9061  Economy / Speculation / Re: China to restrain mining on: January 05, 2018, 03:12:06 PM
What an start for 2018, we are obviously recovering and your chance to buy back in is now over (if you wanted the best spot, you still have time to buy back in before we go back to all time high)

There's an ascending triangle forming were we are going higher on each correction ($11186, $12061, $12808... notice it corrects increasingly higher)

Wouldn't be surprised to see $20000+ in a week or two.

The China news are good. Anything that makes it difficult for China to mine is good news.
The funny thing is that whatever they are doing in their own country to cause a problem for the users of bitcoin would really end up improving the bitcoin network at the end. If they want to lay a huge hold on the mining hash power, then that to me is a good call for them, and at least mining power will shift from China and probably get spread as that has become so absurd.

China has a communism and socialism environment, so I am not surprised and really just like OP said, I just cannot wait for them to get thrown out of the crypto community to at least give us some room to breathe.

May be if they even tag down on the miners by making life difficult for them, probably that would give some of use a chance to venture into mining as ASIC would rather go cheap and probably reduce the difficulty a little bit.
9062  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin price is going up? on: January 05, 2018, 02:45:05 PM
I will suggest you not to buy now because bitcoins price has already peaked and I think there is less or zero chances for the increase in price. So buying at this price will be a loss .
I would not say buying at this price will be a loss, and as long as the OP may want to hold, this is still a good time to buy.

Unless he is sure to monitor the charts to find a breakout and quickly buy in either breaking out to the upper trend or the lower one, then he can just leverage on that, but as long as he cannot, then it is better for him to just buy now than thinking of the losses, which apparently I am sure most people like him thought that made them to miss the chance to buy when it went less than $12,000.
9063  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin fall again soon? on: January 05, 2018, 02:21:12 PM
I thought that the bitcoin price will grow in the new year but it is still gong downwards, there is no strong reason for this downward moment, it is creating more fear among the people whether to sell or hold.
People mind oscillate how to take a wise decision, some has shifted to other alts having good price rise.
I have more confident that bitcoin price fluctuations will be over soon and skyrocket again.
Do not worry bro; there is no need to complain about the value for now. The same way it started last year from about $800 and got to $19000 plus before a dip correction, is the same way you should see it now. Anyone who is allowing that to create fear in their minds is not ready to invest. Bitcoin will still increase but that does not mean we will not keep seeing all these ups and downs even as we move ahead, but for now you should see the present double bottom as a strong base until otherwise.
9064  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Keep all crypto in trading platforms or wallets? on: January 04, 2018, 06:57:17 PM
Don't keep money on exchanges then you don't have to worry about the biggest target ever getting hacked and you lose everything. You're a small fish in the ocean when you hold your own private keys. Even better? A hardware or paper wallet. Then no one even knows these bitcoin are in your possession.
As long as you are holding, it is always best to look for a wallet where you have full control, which you cannot get in a centralized exchange wallet. I have always preferred just holding a hardware wallet and then with that, I am rest assured that I have full access to all my funds and no exchange will wake up one day and decide to lock me out of my account or close down without any notice.

We would not really need a soothsayer to tell us this that keeping your assets in a wallet is the most risky thing to ever do. It is best when you have the private keys to the wallet we are using as that makes it easy to have full control over our funds than when something ends up happening to an exchange and then we may see ourselves losing virtually all the funds that we have.
9065  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best Exchanger for 2018? on: January 04, 2018, 06:24:35 PM
respect my question. i just want to know more about trading and study it for the most reliable and trusted exchanger.
There is no other exchanges can depend binance. Binance is the best trading on 2018 for me. I like the mobile interface of binance because its easy to understand, there is no hassle at all. Besides, it was night mode so it is okay to trade at night.
Ive heared binance even in the social media page and most feedbacks site is good for trading exchange. I also choose this exchange that most reliable and trusted. Binance is becoming popular lately because of their service.
The feedback is very good and I have been thinking of switching some of my trades to binance as well now. Nevertheless, we should all remember that bittrex was the good one in 2017 until they messed up, so it is best to put that into consideration while using any exchange for now.

Any policy, rule or whatsoever can be changed and as long as you do not have full control of your funds, try to stay secured and act based on your own fund security and your best interest.
9066  Economy / Economics / Re: What you think about bitcoin and other cryptos in 2018 on: January 04, 2018, 11:42:16 AM
Hi everyone, so what's your thoughts ?

