901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the main problems bitcoiners face? on: December 20, 2016, 12:06:26 PM
Right now the main problem i face is that the transaction takes too much time and it is really annoying , i do know what the real issue is but it has being an issue for a long time and i hope the developers will settle the issue as soon as possible.
Yes, the transaction is so competitive, who pay higher fee can complete the transaction faster. We need to wait atleast 10 minute for normal transaction. But I still loves bitcoin anyway. It is the best cryptocurrency.
902  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: December 19, 2016, 06:03:05 AM
Loan is not safe. and nothing is safe with the crypto currencies. be careful
It depends on how you are going to loan or lend it for the people who you don't know. For me, loans are yes risky but it is helpful for those people who are truly in need. And it is just going to matter on how you are going to use that loan, if you will allow borrowers to loan just because of their gambling addiction, then that's going to be a real risk.
I agree with you it is depend on us.  Although I don't suggest anyone to loans their bitcoin becouse I think it will be better if  we trade our bitcoin.  I disagree with the statement that said "nothing is safe with the cryptocurrency", it is safe, those bitcoin investment site that were turned in to a scam becouse those were not regulated by government.
903  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: December 19, 2016, 05:50:31 AM
fiat system has been implemented for a long time and we're still using it on our everyday life. bitcoin has been invented for many purposes and i love the feature about the anonimity when sending and receiving money. bitcoin has been a big part of our economy but still bitcoin doesnt very known well on our society thats why when im talking about bitcoin my friends are like " what is bitcoin?" that's what they always say. and im saying that bitcoin is a crypto currency which has a very good features. but i can say that one day bitcoin will be our primary digital currency which we can use on our everyday life too.
People of some country were change their fiat into bitcoin becouse their fiat price is drop against USD. So they choose bitcoin. I think its proof that bitcoin can replace fiat. You are right not all people in the world that already knew about bitcoin. But I think what we only need is wait until see all people know about bitcoin.
904  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: actual number of people using Bitcoin? on: December 19, 2016, 04:17:24 AM
I think no one can determine the actual number of people who use bitcoin. Becouse it so anonimously and one person could be have more than one wallet.
905  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: December 16, 2016, 01:17:43 PM
I know that people give out loans but what's up with people no returning what they borrowed?? I want to know this because I might give out loans myself and I want to know what to watch out for... I have ~800 BTC at the moment and would it be a bad idea to start loaning? I bought my BTC back in 2010 mid August January(when it was about $0.07 per BTC) and I noticed the price went up a ton! Also what would be some other way to grow my BTC? Any ideas on what I should do?

Something I should have added my friend was doing something you guys call "mining" I am very knew to the bitcoin world even though I have had them for a long time. I bought these bitcoin from him because he needed to sell them, my financial advisor has told me that the longer I wait the more return I would get so I told him hold the account for 5 years and ill see where I am... So last July I had gotten my account back, did a bunch of research then found you guys. So I came here to post a few posts and for everyone skeptical this is the proof https://gyazo.com/ee99cef712e9b72f03a3e8e870c33624
Why must loans money, better you create start up bisiness, it is more challenging and give you good future.
906  Economy / Economics / Re: Most Secure Currency to Hold Funds on: December 16, 2016, 01:15:24 PM
I have many bitcoins I'm wanting to cash out, but I'm debating whether I should do it for gold, or for USD. The possibility of the bitcoin price crashing scares me, whereas it seems impossible for gold to lose all value.

What do you hold the bulk of your wealth in?
I think the most secure thing to hold funds is in gold, becouse I see the value is always the same although the price is litle bit fluctuative.
907  Economy / Economics / Re: The Halving - Good or Bad for Bitcoin? on: December 16, 2016, 01:10:34 PM
As the title says, is the halving good or bad for the price of bitcoin?

The halving will decrease the supply of bitcoin, whole keeping the demand, so that would make bitcoin worth more.

But the halving will make mining profitibilty worse, meaning less miners, a higher trans. fee, and maybe causing a smaller demand.

What's your verdict?

