9081  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin touches $10,000 in Bithumb(south korean exchange) on: November 28, 2017, 03:52:53 AM
Bitcoin touches $10k in south korean exchange bithumb(one of the largest exchange). There are many reactions coming along.

Here is Julian Assange tweet https://twitter.com/JulianAssange/status/935177898285322241

Excited and also thinking about the future as well.

With the current trend on bitcoin price today, $10,000 is kinda an easy target to reached now erasing doubts by others that lots of correction on the price should supposed to happened before it reached that price level.

Actually there are other guy who says that Bitcoin could 'easily' reach $40,000 by the end of 2018. Note that 'easily' term. Smiley

9082  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex verification issues on: November 25, 2017, 12:35:25 AM
Hello there, everybody.

I'm sorry in advance if i've chosen the wrong thread to post my topic.
I recently got into trading and i've been told to start with a bittrex.com as my first trading website. Thing is, as soon as i decided to register i wanted to get fully verified so i won't face any further issues so i uploaded my IDs.
But apparently, automatic verification couldn't do its job so for my verification it now needed for someone to manually review my IDs and, as it said, usually takes around 7 days.

It's been 3 and a half weeks already, i havent heard a thing from support team, they ignore all my emails and i simply can't start trading.
I really hope you guys can help me sort things out, any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Only them can help you so if that is the case you should wait even for longer. 3 weeks is a longer period for just a ID verification no matter how many did some submissions. That's why I don't want to undergo verification in an exchange outside of my country although Im fine with that ID submission.

Im not depositing any funds now to Bittrex since I see lots of complaints about verified accounts that needs to resubmit ther ID's. Plus Basic Verification now needs to submit ID's to in able to make withdrawals unlike before that the only thing need is Mobile Number. Really sucks.

here  it is: https://easywinner.yolasite.com/

You really pushed your plan. Nice effort. Here is my feedback:

If ever Im not a member of this forum and just lurking the web then I encounter your lottery website by any means, do you think I will just put money here? Should I think it is a shady thing?

Look at this:

Code:
if you make a payment then wait 24 hours for our system to choose the winner.
or contact us and we will respond to you immediately.

To participate in the draw, you have to pay $ 1 and participate in the lottery.

Please make payment now(use copy and paste function) BTC address: 17TnHaJksigRFgNw2cH1AEGR2SAfJU8nh8

It's no different from ponzi scheme eventhough ticket price is kinda not costy. You must show your visitors that you are really a legit one and really doing a fair system. That is the challenge for you now.

9084  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Trustable Exchanges as of Nov. 2017 on: November 24, 2017, 11:20:52 PM

I gave gathered 10 names here but please feel free to add any exchange you thing it deserves our attention

Bittrex
Coinbase/GDAX
Kraken
QuadrigaQC
CoinCorner
Poloniex
CanadianBitcoins
BitFinex
BitHumb
BitStamp

Bittrex, Poloniex, Coinbase and Bitfinex are those who are in the list that I have personally used until now.

There are lots of negative views about Poloniex this year but even one of those negative views, I haven't experienced it so basically Im using this trading platform until now. I can applied that too in Bittrex and Coinbase. No such thing as they gave me problems from years that I have been using them. Just some minor problems but eventually solved.

Except for Bitfinex that already experienced lots of "hacked" issues and "breaching" their security. Im really pissed off when they automatically converted my BTC funds there into a token after their platform have been hacked. Since then I never used this exchange.
9085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet to use for an ICO on: November 24, 2017, 10:34:06 PM
I plan to do an ICO. I read and got familiar with the process. What bugs me is:
1. Which wallet should I use in order to do an ICO via Etherium?
2. Is MyEtherWallet good for this purpose?
3. Can I receive money to my address regardless which wallet do I use?

Ok let's rephrase it to you want to joined an ICO.

1. No doubt that MyEtherWallet is your best option here

2. Yes (Must have ETH balanced) (Bookmark MyEtherWallet.com as there are lots of phishing sites around)

3. You will received token and not a money for a moment.

For number 1, that is if the ICO are based on ERC20 contracts, yes under Etherium network. There are other ICO/projects that runs on other network such as Waves. For here you neeed Wave Wallets.
9086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: November 24, 2017, 10:08:14 PM
Just ignore that 2 folks. They are just passerby here in this thread and will post "CAVS" "WARRIOS" to increase their post count. Clearly they didn't know the current status of NBA today on which lots of team are doing great performance and we can't really say now who will prevail and the strongest. Unpredictable as it is.