I think it's very likely that in this new year we'll see a pretty big rise of altcoins if Bitcoin continues to have a few qualms. The confirmation times, ranging transaction fees, and volatility are all making investors shy away from the coin, and that clearly caused a pretty significant drop. Because of this, I could see why investors would start to favor other options like the explosive Ripple coin.

If bitcoin can fix some of those issues that the general public has with it, I could see it back on the rise but definitely not exponentially. I think exponential growth was just a 2017 thing. Linear growth and stability might be the new face of BTC.
Altcoins are really going to be having a good time this year as well as bitcoin. For altcoins though, a lot of new investors who missed the huge one last year may see altcoins as the closest investment that would help them to realize the little that they ended up missing from bitcoin.

The end of last year, we already saw the huge percentage increase in some of the alts, and I am sure this year would even bring more but we cannot ignore that those rise is just due to big appreciations of bitcoins and without bitcoin hype altcoins would not have achieved any height for sure.
9067  Economy / Economics / Re: Imagine Bitcoin recognized around the world. on: January 04, 2018, 11:00:38 AM
Do you think there will be a chance that bitcoin will be recognized by all people around the world?
Yes there's a big chance that bitcoin will certainly be recognized by majority of the people for each countries. And this is just the start, year 2017 has been progressive and productive to bitcoin. The governments are starting to state their interest of taxing it which is I'm on two different sides if I'll be happy because they are recognizing it or I'll be sad because bitcoin will be regulated.
The chances are so huge and obvious with what we saw last year 2017. I am so hopeful to see what this year holds and how the predictions of some people who have always imagined bitcoin to grow hugely would possibly come to past. However, recognition around the world is already in play and we just have to keep seeing more and more people stepping into the crypto world to have a real taste of the system.

Still, I am sure it would be recognized by most people who have access to the internet and information about bitcoin and who really understand how everything about bitcoin works, but I would not say it is going to really be recognized by everyone around the world. The adoption is going to be a huge one in this year and coming years and the percentage of population that would adopt is even good enough to see bitcoin at the top.
9068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherdelta Token sale, will you buy it? on: January 04, 2018, 08:27:56 AM
Etherdelta is running a token sale, will you buy it and do you think is worth it. Why don't they focus on security of the website first , People have complained after the website compromised of their stolen tokens and Ethers yet nothing is done, and here they are running a token sale.
Probably the token sale was meant to develop the platform the more so as to get the best experience for those who may want to be trading on the platform.

The security is necessary and we all know that security is lapsing, but I would not mind having their token anyway as that seems to give me a stake on the project which I am sure a lot of people would not mind anyway. There is already a product and it has been able to gain good ground, so I would not mind investing at all.
9069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Likely to become a millionaire from altcoins? on: January 04, 2018, 07:55:21 AM
Small alts are undervaluated and have bigger growth potential then top-100. For Example - GBX (in my signature)
Yeah, there are so many alts with low market caps but good project and good team that are undervalued. Those should be your target.

All of them may not do fine immediately and some that has been pumped already will take some fall, but there are some that are pretty much undervalued right now that in the next few months or years, you should be smiling to the your wallet. Alts with prospect and low market cap should definitely do the trick as they have much chance of increasing pretty well in the future.

