Any updates about the recent issues you had in the last days gosha@e-coin ? I've been trying to use it with Aliexpress with no luck (the U.S dollar virtual card)
9042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which incoming ICO to invest our BTC into? on: October 31, 2016, 05:30:02 PM

After the ICONOMI, i feel like there's no better project these days which we can look forward to in the future except these coins that aren't really making a huge difference to the existing ones. So among the existing ICOs today which did you put your money to?

I would recommend investing in ICONOMI tokens (ICN - It's a Ethereum blockchain based token). ICO finished a few days ago but the price isn 't different much from ICO price. It doesn't mean that you won't be making any profit. Tokens is basically 100% control over the platform (It means you are a shareholder of a % of the platform)
When they start ICONOMI.INDEX and ICONOMI.PERFORMANCE (at the end of the year) you will be making profit without even spending any ICN (the more you have the better) as you will be receiving dividends paid in Ethereum ! (that should boost the ICN price too and you could decide whether to sell them or not).
It may look a little bit complicated to you but It's easy to understand , just take a look here https://ico.iconomi.net/ (read FAQ and everything) and If you have any questions feel free to ask ASK here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1587736.0
9043  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What if the wallets would run away with the money on: October 31, 2016, 05:21:06 PM
It's often discussed that, Hyip, ptc scams are normal. What happens if the wallets like coinbase and xapo and others decided to walk away with the money what will happen, though I am sure it will never happen but just out of curiosity

It's the first reason why It's never recommended to store your Bitcoins in an online wallet (certaintly not one that doesn't give you access to your private keys like both services you just mentioned) , If you believe that this unlikely to happen then google "Mt gox" and think again. As for what will happen , nothing much If they do it right. (having your funds back is unlikely btw)
9044  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [EDU] List of Bitcoin Scam Sites on: October 31, 2016, 04:18:55 PM
URL :  beastminer.net/

Another guy asking people to download an executable to earn BTC . If you visit the download page beastminer.net/download/ you will get redirected to fastdownload.me/download/Seqn5afw2/BeastMiner-v1.47.zip/ . In that URL , you will see that he is claiming that the file is clean and secure but If you remove the additions from the URL and go back to Fastdownload.me you will see that there is nothing which means It's not an actual hosting website but he created it himself.

I thought about it little bit and I saw that the domain is .me and a scammer , he wouldn't want to spend much money and like I thought .. It was registered on Namecheap.com

It's not because It's too cheap but It's because Github Student package offers it for free (from Namecheap.com) , now If you click the red big "Download" button , you will get redirected to the real .exe in Github ! (the source code was removed) (obviously he bought only a domain without the hosting otherwise he would lose money on resources since he gets downloads)

Finally and the most important thing , It contains a virus :  https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/272361d6445ee06ccfee2c08a950ed126c63afdea8706ba30231836d516a799b/analysis/1477929975/

I hope I gave enough information's to get his website added to the list , I'm sure a lot of people are getting infected.

Anyone ordered their hardware wallet yet or not ? this is their website https://www.bitlox.com/ and It seems like It has some nice features but website doesn't look very  good (and powered by Shopify)  or anything serious so really wondering If it's something legit or not
9046  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Has anyone heard about Beastminer? on: October 31, 2016, 12:11:38 PM
I don't need to test it to tell It's a scam , the fact that they ask you to download an application in your PC means everything. It contains a malware that will screw your computer and probably take your Bitcoins from your desktop wallets.
Team names are fake and If you google them you will find that they are some celebrities (each one in his field) and chances that they have the same name as the owners of Beastminer are 0% .

well they're plain stupid if going to scam people but using celebrities' photos, there's no doubt if their user interface are quite interesting,it's eye catching but still have a big chance to scam if they were having few suspicious thing as omegastarscream mentioned above

Photos are not from the people who own the names but the names belong to known people , If you google for them , you will see their pictures + Wikipedia pages as first result.

Is ICN on any exchange?

it's on liqui and kraken

is liqui even legit? who are the owners?

It's run by some Russians I suppose and here is their picture which looks fake to me : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1556870.0
they simply took advantage from ICONOMI not being listed in other exchanges , ICNs are the only thing being exchanged in their website : https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/liqui/ I'm afraid things will go bad. I recommend everything to withdraw what they have , sooner or later ICNs will be available in other exchange so It really not worth it to put your funds at risk.

In addiction to what was already suggested (Report history) : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1306109.0
It would be really nice to have something in the report button so when you click it , It tells you If you already reported it or not , instead of allowing you to report it multiple times.
9050  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: CoinCollector Faucet Bot | v4.41 | Easy way to earn bitcoins! FB | XAPO | EPAY on: October 30, 2016, 06:32:01 PM
Here is why It's not recommended to download this application.

