9021  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: before or after new year on: January 09, 2018, 03:21:22 PM
Should I purchase more bitcoin and or litecoin before the new year hits or after? suggestions/opinions

also what is the cheapest/free exchanges to deposit us currency via bank or debt card
Well, this is new year and I hope you did actually purchased before the end of last year or early this year, because if you did not, you should be having yourself to blame now. I really do not understand why you would have to be picking periods to invest, as long as you have money and you are going to be holding for long, and then you should just buy.

You should even have counted yourself lucky if you did buy since you would have gotten on a dip. Right now, the king is back and if you have not, you better do now.
9022  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's happening to Bitcoin? on: January 09, 2018, 02:52:06 PM
Bitcoin loses grip.
Because of mass advertising, people began to buy thoughtlessly.
Because of this, the commission has grown significantly and made transactions that come in a week, full of idiocy!

There are many other coins, I think that bitkoyn will soon fall and will not be useless to anyone.
This is a world filled with media FUDS and people who are always eager just to make money without even thinking and which is the reason why scammers always tend to have victims every time and it is normal and which is why those smaller alts are even pumping hard right now.

Nevertheless, we cannot blame that on the network as that requires a necessary upgrade already which is being worked on, and once LN is introduced, that would be a thing of the past. Nevertheless, if you think bitcoin is still going to fall at this stage, then you are really mistaken.
9023  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think its the right time to sell Bitcoin ? on: January 08, 2018, 04:01:53 PM
No, this is an overdue correction, hold your posistion and the more it dips BUY and hoDL
Simply stated! No need to panic sell. With this correction, I decided to see it as a very good time to buy and hold while looking forward to when I am going to be making some pretty good gain soon. In fact, this has been one long correction this year and for those who are smart enough, they know better that good profits are ahead for those who can buy and hold now.
9024  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trade without losses on: January 06, 2018, 05:12:03 PM
No body can trade without losses, all trader has been lose but from their lose they learned more what the mistake. And then from that mistake they build new strategy and new risk management. So continue to learn will make become experienced trader and expert to gain consistent profit.
Yeah, most people usually feel you can just have some patience and then the market will be back up, but that is bullshit to me because you may wait for so long while you are missing on some good trade.

We cannot always get it all times and sometimes even when we think we have gotten it all with the strategies, then we end up noticing that the market ends up doing something else it likes, and with that, stop loss is necessary.

Marginal trading actually helps a lot and you can actually get your profit back on your trade when the market is about to get back up and which is why it is good never to trade with everything at once, but at the same time, this depends on your style of trading as most times, it is just better to stop loss and move on to a trade but for this style of trading, you can really get a lot back when you get back in a good position.
9025  Economy / Economics / Re: what benefits you've got from bitcoin in 2017 on: January 06, 2018, 07:52:38 AM
The biggest effect it has done to me: it has inspired me to think more critically when it comes to financial decisions. It also gave me more financial freedom, inspired me to study different subjects so I could relate it to bitcoin and it gave me confidence--a fuell for my self-esteem.
Financial decisions were one thing bitcoin was able to help me achieve. Savings, spending, drawing up budgets and not just spending unnecessarily are some of the things that I really got to learn from being a part of the crypto investment. Also, there are some other areas of earning that I got to learn which in the long term now, is really giving me a huge one in crypto at large.

Honestly the benefit for me was huge and impressive. 2017 was more like the year that things got to the stage that I really did not imagine it would get to and I am happy to be able to be disciplined enough to keep holding for as long as I could despite all the craziness that ensued in and out of the crypto world.

For now, I still believe there are greater things ahead for bitcoin and that for sure is something I am really looking forward to.
9026  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin vs "Dot Com 'bubble'" on: January 06, 2018, 07:15:08 AM
Anyway, the .com bubble was a strange beast.  Startups were getting funded that shouldn't have.  Companies were valued in the billions without having ever turned a profit.

They are not companies but this is exactly the same behaviour as the Dotcom bubble. I think looking back in a few years time the parallels will be uncanny.

New tech, largely worthless initial applications are hyped by people who understand nothing about them, people eventually realise they're worthless, massive crash. The real tech reemerges a few years later and becomes a global beast.

I think a few coins will survive such as Bitcoin. Most of them will be flushed away as the shit they are.