However, do not just pick any coin to invest; you should understand the area you are trying to invest so you do not end up bag holding a shit coin. Just find good coins, top 100 can also do it anyway, but there are even lesser ones with lower market caps that would give you what you are looking for as well.
9070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Banks adopting Blockchain dramatically faster than expected on: January 03, 2018, 04:53:34 PM
They are definitely using the same tech as with Ripple but not the coin itself after all they can just hire someone to make a cryptocurrency for them to use at their own convenience. Considering that the things required to create one's own crypto is open source, it is very likely for banks to use only the capabilities of blockchain tech and not ripple or crypto itself.
Yeah, and I do not see why they would want to pick XRP when they would probably looking at the point of having the high stakes in the market of the crypto they choose to develop and have the ability to manipulate it however they want.
XRP may be going up in value right now, but that does not totally mean the banks have fully accepted it as a cryptocurrency to use when like you said, they have everything to develop afresh.
9071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why people keep trying new casinos? on: January 03, 2018, 03:38:25 PM
There are gamblers that if they aren't lucky to the existing casino that they are playing, they tend to get into another casino to think that their luck will replenish. I did that before when I saw a new established casino, I'm trying my luck there immediately but still I'm doing my own research if it is to be trusted and I'm ready for the consequence if something bad happens.
Another reason for visiting a new casino is that new casino mostly offer some bonus and people are just too curious for bonuses even though sometimes the terms of bonus is such that it's almost a scam. I have earlier played at bitcasino and actually they scammed in one way, I did not knew that we need to wager 5 million times and each time we wager 1% is counted so actually my initial deposit also got stuck and ultimately lost.
9072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to advertise gambling site on: January 03, 2018, 02:04:34 PM
The best way to advertise a gambling site is in this forum, you can advertise it by creating a signature or bounty campaign and let some people participate to advertise you site or you can also use the social media sites like facebook or twitter to invite investors.
I agree to that, additionally you can use the games and round section to create various contests and hence attract more gamblers. I remember when bitsler started it was no so popular and actually used to give too many bonuses and that's how they got so popular that today they stand with primedice and one of the biggest gambling site.

You can have it through this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2611831.0 the highest bid is 0.125BTC and I guess you can get a slot @ 0.1 BTC since it is advertised on the slot.
I can guarantee that the bid will go a lot higher as time elapse and yes advertising with the forum is one of the best idea since you get millions of views with that but I think if your budget is lower and you are looking for the best use of that advertising budget you should look to start a signature campaign and you don't need to pay very high initially, as you grow you can increase more slots and increase the pay rates.
9073  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is an Asset or Currency? on: January 03, 2018, 08:37:37 AM
Crypto is definitely is an currency but people are using it as an asset buy using its rapid price increase.

But crypto was found to use as an online currency with anonymous transactions so no one hack or trace our transactions. The first crypto was bitcoin the value of bitcoin when launched was less than dollar but now it is at $16K still increasing. So people think that is an asset if e have that crypto then we can earn good profit in future.
There is no doubt in this fact that the job description of digital currencies has been changed over the course of time. Initially these currencies were developed as you said to make online transactions but now people are using them as mode of investments than as mainstream method of making transactions. The ever growing market values of these coins are forcing people to treat them as investments than as currencies.
Yeah mate you are right everyone has his own preferences and all this thing shows that bitcoin is the everything to investors currency a investment an asset as well all these are beneficial for the community as well and for me personally I am taking bitcoin as an asset so that I can live an easy life after retirement and can give my kids a great and wealthy future so that they can live happily and lavishly by using profit of bitcoin.
Right, it was meant to really be a currency that each person can start using and free us from the way we spend or the slavery the fiat system and the banks have placed us. However, a lot has changed and now people no longer see crypto as a currency but instead as a speculative asset which they can hold for long and have a huge return on it as an investment instead.

Most especially for bitcoin, and this is not really good as far as I am concerned as this is the main reason that should drive the value up, which is being a currency.
9074  Economy / Economics / Re: Beside Cryptocurrenices where would you invest? on: January 03, 2018, 06:46:36 AM
Definitely real estates or properties. I am an aspiring civil engineer and my dream is to have a build and sell business to which acquiring of lands and properties are vital in order to make it possible. I truly believe that investing in properties is one of the most profitable and promising venture out there. With the right location, its price will continue to bloom throughout the years which will truly be beneficial for your part. Among all investment ventures, real estate has one of the longest lifetime to which will give you assurance for the long run. It may be pricey but the return would truly be worth it.
Real estate has been my major target as well as Oil and Gas. These are pretty much capital intensive areas but it is like an area where the flow of money is always huge once you invest in them.

I expect that with the effort, and the long run holding with profit from cryptocurrencies, this is something I may end up being able to achieve while diversifying into them as well. I have seen a lot of people make huge money in these areas, but who knows how the boom for crypto is going to be anyway.
9075  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's price is getting low on: January 03, 2018, 04:04:10 AM
This week, bitcoin's price gets low. Based on the article that i read, it says thats they cant trace the reason why its getting low. They said it might be because some used to hack and mine bitcoins. They also said that maybe it was because there are new cryptos.
What do you think is the main reason? Do you think its price will still rise?
Well for me what's the reason is that it is part of a organization. They need time to low the price so that it can have a chance to buy some and maybe they can prepare for the progress in increasing higher than past. Pricing high and low is likely a roller coaster sometimes high sometimes low.
Organization ? I would not consider bitcoin as an organization, even though we know there are whales who have all the resources available to get the price somewhat manipulated and most of them cashing out or organizing the high level of cash out apparently caused the huge drop in price.

