901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it the best time to buy Kick? on: September 12, 2020, 02:22:45 AM
I remember some time ago scam websites popping up promising to unlock that token if you give them your private key.
What's worse, many people fell for it due to greed, as at that time these 888,888 tokens were worth few hundred dollars

When I received it it was worth $1000 now it's only worth $20 I lose my hope that they are going to unlock it, they tempted those who receive it to become part of their platform, I don't know who follow the instructions on how to unlock this token,
the first time I received the instruction I just delete it I want testimonials first if they really will unlock this token.

903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another DeFi exit scam on: September 11, 2020, 01:21:52 AM
Many warnings have been posted about the possibility of DeFi exits scams across different platforms including bitcointalk but it seems people are simply too greedy to take advantage of the hype and profit. As it turns out, many of them got burned from projects like Yfdexf.Finance.

As reported, Yfdexf’s team managed to run away with $20 million. Their official website, medium, telegram and twitter accounts have all been taken down to not leave any traces.

What happened here is also another reminder to all aridrop and giveaway hunters out there to be careful in what you are sharing in exchange for some rewards. You might not realized it yet, but you are also helping these scammers.  Yfdexf’s team organized many giveaways to create hype and many of these hunters just joined without even thinking about what they are promoting.

It's always advisable to do research and moderate your greed, there are so many airdrops and giveaways like that I consider all these as traps they promise you high value of their token just to promote and support them only to find out later that they will do an exit scam, they have done this in the past they are now doing it in this DeFi hype.
904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How does Polkadot crypto come to 7th position? is a scam? on: September 10, 2020, 09:52:05 AM
Polkadot was created by Ethereum co-founder Gavin Wood. This does not look like just another money grab to me. I think they are trying to build a better smart contract platform.
People are attracted and likely to support projects that are run or managed by reputable developers than unknown developers and since Gavin Wood is behind this, it's not surprising that it is generating support, I will not consider this as a scam because it's still a work in progress and although there is a huge drop, it's not the only one dropping majority are dropping, let them prove themselves why they are on the top 10.
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will "De-Fi" replace traditional banking in the future? on: September 10, 2020, 05:07:26 AM

If "De-Fi" apps become extremely popular and work as intended, do you think the industry will replace traditional banking in the future? Or does it have a long way to go?

Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

We cannot replace the banking system it's also an evolving industry and DeFi is not yet secured way to do banking I don't think banking is replaceable even in the future, they have their own industry to serve so we prefer them to exist together to serve all sectors of the industry, it's a win-win situation for both of them.
906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PLEASE HELP ME on: September 10, 2020, 01:37:20 AM
I just woke up this morning with the notification of unusual transactions on my imtoken app.  The person transferred $1.28 worth of ETH from my account ($0.62 + transaction fees of $0.66).  The ETH was the one I left in the wallet for gas fees.  I can't remember giving anyone my private key.  I just can't figure it out.  Please I need help if there is anything I can do before the one that will be worse than this happen.

Below is the transaction hash

Your key your coin you must be the only who has sole control of your coins and your wallet if there's a movement, then somebody already has access on it, the only solution is to act fast and transfer all your funds to your other wallet or you will wake up with all your coins gone, there is already a breach to your wallet.
907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust Active telegram Groups? on: September 09, 2020, 04:15:10 PM
Hi all , I'm a newbie in bitcointalk but not in Crypto field. I have about 6 Years of experience about this field.

As an Investor , Still i have a doubt with some active telegram groups. I have analysed so many projects and Most successful projects had an Active telegram Group.

This is not true even scam projects have an active telegram group and I have been on so many of them I don't know why you have this idea, this is a weak point to trace a scam projects, you are not fully aware on how scammers works they use a bot to add people and they subscribed to services which offer people in their telegram channel, your study is useless and pointless.
908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polkadot is the Real Ethereum killer? on: September 08, 2020, 01:15:17 PM
I am really big fan of Ethereum I am waiting for Ethereum 2.0.
Many Crypto experts said that Polkadot is the upcoming Ethereum killer . I don't think so. You guys know more share your opinions..

