 AM
The sad story is many people start ICOs just for the sake of stealing money from people who are desperate for easily making money.
So you can see lots and lots of them around the internet but most of them are totally lies and scams.

Before sending any money here or there make enough researches about the project itself, the team behind it and then decide if it's gonna work. Remember that even if you make a topic asking for the most trusted projects, that's not the final answer (it's you)
I agree with you since most ICO's that I see nowadays looks like they just intend to grab money fast or they only intend to make some money out of their ICO and if they got enough returns from their crowdsale, they will most likely stop it.  The best way to stop yourself from being scammed is to not invest on ICO's unless you want to earn some money and if that is the case, the best way to avoid scams is to research a coin first.
907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to decide the right time to Pull Out your investment in crypto? on: August 20, 2017, 07:27:43 AM
Very valuable input, Set Targets - 100 % Agree. Without target or knowing where we wanna go, we simply cannot achieve anything. We are just confused and calculating all the time. Only if we know our target once we start our journey, will we end up reaching the destination.
Targets most of the time are  not reached because only a few number of coins do a X10 or X20 pump in the past and even if you set target, if price wont reach it, you will be forever be bagholding your coins until its too late. The best way to decide the right time to pull out your investment in crypto is to be updated on the news to know if the hype is over or not. If you feel that the hype is over, pull out your investment on a particular coin and move on to another one.
908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the max amount of money that you guys earned from ICO? on: August 20, 2017, 04:16:12 AM
There are many who earned $1M on Ethereum's ICO but usually those that did won't say and those that say didn't do it
The post quoted above is right since if I myself have earned 1M$ from ethereum's ICO, why would I share it to the public that I earned that amount of money in ETH ICO? For me if I were in the place of the one who earned 1M$ from an ICO, it is the same as saying that "I have a lot of money on my crypto currency wallet, rob me if you can." To be honest, I myself havent earned that much of an amount from an ICO but those who did would not post it here.
909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth worth the investing? on: August 19, 2017, 07:27:42 AM
pool discussion on this

will Eth rise somemore and replace BCC? Will it be the next coins to target for....
I dont think that eth will rise to replace bcc in it's current position after all, eth is just meant to be used for smart contracts, not to be like bitcoin and be used on daily transactions. All I can say is that it is dangerous to invest in eth right now specially that it is on a downward trend. Although it is dangerous to invest into eth now, this price might be a good price to rebuy some eth but I cant say it for certain right now.
910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gambler or investor? on: August 19, 2017, 05:29:30 AM
I am a gambler and an investor at the same time. I invest on coins which I see is promising and I research well before investing on an altcoin to avoid having losses in trading. At the same time I am a gambler that gambles using a low amount because I only do it just for fun, and not for anything like gaining profit or whatsoever but nevertheless, I want to gain profit in gambling as much as possible. Gambling can be fun sometimes but not all the time.
911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fucking Coins on: August 19, 2017, 04:47:07 AM
so many fucking coins and tokens it's such a mess
It makes me nervous and I just want this stopped
there is very little value but a lot of inflated tokens
stop this
If you dont like it then ignore them, you are right though that there are many tokens right now and ICO's. Unlike you, I like to see that there are so many coins and tokens because those with little value but inflated tokens are the ones who give gains to those who invest on them as some of them were pump and dump coin, so get early and get out when you want. All you need to do if you want this stopped is to ignore it because this probably wont stop soon.
912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for: TIPS on how to identify pshing sites (altcoin wallets) on: August 18, 2017, 11:52:16 AM
why not just use the well-known ones?

the wallet was myetherwallet.com was it not well known?
Myetherwallet is well known but there are many phishing sites now that looks legit. The best one can do to stop phishing sites is to bookmark official sites and always check if it is secured. For some detailed steps to identify and determine one, follow the guide made by myetherwallet themselves there are ways there to keep your funds safe and secure on your ethereum wallets.
913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoincash is around 527.74$ now! on: August 18, 2017, 11:04:59 AM
i opened coinmarket place and i saw bitcoincash coin skyrockted to 527$ about 76% increase form its actual price

It is slowly going down right now, and it is a good sign that the pump that has happened is obviously because of hype or the possibility of it being manipulated. I dont expect bitcoincash to ever dethrone bitcoin and dont just look at the price, just look at what everyone uses for transactions, it is bitcoin and not bcc. Those who use bitcoincash oftenly use it for speculation so even if bitcoin cash would go up way above bitcoin price, I wont say that it has dethroned bitcoin unless most of bitcoin users have already switched into bitcoincash.
914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Red-Pulse (RPX) First NEO ICO simplifying investment and industry participation on: August 18, 2017, 08:04:50 AM
This ICO seems to be centered around China’s investment industry participation services and focus to help bridge the informational gap that tends to overwhelm and confuse people.
They are also one of the first ICO's under the amazing NEO platform which has skyrocket recently.