Okay! I see why you called it an organization now. Those who are smart enough would buy now as pretty soon and with this current sideways movement, we may be experiencing a breakout in the next few days.
9076  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin fall again soon? on: January 01, 2018, 08:32:05 AM
This year the bit coin growth was very high.Increased by 20k a month. The present collapse is just temporary.Bit coin does not fall below $ 11000.Even though the value is low, it will soon get older.
The present growth was drastic and the dip is just normal and expected. This has shown some level of health for bitcoin so far and as we go further, it proves there would be more chance for it to grow more than this. Bitcoin still have a lot of room for improvement and those improvements most especially in its protocol regarding scaling issue and that would be a nice ride to the moon for it.
9077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of a new year on market? on: December 30, 2017, 12:44:16 PM
What do you guys think the new year will bring us? Massive price drops or maybe prices going up? Or maybe nothing at all? Please share your expectations with me

Considering what happened in the past, it doesn't have much of an impact, maybe the coins go down a little but that's it. Bitcoin had a nice rally in the past weeks, so this might be just a period when it's stabilising.
Yeah, the market may be experiencing some downtrends now, most especially for bitcoin, but it is nothing that is usually not expected anyway, so we can imagine it to be something that is normal for the market.

Stabilization has been on now for some days and with the huge testing of ATHs within few days and on, it was very much expected and it is really good now that we eventually found a bottom and that shows some strength and health now.
9078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best investment strategies on: December 30, 2017, 09:14:06 AM
buy good alts and hold.  I'm invested where I want to be for now, so I'm not going to make any major moves unless I find something new or new ideas, icos, or whatever.
This is just the perfect strategy anyone can ever do. I have known one thing about alts, and that is the fact that a time would always come when they will really have some huge dips and while I could have missed some interesting ones I wait for those right moment to get into some of them.

This pays a lot and knowing that this simply means more like building a future for you. Not all of them would grow at the same pace, but they will surely all do well.
9079  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin going up on: December 30, 2017, 08:47:40 AM
Yes, we'll have to wait until next year. The sideways trend of the last days may continue until January.
Even though there is no chances that bitcoin prices get back into $19k but still I'm contented of what it shows right now. The trend of bitcoin in the market shows that, there will be a huge pump early next year.
I even love the little sideways we have been having so far and the trend at least for now will allow us to accumulate as much as we can as we keep going further around next year.

We cannot say there are no chances though, because we have really had some pretty good surprises, but for now, I would rather just chill and enjoy the moment until we start another journey soon. As per some technical analysis and traders psychology, we are still going to keep seeing the sideways for now until January, as there are still a lot of sideways resistance right now.

However, we cannot say exactly when we will start testing another top, but at least we have some sanity for now and that is good enough, moving to the next phase of bitcoin as we go on the journey to the moon in coming years.
9080  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 70k end of 2018. on: December 30, 2017, 04:42:52 AM
$100k ... yup, I said it. Especially if they can get the fees/scaling under control.

they will control fees by installing more machinery of bitcoin miners which will boost up the current network load , or they will split the currency dure fork. 100k$ not possible in a short time it will be in 2025 year not in short period.  25k$ normal till 60 days
Yeah people want to use bitcoin as currency and this use will give huge rise of price to the bitcoin but the main thing is the transaction fees are very high and in start people said that as the bitcoin will become more valuable prices will come down but this didn’t happen bitcoin organization must have to think about this thing that people need lower fees to circulate it and maybe if fees get low prices will be more higher at the end of 2k18.
This is what people really want but the truth is that is not feasible right now and it is becoming more difficult in making transaction and that is gradually drifting bitcoin towards being a speculative asset. I am not sure if that is good enough but I am sure being a currency would really make it more interesting and will make it grow even faster in value than we have now.

Even with this value, there is nothing one can really pin point to be driving the value up except for speculations and FOMOs which is making it more like a bubble which it should not be. Once the scaling issue is solved, that would make it more appealing to use and would drive up the value even more and even get bitcoin better to the mainstream, but for now, that is just not something that seems possible.
