9041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: December 01, 2017, 10:26:29 PM

There are a lot of injuries that is happening now, maybe they are getting more physical now.
Is this a result of weak teams who just improve this season? Kristap Porzingis is just starting to be popular, after Melo, he took over
and in fact they have a good record so far, I hope he can stay healthy the rest of the season.

I might agree. Every games played are forced and if you will noticed there are lots of teams today showing unexpected performance. This season is really unpredictable that's why I can't imagined some of the post-ers here that saying easilyt "GSW will be the champion" "Cavaliers will be the champion" "Celtics will be the champion" etc. Im a long time NBA enthusiast but I look at this season as different.

Porzingis is likely to play on Sunday if he feels it's ok to play.

I saw the video on Blake a few days ago, however Kristap and Jokic, will try to look at it later. I think injuries are becoming prone because players are so intense now. They know that the league, with all the super teams around should get as much win as possible, they become aggressive picking up the loose ball that sometimes they are carried away and bump against each other causing someone to get injured un-intentionally. This is just my opinion. Its too early for a play off but everyone is looking to get that W to make a good chance of getting into the playoffs.

Sealing early the playoffs spot for a good landing.

Records are important so that teams can managed well what their expected team to face during 1st round of the playoffs. Although it's early to make an output about that, it should be a "win" no matter what.
9042  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how can i sell a physical bitcoin on: December 01, 2017, 10:11:33 PM
Hello
Sorry to just pop in with a question.
Can anybody advise me on how to sell a physical bitcoin, Im not good with technology and know very little about cripto but I did buy various things years ago as an investment including this physical from a kieser report event in london.
I have heard that the physical coin has become very collectable now but anyhow I want to sell. I live in the london essex area.
Thanks in advance and I will look back here later today

You can consider auctioning it here in the community.

If you are not aware about your coin's specifications, values or pricing, what is that all about etc. you can asked assistance by some reputable members here which is also a coin guru like minerjones.

You won't lost anything if you will just try to contact him. Im sure he can give you a very good advice.
9043  Economy / Speculation / Re: $11k - when do you sell on: December 01, 2017, 09:29:25 PM
Hey guys,

lets make it short:
1) yes bitcoin is the future and the price will increase on the long run, but:
2) we are currently obv. bubbling (what is not happening the first time).

So my question is - do you sell now in order to get a cheaper entry soon?

I think you guys agree that there has to be a price correction in the nearer future...

Thanks for your input!

No matter the expected speculation is, if you think you are in need of to dump your coins then just do it disregarding the next thing that will happened. Long term traders tend to ignored those swings and slight crashes as obviously they want to hold for long.

In my case, at the current state of my progress and learned knowledge in bitcoin world, Im not getting most of my bitcoin thru investments so Im not waiting at cheaper entry levels in some of the cases. If ever I will try to entry, it's all about "instincts".
9044  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are paid signal groups worth to join? If so, how much should I trade to pay off? on: December 01, 2017, 08:24:02 PM
I know there are wholes out there, and understand that joining their fleets will be profitable. But is it really worth a half BTC to join them?

If so, how much should I constantly trade to pay off these costs and gain actual profits?

Cant I be just a small fish following to that big scary whales??, as I am limited money and time...

Joining trading signals is fine but for a paid one? Definitely for me, not. You will soon understand why I said that once you get involved in bitcoin or any crypto trading and able to build experience out of it. You can do it on your own. You are spending money to get involved in trades then you will think again of another expenses just to joined trading signal group.

Like I always said, trading analyzations no matter how technical and deep it is will be useless once panic destroys the momentum. Signals are not always meant to follow but can treat as one of the good reference.
9045  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram users beware! on: December 01, 2017, 07:55:45 PM
Friends,
We all witnessed the horrific rally of bitcoin that made it do over 11 times in a period of less than a year, but few people on the telegram are spreading hoax as well as doing "false" cross promotions by creating misconceptions among users that bitcoin went to 8000 and will go down more. They are doing all this through their channels and this is one worst thing that could destroy the image of bitcoins in new investors' views as they don't know much about it and will probably not check out the real picture. I don't know why such channels are not banned on Telegram but I will try my best to report each and every group that does their cross promotion with such bullshit content.