I think bitcoin will still go up, as the fees might, let's say, double, but that's still a smaller transaction fee than through the banks...
I think halving is good for bitcoin becouse it is make deflation that pump bitcoin price.
908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: December 16, 2016, 01:06:07 PM
I just didn't found any bitcoin disadvantage yet. Me as user/customer is get so many profit so I think bitcoin is better than other currency.
909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please teach me how to grow my bitcoin on: December 16, 2016, 08:48:42 AM

911  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who controls the Bitcoins? on: December 11, 2016, 05:52:27 AM

914  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing Bitcoins? on: November 22, 2016, 02:55:19 AM
Hello, I would like to ask if anyone knows for a good way to invest Bitcoins? I am very interested in purchasing shares of a startups, something like bnktothefuture, but with lower minimums.

I am currently active on BTCjam, but I would like to invest in startups too not just loans.

Thanks Smiley
I think the best business in bitcoin world is exchange site,  becouse this is the place where the trader do their job. Exchange site will get so many profit from transaction fees. You can help the developer in financial support during the developing process, you have to make a contract with them. You need connection to invest in exchange site.
915  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who really uses bitcoin? on: November 19, 2016, 01:01:00 PM
Hi I wonder about the demographics of bitcoin. Who uses it, race, location, gender?

I read the coindesk paper on it, but wonder if there is some other more updated documentation on it.

Regards
I think bitcoin is used by so many people in the world,  different skin, culture, language and gender. But I think the most of them are people in china, becouse there are the biggest minning in the world.
916  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: November 18, 2016, 08:36:46 AM
Maybe we should change the word "universal" to "internet", or at least add it...

Bitcoin in local stores can't compete with credit/debit cards and paper money however it can and will rule the internet, there's no better system.
I am not agree with you.  However people are saturated using fiat. I think you are agree that fiat value is decrease because of inflation. The fact is usd is loss 5% of value, although government said that it only decrease 1 ~ 2%. If you keep saving fiat you will loss the value. But bitcoin is designed to be deflation so the value will increase every time.
917  Economy / Economics / Re: The Future of Money? on: November 18, 2016, 08:00:51 AM
A lot of country are get in mainstream of use digital currency and leave paper money. People are angry with a lot of government member who doing corruption of tax. So I think people will leave paper money and start to use gold or digital money.
918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: November 18, 2016, 07:44:37 AM
I've discovered Bitcoin few days ago, but I am skeptical about few things, why would I invest money in Bitcoins at the end of the day,why would I convert money into Bitcoins?

If I want to buy stocks or invest money I can easily invest with real $. Why would I convert my $ to bitcoins?
If I want to gamble , I can simply gamble on websites that require $ as currency, why would I convert it to bitcoins?
What's the difference between Bitcoins and dolars? What does bitcoin bring to the table that real $ don't, less taxes, more income?

Bitcoin and fiat have difference in system,  but both are same in the function. Value of fiat is decrease every time but bitcoin value is increase every  time.  No one controls bitcoin so no tax for it. Fiat is controled by government and monopolized by bank, government tax it.
919  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Bitcoin Business To Create? on: November 18, 2016, 06:19:51 AM
What is the best bitcoin business to create that will grow throughout 2017?

There's a saying: Be the best at what you do. Don't be the best at what other people do.
Don't go for all these fancy easy-money-making methods or businesses. My suggestion: accept BTC for your services and that's it.

Your suggestion to accept BTC for the services you've done is good. But I think it's better to invest so you could gain profit in a shorter span of time. Because if you're just accepting bitcoin as payment for your services done, then I think you'll gonna wait quite a longer time to achieve a high amount of BTC. If you target to reach a maximum amount of BTC then you must engage in a business that could give you an extra BTC income.
I am agree and that also make good bitcoin dissemination. Or maybe if you have good skill in computer,  you can create service business that related with bitcoin,  for example create exchange site.
920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin 20 Years From Now on: November 17, 2016, 11:51:42 AM
20 years from now is a long time and i think bitcoin will be adopt by almost half of the world population because the technology of blockchain can help economic transaction and make it simple and the best is the transaction is anonymous so we can keep our details with safe. its better to hold it and wait until that time is coming.
Hold is good too,  but if you only have litle amount of bitcoin it will not give you a good profit.  You must invest it by trading or joining ICO.  Some country is getting saturated with fiat and looking for digital payment system, if people begin to leave fiat bitcoin price will rise like skyrocket.  Bitcoin was created to be getting deflation everytime,  so I am sure that the price will rise everytime.