Back to NBA, looks like Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics is now the great contender for Ben Simmons of the Sixers to become the Rookie of the Year. Still early to say but to achieved that, they should acquired good stats in early games because that is counted. But I see in terms of point making, Simmons will lead here because we all know that in Sixers, there are only few who are doing most of the shot unlike in Celtics that I think all starters are good at perimeter and rainbow area e.g. Jaylen Brown, Kyrie Irving etc.

What I like about this kind, Jayson Tatum is that he is not as flashy but he is very effective and has a not touch outside. Very lanky and long that's why he can easily blocks shots. Interesting stats: He has 157 points in his first 11 games, the most of any rookie in Celtics since Paul Pierce. Too early too tell but this kid has a bright future ahead of him in the NBA. Ben Simmons will lead in point making, but in terms of impact Tatum is a big help in terms of team contribution.

Jayson Tatum is one of the future of Boston Celtics. For me, don't rush things and don't goal for a Rookie of a Year. Just play harder every game. If the current Celtics squad will not destroy their lineup in the next following season, I see they will be the one of the biggest threat by other teams that wants to bring home the NBA championship ring.

Isn't the injury of Hayward blessing in disguise? Im not saying negative here but I can't see Tatum's playing time will be longer if Hayward is on the floor.

Actually, Jayson Tatum is part of the original starters made by Brad Stevens. If Im not mistaken, all Boston Celtics game since NBA season opened, Jayson Tatum is part of the starting lineup. About playing time, maybe Tatum will not be affected if ever Hayward doesn't experienced that horrible injury. The one who will be affected is one their bench starters but not that much as their playing time are well distributed and I know Stevens will make good out of it.

Boston Celtics: Time to Give Tatum More Responsibility
9087  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: profit amount? on: November 24, 2017, 09:27:04 PM
What is your daily profit?
What percentage of your invested amount do you earn on an average (per day week or month)

I have different methods to earn bitcoin on which some of them aren't giving a fixed earnings. Most of my earnings came from doing trades so obviously no such thing as day profits here. It will all depend on how my coins on my portfolio list will behave. Since the challenge here is to deal with the price volatility of any coins, it needs time before I can execute my bearish activity.

What matters here, no matter the interval, the reward (profit) must be worth your effort, time and work.
9088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin seems outdated on: November 24, 2017, 09:09:12 PM
Bitcoin is slow , has high fees ... ? where are new upgrades ? When you look waves , eth , ltc , bitshares so bitcoin seems outdated against all these alts. When you look at all this upgrades and look at bitcoin so it seems like development is dead ... can someone explain me why btc can't have some new upgrades for faster blockchain or something like that ?

High fees in terms of USD value because price is increasing. Remember that BTC0.005 satoshis today have different value to BTC0.005 in the past. When it comes to fees, Im looking at bitcoin value and not on bitcoin USD value so still Im fine with the current fees but honestly we need a changed. Forks are meant to development but no doubt bitcoin still has strong fundamental to support the stand to the crypto world. ETH or any other alts are being created to changed how we are used to be on bitcoin but still even how good their coins are, bitcoin still prevail.

High price always associated with high fees so whether we like it or not we just have to deal with. Much way better rather than going back to BTC0.0001 fees with $500 value of BTC1.
9089  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How does one find information on potential trades? on: November 24, 2017, 08:09:12 PM
I know you can find places that will charge you for insider info, that's not what I'm looking for. Is there any place I can find general information on coins that could rise?

Use your "instinct" lol.

It's all depend on your own research and analyzation. Study the behaviour of their volume and movement for at least 12H to 24H duration. There are no specific place that can tell you accurately if a certain coin will rise. That is unpredictable and you must take a risk if you anticipate that a certain coin will rise. General information could be their ANN thread or just a simple search on Google but if you read something about the price thing here, it was all speculation. Even how technical and good an "expert" doing his prediction and forecast, it will all be spoiled once massive rally started whether for increase of decrease.

I suggest to build experience in trades more and soon while you progress, you can somehow automatically sees the idea of "instinct" decision in trades.

*not applied to bitcoin
9090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goverments to go AGAINST Bitcoin on: November 24, 2017, 07:33:35 PM
Is there any chance goverments to go against bitcoin if they see its something against them??

