901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use Social Media for Bitcoin on: November 25, 2017, 05:17:21 PM
Using social media to get the attention of our friends about Bitcoin is a good idea but it depends on the type of friends that you have. If majority of your friends are not open to new things and like to use the mainstream then theres a low chance that your post will be noticed. But if you have friends who are open to ideas and open to risks then post away and you'll see a lot of curious query in your mailbox.
Using social media in bitcoin can really get the attetion of many people and it will attract many potential investors. Using social media in bitcoin can help us to spread the knowledge about bitcoin. In addition, using social media is one of the best way to spread the knowledge about bitcoin because many people already engage in social media.
902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest now or wait a while? on: November 24, 2017, 08:37:44 PM
I think u should invest now . Why ? The price is spiking up in next few years it's gonna worth alot more.
I regretted I didn't buy bitcoins when I knew them at 2015 so it's not too late now
I also think that you must invest now if you want to gain more income. Time is gold so that you must not waste time and just invest in bitcoin and gain high income. Investing in bitcoin is the one the best way to gain and make high income. Lastly, I also regret that I didn't buy bitcoin at year 2015 where the price of bitcoin is not yet high.
903  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: November 20, 2017, 01:43:33 PM
I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.

Let's break it down. In gambling, your first aim is to have fun. Then the next thing you know, you're hook. It can absolutely ruin your life because of unchecked addiction. While in investing in bitcoin, your first goal is to buy it with the minimum amount you can deal at a given period. Then you need to wait, patiently of course, before deciding what you will do. It is a business, not a filler of entertainment.
904  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: November 20, 2017, 09:01:38 AM
I believe that they're popular mainly because well it was the first of all cryptocurrencies to be made. Honestly most of the other coins are scams and greedy ways that the developers make money. The only other coin I can think of that isn't a scam are dogecoins! What do you think?

It is a connotation that people think of bitcoin whenever they hear the word about cryptocurrency or digital currency. And thanks to several news articles is business related websites, bitcoin gained popularity among several people through out the world. When its demand increased, its value followed its peak making bitcoin more popular than ever.
905  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many people against bitcoin? on: November 20, 2017, 08:31:49 AM
I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin?  is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?

Most of them don't  trust cryptocurrency because they feel unsecured with the money they cannot hold physically. The media also play a critical role here with the several scamming stories are found across the internet. Some of them are very arrogant that they seemed to be jealous of the potential that bitcoin brought in the current market.
906  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: November 08, 2017, 02:41:32 PM
https://www.deepdotweb.com/2016/01/23/bitcoin-playing-an-increased-role-in-crime-europol-says/

Would you believe that the existence of bitcoin has increased the number of criminality in  some countries in the world. This is the issue that was being thrown by the EuroPol and the UK Metropolitan Police. According to them bitcoin has played a huge role on the increasing criminality in their area. They added that a huge number of cybercriminals were using bitcoins in their activities.

This just shows that as bitcoin develops both advantages and disadvantages will tag along.

Correlation and causation are two different things. Cryptocurrency is not a recent invention so don't blame the anonymity of bitcoin. What should the government focus on is to secure their trading ports so no illegal shipment would sneak off. They should support cryptocurrency so that people would not think to do inappropriate operations.
907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the future on: November 08, 2017, 02:02:30 PM
Do you think friends, in which year Bitcoin will completely absorb all the finances of the planet's system?BTC

My guess is that by the end of this century, technology will cause another worldwide revolution in which cryptocurrency will be not limited anymore in the online market. World economy will be dynamic and bitcoin will top this futuristic world. Governments of all countries will allow this to happen I hope so we can all experience a better society.
908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a currency or asset? on: November 08, 2017, 01:31:10 PM
Bitcoin’s very volatile prices have reignited the debate about its usefulness as a currency or as an asset. In some ways, Bitcoin suits the definition of currency quite adequately but if the volatility is less. It allows for the creation of secure and transparent transactions. Thus, can be used as a secondary currency in future. Some of the experts have huge concerns over its volatility. But, sooner or later the prices may remain less volatile as of today.

I have mentioned few points about Bitcoin as a currency or as an asset in my article here: https://atozforex.com/news/is-bitcoin-a-currency-or-asset/

What's your opinion about BTC as a currency or an asset?

Suggestions and comments appreciated  Smiley Wink

Whether bitcoin is an asset or a currency is depending on your intended use of it. It is the best cryptocurrency for me because it is easier to use and more online companies accept bitcoin than others. It is also a good asset for a long term investment since you can use its volatility to your advantage. Once every bitcoin is mined, I can see that its value will stabilize and it will be use as currency for the online transactions more.
909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: November 07, 2017, 06:34:11 PM
I have heard that bitcoin is not supported in some countries. But why ? Is it because bitcoin is risky ? Some countries even declare 6 months jail if her people use bitcoin. Is it fair ? I mined few cryptos and have left mining. It was fun and challenging too. But I never got any clear answer. What does my gpu actually do ? I pay electric bill, my room temperature goes high and I get paid. With actually no skill on pc hardware and software. Whole thing is still pretty unclear to me

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have potential, good and bad, opportunity and threat. Even though we all can see that bitcoin have great opportunity for the economic status of the country, the government is still more concerned to the potential threat of cryptocurrency in regards to illegal transactions.
910  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: November 07, 2017, 04:58:32 PM
I just wanted to know that, what amount of risk is there in investing in bitcoins.
Right now i am planning to buy btc approx 3-4 btc and just hold them as i guess the price of bitcoin will increase in future and i will get some good profit. But i want to know what is the risk involved. Can bitcoin price decrease and is this right time to buy the bitcoin.