Thanks for the effort reporting but I don't think Telegram will do anything at least to minimize those. It's up for the people itself.

We just have to spread here especially to those persons that don't know what they are dealing with on online world especially with telegram groups. People must understand that there are thing called obvious shit. And if they choose to become a bitcoin investor why should they listen on a thing that doesn't have proper basis. They should act on their own judgement by doing proper analyzation of what can really happen in bitcoin price or any related thing to that. Honestly groups like that will continue to exist because of those believers itself that will just easily believe in any claims. I can't take the reason that they are not aware because there are even newbies who knows what's an obvious shit is.
9046  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Start with Bitcoin or Ethereum on: December 01, 2017, 07:40:37 PM
I want to start  trading , should  i buy Bitcoin or Etheureum first ?

If you:

- understand the risks and willing to take it anytime

- knows trading basics

- at least can make a good decision

- you know what you are really doing

... then you can start whether you bought both Bitcoin and Ethereum. Analyzation will came from your view about the trend. Final verdict will be placed on your own decision so if you think you can do it, then build and start your trading experience now.
9047  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wallet questions on: December 01, 2017, 07:16:03 PM
I've just started learning about crypto currencies and need a little help with wallets. Read the wallet general info section on here and helped with a lot, but still have questions. Initially getting into this I got steered toward bitcoin.com. I download their wallet on both my PC and smartphone, but reading more, i don't think I want to use them and will try one of the others recommended in the general info thread. I have not purchased any bitcoins yet. Do I just delete the bitcoin wallet and it's gone and don't have to worry about? Or does the wallet still exist for people to send money to even if I delete the program to access them?

If you just used them for testing and checking purposes, without any balance at all, and don't want to used it anymore then it's fine if you will get rid of them and use another wallet instead. Just remember that don't used all associated address there and it was an obvious thing to do.

Anyways what is that "recommended" wallet in the general information you have read?
9048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: December 01, 2017, 05:30:09 AM
Boston Celtics vs Philadelphia 76ers => 76ers +9 @1.92
Of the 3 games, I am more interested with the Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers, in this spot where the Celtics recently lose to the Detroit Pistons, I will just take them -9 or I would go with the Sixers moneyline. Hard to resist this line for the public as it seems like a gift since the sixers are player well this season.

Final Score is 108 - 97 Boston Celtics.

Sixers failed to cover the handicap and obviously the Moneyline. You see it's really a big deal when Embiid is not on the floor. Although not an assurance that they will dominate Celtics, it's a good advantage if they can control mostly the boards.

Recently I posted about the horrible injury of Blake Griffin. Yesterday Kristap Porzingis suffered an ankle injury and just by watching the video, it's really an OUCH. But latest examination says it's negative. Can't believe because that was really a folded ankle. Ouch. And now the recent one, Nikola Jokic. Ankle injuries are present nowadays at NBA.
9049  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I have stolen bitcoin in yobit on: December 01, 2017, 04:45:20 AM
Hello,

Two days ago I had 8.2BTC stolen from my account on yobit.net. the account had activated the 2f and notices to my email when someone loguea and makes a withdrawl.

even so someone between two days ago, sold all my coins to BTC and made a withdrawl to a wallet which I have identified in blockchain explorer.

Does anyone know what else I can do? yobit's support service has not yet answered me and I do not understand how they can overcome all these security measures.

As far as my whole reading is concern, you know that you have no mistakes from your side in terms of security right? And you are sure about that. No one knows your account details, no one knows where you listed your passwords etc etc etc.

When new IP is detected for a Yobit session, an authorization code is needed and it will sent from your email. But since you haven't received even one email from them, it's kinda impossible to access it without your authorization. And also you have 2fa. So how? That's Weird.

Since there is no such thing like that, we can't blame anyone except the exchange itself. They are the only one who can help you here if we will based it on your whole story. Update us here if there's any progress.
9050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Time Person of the Year betting on: December 01, 2017, 03:43:48 AM
The favorite right now is by betting against these 5 people which is the "Other". I saw a poll result from the time's website and all of the 5 people listed are not getting a lot of votes but it's just a poll though. The votes were mostly on the defense minister of Saudi Arabia (23% of votes). Those 5 people listed had 3% below and Angela Merkel is the one leading if the others were not included.