There are counties who already banned bitcoin. But that isn't because of bitcoin will do something against them. Different reasons behind those banned and you can search for that by yourself if you really want to know more.

Don't want do go beyond discussion on these as your concern is the chances. Instead I want to say to you that don't mind those as if you will look at the outer picture, bitcoin is still reachable by majority of countries in the world.
9091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: November 24, 2017, 07:13:13 PM
Still Cavaliers. Yes you think they might be the "aged" group but wait till you eat your words. They might be under and not dominating now but wait for it...

Warriors still the strongest team this coming 2018, for me it's the perfect team for now because they have the best shooter and also an intelligent coach.

Well the cavs and the warriors dob't look as invincible as they were last season though. Many teams beefed up their lineups and many are quite jelling pretty good. Even in the east, though its still too early to tell, the cavs seems to have lost that invincibility cloak and teams aren't as inferior to them as they were the past 2 seasons

9092  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A bitcoin MMORPG is a good idea?. a cryptoworld on: November 24, 2017, 07:03:14 PM
a game where people can buy, sell  and trade furniture for bitcoin, dogecoin, etherum, litecoin etc.
a game where you can go to different rooms created by different people, where you can trade your cryptocurrencies with a tiny small amount of commission for trade (to support the creators), and then, buy furniture in a official catalog where new furnis come and go, so then a lot of furnis can be turn into rare and being sell for more or less money, trade and exchange crypto with other people without any rules of the market, or buy and sell furnis with them, for more or less price.
a cryptoWORLD mmorpg where you can withdraw your cryptocurrency to your wallet or HAVE fun creating rooms and building your own space to make parties and games.

That is a good idea but..

There are ideas like that in the past wherein the whole output was great. But what happened? Why it doesn't became a hype? Because honestly, as a gamer itself, I see it will not be hyped for those who doesn't know the idea of bitcoin. Gamers here in the community are only taking I think 10% of the whole population. Also there are no developer who are willing to risks lots of money to promote that kind of game system. It really needs lots of money so that advertisement can touched even those who aren't involved in crypto. So in the end, the project will remained an idea.

Even those gaming idea projects who held an ICO in the past didn't reached their desired target.
9093  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Volatility on: November 24, 2017, 09:22:03 AM
Is volatility over in cryptocurrencies? Nothing is moving.

Cryptocurrencies are being most used for investment purposes and not as a currency itself. Since the beginning, that's the view of the majority. The proof? Just look how at some coin volumes gone crazy even for a minute even for our precious BTCitcoin. You can't say that volatility is over for just a duration of short term period without so much action and movement in price.

Honestly I don't know where does your view came from. Coins on my portfolio are moving and most of them are currently at reds lol.
9094  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Teach me how to trade on: November 24, 2017, 09:01:53 AM
Please as a newbie how can I trade , please teach me everything

Another newbie asking for spoonfeed.

Come on, we are all came from being newbie but try not to reached to the point that ALL LESSON must be teached to you by someone. Only asked where you are stuck. Read, read, read and understand all of them is all you need to do. Basic knowledge is enough and you are the one who will enhanced your knowledge.

My always advice, learn the basic and engage regularly in the world of trades. You will automatically soon how trading works while you are building experience. Goodluck then.
9095  Economy / Services / Re: Please suggest captcha solving sites on: November 24, 2017, 08:16:54 AM
I've tried the searching engine, but what I have fount is mostly outdated. So please suggest a captcha solving or similar sites.

Apply for a data encoder in your country instead. That is more worth it compare to time consuming with less rewards online captcha solving sites around.

Anyway... since you posted your concern here in bitcoin forum, I will assume you are searching for some ways to earn bitcoin even you are a newbie. I suggest to removed that captcha solving method in your list. Even for a newbie, it doesn't mean they have to go through a newbie method to earn bitcoin. There are lots of opportunities here like joining a bounty program of a ICO project (there are lots of bounties available around e.g social media advertisement, translation, articles writing, blogs etc.) and many more. Give it a time to explore.
9096  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc: hodl or invest? on: November 23, 2017, 09:16:11 PM
Is it better to hodl
btc or invest it in other crypto like bitcoingold or bitcoincash or bit connect and others? Where will you profit more?

Hold bitcoin if you eye for long term goals. That's it.

