901  Economy / Economics / Re: PayPal to allow cryptocurrency buying, selling and shopping on its network on: October 21, 2020, 09:49:58 PM

I can’t believe we are all ahead of them. Time to moon?
It is not a rumour and people have started engaging the platform for such service, some even believe it is responsible for recent price pump, whenever I see bitcoin respond to every good news in the market I believe the times have changed and the sentiment is right. My challenge is how long can we see this before they stop it again, in 2016 we have series of this development which look like a form of investment for them also but they left in the bear market.
902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies have the lowest transaction fees? on: October 21, 2020, 02:13:00 PM
In my opinion, the cryptocurrency that has a low transaction fee is Tron (TRX) because apart from low gas costs TRX also has a transaction fee model which is used to store information on the blockchain
I actually started using TRX recently to save my transaction fee, since it is available on almost every good volume exchange I have been using it to transfer and buy back any of the asset. Most times I still preserve the value of the coin after transfer and in some case attain a higher value. The transaction is equally fast and it has liquidity
903  Economy / Economics / Re: Crisis will be new normal but its not bad on: October 20, 2020, 07:54:56 PM

The Fiat currencies are so great that Elite Don't have really Plan to kill Fiat currencies.

Im sure the Trump and Elite like the World how it is.

I don't accept it that Trump or whatever leader in the world and their elites has power to change the world. They can make policies but depends on the people to follow the policies. Power belongs to the people, therefore it is the people that have power to cause such global change. Most countries are now practicing democracy which is simply the government of the will of the people.

Power belongs to the people, check most revolution that caused change and removing of government are people oriented. From the recent succession in Africa to the times in the past in Asia, Europe etc.
Democracy can be deceiving and I dont think it has been successful anywhere in the world if the system of government does not a way to check the leaders. I so much like the parliamentary system of Government practiced in the United Kingdom, where there is no sovereign power by the leaders. Some cases of shared leadership with president and prime minister without leader sole power. The excesses of Trump government with use of social media and relationship with his subordinate can be too mush
904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO may hit as low as $0.07 on: October 20, 2020, 06:55:22 PM
I dont like such a post that was not substantiated with good information to prove his opinion. We all know anything can happen to any coin but I think a better sentimental market like this will demand a fleshy information. Although the coin had lost so much in the last month but the price decline from $17 to $0.07 is more than the 90% loss in the bear, which look ridiculous. As an Asian coin they put so much support for the coin and the community seem large enough to sustain the value. If NEO gets lower than $1 in this market, I believe it will be gone from this space.
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 🔥 YFSWAP.FINANCE 🔥 FIRST DeFi Version OF BITCOIN & ETHEREUM on: October 20, 2020, 06:41:25 PM
How many coin is the project releasing into this market?
if more than 2 coins, why?
906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time that there will be no new altcoin projects anymore on: October 19, 2020, 10:14:16 AM
The challenges are not in the new coins but the effective use cases of the coin, we have over 6000 coin on the marketcap, some without exchanges( delisted or scam), although those without real exchange list and volume are removed from coin market charts after few weeks. THe cycle looks to remove some excesses and inadequacies in the space, bring new idea that could be applicable to finance market and technology like with the Defi, NFts etc. Community, roadmap and team will still be important for a long term project.
907  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your strategy in taking profit on: October 19, 2020, 05:46:53 AM
am not denying the the fact that it is possible to obtain those kind of profits as people have done in the past, the issue is the difficulty of that task and whether or not newbie traders can do so reliably and the answer to that is no, a newbie trader cannot reasonably expect to obtain those kind of huge profits, the only ones that can do that reliably are the ones that truly understand the technology and spend their time reading hundreds of white papers until they find a project that is good and that no one else has noticed and then hold their coins for years.

And such a thing cannot be pulled off by a newbie which for the most part should just stick to bitcoin and even then the chances that they lose all their money are very high.
Low marketcap and price of coin give chances of larger profit. 500 million marketcap coin with large community and price lower than $0.02 can make 45x easily with consistency, the lower cap require smaller fund for pumping, just some buy back can do a lot to increase the price. Bitcoin at the present price looks difficult to make 20x. We may not have to talk about some dirty things that pumps the price but speculation goes with manipulation
908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Im planning to invest in Ethereum. Is this a good plan? on: October 19, 2020, 05:32:01 AM
You can investment on eth, without any doubt. Ethereum 2.0 update and the imceasing volumes of DEFI projects will make eth powerful to reach the highest price ever. Its very clearly noticeable that Both of those are the main reason behind dramatically increase the demand for Eth in recent months. SO it's good plan to buy some eth & hodl tight for
Increasing DeFi project will definitely affect the Ethereum price. It won't be surprising if Eth will cross 500 USD mark before this year end. It is definitely worth investing in Eth now, while it's only around 300.
I will also consider the renewed interest in ICO in the market. Increase in decentralized exchanges because of defi has increase trade in ethereum and the probability of increase in number of Defi and DEX is High. Traders also expect NFTs to be more engages in the market and see more traction for the next rally. If all this can generate high coin/eth trade, increase transaction fee in ethereum and fiat/ethereum, ethereum will enjoy large flow of fund into it.
909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government can seize company reserve Bitcoin? on: October 18, 2020, 05:49:00 AM
Government can not restrict the wallet from all forms of transaction except restrict the user or owner the access to the wallet. Anonymity may not be the feature to boast on but the decentralization is still retained and all what the user need is the access password or private key anywhere in the world where there is internet. Twitter and under organization will like to function under the law and bitcoin unlike some token has little restriction on use
910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who said that ICOs are dead? on: October 15, 2020, 12:48:00 PM
ICOs are dead whether you like it or not, ICO fund raising are only available for those who are sure of their projects, projects that very good can use any old or new fund raising ways and they will still raise incredible amount of money, it's not about the fund raising way either old or new, it's about the quality of the project that's wants to raise fund.
Are you really watching the crowdfund lately? There are fewer IEOs than we used to see but many coins are getting listed. Some fund are from private sale but more public sales are coming even with hardcap at over $20million. Investors are careful than in previous year and it is still early to say how the sentiment will be in coming months. What will matter is the success rate of most projects on getting listed?
911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some of the benefits of Bitcoin ... on: October 15, 2020, 12:27:49 PM
Bitcoin has several benefits especially the fact that you can make anonymous transactions in a very fast manner. Also, having access to all your funds without any control from banks and other centralized institutions puts every crypto investor full control of his funds.
if you study people's reaction to bitcoin anonymity,is not attractive, however it is no more considered to be anonymous. Recently an agency put up some fund to break the privacy of monero, although privacy feature has not produce any outstanding profit for investor recently and the value had relied on bitcoin price movement for a while now. Bitcoin is not considering improving its privacy.
912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is DeFi over? then old coins revolution ? on: October 14, 2020, 10:06:09 PM
The occurrence in Defi now is also compare with the 2016 dump with DAO, and this didnt deprive the eventual pump in 2017. Some believe a level of repetition is expected in this market for Defi like in DAO. My only fear is the hack of the saved fund and exit scam but the financial economics is simple and could give profit for all long term investors. The dump has not prevent new Defi from having their ICOs and they had been successful in past few days. i want to positive even the 60% dump in price of the Defi market.
913  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When You trade Do You use VPN? on: October 14, 2020, 09:23:11 PM
VPN won't help you much trust me, if the security agencies of your nation wanna find you; VPNs can't do much.