I believe polkadot is the another hype , the project hasn't
Delivered anything of value yet how about we wait until
We create  something that somebody can actually use.

Ethereum has been on top of their game for many years, and they bring a lot of innovation in the industry, Polkadot is a new project and people can see it's potential but it will take some time before they can challenge the position of Ethereum, this is good for the industry that Ethereum is challenged so they can improve more after Ethereum is having issues in their fees.
909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Miami Dade to open Casinos and Restaurants for the third time. on: September 07, 2020, 09:28:06 AM
@Juggy777, I am more in favor of the proposals by Bryant. This pandemic is going to last for many more months and it is not practical to shut down the economy any further. Like what you said, it is true that some of those who infected earlier got the virus for the second time. But such instances are extremely rare, and they occur when the infected person didn't developed the antibodies in his blood stream, when he got infected for the first time.

The longer that the economy is closed the soonest the government will go bankrupt, the only way they can battle losing the economy is to set up restrictions and health protocol that everyone will follow, that way they can save the economy and there will be lower infections, people will not suffer from the virus but they will likely suffer from starvation.

Yeap. FOMO is always one of best marketing strategies for less knowledgeable investor. And FOMO is always best lesson for less knowledgeable investors to get rekt immediately and compounded by many tweets from less moral CT influences about the gained profits when investing in a HYIP project.

Investors are going to lose with FOMO if they are not doing enough research and hastily invest, we have to get out the fear that we are going to lose if we are late, you have to let the project themselves first not the other way around, do not invest of it's potential that you have not seen yet, look who are the people behind, look on their expertise, always check the whitepaper.
911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH's fees on "De-Fi" platforms are ridiculously high on: September 07, 2020, 04:02:43 AM

DeFi project hypes will most likely end by the time Eth 2.0 is implemented just like how ICO ends because of too many scams being created. There's really nothing we can do right now but wait, leave ETH for now, or use centralized exchanges that acceps DeFi projects. But to be honest, this fees are getting too absurd. It's not only affecting DeFi but other ERC-20 tokens too.

The fact is these DeFi projects harms the Ethereum ecosystem we are ok without these DeFi projects several months ago, some traders and investors are now turning to Tron and other coins or tokens with much lower fees to offer, there are also DeFi on Tron those DeFi supporters might transfer because of Ethereum's excessive fees
912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No hype is good on: September 06, 2020, 11:55:18 AM

Hype is useful, without crypto hype, bitcoin would not be popular, remember 2017, bitcoin got its ATH because of hype.

I'm ok with the hype as long as these projects can back it up with usable platform and potential for profit for investors, every coin gets hype, it will take some time to see the real colors of these DeFi if they live up to expectations but I have seen some of their features and I believe they can recover I hope I'm right.
913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much you earn in bounty hunting for the year 2019-2020 on: September 06, 2020, 02:12:45 AM

Since I have been long gone into bounty hunting(earning tokens) I want to know if bounty hunting promoting an ICO project still earning. How much was the highest paid to you from bounty projects? (for the year 2019-2020 projects only.)

So far ther highest bounty rewards  I've received was coming from Jarvis and it was 2019 this year all the bounty I've participated are scam project I'm still on a look for a good project this 2020 is the worst year in the bounty campaign, it's so rare to find a good bounty now and if there's a good one you are late to join like the project Oikos.
914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many listed coins on exchange without volume, any reasons? on: September 05, 2020, 12:31:59 PM

I don't blame the team anymore, they did the right thing to list the coin in small exchanges but the bear market has caused such difficulties. It is not easy to sign a contract with influencers and pay for the advertisement. Only in this case, the projects become popular along with increasing trading volume. Now it is the turn of DEFI projects, it will be interesting to watch blood bath after slowly dying hype.

