9101  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: February 11, 2017, 08:06:57 AM
Despite the fact that Fiat is supported by states and their laws, in contrast to the bitcoin world still heavily tied to real money. People will need them all the time.

Exactly. fiat covered most of the transaction in the world, and bitcoin is only a very small fraction of it. So it's really hard to turn away from fiat. With that said, bitcoin is not yet capable of replacing fiat.

The fact is that the Bitcoin is money for a special caste of people, rather than for a wide Zaga.

That's right. But  all are are welcome to use bitcoin.  Smiley

I agree. Widely used fiat cannot be turned away. I have some relatives who are leaning on fiat and that will be happening for a long time. I guess this discussion is really certain if we want change. There will be laws first before finalizing everything. Many parts of the world are still not reached by the technology we are using rigt now.
9102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where is the Balance? on: February 10, 2017, 01:19:24 PM
Increasingly businesses are coming under some form of regulatory framework around the globe. For instance, on Wednesday the People’s Bank of China held a meeting with bitcoin exchanges operating the country with the aim of putting new regulations in place to guide them.

Meanwhile, the major selling point of bitcoin has been the privacy that it offers its users. With bitcoin enterprises and activities coming under the focus of regulators, where does the balance for bitcoin enterprises between protecting customers and trying to impress regulators?

Here you will find the balance:
1. Coinbase was made for Bitcoin, not the other way round;
2. Bitcoin is sure to go on without the likes of Coinbase;
3. Bitcoin was born a decentralized currency;
4. governments love Blockchain, but hate Bitcoin.
.

I have that evil smile when I read this one.  Cool

Regulators. What are they regulating? Isn't it obvious that it is all just because of large amount of money. Why now? Because bitcoin is hitting the thousand mark? They didn't even care when it was all down to almost nothing and now they want in. What hypocrites.
9103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in casinos on: February 10, 2017, 12:37:16 PM
Well, now i have no experience of investing in casinos, but so far as i know it will be trust-able, becasue i don't see any bad thing about any gambling sites, and i am show all gambling sites are trust-able. So if you want to invest in any casino than should see the history about this casino, otherwise, i think it is a good idea.

Why not try for yourself? It is not that bad to invest in casino's even the returns and profits are not that high but if you want to diversify the bitcoins you got. Investing in casino's is one of the best investment so far, just choose the casino's that are reputable and has good record from their early investors. Try it for yourself.
you should never to expect a high return when it comes to an investment.
the ROI will not attracting you but at least provide you a promising profit compared to do business by yourself.
the risk lower than have to gamble by yourself or do your own business, especially in casino investment where there is few case casino bankroll down to zero.

We should really not expect high returns because others think that investing in casino's are guaranteed to give them good profit. They may give good profit but the sad thing is that it is not that high at least that is good profit because it is a legit service that casino's are offering to us to be part of their operation which is a good thing.

Actually it is good profit but there are times that casinos are also losing then, they wont give any profits to their investors also. Once I saw a graph by someone who are getting high returns for every big name casinos here in bitcointalk. I think he is doing quite well because he did invested to a lot of casino websites.
9104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin without Altcoin ? on: February 10, 2017, 10:12:16 AM
If there is no altcoin, then the user bitcoin can not increase dramatically, remember that very large user contributed altcoin bitcoin, when someone introduces a altcoin then he will also say bitcoin so people will find out about bitcoin.

Not entirely true. Okay, altcoins help due to introduction to a certain altcoin can lead into bitcoin investment. But let us rethink that or how about we make the question backward? Altcoin without bitcoin?  Grin There is nothing. There would be no altcoin if bitcoin is not made. The altcoins are the ones who are relying to bitcoin not the other way around.
9105  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best practices to do or trade while bitcoin is dropping on: February 10, 2017, 05:47:03 AM
You traded it to ETH now it will depend on the price of that. This is a different story now it could take long for the ETH to pump but if there will be no movement for that coin then i suggest you buy back to bitcoin because it is really low now plus Valentines is coming. There will be a lot of online purchases.
9106  Economy / Economics / Re: Will you invest in a MLM scam in early stage? on: February 09, 2017, 02:44:19 PM
Still scary.

