9041  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think the big names are invested already? on: February 28, 2017, 02:13:57 AM
-snip-

George Soros is too smart to reveal his position bitcoin if he had one, so we can never know.

He probably thinks his investment wouldn't benefit if he revealed it now, he wants to keep accumulating more cheap bitcoins, he knows that if he officially gets on bitcoin, news would hit mainstream press and price would go up: bad for the accumulation phase.

Well his type of investor will always keep his investments secret and probably it's his strategy to say that he doesn't have any interest of bitcoin.

Despite of knowing that he is already there and starting to make his own portfolio, maybe it's still too early too reveal this.

We will see in the future regarding his position with bitcoin investment.
9042  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: February 28, 2017, 01:48:39 AM
In simple words, PayPal is a bank and Bitcoin is an asset. So you're comparing two things un-comparable things like Gold and Bank.

These two can only be compared in terms of sending/receiving fee, and in that case, bitcoin is still far better.

Actually PayPal isn't a bank at all, it's a payment processor and people like to store their money their.

Banks are going to give you some small interest upon depositing but PayPal don't, so you need to identify what makes PayPal as a bank.

And I would say that bitcoin / wallets are more near to be compared as bank, since the price are unstable, you can have chance of earning by simply depositing.
9043  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is BitMixer.io SCAM? on: February 28, 2017, 12:54:41 AM
The reddit account says Btcmixer.io and not Bitmixer.io and those are two different services , In fact that website is making a phishing attempt to catch users who use Bitmixer.
I'm not saying this because I'm wearing their signature but all the other links provided have lack of information's and no one actually posted a proof that they got scammed. It's being some years since they are running and advertising on the forums and I see no reason why would scam people over small amounts.

Btcmixer.io looks a phishing site to scam noobs, actually bitmixer.io is very legit, the most famous bitcoin mixer here. We can see their advertisement daily.

I do trust bitmixer.io and it's already popular in the mixing service. And it looks like there are people that wants to use it for scamming people.

Nowadays I saw people that wants to imitate and deceived customers by changing their website address into almost exactly the same one.

And I'm sure that they won't stop as people wants to keep using mixing services.

i do trust bitmixer also and i don't think they will scam people since i don't see any bad reputation posted on their thread and also bitmixer is my first choice interms of mixing my coins and surely for running for so long they where already build some good reps for their business.

And i've seen that also and we must be aware for those imatators and feel annoyed for those people who copied/build a site who intend to scam people outhere.

I don't get it why there are people that are thinking those legit once to be shady and those shady to be legit, it's hard to understand people.

We all know if there is a service that is becoming popular in the market, there are people that wants to take the advantage of it.

So for those people out there, always check the domain / website address before using them, figure out the btc - bit words used by them.
9044  Economy / Economics / Re: Capitalism on: February 28, 2017, 12:36:47 AM
Capitalism - one of the most successful bussiness and economy theorys. Capitalism are based on private ownership that means of production and their operation for profit. A lot of countries like UAE , US, China, Japan have free market for people who are intrested to earn. And people who are private owners or having ther own bussiness they would never change they idea of "capitalism" to any other "communism" ideology, because of opportunities

No doubt that those countries seems to have a very good economic stability especially with Japan, I admire this country for being capitalist.

If we are going to compare countries that are implementing capitalism to non-capitalist, capitalists countries are very successful.

And those that aren't, seems to be dependent on other countries product, shipment, import-export economy.
I am totally agree, with your opinion. Only strong countries, which provides free market rules and capitalistic freedom for people, have better economic situation against non-capitalist countries as you marked. And if we talk about education, health and life quality it always insanely stronger

I did some research and there are countries that did this before but changed it recently and it was a regret for them for changing capitalism.

People will support their very own government and the government will support their people with products and other things.

It's a win-win situation for a country that has this type of economy though most of the countries are implementing free-economy.
9045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this crazy? Or is it normal? on: February 27, 2017, 11:21:22 AM
I have a lot of money investing in coins.

If you got a lot of money to invest in coins then better be sure and learn to do some research for it and those the best of the best and has potential to keep on growing.

It does not make sense to invest in coins that are simply numbers

It makes sense, it's all about putting many eggs from different baskets and you will get an advantage for doing it.

Is this crazy? Or is it normal?

It's not crazy, it's a normal thing that most of the traders and investors are doing.

