Having a little activity on your bitcointalk wouldn't prevent you from earn some free coins as long as you have good skills on design and other things. If you take a look in Announcement(altcoins) and marketplace(altcoins), many project ask you to setting up their website, logo, signature, and even their coin wallet. If you have that skills so it wouldn't be a problem to earn some coins in this forum. |

Gambling has its way to make players think irrational, that is the reason why most of the time player who have played long hours and have established a good profit make large mistakes like betting all in on higher chances and would end up busting. I am happy for you OP that you have quit gambling and I hope not to see you in gambling sites ever. :p
Although on one side I agree with you, gambling indeed makes players think irrational, I want to add that even if it wasn't the case, no rational thinking would help anyone to be winning with gambling on a daily basis. People who thinking irrational while they're play gamble wouldn't have any self-control in their mind it would made their big mistake when having good profit or good winning. Building up your mind to own your self-control will have a lot effect to your self such like how much money you will use for gamble and know when to stop, OP chose to stop gamble suddenly and it was a great thing tho. |

That's awesome, ICO bounty campaigns were a good way to make a better earning. In terms of other assets which is convertible, but with signature campaign you get paid in terms of bitcoin which is the only difference. In my view however you make money through bitcoin never let your day job down and go behind bitcoin. Plan in a better way and spend time earning bitcoins. Actually I was thinking about this, with my Bitcoin mining, ICO participation and SteemIt my earnings keep growing and snowballing but I don't think I will ever quit my job. For one reason is I like having my job to buy more Bitcoin and another reason is all of these things don't even take up much time and is for fun too. So even if I made so much money I don't think I would quit my job but your point is valid, don't quit your day job because you start making money with Bitcoin. No one guaranteed you that you earn from bitcoin everyday and earning through bitcoin itself didn't have stable income unlike your job which gave you monthly income and always increasing along with your experience you got everyday. Give max efforts to your job and bitcoin will make your monthly income more perfect but doing it as your daily activities will kill your brain tho. |

I am wondering what provisions have you all made in case you die before cashing out your bitcoins? I am single, live alone and both my parents are deceased. My siblings dont care about any of this, however I would like my nieces and nephews to get some of my profits but they are still very young right now. I dont trust lawyers to give them my private keys. I am wondering, what can I do?
Get some trusted friends if your siblings didn't care at all and save all your private keys on external disk such like FD or HD and then give them trust to tell your nieces and nephews if they already reach good age to understand bitcoin along with the external disk. Above method only success at very low rate chance because to much shit people in this world. Of course you can tell them(your nieces and nephews) directly when they're grow enough and you're still alive. |

Everytime i won i usually save my capital and little bit of winnings so that i wont end up losing. Because i trained myself to have dicipline and dont let the greed overpower me. So my winnings is usually on my btc wallet for keeps.
This is the best way to keep your capital safe, You like to be safe, and this is amazing. because when your risked with your capital, It's mean that you are crazy, It's good to know that you can control yourself and don't let the greed overpower you. But I never made a big profit ever. Little by little you won from gambled will enough for buy something one day, it's fine if you only got a little profit from gamble as long as you used your own money and happy by that. Gambling always gives hope for the possibility of an easy way to get a lot of money and not everyone can resist this temptation.
The hope is there and they will also try to show every possible way that the hope is true but it is actually half-true since the chance is very low and the people dont reason it out and start playing indiscriminately. That is the reason why people will get addicted to it. Maybe one can win big once or maybe twice but then that does not mean that every time they play they would win. Rather it is mostly the opposite and you may just lose all your money there. I can relate to this when I was still pretty active gambler to one of the online casinos before - on the chat box, there are many people that share their strategies and let you try it because it worked for them but before you know it, you are again encountered many loses. That because every people have different luck on different days we can't say we'll win because other people did. As we knew before gamble was a game based on your luck but there's a few games you could use your strategy to increase your win chance and of course it would spent a bit time to think about your strategy/analysis. It made some people got lazy to think their strategy and at the end they only used their luck or probably instinct. |

I have knew some people who make gambling as a source of income and usually those card games they make money out of it which i can really say somehow that gambling can be profitable for long term but it will all depend on how good you are on those games but talking about pure luck based games i can say its impossible to make money out of it for long term.