I sincerely think that running a dedicated tor node for the purpose will be better than spending money on VPNs.
Do you think Tor is safe for most transaction of cryptocurrency? Trying to avoid the Government can expose you to worse hack or scam except you know how to protect yourself using tor for crypto trade.
914  Economy / Economics / Re: I lost my job, how about you guys? on: October 14, 2020, 09:10:56 PM
Fiat is not the reason why you lost your job.
Cryptocurrency alone won't save you, online gigs and jobs will.
If you get a job online, you can get paid in online fiat or in crypto so that's another argument that fiat didn't fail you at all.

IMO he is not to blame for the effect of the pandemic on his Job and we all know that all Jobs cant be done online. He does look not to rely on cryptocurrency alone, even some who made huge money in cryptocurrency panic at the beginning of the crisis. When you got your money and couldnt buy what you want, that could be a degree of failure of Fiat. With money at hand, some could not purchase their daily necessities ( tissue paper) and protective equipment for the disease.
915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust newbies that starts projects? on: October 13, 2020, 09:15:01 PM
Maybe the OP meant bounty manager or moderator of announcement thread. Sometimes the new account was open for the project, not necessarily that the moderator or manager is new. In the course of the duty, it will be obvious that the manager is not actually new to the forum, the process is a skill which must have been acquired. If the OP is actually new, one might need to be careful and research the track record outside the forum. ICOs with new individual in cryptocurrency is a scam.
916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Free TON - Proof-of-Stake Blockchain Network on: October 13, 2020, 09:00:36 AM
Interested in thes thing, how does free distribution comes in play?
Games? Airdrops?
At the moment the distribution through bounty does not look free to me because of the activities, but compare to same activities they pay with good budget. Airdrop has its advantage to attract new traders and improve liquidity, swap had a lofty airdrop recently and they are not stupid. Most recent IEO on Binance conduct bounty campaign; Injective protocol, Cartesi, Harmony etc TON has a big community which can grow bigger they need to teach the community how to make use of the coin
917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Not User Friendly Yet on: October 13, 2020, 08:43:07 AM
Bitcoin Not User Friendly Yet

What are 5 things you think are needed to make Bitcoin more easy for people to use.

Thoughts
I expect the 5 factors to be discussed, It doesn't give the right insight to the opening message. Bitcoin had grown to a the leading, reliable, portable and secure asset in the world, which makes it incomparable . The factors I could have considered is the slow transaction and volatility, bitcoin transaction has improve over the years with speed of transaction, faster than 4 years ago with increase number of transaction daily. The volatility is an advantage when its going up and the most attractive feature of the asset, we only need to learn how take the advantage of volatility
918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10 projects that will fly in 2020-2021 on: October 12, 2020, 04:18:32 PM
There is no surprises in the list, I expect almost every investor to be able to predict and name those coin on the OP. They are the safest coin with minimal risk in the market and their community is getting bigger. Whales know this but they are looking for better idea that can go beyond the parabolic market and stand as climbing platform for the next market season. This year has produced many surprises with large ROI from some investments and I expect more in coming months
919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi hacks [history] on: October 12, 2020, 04:12:33 PM
Most of the hack in the list did have that uproar and discussion in most cryptocurrency social media platform. Is not that is not important, it is just that the market sentiment had changed. Most people that endured the bear market have not recovered from the long down trend in the market and dont trust the movement of the price in the market but the whales are more active and wont allow such bad news to spoil the market. they will sustain the traded volume for most of the defi though there could be time to take few profit.
920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you determine if an altcoin is worth investing in? on: October 11, 2020, 09:17:50 PM
It is the most difficult part of investing in this space. If one follow the so called expert opinion every time in investment you can still be scammed, experts will still blame for following blindly with doing your own research. Most times I start from the expert opinion to doing my own research, looking for weakness in their choicest projects. My focus is mainly on the team and Idea, If I dont find a reliable used case and also unfollow any previous failed idea