Your point is good, don't put all eggs in one basket, and we need to invest in many projects, to decrease the risk, and to get more hidden gems. All-in one project can be very profitable, and also very risky to be broke. Overall, investing in many projects is always a good habit.

It's normal that we shouldn't put all the eggs we got in the same basket. But that's another risk, the more projects you are going to invest.

The risk will be a lot of higher and the time that you are going to allocate with it is going to be another factor.
9046  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's keep the price floating above $1k still? on: February 27, 2017, 10:51:48 AM
I know what you want and what you feel as a trader but as a holder I want it this way. And this is the reason while price is keep on moving forward.

As always, it's supply and demand.

It's normal when the price is increasing it's basically indicating that the demand is very high. And I'm guessing the soon approval of ETF has something to do with it.

SO as early as today, they keep on buying (my guess).

Remember that not everyone who buys Bitcoin is a trader or holder. Many people buy bitcoins to use them, often as a means of international transfer.

Some use them to pay for goods and services. I'm sure others use them for other purposes as well.

Oh yes, consumption of bitcoin is the real deal when it comes to the price of bitcoin. And it still it will end up to supply and demand.

I can see that big percentage of consumption / usage of bitcoin goes to gambling and trading which is a normal thing for us.

Since it gives anonymity, there are real gamblers out there that likes to gamble with it and helps the price of bitcoin by buying bulks of it.

9049  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: February 27, 2017, 08:53:31 AM
What are the best investment opetions for bitcoins to be put into?
Please post here!

In my opinion, best investment for bitcoin is Cloud Mining. Before you invest, you can estimate your return through either of the following cloud mining calculator...

i. https://alloscomp.com/bitcoin/calculator

ii. http://www.cloudmining.website/calculator.php

None of the cloud mining is not profitable in the long term. Great companies often are just banal pyramids, which even don't have any equipment, they just pay the "profit" from the money they receive from new users.
If you decide to invest in cloud mining - start with a small investment.

There are some cloud mining that are being referred by cloud miners and they are saying it's trusted but I do believe that we must don't believe on it easily.

It's either they are building trust from the investors just like those early cloud mining sites did, they've been trusted for years.

And with just a single day, they run out of their investors money.
Cloud mining sites are very hard to trust because there is a few scenarios that even the most trusted cloud mining turned into scam and ran away with the invested profit. In my opinion, cloud mining sites are just HYIPs with a different name and but same scheme which is ponzi. Most of the cloud mining sites just steal some pics of mining rigs in other sites and they just add it on their site so they can have a proof that they are legit but they are not.
Yeah, I'm totally agree with you, if we're want to be a minner I suggest to
mining with PC and some material like VGA or other. I think that's better than cloud mining.

I do know about stealing of pictures of mining rigs from others. And yes, they are just the same with HYIP's that are promising it's investors to earn good amount.

Real mining is good but there are some problems with it if you are living in a country where electricity isn't cheap at all.

Also try to invest into something reliable in real life.
9050  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think the big names are invested already? on: February 27, 2017, 08:35:13 AM
Guys like George Soros are too smart to not see the importance of bitcoin, but are they too old to get it?

I don't have an idea with this guy but I know that investor will always be on his name and he can regain and always change his statement.

I know that Warren Buffet said a couple years ago how bitcoin makes no sense, obviously showcasing how old and deprecated his investing decisions are when it comes to cutting edge technology.
The same thing with George Soros, he can also change what he said and just go with bitcoin quietly.

But I can see guys like Soros getting involved and learning about it and secretly taking a position.

Since he is valuing freedom, for sure that he will go for bitcoin.

I can also see Donald Trump, which has appointed bitcoin guys in his team, holding some in his portfolio already.

I do believe that Trump will go for bitcoin and he has knowledge with it already but don't have enough time with his current presidential work.

When the ETF passes, I can see tons of Wall Street people joining in as well, with some serious investments beyond for testing purposes.

And other investors as well, they do trust those big names.
9051  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE CASINO - CONGRATULATIONS TO WONTON FOR WINNING 300BTC on: February 27, 2017, 08:10:55 AM
You shouldn't need to worry about your security as BitDice also does email verification for new signins which also helps protects you.

It is always a good idea to change your passwords after an incident like this regardless.

Exactly, there are a lot of gamblers in bitdice and it seems that still no one has surpass the challenge of bitdice of breaking their security.

And with that problem with cloudflare I don't think it's that a big deal with bitdice.