I don't think so whatever happens to a coin it's the developers that should take the blame they make things happen they are responsible on the future of the project if they listed in a small exchange then they should not stop marketing completing the roadmap and listing it in big exchanges, bear market or bull market they need to keep the development moving.
915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does bounty still kind of worth on 2020? on: September 05, 2020, 04:36:02 AM
I didn't find any real projects except bubbalex. for example DIA I congratulate the campaign participants. HE is soon on the Binance market.
have to work hard finding a paying bounty.
Actually, Bubbalex is one of the best bounty campaign manager on this forum, though the idea job is be done by most bounty managers but team sometimes have hidden agendas against their project. For me, it's been a long time when I personally participated in a good campaign on this forum. 2020 as a year has been not good with bounty hunters because or due to the covid19 pandemic that cut the people unaware

I agree with you on this 2020 is like 2019 no good project that can add valuer to the community all the past bounty I've joined are forgettable I received stakes from most of the bounty I've joined unfortunately these coins are worthless and have no way to liquidate it I'm still hoping that I can have at least two or three bounties with good potential in the market that will motivate me, even more, to participate in bounty campaigns.
916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will AVAX unseat ETH? DOT is 3 Ranks away...but AVAX is said to blow DOT away!! on: September 05, 2020, 03:33:33 AM
I am not aware of this project and it looks promising they launched just this year and obviously they have what it takes to go to the top but let's not talk about them replacing Ethereum they are just starting out, let them prove themselves first before shilling them to high heavens so many projects are like this being shilled to replace Bitcoin or Ethereum
917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is not easy to make money in cryptocurrency on: September 04, 2020, 07:50:42 AM
To make money you must invest money, bounty hunting is not as attractive today as it was three and four years ago you can only make pennies from doing jobs for several months, I consider it as a parttime job, not something to make a living, but of course I must be compensated for my electricity internet and efforts for working on a campaign, how I wish the glory days of bounty hunting be back, and many projects are profitable and real.
918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Micah - Sept 26 on: September 04, 2020, 02:31:26 AM

It is Casimero's advantage if he has been training for quite a while already. But don't underestimate his opponent, because Micah may have other cards not seen by boxing fans. So just to be safe, train as hard as he can and treat it like the same fight with Inoue.

I have seen how Casinoero trains and fight he is like Manny Pacquiao he never treats any fight an easy fight, he'll definitely go for the knock out here, he is been training for a long time and he is excited to go to the ring against anybody of all the Filipino fighters John Riel is the one who is likely to be the next stepping in for Pacquiao's legacy, that is if he beat Inoue in the future.
919  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why isn't there an official bitcoin wallet? on: September 02, 2020, 03:41:26 AM
Bitcoin Core is the official bitcoin wallet.

bitcoin core is the reference implementation of bitcoin protocol. there is no such thing as "official" in a decentralized system because there is no centralized authority to release one.
Well said Satoshi Nakamoto did not designate any Bitcoin wallet in his time since it's open-sourced any person or company can create one and there's a lot of wallets now and more are coming up, the most popular wallets now are the multi-currency wallets like Atomic Exodus, because it's profitable business these kinds of wallet has a build-in exchange.
920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we cheated by some good altcoins? on: September 02, 2020, 02:41:54 AM
The top 150 coinmarketcap listed the coin "Insolar coin". 1 billion supply coin increase from 500 million ERC-20 token supply. Actually ERC-20 token supply was 50 million then for swap holders got 10 times more XNS coins. But this XNS won't unlock for 3 years. My friend got only 2 XNS after 6 months of swap. We're being forced to hold altcoins when Dev releases supply. Already delisted from so many exchanges. What are your thoughts?

(I don't find the same topic as this coin)

Stop using the word "good altcoins" when in fact is, they just scammed their investors, this is one of the tricks employed by developers in trying to extract more money from their investors, we should always watch out for this kind of projects, there is no more hope for that coin since it was delisted, and there's no chance to get listed again, maybe in the scam exchange.
