9023  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make 0.002 BTC very fast? on: February 26, 2014, 10:27:25 PM
I was researching about faucets in this forum and I came across some new poker site that's giving out .4 bitcoins a week in a series of half-hourly freerolls, I've done some research about faucets and it seems like the consensus around the forum is that it has all but dried up. Perhaps this is another avenue for people to explore if they want to get into bitcoins. I know some gaming entities like to give out bitcoins through games of chance like slots, roulettes and lotteries, but this is poker we're talking about, which is a game of skill. The links are down below.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=484082.20
https://www.facebook.com/groups/groundskinner/

Is the the new form of faucet, perhaps?

I'm not sure I understood that post to the fullest, do they mean .4 bitcoins per player or .4 bitcoins in total spread to each and every of their users?
0.4 btc per person for free seems -far- too good to be true, far too good.
well as I understand poker freerolls it meens - you get 0.4 to play in a tournament (that is what I saw).
So they are not really giving 0.4 to all of the players.
...
All of them can win but Smiley at the end only the best win Tongue

9026  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: mt.gox poland on: February 26, 2014, 10:01:57 PM
So i was just wondering, if mtgox have a business bank account in poland they had to register their company here and therefore they must have established address for office/correspondence. Anybody knows what is the address? i can't seem to find it anywhere

See my own posting at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=488553.msg5383180#msg5383180
You can find their address by searching in the National Court Register (found via http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_company_registers#Poland )

according to this I found:

Nazwa   MT.GOX POLAND INC. SPÓŁKA Z OGRANICZONĄ ODPOWIEDZIALNOŚCIĄ

9028  Local / Alternatywne kryptowaluty / Re: NOWA Polska Kryptowaluta [PCC] PolishCoin on: February 26, 2014, 02:32:03 PM

PS: Jak chcecie kopalnie PL to PM do mnie.

Życzę powodzenia i konsekwencji w prowadzeniu projektu.

Ilu polaków by się przyłączyło? 1000? 2000?

9032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Will this allow me to sleep peacefully at night? on: February 26, 2014, 03:40:52 AM
as well you can cut your printed keys in a half and place them in two secure different places Smiley

so even if someone will find one of it he will not be able to use your keys without other part of your printout Smiley

Just make sure its not your wife who holds the other half or you might need to watch out when your sleeping at night XDDDD

yes ... you can always place them in some deposit boxes in a bank or @ postoffice Smiley

anyway there will be never 100% safe way to keep it Smiley
9033  Other / Meta / Re: When are we going to be able to choose avatars again? on: February 26, 2014, 03:38:19 AM
I haven't gotten to put an avatar on my profile and frankly it's pretty disturbing that it's taking theymos this long to sort out the forum.

Disturbing?  You've failed to consider he has higher priorities.

I hope those higher priorities will not affect @bitcointalk in a bad way..

I so love this forum and I see there are many many troubles around.
Avatars are not that one for me Cheesy

9036  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Was MT Gox just a ponzi? on: February 26, 2014, 03:28:54 AM
While reading about the demise of the exchange and the supposed loss of 700k Bitcoins I realized that the whole thing seems like a collapsing ponzi pyramid and not just a case of total ineptness. If it can be conclusively proven that this was a ponzi scheme there is no doubt that some hefty prison sentences will be handed out.

obviously this is just conjecture, but please let me know what you think.

I do think it is a nice = between Gox and Ponzis Cheesy

But I believe that Gox will rise up again and all users will be paid for their problems etc...

All this Gox made such a bad media carma. ..
9037  Other / Meta / Re: Proposal: Disallow Ads in Signatures on: February 26, 2014, 03:24:05 AM

And what you mean by that? Am I doing something wrong by supporting myself financially by selling my sig and posting?
I had first payday already so chances are 0% for that Smiley
And I don't see a reason to ban people "because they are sig sellers - not spammers"
Maybe I misunderstood your quote..?

He means that posting isn't lucrative and to support yourself you would need an incredible number of posts. To reach this number you would probably need spam.

I live in Poland - to earn in poland 2000zł in legal job you must be lucky to find it.

If I spend here half - more than a half of the day by posting (after reading) I can earn about 2000zł (maybe a bit less) without making a spam Smiley I am very fast typewriter and I know english good and I can read - so I am doing my best to write constructive posts, help people when they ask about something etc. And I am giving my best as I want to earn btc and not be banned...

Quote
Oh is it my fault that you can earn only +14 activity per two weeks?
Oh so this is wrong that I am posting a lot yes?
My activity is 70 and I have >2000 posts.
Is it wrong?

So read my posts. All of them. Find a offtopic posts, "+1", "agree" and other shits like that. You wont.
I am reading threads and posting replies just like I was doing it before I've started to sell my sig.
Just after I did sell my sig I can read and post MORE! Because I buy some time for me so I can do it more than 30min daily.

Do what you want.
Ban all of us.

We will see how many users will stay here.

I understand problem with a spam. I really do. So try to figure out some other way to fix this!

The best way to fix the spam is to not give people monetary incentive to increase their post count.

This will not fix it. It will help to decrease a number of spam but will not fix it.

Anyway... I am waiting for some informations from Moderators about what @bitcointalk will do about it...

9038  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Ponzi]Ain't nobody got time for that! | 115% |[Ponzi] on: February 26, 2014, 03:18:09 AM
Another ponzi? Smiley

115%? Smiley there are 500% already Cheesy

hehe.

Anyway.. tell me how do you proof yourself that you are not a part of 95% of ponzis that scam people? Smiley

Good luck with your project!

Kind regards!
9039  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: crypto password screen keyboard. on: February 26, 2014, 03:12:21 AM
Would it be possible to have the enter password done with a on screen keyboard that can be mouse clicked that transmits the info securely to the client, and the keyboard can randomise the key position.

this way only a realtime screen grab could get a password, no easy feat.

this would make passwords much more secure as keyloggers would be made useless even if on your system

well I never think about that, but you might be right! Smiley

onscreen windows keyboard might do the trick - as long as it is not recognized as a "key pressed"...

With mtgox gone, who in your opinion can be trusted with your precious coins? Bit finex, btce, bit stamp etc.?

I am using: Vircurex, Bitcurex and Bter

I never had any problems with them and prices are ok.

Withdraws in a minute and deposits after 4 confirmations (Vircurex)