Changing of password is good, it depends upon on your decisions if you wanted to change it, it's also a good habit.
9052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: February 25, 2017, 02:00:26 AM
Playing for your profit is one of the best feeling in the world when you do already get your bankrole doubled already and then you're trying to make doubled it again beging good in strategies are make us win straight sometimes i do always play with my profit even it will lose or it wll win no matter what happen just accept the result.

I know what is that feeling and I've been doing that for several months already. And it's the best thing to do with your profit.

Just play for it, because if you'll play for your profit you don't have to think about lose but you'll think more with your win.

And if you lose, it's just normal and you lose nothing.
9053  Economy / Gambling / Re: BETTING SITES TO AVOID on: February 25, 2017, 01:46:46 AM
Also important to note that the publicly proven Betcoin.ag scam! is in free fall on Alexa Global Rank recently, -63%!

Let us talk about a Bitcoin poker room in free fall, betcoin.ag
Thanks for reminding on this one regarding on the issues of Betcoin.ag but i think you are spreading too much the information all over and over again. Regarding with the issues on that site i dont know if its been settled or not and with this thread im surprised about satoshimines become scam. Shocked
My few posts about betcoin.ag is too much in your opinion? How about the 1000s of posts from the 70 signature campaign members?
Hmmm i dont know whats their plan since they are still operating and still running their signature campaign which means all goes fine. Why cant you just contact him regarding with the issues you have with them?
I have seen that Bitcoin.ag has already had a red tag for a long time and they still have many members participating in their campaign. That is totally weird. In my opinion, everyone joins this campaign should be tag red trust by trusted member since they are promoting scam casino. However, there is nothing happen. Maybe it is true that bitcoin.ag is still legit

I don't have an idea but it should be betcoin.ag mate. Though I'm not a player to their site, I guess they are still playing.

The only case with them is that they changed their terms and agreement upon having a bit time winner and they denied to pay it.

But still we should avoid it.

9055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you subscribe to another site for additional bonuses? on: February 25, 2017, 01:12:23 AM
Hey people,

I'm thinking about oppening a website, a web directory about gambling sites.
Sure there are already a lot of gambling web directory! But here the idea would be that if you subscribe and play from our website and thus become one of our affiliate, you would have access to special additional bonuses! Deposit bonuses on websites, special promotions, unique giveaways etc...

Would you be interested and would you try new sites available on this gambling directory if there was special unique bonuses?
I am interested into subscribing for another site for additional bonuses but I'm skeptic about when the time of claiming happens.

Since it's popular that casino's are doing almost crazy things to let us believe with their some type of bonuses.

I hope that you won't the same as they did, good luck to your project.
As i play on gambling sites with do have bonuses i got directly the bonuses that they promised which is great and didnt encountered about claiming it and its not too long actually.Promotion, giveaways or bonuses are really just normal for a gambling site owner for him to do.

Yes it's normal but the reason of migrating to another site is the real deal for the bonus. But there are gamblers who are actually loyal with the casino.

And whatever it takes they will be die hard player of that casino though sometimes it's more exciting to try others.

But if you are experiencing good service with your current gambling place, why would you leave?
9056  Economy / Economics / Re: ETF - Will be approved or not? Price will grow up anyway? on: February 25, 2017, 12:59:05 AM
It's hard to think if ETF will be approved or not but if it will be approved of course we know what will happen, it will make the price pump.

And if it will not be approved, I guess bitcoin will remain the same on its current price and it's like normal.

But I want this to be approved and let's see for ourselves and just wait until that day comes, March 11.

9059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from ICO on: February 24, 2017, 06:35:13 AM
Nowsaday, I don't think there is any ICO worth to invest anymore. I had so many bad ones lately. Better off purchase them after they released at the exchanges.

I can see that ICO's are just for profiting purposes. If you are one of those guy that are an avid ICO joiner and goes for profit after it's launching it's profitable.

We already know the cycle of ICO's but there are some that are becoming stable and has a strong belief with their own project.
9060  Economy / Speculation / Re: $1200 on: February 24, 2017, 06:02:47 AM
Bitcoin is always surprising us with it's price movement and for real now it's on $1,200 and I believe that it will keep on increasing.

This is what everyone is saying that bitcoin is 'flying up to the moon', 'skyrocket' and everyone's description with it is actually right.

I saw it with preev and it's also $1,207.