If you want to diversify your earnings, you need to face the risks of investing on other altcoins. What coins should be considered here? It's up to you to make a research so that no one could be blame if someone told you to invest on "this" coins. Where you can profit more? Again up to you because your profit will depend on your strategy and not our strategy. I suggest that gather basic knowledge first before engaging in actual trades so that you really know what you are doing.
9097  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Pending transaction on coinbase on: November 23, 2017, 08:52:20 PM
Thank you all for your advise and please keep any suggestions coming as it is still not resolved.

Honestly 6 days is a long period for a pending transaction (the transaction was not processed yet because as you said, there is no transaction hash at the receiving address). Although it may happened, there must be a transaction hash on your Coinbase wallet even it was pending but unfortunately, none. And you are 100% sure that everything is correct.

Coinbase is the one who can help you here since it wasn't process yet at their side, no record at the blockchain yet. Fees is also not the issue as Coinbase is using above the average fees for every transaction. The best thing you can do is to send Coinbase tickets "everyday" so that it can always bumped. I said "everyday" because it's alarming and I understand your frustration.

Hope one of these days Coinbase will respond to you to see what errors happened during the transaction.

At Bittrex, if you start a withdrawal, the first status of the withdrawal is 'pending' and if you confirm at the link in the email message, it changes to 'Authorized' and a bit later it shows up in the blockchain and in the wallet with 0 confirmation first, and later on it gets confirmed.

Coinbase doesn't have a confirm withdrawal email.
9098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum All Time High on: November 23, 2017, 08:36:15 PM
The second powerful coin Ethereum is trying to hold its position, will it cross $400 mark?

We must see Etherium increase it's value in terms of bitcoin and not on bitcoin's USD value.

Etherium can established a good USD price without relying on bitcoin value. So a changed must be made and hope that Etherium price will goes back again to above BTC0.08 (not USd value) like it was used to be "in the past".

No such thing as competition here. We don't need it. Instead, take advantage of the crypto that have good value around that can take us in long term.
9099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: November 23, 2017, 08:18:25 PM
..seeing some DeAndre Jordan trade rumors lately I hope the Minnesota Timberwolves will give an attractive offer without their Big 3 of course.

Yes DeAndre Jordan was now put at the trading rumor list. No teams have been reportedly interested in him but maybe after the rumor we're become closed to reality, we can see lots of teams who will try to get this center. DJ will be a free agent next year and if Clippers will waived his contract, I think the offer now is not that high compare to his early years in these team. With the bad start for the Clippers, they need to make a move by marketing their starters to get a good revamp on their current roster. We see a downtrend in his potential when Paul was being traded. No doubt, Paul can give him lots of open look when they are together but now struggling to find an easy one without forcing the paint.

Let's wait what will happen here.....
9100  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex Withdrawal Problem due to Verification on: November 23, 2017, 07:59:51 PM
Been using the site for several years without any problems. I was able to withdraw a few days ago but now it states that I need to be verified before I can withdraw....I've been verified a long time ago! It let me deposit, but they wont let me withdraw.....It looks like they have a liquidity problem----> been here before!  Think an exchange got us again!

Bittrex sucks, one can't withdraw unless verified. earlier my account was legacy and now it's tagged as new, it's ridiculous. this is how they treat their early user. i got 50 mBTC stuck in there. Undecided

Bittrex sucks, one can't withdraw unless verified. earlier my account was legacy and now it's tagged as new, it's ridiculous. this is how they treat their early user. i got 50 mBTC stuck in there. Undecided

I am pissed!  Mine is tagged as new too, and I just made a similar withdrawal a few days ago.  If I ever get my money out, I will never use them again. It's beginning to look like they are just making up excuses in an attempt to let their deposits catch up to their withdrawals.  This happened to me at cryptsy too before they ran!  Same thing ---> looks like Bittrex has a liquidity problem.

Ok looks like a new policy again and because of your posts I will refrain from using Bittrex for now.

At the time this thread was created, what OP needs is just Basic Verification (basically just a mobile number) so that withdrawal will be available and it goes smoothly as confirmed by OP on previous page. Out of curiousity, I created a new account now and what I saw from Basic Verification now is we need to verified our details unlike before that mobile number is enough.

Weird. My account was tagged as BASIC there so withdrawals should be fine too. I supposed to transfer some of my funds to them a while ago but I saw your responses here so I suddenly not to do it at the moment. Maybe will wait for more responses.
