903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BEST ICO for 2018 on: April 17, 2018, 08:21:49 PM
What you think that is the bet ICO to invest now? No ref fish please, i want a trustable opinion.

There are numerous Initial Coin Offerings available today, yet I have a remark you. Talenthon, a UK Recruitment Platform, is a standout amongst other ICO projects for 2018 and is without a doubt a definitive ICO to put resources into this year.

Talenthon has planned and designed a best in class biological community that in fact assesses competitor's aptitudes, approves their CVs and checks their references (a business' fantasy) all fueled by cryptocurrency, their talent coin, utilizing Blockchain and Gamification Technology.
904  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nothing is more powerful as an idea whose time has come on: April 17, 2018, 07:50:47 PM
The Internet. Only one word, and how much it means. How much the Internet has changed the global human life. Starting from daily communication through various messengers and ending with the management of the strategic nuclear arsenal by world superpowers, everything is inextricably linked with the use of the global Internet. It took relatively not much time for the Internet to "take over" at least half the world's population and more.

Blockchain. Today every 10th heard about the Blockchain, every 50th is interested in Blockchain, and only every 100th knows what it is. Blockchain is a database that exists in a decentralized manner, i.e. the network data of the Blockchain are stored entirely from all participants of the network simultaneously and therefore can not be replaced or deleted, since all changes are confirmed by all network members. This is the value of the Blockchain. Entire state institutions and governments are actively implementing Blockchain technology, and more and more of the largest corporations use it.

Five years ago the Blockchain was unknown in the broad masses. The influence rendered by the Blockchain on the world financial system is very significant. Leading world states take this technology into account in their financial and economic development strategies. And some experts say that the Blockchain has a special role in the plans of the so-called "World Government" to change the global financial system.

It is no longer reasonable to reject in every possible way the study of the Blockchain, its your potential and your personal role in the delopment of this technology and products like a peer-to-peer electronic cash systems founded on the Blockchain like BTC.

My conclusion - everybody will undoubtedly be a participant of this technology. It's only a matter of time. The Blockchain will certainly become the inevitable reality of daily human life, as it happened with the Internet, and who knows, maybe the point of no return has already come.

The hottest and most intriguing technologies in the market are Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain and Internet of Things (IoT)
Back in 90's, when we were entering a new phase of technology disruption. The Internet technology is poised to make and transform the way we work. The Blockchain is the next phase of disruption is going to change the way we survive better.

The blockchain is the backbone technology behind Bitcoin, it is decentralized and shared with a public ledger that tracks and keeps a record of all valid transactions or digital events.
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XVG] Verge - Speculation & Discussion on: April 17, 2018, 07:09:34 PM

906  Economy / Economics / Re: The advantages of bitcoin on: April 17, 2018, 02:49:20 PM
Freedom of payment - any amount of money can be paid and received instantly and anywhere. No bank holidays, no borders, no imposition. Bitcoin allows its users to completely control their money.

Very low fees - there is no handling charge or very little handling fee for the current payment of bitcoin. The user can include the handling fee in the transaction to obtain processing priority and receive the transaction confirmation from the network faster. In addition, there are merchant processors that help merchants deal with transactions, convert bitcoin into legal tender daily and deposit funds directly into merchants' bank accounts. Because these services are based on bitcoins, they can provide a much lower fee than PayPal or credit card networks.

Reduce the risk of merchants - bitcoin transactions are safe, irrevocable, and do not contain customer sensitivity or personal information. This avoids the loss caused by fraud or fraudulent withdrawal, and there is no need to comply with PCI standards. In places where credit CARDS cannot be used or fraud rates are too high, businesses can easily expand new markets. The net result is lower costs, bigger markets, and less administrative costs.

Security and control - bitcoin users are completely in control of their transactions; Businesses cannot force fees that may or may not be found in other payment methods. Paying with bitcoin doesn't have to be tied to personal information in transactions, which provides great protection against identity theft. Bitcoin users can also protect their money by backing up and encrypting it.

Transparency and neutrality - all information about the money supply itself is stored in a block chain, and anyone can check and use it in real time. No individual or organization can control or manipulate the bitcoin protocol because it is password protected. This makes bitcoin's core believed to be completely neutral, transparent and predictable.

Of course, the Freedom in the payment system, control and Security, transparency, low fee and fewer risk for the merchant is a few significant advantages of Bitcoin.

You can send or receive money anywhere in the world at any given time without researching on bank holidays, or other limitations will occur when transferring the money. Control and security allow a user to be in control of their transactions. With the help of Blockchain technology transparency of information is available for anyone to see. However, the private information will be hidden.
907  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bitcoin be banned on Philippines? on: April 17, 2018, 12:32:07 PM
Over 900 Million  pesos worth of bitcoins been scammed.

Filipino couple amasses at least P900M in alleged Bitcoin scam.
MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – Police have nabbed a couple promising easy wealth through popular cryptocurrency Bitcoin, Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa announced on Tuesday, April 10.
Arnel and Leonady Ordonio were nabbed by PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) operatives – the police division in charge of high-stakes and high-profile crimes – in Vigan City last April 4 through an entrapment operation.

The scam, Obusan said, is structured like a pyramid scheme but with electronic money.