1. This file got scanned at : 2015-07-15 21:12:05 UTC ( 1 year, 3 months ago )
2. It got 1/55 detection ratio (Some might say It's false positive)
3. File is too big (80 MB , seriously ... )
4. File is packed which is probably to prevent you for taking a look to the source code when you decompile it.
5. If you google this df9855b2238b67087b488461594168068ca27a17f19163b7ed735adf2f22df12  , you will find different versions of his programs (so he is using the same link over and over).

I really don't mean to be rude or anything with you OP but If you want people to donate to you and download your application , you may want to start by making it open source at least because all stuff I mentioned above are against you here .

how to increase transaction fee at multibit v0.5 ?

it set on 10k satoshi and i want to change it to 30k satoshi.

thanks.

It's not possible to do that in Multibit classic as mentioned here : http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/13733/how-do-i-set-the-transaction-fee-in-multibit  . It's possible to adjust the fees in Multibit HD using the fee slider though.

9054  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk hosting ? on: October 30, 2016, 10:34:19 AM
As far as I know Private Internet Access ( https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/ ) was hosting the forums.
Are you sure about that? They were only sponsoring/advertising on Bitcointalk IIRC (I'm not entirely sure though).

Not sure if this information is correct but this website says amazon.com.
Yes, the information is valid. There are plenty of websites that offer whois tools (some with history, but that's usually a premium feature). You could, optionally, run something like 'tracert bitcointalk.org' via command prompt and you will notice the AWS IPs.

I'm like 99.99% sure , they was hosting the forums in exchange of putting their ad in the bottom of the page. As for the results shown above I don't think It's the real IP. This also confirm what I said : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=159736.0https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1aefdk/why_does_privateinternetaccess_host_bitcointalk/

As far as I know Private Internet Access ( https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/ ) was hosting the forums . I'm not sure when this happened but I was just checking the footer and I couldn't find the the message that we used to see about PIA VPN. So I assume they are not hosting the forums anymore ? If that's the case then from where we are getting the hosting ?
9056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform on: October 30, 2016, 08:50:10 AM
so apparently there is still an NDA in place

https://www.reddit.com/r/ICONOMI/comments/5a01py/nda_of_exchange/

Am guessing a deal was made to get this added after the Z CRASH drama blows over........

Quite smart if that is really the case.

 Kiss

He already confirmed that so obviously we should except another exchange soon. In the meantime , I'm stuck with this kraken shit with "Pre-verified" status : https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/articles/202965096-What-does-Pre-Verified-mean- as It's not available in my country (I never heard of an exchange limiting countries for crypto trading). Anyone here have an idea where else could I buy ICNs at the moment ? (Liqui and other unknown exchanges are not welcomed).

Hi,I am a minor who wants to start day trading using Bittrex and I was wondering whether or not they would let me open an account if I'm a minor,or maybe let me open up some sort of custodian account like a UGMA/UTMA account

It's mentioned in their terms of services that you must be at least 18 to use them : https://bittrex.com/Home/Terms (2. ELIGIBILITY, REGISTRATION AND ACCOUNT)

9058  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CS:GO skins to BTC ? on: October 30, 2016, 06:56:01 AM
bitskins.com

Competitive price, 5% sale fee, near-instant Bitcoin withdrawl.

It looks good and I guess I remember seeing it on Reddit before , I can't understand If this is peer to peer or I'm selling to the owners of website themselves though ?

skins.cash works fine, although their exchange ratio is somewhat subpar. Don't use them for katowice and special skins, however- you can get a higher exchange rate simply through selling items for keys and selling keys to key bots. I can link a key bot if you wish.

I've used skins.cash with nearly 400$ in items, and they've yet to scam me. They occasionally have slow transactions or issues, but they seem decent.

I would also be willing to purchase skins off of you if you do have any.

thanks man but I guess I will go with the option provided by dbshck as the website looks more serious (check the SSL certification) and also the team and location are both known. Besides , yours seem to be in Beta-testing at the moment so I prefer to not take any risks In case they have some bugs .

9059  Other / Meta / Re: Another DDOS ? on: October 30, 2016, 06:09:45 AM
I think that it was/is some sort of upstream networking failure. I'm still seeing an above-normal level of packet loss, but it seems usable now at least. I'll keep an eye on it.

I'm not sure If this helps you out or not but while trying to access the forums when It was down, I got different types of error messages :

1. The usual that probably most of people received (Server is not responding , connection timed out)
2. an SSL error about the connection not being secure (which is the one I'm mostly worried about) , I didn't keep a screenshot but Firefox was linking me to this https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/what-does-your-connection-is-not-secure-mean (I didn't receive the error message as the first screenshot)
3. I also received this at some point and I guess the path shown here is from my PC but not sure what caused it :
