9001  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: March 11, 2017, 07:23:33 AM
Bitcoin is just like the real money because you use it in doing transactions either offline or online because it just need an internet so if you are doing transaction in person then you just need some internet or load in your cellphone and then you can transfer money in just a click. I think the only difference of bitcoin and the real money is it's virtual while the real money is more on physical but bitcoin is more secured than real money while most of the people that i know still preferred bitcoin over real money.
How did you say that you can make a transaction offline if it needs internet? You can only buy and sell of BTC if you are connected to the internet so bitcoin is only for online transactions. I beg to disagree that people are more preffered bitcoin over real money, that is not true. Still many people in the world is unaware of cryptocurrency.

A big percentage of the population don't really know it.
They would even say what the hell is that.
Fiat is still has number one usage when it comes to person to person trading or buy and sell and that cant be changed for a long time.
I guess the next one would be credit card.
Bitcoin is way different than fiat. Try to buy something on the street if you can buy it with bitcoin.
9002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no competition on: March 11, 2017, 02:26:11 AM
All those FUDsters that where saying year ago how Bitcoin would fail because another currency would take over get proven wrong year after year. The more time Bticoin is alive, the stronger it gets and the bigger the network effect. Sorry but there will not be a Bitcoin 2.0. Bitcoin will go to 100k+ per coin in the next 5 to 10 years, it will absorb all the value researched in the field if not directly through protocol improvements then through sidechains.

Bitcoin will remain the only solid coin. The only coin that survived for the longest time (other coins can't claim this unless they invent a time machine).
There will be alts that pump really hard and make people millionaires, but no alt is going to surpass Bitcoin's strength and solidity. No coin will get a bigger marketcap. In the long term people holding 21+ BTC will be rewarded by history with rich-tier status for seeing the value in it before most people did. Do not let the FUDsters trick your mind or the trolls try to derrail the excellent job being done by Core devs.

Let's continue then our path towards inevitable triumph.

i think there was a competition between cryptocurrencies, in our whole life competition is always there it will never be remove nor forget. In order for them to survive they must be competitive in all their plans, so that many people will invest and make an investment and other will switch to bitcoins.

Yes and that is how you will know also who are the real supporters.
Competition is a helpful way to make people see how good an item is.
Without it who will say this is better and the other one is not.
So in some ways it is better to have one that nothing at all.
Qualities of bitcoin are seen thanks to the alts.
9003  Economy / Speculation / Re: ETF not passing can still be positive depending on the verdict on: March 10, 2017, 02:31:13 PM
It will be a positive one.
Adding up those who have seen the news in SEC which are investors that somehow they might get curious with this happening.
Specially those who didn't even know bitcoin exist will try to research it and maybe be an addition to buyers or could invest. It will be a special day, pass or not.
9004  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy, Sell, or just watch on: March 10, 2017, 01:50:55 PM
Just waiting is the idea for me now.
With the big discussion about the "ETF" thing it is getting unstable.
We dont really know what every bitcoin holder is thinking. Some might get scared and dump it or some will stay just like me.
Perhaps, waiting for this fuss to finish for now is the best idea or buy some if you have the cash.  Grin
9005  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice Number Hunt! 15 Prizes! 🔶 on: March 10, 2017, 09:15:49 AM
It got me excited reading all the comments and didn't realize at the end it was over.  Grin
Maybe I should be checking games and rounds everyday.
That was a great game and the prizes are really high. Good strategy for YOLOdice. Going to wait for more games.
9006  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive Income on: March 10, 2017, 02:58:11 AM
I'm only getting a small profit from referrals. Several times I burned myself on the HYIP and I do not want to take any more risks.