Are there any standard or criteria on choosing Time Person of the Year? Really don't have an idea about the award criteria.

There are candidates in the past who gained higher % of votes on online poll but never been awarded. Despite popularity still not enough. Really confused now and Im tempted to bet at those with higher odds. But for the record, there is no person yet who received the award more than once.
9051  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Problem with Etherdelta on: December 01, 2017, 03:29:06 AM
Hello dear, I have a small (not so much) problem with Etherdelta and it is that I open it in any browser (chrome, firefox, IE, opera, safari and in none it finishes loading the order book, neither the volume nor the trades and that obviously It prevents me from being able to operate in this exchange.

I also opened it in the PC of several friends, and the same thing happens: someone has had this, they have the solution to solve the situation?

It always happened. There are even times that it was fine to my friends but mine is slow and vice versa. I have good speed of internet and only Etherdelta is behaving like that. Changing browsers don't work. Same with using VPN.

Solution? Try again later.

But there are times that it was so smooth and so fast. These are vary among different users. Etherdelta really needs an upgrade.
9052  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Top exchanges on: December 01, 2017, 02:46:12 AM
Just starting out...what are the best, safe exchanges to buy/sell bitcoin, ethereum if you’re in the US. What about trading for alt coin?

Using Coinbase no doubt is "one" of the easiest way to buy bitcoin in US if you meant to buy it via fiat. Although you must understand and learn first their fees if it's reasonable to you. You can also sell bitcoin here but you are dealing with the company itself and not on the usual trading platfrom where you are trading with the trader itself.

For trading (we are talking about buy/sell bitcoin in US), you can try Bitstamp, Bitfinex, Gemini. These are large exchanges and operates for long time now although as usual there is downsides like fees, methods and Bitstamp & Bitfinex have a hacking history.

For the usual trades, you can try Poloniex, Bittrex, Crytopia, HitBTC.

Remember that best and safe exchanges will depend on your experience. You will get random responses here but the final view about that exchange will depend on you.
9053  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help for a small invester in Brazil. on: November 30, 2017, 10:40:09 PM
How can I withdraw the money (profit, because I want to keep the amount invested), is the localbitcoins site reliable? Is there any way, some regulatory body that can help me in case of any fraud?

Try to research if there is a local exchange in your area. It's way more convenient since it will touch your local payment system there that will give you a less hassle withdrawal. Im sure there is. If there's none then you have no choice but to deal with global exchanges. But like I said, Im sure there is.

And most of local exchange are legit company so at least you will be comfortable using them.

How does the wallet work? Which wallet is the simplest to use? How to invest? Is it necessary to sell bitcoins (I saw that the value is lower than for purchase) to move the bitcoins? Is there any booklet for small investors here in Brazil?

Wallet will act as your storage for bitcoin. It can be classified as web wallet, desktop wallet, hardware wallet e.g offline wallet. It's a basic thing to learn so you might hit your precious search bar there for much detailed information. Don't worry you will found it interesting to read since you want to own one.

How to invest? After finding an exchange (preferrable local one) , refer to their deposit page and understand all the details here. Methods are varied per exchange so you need to read it by yourself.

If you think it's necessary to sell then sold it. If you need money sold it. If you want to take advantage of the price increase, sold it. If you eye for long term then hold it instead. It's your decision at the end of the day.
9054  Economy / Speculation / Re: USD 36,000.00 in the next four weeks. on: November 30, 2017, 10:09:23 PM

Has anyone seen anything like this in the history of the trade-world? Shocked

Let's go straight with this disregarding technical aspects..

Anything can happened, has chances, as you know bitcoin price keeps on surprising us everytime there is price rally. But looking at the reality, there are considerations and factors to meet for that $36,000 to achieved in just (take note), 4 wonderful weeks. But since you are just asking a question, I will tell you that it "may" happened but maybe not on four weeks. If does, then that's it. Eye for long term instead and just stick to the realistic price that bitcoin can reached within the said timeframe.

NBA execs believe 76ers will try to sign LeBron

So they want a ticket too in grabbing LeBron James once he hit free agency?