It would be far, far better for everything and everyone if there was a vast crash now before all the world piles in. That would give the time to fix some glaring issues and reflect on the utter crap that got pushed so high.

I don't think it's going to happen though so a lot of shirts will be lost.
Yeah, most of the coins without real life usage will end up being flushed away and some will not even taste the light of the day. The thing is that most investors are becoming aware of that and hardly will you even see a project without a feasible and usable product or solution to some problems will actually get any fund. However, comparing the whole crypto market to the dot com era is something totally unrealistic.

Bitcoin and dot com bubble is the worst form of comparison anyone can ever make. We all know the whole thing about the dot com bubble and we really do not need to start reiterating that, and for anyone who really understands the technology behind bitcoin, would not even in anyway classify bitcoin era as the dot com era. Bitcoin would grow in value but for the usefulness of it.
9027  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin domination era is over? on: January 06, 2018, 05:59:59 AM
The year has just started so we can't say that the era of bitcoin will go down. I am sure soon it will going to explode and will continue to dominate crypto world. I think this is the best time to buy and hold bitcoin as we know once a king will always be a king and wait for the price to go up.
Yeah, we are just starting a new year and I remember early last year and how things really started. It is good that we are seeing the alts doing well now, but I would rather stay glued to the news and the charts to be sure I do not get too comfortable.

We all know what happens when a huge news or something really important is about to happen on the bitcoin network and the effect it usually have on alts, so when the time comes, better take your profits out from some alts, because that would be the time, some of them are going to experience some high level of death.
9028  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Rise again in January? on: January 06, 2018, 05:39:51 AM
May be may be not. But the history says that it always drop in mid of jan.
Yeah, history can repeat itself and may decide not to, but the truth is that no one knows what would happen. The history may decide to get dropped and we may really see another history being rewritten but for now we cannot say much.

I still have the feelings though that it can drop, and that would be another good time to buy again probably at a lower price and if it does not, time to reap some very good profit. One thing I know I need to always do is to just watch the trends and try as much as possible to make the best out of it.
9029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn 30usd to 100 usd per day ! on: January 06, 2018, 04:34:37 AM
there must be some incredible news that would make a profit of this size
Incredible news probably on some coins, but that would require some investment for the long term too. For what OP is looking for, it is something he cannot find unless he wants to end up with a HYIP that promises heaven on earth and still ends up losing everything at the end of it all. Nothing is easy, either you work for it, or find some money and build up an investment for yourself.

But, nothing come easy and if that is what you are looking for, then you are absolutely in the wrong place because you would not find one except it is a scam and anyone that promises you anything of such would definitely end up being a scam. There are so many opportunities to work and earn anyway, but you have to work hard with some effort before you start getting anything.
9030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in cryptocurrency and ICOs? on: January 06, 2018, 03:57:48 AM
Should I invest in cryptocurrency and ICOs?

there is no harm in you investing in digital currency or crypto, but you must know because there is a risk, because the currency of crypto value is unpredictable from the beginning and the value may change, you better invest not all you bet only a part of your wealth
There is really no harm at all. Everyone who understands that the crypto world is one that has brought some pretty good chance should know that this is a world where a lot of opportunities abound and leaving yourself out of the whole goodies, will make you to have yourself to blame. As long as the cash is there, good way to go and even if the cash is not there, so many avenues to earn it, so there is no reason to be left out.

ICOs are really very risky, but it is a risky world and as long as you can take very good precautions to be careful, there should not be any problem.

That does not guarantee anything at all as the success of a project in the future cannot be predetermined but at least you can be a bit assured if you are comfortable with the team and the project to at least have some higher percentage chance of it being a success.
9031  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Road to 0.1 btc on: January 05, 2018, 07:31:10 PM
this is my new project this 2018
i got 0.004 btc and i just injected it to a trading site
so here's my strategy please help me decide Smiley
1. invest it in 1 altcoin (short term/long term)
2. putting  your eggs in different baskets
which means i will divide my 0.004 and buy at least 3 alt coin (short term/long term)

what do you think?

Amount you mentioned here not a big fund for doing trading and all. You will get the big profit with this amount instantly. You want to get into trading you please different top listed altcoins but the bitcoin is widely used cryptos to convert for the alts invested finally.
You can check the price changes in the chart when bump symptoms you find the capture that coin and invest on it. You can make huge profits.
It really can work but the OP must be ready to have some little bit of patience and have some good risk management to be able to get that to increase more than this. Huge profit cannot just come all of a sudden as he will have to gradually compound what he has and then gradually keep trading on that and see how it gets him.