HYIP created just for scam, if you not stop your way to earning money you will lost everything

It is. There is no sense in still trying to continue that HyIp.
They have been scattered all over facebook and trying to get 1 victim even for just one day.
No one can stop them. One could be banned then another one comes out. It is a non stop scamming purpose.
The one behind this should be imprisoned.
I suggest you just hold your bitcoin now or try some alts. Could also invest in a gambling site. Try YOLO.  Grin
9007  Economy / Speculation / Re: It going to hurt..! drop back under 1000$ on: March 09, 2017, 01:37:06 PM
If so it would be a fine moment to buy some bitcoins.

Loved how optimistic this guy is.
He is right though. It is the best moment to add more investment and by that it will increase its price again.
Demands right? Pumps right? There will be a lot of pump again to get it back to 1k dollars if ever that will really happen. But I doubt that it will.
9008  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoins is now same as paypal(and worst) on: March 09, 2017, 08:41:42 AM
Yes it took me 3 days to get my 3 million satoshis because I paid lesser.
This is really not going well. They are requiring bitcoin users to pay more for a better service.
I hope this just happens for now because of too much transactions that are pending.
Question is will it be fixed like it was before.
9009  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen when 1 satoshi is $ 1? on: March 08, 2017, 02:04:07 PM
Well I think that it is really hard to get the Bitcoin price that high,
I mean if that ever happens 1 Bitcoin would be worth $100,000,000 it seems pretty impossible,
But I also want it to happen.

That is a wish which is impossible to be granted.
USD will have not much value if that happens. Then we will be pricing our bitcoin in a different currency.
America wont let that happen, they will use their power to bring back their currency to the top. Maybe they wont even legalize bitcoin in their country or maybe ban it forever if they see just a little bit of a hole that it might happen.
9010  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: March 08, 2017, 08:23:52 AM
Everytime a new technology that involves money comes out, talk of gradual death of paper money arises. When the credit card was introduced, people said that is the beginning of a cashless society. We can almost say the same about bitcoin. But it seems that the paper money isn’t just about to go away that easily. Statistics even show that the paper money in circulation even grew by some percentages over the last few years. Cash still proves handy especially when e-payment systems go offline.

Yes and I have been a victim for many times by an offline electronic payment or a maintenance at their end.
There is no solution to that but just wait.
Even ATM machines do require some maintaining or it will be left cashless.
This things that use electricity will go off sometimes and where would we run without fiat on our wallets?
That says it all.
9011  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: March 08, 2017, 02:42:34 AM
In my point of view Bitcoin is can be consider as money already, base on my experience now all my expenses honestly speaking was came all into bitcoin, even my savings, and I also used as mode of payments in terms of my billings every month. And we had also here several merchants who accepted bitcoin as payment whether restaurant, coffee shop, convenient store outlet, and travel tour online and shopping online too. Smiley

That is what we want and that is what we need.
Merchants opening businesses that accepts bitcoin as payment.
With that, maybe our countries government can somehow see that it can be used like a real money for the convenience of the people.
Making it legal would do really good for bitcoin and lucky for us we adapted first.
But first the problem with the slow transactions should be fixed.
9012  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will BTC overtake gold this month ? on: March 07, 2017, 10:11:57 AM
Update as of March 7 10:00
BTC at 1255
Gold at 1229 per ounce

The 2000 mark will probably happen once before halving and stay at that level after halving, just like the 1200 mark
$2000 is something to be achieved in a short than the expected schedule. Gold price has been overtaken by bitcoin few days back. It is the longest rally of bitcoin to stand above $1200. Before next halving several other incidents would take place.

Is bitcoin shaking the world now?
I don't think there is much to it.
Looks like we are just the one who cares about bitcoin overpricing gold.
But recently, there have been much problem with the transaction time. Will this be the one who will take bitcoin down? I have a one day pending now and I dont think I will get confirmation this day again.
9013  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can I increase my limit of Trading on Poloniex?? on: March 07, 2017, 06:14:47 AM
If I were you I would rather stay at that position.
You will be risking your identity in making it larger and that you will not like.
I guess this is the trend for every website wallets and trading sites.
Question is are you willing to give that kind of information? Better stay at the gray side if anything ever happens you will be safe.
9014  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: March 06, 2017, 02:30:31 PM
I am not spending them unless if there is urgent need of hard cash and if that situation arises then I sell few bitcoins and convert it to my local currency but most of them I am saving for future as price will go very much higher in future which will give me higher profits.