It's not a big news to me but Im surprised that 76ers can stake big money for this. Why just now? Why didn't risk some before their key players landed on their franchise. With their salary cap size they can acquired big names, not one but even 3. Preparation for much big? I don't think so. They must take note tha LeBron James is not all about money. He have his own set of criterias on where he like to be landed. Goodluck 76ers in competing to others.

Wouldn't he be 34 or 35 y/o by that time already? Even if he's playing on a star-level this season there's no guarantee he can still beat father time in the next seasons. Pretty much a bad investment IMO, unless they'd like a veteran teaching their young stars.

The way Lebron James is playing, Im disregarding his age. Anyways, not sure about the Sixers plan and what they are thinking. There are lots of good players around on which they can get for a price of Lebron James. But at the end of the day, like I said, I doubt LeBron will be interested to that offer as he is not the type of player who will be bait for a money. He needs a good teammate too on which Embiid and Simmons of the Sixers isn't enough. Not clear on this so maybe we can see some updates next year once Lebron hits free agency. What Im seeing here is, Lebron will stay for Cavaliers this season.

On other events recently, what you guys think if Anthony Davis weren't able to stopped by his teammates towards the referree that ejected him? Smiley
9056  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Day Trade on: November 30, 2017, 08:47:29 PM
Bitcoin pricing are going trough a rollercoaster right now. Are you taking advantage of these ups and downs day trading?

Im not that type of person who is doing daytrades in terms of bitcoin. These are not meant for bitcoin trades even I can play on it.

And by looking at the price movement since it's "correction", it was crazy I mean it doesn't staying on a certain level. Like you said, a roller coaster. Price is playing along the margin of around $1,000 whether price increase and decrease. I will let it that way and just watched it rather than play with it.
9057  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: where do you get your predictions? on: November 30, 2017, 08:31:09 PM
hello!

for me being new to cryptocurrencies i would like to know from where do you get your predictions about the price of not just bitcoins but other cryptocurrencies?

Especially for altcoins*, expert analyzations is useless once price movement was triggered whether for a pump or a dump. This was the most scene especially to those new coins that listed on the exchanges. So how to deal with this? It's just a matter of "instinct" and closely monitoring the price as even for seconds a large price movement can happened.

In bitcoin, you don't need that predictions if your goal was long term. But in such case that you need to trades or sell your bitcoin regularly, you must consider some things like reading news, events that will come etc. But still if you are doubt then trust your emotions as long as you will sell to make profit and you will not do it because price is decreasing.

Honestly there is no specific way as everyone here have different style. You just have to make your own. Since you are new build experience for now and soon you can make your own "prediction" with good basis.
9058  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crash or Correction on: November 30, 2017, 08:13:04 PM
The price of bitcoin fell more than $1,000 in the span of about 10 minutes on the CoinDesk Bitcoin Price Index (BPI) today, just hours after the cryptocurrency set an all-time high above $11,000.[1]

2017-11-26 price was 8,200$

2017-11-29 price was 11,000$

2017-11-30 price 9,800$

Is this crash or small/huge correction?

Source  [1] https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-price-falls-1000-minutes-erase-24-hour-gains/

Take note also that by looking at 24h view on today, yesterday and the day before, price increase was established for about closed to $1,000 in the span of not less than a hour alongside with price decrease, like a roller coaster. Meaning the resistance was great at above $9,000 so how much more below it. Clearly a correction and not a crash. Why I say it as a correction? Since the bottom price reached didn't say for long, it's clearly not a crash.

And now same price movement is happening, playing with the margin of $500 or more increase and decrease. The good thing here is, we can see lots of green lights at around $9,000 meaning we can treat this as a new bottom. You decide.

You can bet on OneHash!

My bet: Macron  Grin

https://www.onehash.com/event/special_events/politics/140432
Trying to make bet on this one by registering first but I find those multi step recaptcha verification quite hard to go through. Tried several times but couldn't go through it and finally opt out of registering an account in onehash.

Remove those useless multi step verification, one puzzle would be enough and easy to solve.

Test the registration and those captcha about pick images have a slight problem. So I changed it to the pick a certain subject until no images left. Overall it goes smooth.

Anyways if you really want to placed a bet, you can do it without registration. Just used their Individual Betting option wherein you will be asked for your bitcoin address as your receiving address when you win and a deposit address. Same way like Directbet no registration betting. Just leave email address for reference.