I am so out of this. I dont know why but it really got a bad reputation to me. Look, you need to be sure that they will be staying for a year for ROI and every month you will be thinking "What if this is the last?". That is just so stressful man. I dont want to stress myself thinking of it always if it will go left or still go on the right direction considering my money is in their pockets and anytime they could run away.  Sad
9107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: February 09, 2017, 10:14:19 AM
Very likely, when all transactions can be done by yourself without any bank will certainly make the banks deserted and slowly can close the business. I'm sure if everyone using bitcoin, then the bank will close automatically but no time soon, because the user has not been much bitcoin.
That is only possible if all of us are using bitcoin but as i can see it is not recognize yet especially here in our place so it wont gonna happen sooner majority of people trust banks.

And that is a way far of our concerns and I dont think we are still alive to see that. Everyone using bitcoin? While it is being more used at the deep web for illegal transactions. It is hurting the trust of those people who wants to be part of this crypto currency while those evil syndicates are using it more just for their selfish reasons. This should be changed first or else something bad might happen if it this goes for too long.
9108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bribing via bitcoin a good idea? on: February 09, 2017, 08:25:21 AM
Who will you bribe? Of course it is a good idea because there will be no trace but the problem would be is the one your bribing it to knows what you are sending him?

Or are you going to put instructions in an evelope with the USB in there? He might think it is just virus or something that could hack his personal computer.
9109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin saving on: February 08, 2017, 01:23:21 PM
yes its possible to make savings with bitcoin as it allows us to keep our money untouched because not all store and website and other money investing institues accept bitcoin. we have only limited areas where we can spend bitcon so it act as a saving service for future and the best part is that we can get more value in future as compared to present rate.

I accept it. Bitcoin savings will help us for sure due to potential and price value. To have a comparison, bitcoin is similar to gold. If we invest and save today then it will make big amount in future. I suggest to save your bitcoin in desktop wallet for the security purposes.
We both have same instinct when it comes to saving bitcoin, as long as I wanted to have as many coins as I have, but for now I can't really help myself but to withdraw sometimes especially when I need it most.
Realizing that if you want something you have to know how to control yourself.

There is no problem with withdrawing your coins, that is one good part of it. Using it as money does good stuff also, it makes the circulation of bitcoin and somehow it also creates a fluctuation.

That is the one thing I loved about bitcoin aside from making us anonymous and helping secure our transaction. Dont regret spending it.
9110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: February 08, 2017, 11:03:35 AM
I want to pay some attention to NEM project. It is one of the best bockchains on the market still to be discovered in near future. Developers are hard working and community is strong, growing everyday. I have strong confidence that NEM will succeed.
As for other altcoins, there are many interesting projects and many scam-shit coins. We need time to sort the things out. I expect more projects to come in the future as they have advantage to learn from the mistakes of crypto pioneers.

Yes NEM is a strong coin. I have invested in it before and in July 2016 I withdrew when the price came up. But now its price went back down so I think it is safe to buy again and be invested in it. The percentage of it going back up is a higher than for it to go down.

Go for it, the value of that coin will go up again if a lot of us could support it.
9111  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: February 08, 2017, 08:24:32 AM
The kids are very sharp supposed if you teach them right method how to make money through Bitcoin, They will find an easy way to make bitcoin means they will choose to gamble to make bitcoin. Yes, the kids will not concentrate on hard work they need easy work and money. In Bitcoin, the gambling is the only easy way to make money. I will not suggest kids learn about bitcoin in early age.
Yes introducing bitcoin to kids might lead to many unwanted consequences as adults also facing such consequences after getting involved in bitcoin ecosystem.

The opportunities and availability of different things in bitcoin world more easier and readily available to everyone. So, we need to be more careful if we plan to introduce bitcoin to our kids. Like many people said here I am also not considering this as a good idea.
everything have some negativity and positivity both. bitcoin also have these two things. now it is up to the parents or the person who guiding kids about bitcoin. he should properly tech kids about bad things of bitcoin and warn them to not use these harmful features..
bitcoin do not have any negativity. although some weakness are there, which can be overcome. i think those parents who want their to learn about bitcoin as currency and how to use it, the its ok, but if they are teaching then how to earn money from it or how to invest it then it is not good. i think children need to complete their education first and when they enter in the practical life then they should learn trading and investment.
Indeed bitcoin do not have any negativity but some faucet owner made a faucet like a gambling for exampale many faucet using dice games and if kids playing faucet to get a free bitcoin, indirectly they have learned to gamble is not that a negative thing.

Yeah like freebitco dot in. You are always near the temptation of gambling it because itbis already there. Kids might see that and may also start gambling any minute. There is also a jackpot hit where you can make a lot of satoshi which can be used to gamble.