Yeah that is the best decision for now, looking at the consecutive price hikes it will be regretful if we just spend it that easily using it to none important things.
If ever there will be an emergency I think that is when I would really spend it.
Bitcoin is getting more precious as days go by so we don't want to just lose it specially this time.
9015  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: March 06, 2017, 01:37:53 PM
If I am really desperate then I might sell my bitcoin. Well, good thing its really valuable now.
I have a little savings in cash but that might not be enough if an emergency happen. Dont have a bank account too if ever I want to apply for a loan in a bank. Dont have any golds or silvers. I just have bitcoin to rely to in case of emergencies.  Grin
9016  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price will not crash if the ETF is rejected on: March 06, 2017, 10:28:35 AM
There is no ETF when this price grow way high.
I think it will not affect that too even if accepted or not.
This is a good thread to open up the minds of those who think there will be a big change like the one posted way up there saying it will go down to $900. Pfft.
Even if it gets accepted there wont be much of a change.
9017  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Kill The Income Tax on: March 06, 2017, 09:50:57 AM
At present scenario, its not going to kill income tax. But it will definitely kill sales tax in my opinion. Because government always deducts income tax before paying the salary and at present  I think everybody gets paid in their fiat currencies. Since most of the people uses bitcoin for buying goods, it will affect the sales tax .

Largely if only a lot of employers will use it.
But this could become a crime that might end up in jail time.
It will be the CEO first if he is the one who will be implementing payment through bitcoin to his employees.
Maybe looking for someone to work online for the company will be the deal. This will not be questioned especially when there is no facility that you are using.
9018  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could bitcoin prevent crime? on: March 05, 2017, 12:53:19 PM
Actually in my opinion it is the other way around.
The bitcoin thing could actually lift up the crime. I am not giving a good opinion but it is the truth.
I have seen so much in the deep web and been offered a lot to sell my bitcoins to them.
This things should be avoided to prevent more crime.
It is just hard though. When they say they will double the price to how much you would sell them you could not just resist it easily.
9019  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: March 05, 2017, 11:26:40 AM
Bitcoin will die. Same with any other currency, if there's no one using it, there's no reason for it to exist.

With no one spending Bitcoins, there wouldn't be any transaction volume. With the no one trading on the market, Bitcoins will be worthless.

That will be the extreme result or end if no one will spend their bitcoin and just hold it. If there were no sellers there will be no market. Seller and buyers are necessary to create a market that is founded on supply and demand. Bitcoin though it is a currency it is still considered to be a commodity. But this kind of commodity will not have a value if nobody sells it

This is a short-sighted and narrow-minded approach

It doesn't take into account that Bitcoin can be used for an exchange of real goods when (if) the real economy builds around Bitcoin. That would basically make the market for Bitcoin currency exchange operations largely irrelevant. In that case, no one could be selling as well as buying Bitcoin but it would still prosper since it would be used directly, i.e. as a currency, for the exchange of goods and services

I do agree. Although if the price of bitcoin gets really high then people can spend it anytime.
Thinking just for a thousand satoshis you can buy something online then why not.
But for now, I do think it is better to just hold it than spending it.
Maybe in the future when all bitcoin is mined then we can somehow circulate it with online shopping.
9020  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin 20 Years From Now on: March 05, 2017, 06:32:18 AM
I think in 20 years from now (or even less) bitcoin will be worth a lot and will increase drastically!!!

Actually it is happening now. It is increasing drastically and I dont even expect this happening.
I thought it will go slow and steady upwards but it did not and somehow it is gettig a lot of attention now.
I dont really know if it is a good thing or not. For us, it is good for our investment are getting larger with its value. But what about those who are invested in different cutrency or commodities. What are they thinking now? Are they saying this is absurd?