There's always a risk if it is an investment especially here in bitcoin since its price is volatile. My advice is that be careful not to buy too much because even if you can increase your profit, thd risks will also increase. Don't be so greedy and play in the middle. Another important thing is patience. Hold it until you feel its the right time.
911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of bitcoins on: November 07, 2017, 04:26:53 PM
In future will the banks be able to exchange bitcoins?
Now we are exchanging from traders...but when (if) the popularity of bitcoin increase a lot then the traders will not be able to exchange such amount of bitcoins...so what about the future of bitcoin?

There would still be implications like the banning of the government and its volatility. If many big countries still allow bitcoin in the future, there's no doubt that bitcoin will progress more. Then if its market value could be maintained, more companies will open its business with bitcoin users.
912  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe that digital currencies will replace Fiat? on: November 07, 2017, 02:39:02 PM
I know it may not be possible right now, but do you think fiat will be gone in the future?

We all wait for day where technology will be so advance that thw world would be dependent into it. There would be time that cryptocurrency would be the most efficient form of money. With the rate of globalization, this remaining decades of the century would be critical to our future state. Cryptocurrency would play a major role in that economy and uniting the world with one currency only.
913  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: November 07, 2017, 01:47:20 PM
It seems that experts say that Bitcoin 'Here to Stay,' But Banks Could Disappear.

"TheStreet: How do you think FinTech will impact the way banks operate?

Frank Schwab: Banks either react on, or they will disappear. Anyway, the consolidation of the banking industry accelerates as the behaviour of people changes. Some banks will benefit from [FinTech], some will be pushed to the back end, and some will disappear."
http://www.thestreet.com/story/13419089/1/bitcoin-here-to-stay-but-banks-could-disappear-says-fintech-expert.html

What's your read on that?

Even with its current popularity and high demand, bitcoin will find it hard to compete with the banking institutions. Banks have already been established in our society for a long time and its PR still stands good with the majority of the population. What I hope to happen is that cryptocurrency and banks will incorporate with each other without ruining each other.
914  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN? on: November 07, 2017, 10:37:14 AM
who among you here heard bitcoin back in 2009 and 2010? I was one of the people who is very skeptical about it and I really regret it. Sad I missed the best opportunity for a lifetime.

Can I consider that I am lucky because the only use of intetnet for me that time is youtube? I just recently invested in bitcoin so I really don't know the feeling of lost opportunity in regards to this issue. Don't worry because we will still gain at least for the investment we had started after two years I guess.
915  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon to accept Bitcoin? on: November 06, 2017, 11:05:57 PM

What Amazon is doing, accepting bitcoin as payment, have added to the growing popularity of crypto currency. This increasing demand can only make bitcoin expand more in other companies in the future. Hopefully by the end of the year, more companies will adapt bitcoin because it would be the season where people expend most. This can help us bitcoin users to use our coins more.
916  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: November 06, 2017, 10:03:47 PM
Bitcoin as a course or any related currency on web.
In my country we have multiple courses in computer especially programing and web developments. My course is also information technology, but i've never heard or learn about online currency as bitcoin. In present, and future studies is there any chances for inserting about it in education. In your country is it available?
It would be better for any country to adopt bitcoin in educating new generations. Instead of playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites.

When this happens, I hope that the students will use the knowledge preferably in an ethical manner and they wouldn't think about the bad side of crypto currency or be part of that illegal stuff out there. To the government, stop trying to chase crypto currency especially bitcoin because it is indeed uncontrollable. What can we only do is influence the youth not do illegal transactions.
917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: November 06, 2017, 08:19:15 PM
What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ?  Shocked

To completely replace all fiat money in the world, crypto currency must first resolve its fluctuating value. And that's really a good question because crypto currency must be also be accepted in all countries and all of these nations must have the capabilities to support bitcoin. This will lead to a technological revolution in the history where our money is purely digital. However, I can only see this happening for next millennium or so.
918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: November 06, 2017, 04:21:29 PM
Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.

Tell the child that bitcoin is a form of money. You can use it to buy things online but you can also sell bitcoin itself. You need to explain that right now its value changes everyday but also tell them that once its value stabilizes, it can be efficiently use as currency in various expenditure online. The future will see the potential of bitcoin as world currency so young children should be aware of it.

920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: August 31, 2017, 04:32:10 PM
Yes, hopefully so.  It would make $ as we know it obsolete and it could become a global standard instead of having numerous currencies.
Well, I believe that bitcoin will become our world currency and I hope it would happen in the future. In addition to that, bitcoinis the new currency because bitcoin is a digital money or currency that you may use in different kind of transaction like paying bills, shopping on online market and many more.