If he has some trading knowledge, the short/long term is enough to get him started and all he needs is just to use trend and pick the right coin movement to know when to get into a coin.
9032  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: want to trade on: January 05, 2018, 06:51:19 PM
I have got 100 verge at binance. What should I trade with. I want to learn how to make atleast $20 a day just by trading from home. Just a newbie trying to learn trading. Any expert opinions or guidance or suggestions please?

$20 a day with a $22 investment is like saying that you own a million dollars and you want to make a million dollars a day.

Can you understand how crazy it sounds? if you try to be in the shoes of a person who says that, you will understand that $20 a day with an investment of $20 is impossible.

If you want to earn that amount, at least, try to invest $1000 or $3000, without that amount of money you are nothing on the market.
Lol, sounds crazy really and there is no way that can even ever happen. Unless the OP is lucky to buy into some coins when they were just in their way of increasing hugely in value, and was able to make huge gains from their pumps, then it is something that would never work easily for him.

$1000 is a good amount to start, but for someone who may want to start with some little knowledge that has been gained, then at least $300 should be good enough to start with.
9033  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin traders, why don't you just trade forex? on: January 05, 2018, 05:11:47 PM
It's because Bitcoin shows more volatility than the typical Forex pairs. It can raise dozens of percentage points and it can surprisingly drop with the same success!
Just within a day, you can get a huge percentage profit on bitcoin than you can ever imagine on Forex. Even if you want to decide to be day trading, you will still be able to effectively day trade and make good gains that in Forex.

I have traded Forex before and even though it has opportunities for profit, but rest assured that being a centralized environment, you can still lose a lot, but with a decentralized environment, you cannot just ask for something better than what we have already.
9034  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it the end...? on: January 05, 2018, 04:34:02 PM
DAGs still have a lot of catching up to do.

And Ripple? Pfui - Bad Dog! Go to your corner! Sit! And stay down.
See, doesn't help. Never the less, haven't touched Ripple and a sure as Public Key encryption am not starting now.
Whoever is behind the push certainly will have his moment of pull.

Seriously though. Imagine Ripple with the same Market-Cap as Bitcoin. Just imagine it. Who on the globe can look at it with straight face and say: well, it must be true since CMC says so.

Pardon, do not want. Just like I ain't touching Iota. No offense my dear coordinators. Sure I have Byteball (what informed Bitcoiner doesn't?)... Yet few users have played in depth with the wallet (link two of them) and uses it as free encryted chat-app. Its "there" already....

My hole point is true adoption. Even though Bitcoin Network is now as slow as traditional Banking and multiple times more expensive its biggest issue for me was lack of consensus how to deal with the increased demand. Chainsplits should not have happend.

Rayblock? Captcha for glory somehow doesn't inspire me as a good origion story....
Ripple is really a bad dog and I hope those who are looking for basically profit from ripple will end up finding what they are looking for. This is one coin I would not even bother myself about as it means nothing to the community and should not even be regarded as a cryptocurrency and I really want to see how long it keeps going before it gets what it deserves.

A lot of people have assumed a lot of moment in the past to be the end, I am sure they always get their questions answered eventually.
9035  Economy / Speculation / Re: China to restrain mining on: January 05, 2018, 03:12:06 PM
What an start for 2018, we are obviously recovering and your chance to buy back in is now over (if you wanted the best spot, you still have time to buy back in before we go back to all time high)

There's an ascending triangle forming were we are going higher on each correction ($11186, $12061, $12808... notice it corrects increasingly higher)

Wouldn't be surprised to see $20000+ in a week or two.

The China news are good. Anything that makes it difficult for China to mine is good news.
The funny thing is that whatever they are doing in their own country to cause a problem for the users of bitcoin would really end up improving the bitcoin network at the end. If they want to lay a huge hold on the mining hash power, then that to me is a good call for them, and at least mining power will shift from China and probably get spread as that has become so absurd.

China has a communism and socialism environment, so I am not surprised and really just like OP said, I just cannot wait for them to get thrown out of the crypto community to at least give us some room to breathe.