The Ordonios apparently had middlemen who lured people to invest. They promised to pay victims with their earnings every 15 days.

Fueled by the worldwide Bitcoin hype, more and more people were baited by the Ordonio couple's promises.

The complaints started piling in when investors lost contact with the Ordonios.
Whats happened  next?
Around 50 angry victims stormed to Camp Crame on Tuesday, asking the couple if they could still get back the money they had hoped would grow.

Will bitcoin be banned because of that?

It’s the true Philippines is getting stricter day by day on regulations due to recent scams and hacking. On this week Philippines Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulators have already issued a warning to cloud mining participants stating that the regulatory agencies believe these types on contract should define as ‘security’, and the business model should be registered with Security and Exchange Commission (SEC)

911  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold on: April 16, 2018, 07:20:24 PM
The main advantage of Gold is over Bitcoin are trust and reliability, gold has something is not important than Bitcoin some people show the willingness to store the decent value of is the asset in this case Bitcoin has disadvantages. Bitcoin has still a very long way to go and probably its marketcap will reach higher than gold.
912  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin replace gold? on: April 16, 2018, 01:20:57 PM
Gold in general is no better. The value of gold is nothing more than a result of a global consensus - at the moment everyone agrees to consider gold a measure of value, simply because this measure is in some form or another necessary. If we assume a utopian situation, that tomorrow everyone agrees that gold is not such a measure, then it will be good only for the production of quality wires and trinkets.
The btc is gaining momentum for exactly the same reason - the global consensus towards the btc is constantly being strengthened. In this case, unlike gold, the cue-ball is not only a measure of value, but also a settlement system, and gold is not a competitor for this parameter.

The digital era has already begun, many of us are aware the digital revolution can’t be fulfilled without digital based technology which is Blockchain. Bitcoin and other altcoins are based on Blockchain technology which is decentralised and provides a smooth transaction. I am sure Bitcoin will replace Gold one day in future.
913  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you prefer Bitcoin or Ethereum ? on: April 16, 2018, 01:10:46 PM
For the short-term like (3-4 months), Ethereum will be the best choice. I will personally go to Ethereum for investing because Ethereum is favourite but it is still undervalued cryptocurrency comparing to Bitcoin, and it will grow unexpectedly in future.
914  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin loses its popularity ? on: April 16, 2018, 12:42:15 PM
The popularity of Bitcoin doesn’t depend on current market price. Bitcoin is still the best and well known cryptocurrency out there, and we all are aware the Bitcoin based on Blockchain technology will definitely expand in future.

The whole world is cracking down on cryptocurrency these day except Japan, A few weeks earlier we have seen that the governments around the world have cracked down on bitcoin and cryptocurrency. 917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum, Ripple or Litecoin? on: April 10, 2018, 03:41:35 PM
My personal recommendation with the sequence for the long-term is ETH > LTC > XRP, I would prefer to invest my 60% of holdings on Ethereum, 30% on Litecoin and 20% on Ripple for long-term.
918  Economy / Economics / Re: Do we need regulations? on: April 10, 2018, 03:33:23 PM
How do you guys think? Do we need regulations in the crypto world? Should only ICO be regulated or legit coins (not "security tokens") too? Can we implement regulations mechanisms in code so that corrupted governmental institutions couldn't manipulate the industry? Can we still have free market with governments' regulations across the world?

Please, share your thoughts. I'm a bit confused about what's happening right now.

In order to prevent the ICO frauds, scams and other hacking activities in the crypto world we need some serious regulation. The regulations should very flexible to build the dynamic nature of cryptocurrency. And, I believe the involvement or regulation of government on cryptocurrency will make crypto market even stronger.
919  Economy / Economics / Re: Why I am quitting ICO's on: April 10, 2018, 03:26:02 PM
That's interesting information and sharing your thoughts on ICO's. It will be harsh to label to each ICO's are the scam there is plenty of good ICO's with massive hardcap of good projects we have seen. In this year multiple ICO's & TGE (Envion and Hdac) are able to raised more than 100 Million and I believe these both projects are worth investing for long-term.
920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safest way to keep bitcoins? on: April 09, 2018, 07:22:13 PM
There are many ways you can store you Bitcoin in the safest way, Which are as follows:

Desktop Wallet
A Desktop wallet offers various favorable circumstances over an online wallet. While online wallets are effortlessly gotten to from anyplace on the planet, they are adding more powerless against potential hacking. Desktop wallets, then again, are gotten to just through your private PC, with individual security keys put away just on that machine. Along these lines, the introduction of your security key online is diminished. Regardless, Desktop wallets are as yet vulnerable to hacks if your machine gets tainted with malware intended to find keys and take Bitcoins.

Hardware Wallet

More secure than a Desktop wallet is a Hardware wallet. These wallets are bits of Hardware, outside gadgets like USB sticks which you can bear on your individual. An additional advantage of a Hardware wallet is the entire secrecy with which you can execute. There is no individual data connected to the Hardware, so no distinguishing information which could be spilled. Hardware wallets are strong to malware, and in the event that you happen to lose the wallet, you'll have the capacity to recoup the assets utilizing a seed expression.