Looking to see what the rest of the community thinks of this one.

https://coin.red-pulse.com/

This seems to be a good coin since it is the first ICO that will be hosted by NEO platform so I expect great things from it just because it is the pioneer of hosting ICO's on NEO's tech. Also, Chinese are serious about their investments, so there will probably be many people from China that will use this app to gain more information about their investments. For now I will see whether or not people would take interest in it or not, because if they were, I might invest on the ICO.
915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin that Pays people to lose Weight. on: August 17, 2017, 09:43:42 PM
Just got a notification from ICOLert on an upcoming Altcoin called "FAT Coin". It basically pays people to lose weight. Their ICO will launched tomorrow August 18th.

The idea makes a lot of sense...hope it suceeds.
It should probably rebrand to "Fitness Coin" or something as people not overweight or obesed would likely use its Application

Their site: www.fatcoin.club

What benefits will the developers get from developing this coin? The idea is great but how will they even earn if they will pay those who lose weight? Instead of paying them why not make it a service with detailed guide for ever person to how to lose weight and those who use the service would have to pay them? And the one who lost weight the most will be paid that way the developers would earn from it.
916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: E-shops selling mining machines - true or fake ones ? on: August 17, 2017, 09:13:14 AM
hello everybody, I have a question about the eshops that resell all kinds of mining machines, outside of manufacturers like Bitmain, EHSminer, etc. (always sold out !!)
are they real or fake? anybody already bought from them?
here is the list:
1.  https://asic-minerworld.com/product/crypto-coin-mining-rig-8x-gtx1070-8gb-eth-ethereum-240-mhs-dcrzcash/

2. http://minermarkets.com/product/antminer-d3-15ghs-dashcoin-pre-order-september-4/

3.  https://asicminermarket.com/product/x11-dash-miner-pinidea-drx-1150m/

4.  https://shop.pinidea.io/index.php/product/asic-x11-miner-dr-100/

and maybe alibaba.com and aliexpress.com

Anybody has an experience ?
thank you for unswer.
I have bought from alibaba and aliexpress and they are legit. The mining rigs that they sell there is genuine ones although there are fake ones so choose carefully but the one I got from this two site is a miner that is in good condition. I don't know about the others linked, I haven't tried  the others myself only alibaba and aliexpress.
917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins with china connection ! on: August 17, 2017, 12:20:39 AM
Can someone please tell me current altcoins with connection with china or any website i can look up?

i will admitted it i cant beat pumpers from china so i will just follow them
If you want an altcoin connected to China, then you might want to look into OPUS, the ICO I advertise in my signature since their team are mostly Chinese. It is only in ICO stage though so it can't be pumped not dumped right now. If you want another one, look into NEO/ antshares. These two that I have mentioned are the two coins that will probably give one more profit.
918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best ICO on: August 16, 2017, 12:49:36 PM
Hey guys,
what ICOs have the highest potential to be successful this summer ? I'm especially interested in the tech based projects, are there any new tech developments coming out this summer ? Any new blockchain as a service platforms ? I don't know where to invest, but I love technical upgrades so i decided to invest in the ICO which can convinces me the most with its tech innovation.
For me the best ICO around now is OPUS, they are offering a real decentralized music streaming platform unlike those other ICO's that have similar concept but isnt really decentralized at all. There are more ICOs now that are good considering their idea and the team behind them just look around at the announcement(altcoins) section of this forum you will find many announcement threads of ICO's there and just judge based on your opinion what is the best for you.
919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will LTC die ... on: August 16, 2017, 11:44:44 AM
if BTC will solve its Problems?
Like what the post above said, LTC will not die even if bitcoin solved is problem. Even if it has only segwit going with it right now and fast confirmation of transactions and cheaper fees compared to bitcoin it will still be a good coin to hedge into when bitcoin price movements are going crazy. Also, it would be just like silver and it would just get lesser attention than what it experience now but it will definitely have some value in it after all, it is meant to be the silver of cryptocurrency.
920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The BTC price is taking a toll on alt coins or not? on: August 15, 2017, 10:24:33 PM
It was obvious that the pump in altcoins would not last forever. People enjoyed the ride more then they're suppose to enjoy. Then the correction phase was coming, it was coming very loud. People who saw this, took their precaution and they withdrawn their assets.
You are right and those who got out at the right time and just took their fill of enjoyment are the ones who enjoys it now. I personally enjoys the movements of market now and I hope my decisions made earlier was right. My thoughts about this is to just sell some percent of btc stash so that you, OP won't regret if it ever go down in price and vice versa.