May be if they even tag down on the miners by making life difficult for them, probably that would give some of use a chance to venture into mining as ASIC would rather go cheap and probably reduce the difficulty a little bit.
9036  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin price is going up? on: January 05, 2018, 02:45:05 PM
I will suggest you not to buy now because bitcoins price has already peaked and I think there is less or zero chances for the increase in price. So buying at this price will be a loss .
I would not say buying at this price will be a loss, and as long as the OP may want to hold, this is still a good time to buy.

Unless he is sure to monitor the charts to find a breakout and quickly buy in either breaking out to the upper trend or the lower one, then he can just leverage on that, but as long as he cannot, then it is better for him to just buy now than thinking of the losses, which apparently I am sure most people like him thought that made them to miss the chance to buy when it went less than $12,000.
9037  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin fall again soon? on: January 05, 2018, 02:21:12 PM
I thought that the bitcoin price will grow in the new year but it is still gong downwards, there is no strong reason for this downward moment, it is creating more fear among the people whether to sell or hold.
People mind oscillate how to take a wise decision, some has shifted to other alts having good price rise.
I have more confident that bitcoin price fluctuations will be over soon and skyrocket again.
Do not worry bro; there is no need to complain about the value for now. The same way it started last year from about $800 and got to $19000 plus before a dip correction, is the same way you should see it now. Anyone who is allowing that to create fear in their minds is not ready to invest. Bitcoin will still increase but that does not mean we will not keep seeing all these ups and downs even as we move ahead, but for now you should see the present double bottom as a strong base until otherwise.
9038  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Keep all crypto in trading platforms or wallets? on: January 04, 2018, 06:57:17 PM
Don't keep money on exchanges then you don't have to worry about the biggest target ever getting hacked and you lose everything. You're a small fish in the ocean when you hold your own private keys. Even better? A hardware or paper wallet. Then no one even knows these bitcoin are in your possession.
As long as you are holding, it is always best to look for a wallet where you have full control, which you cannot get in a centralized exchange wallet. I have always preferred just holding a hardware wallet and then with that, I am rest assured that I have full access to all my funds and no exchange will wake up one day and decide to lock me out of my account or close down without any notice.

We would not really need a soothsayer to tell us this that keeping your assets in a wallet is the most risky thing to ever do. It is best when you have the private keys to the wallet we are using as that makes it easy to have full control over our funds than when something ends up happening to an exchange and then we may see ourselves losing virtually all the funds that we have.
9039  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best Exchanger for 2018? on: January 04, 2018, 06:24:35 PM
respect my question. i just want to know more about trading and study it for the most reliable and trusted exchanger.
There is no other exchanges can depend binance. Binance is the best trading on 2018 for me. I like the mobile interface of binance because its easy to understand, there is no hassle at all. Besides, it was night mode so it is okay to trade at night.
Ive heared binance even in the social media page and most feedbacks site is good for trading exchange. I also choose this exchange that most reliable and trusted. Binance is becoming popular lately because of their service.
The feedback is very good and I have been thinking of switching some of my trades to binance as well now. Nevertheless, we should all remember that bittrex was the good one in 2017 until they messed up, so it is best to put that into consideration while using any exchange for now.

Any policy, rule or whatsoever can be changed and as long as you do not have full control of your funds, try to stay secured and act based on your own fund security and your best interest.
9040  Economy / Economics / Re: What you think about bitcoin and other cryptos in 2018 on: January 04, 2018, 11:42:16 AM
Hi everyone, so what's your thoughts ?

I think it's very likely that in this new year we'll see a pretty big rise of altcoins if Bitcoin continues to have a few qualms. The confirmation times, ranging transaction fees, and volatility are all making investors shy away from the coin, and that clearly caused a pretty significant drop. Because of this, I could see why investors would start to favor other options like the explosive Ripple coin.

If bitcoin can fix some of those issues that the general public has with it, I could see it back on the rise but definitely not exponentially. I think exponential growth was just a 2017 thing. Linear growth and stability might be the new face of BTC.
Altcoins are really going to be having a good time this year as well as bitcoin. For altcoins though, a lot of new investors who missed the huge one last year may see altcoins as the closest investment that would help them to realize the little that they ended up missing from bitcoin.

The end of last year, we already saw the huge percentage increase in some of the alts, and I am sure this year would even bring more but we cannot ignore that those rise is just due to big appreciations of bitcoins and without bitcoin hype altcoins would not have achieved any height for sure.