I think it is a part of their strategy to get all those satoshis that they paid for faucets. It is really a good idea but in a bad terms.
9112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin without Altcoin ? on: February 08, 2017, 02:48:48 AM
Bitcoin without the altcoin is not good and it would never came so far without it for sure...
although alt coins are not necessary for bitcoin but still they are providing a little support to bitcoin. as most of the people like to invest their bitcoins in alt coins and for that reason i think alt coins are important for bitcoin.
I think bitcoin does not need Altcoins but I have no problem with the existence of altcoin. although I am a novice trader, but I had some time to get profit from trading bitcoin- altcoin.
You might doesn't need altcoins personally, but for a sustained growth alternate competence is required. Why should you need bitcoin. It too emerged competing fiat and with its advancement took the position as the head of digital currency. Same is with altcoins bitcoin competes and grows, else we could have never reached the current level.

Yes. Great answer. As of tge competition it really does matter to gain more value. What else is there? Some of those who wants to buy altcoin are going to a bitcoin transaction first. In this event they buy bitcoin and the demand is gettig higher. Imagine if all altcoin will be passing with bitcoin first before they can buy what crypto currency they want. That would really make a big change for its price.
9113  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive Income on: February 07, 2017, 02:28:45 PM
I would really be careful with that. ICO's are risky investments for many have used this just to collect money then run. I would rather invest my money to the known gambling sites here which are paying a large amount of bitcoin just for advertisement here and also making twitter and social media campaigns which pays much also. With this you will know that this website are to be trusted if they can pay up that large amount of money. That means they really prepared a big amount of capital for popularity reasons.
9114  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I educate myself on bitcoin for investing? on: February 07, 2017, 12:13:19 PM
Dude you are already on this forum. I guess that is why you registered here for the purpose of knowledge. You are on the right website, all you have to do is read more specially those who are warning about other investing sites. So that you wont get a wrong step in every decision that you will make.

I suggest you look also on some high ranking gambling websites here, they can give you good profits just investing with them. I think .01 bitcoin is their minimum.
9115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Confirmation Time is now not a problem at local shops. Buy without any wait on: February 07, 2017, 08:43:13 AM
A minutes ago an idea came to my mind and I hope it will not be wrong.

Most of the people say that buying with bitcoins at local shops will be bothering as they will have to wait for longer at the local shop for the confirmation of their payment in bitcoin to the shop/store. But one thing is in my mind that if a person pay a suitable miner fee for a transaction then that transaction cannot be cancelled. So if a person will pay in front of the shopkeeper and the shopkeeper will know that the person have paid a suitable fees then he will provide the good at zero confirmation (without waiting for any confirmation).

What do you think about that idea?

There is just one problem with that. You will be paying more than what you are buying.
You bought a chocolate in a nearby convenience store for a dollar in bitcoin price. The miners fee to make ir faster is a dollar and 50 cents.
Ergh that wont work my friend.
9116  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: February 07, 2017, 07:11:21 AM
Believing in it wont gain you nothing and lose nothing. How about investing at the same time? With this currenct price believing is not a question anymore. It dueled with the low price from the past then come back here again. Is that hard to believe it now?
Actually it is more of a belief now we are starting to trust it because it proves it can do more than what history had done.
9117  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: February 07, 2017, 05:46:47 AM
To grow the adoption of bitcoin we need people spending it as a daily currency.
In my country there is not much I cant buy with bitcoins.
Granted not a lot of retailers accept BTC yet but with all the services available now they dont need to.
A bitcoin debit card can be very handy.

Nowadays if I need to pay a bill then I can pay any bill via a site called livingroomofsatoshi

Please list any reasons why you could not use bitcoin for day to day expenses and maybe we can find a way.

Not all nation right now is not that familiar with bitcoin so far, And it depends on the country maybe due to there is country in which bitcoin is very much welcome like in Australia, and China so on and so fort. Lucky for me that I can pay my bill via bitcoin, how? we have one of the merchants here accepted bitcoin were you can pay the bill for, water, electric, etc. I guess one day in your place someone will also accept bitcoin like my case here in my country.

Yes there are restrictions for different countries. Just yesterday evening I was trying to withdrew one of my funds from a certain wallet but somehow I was unable to. Later that night I discovered my VPN is open but didnt know to which countrt my IP is using. This events tells that some parts of the world are still not having access with bitcoin.

When I took the VPN off the transaction continued.
9118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They have a Bitcoin beer vending machine in Vancouver on: February 06, 2017, 01:58:49 PM
Okay that was cool. But is it going to make a change?
It is just a vending machine and I think Coca Cola can make one just like this if they want to or of they are into bitcoin too.
This is not much of a help just a promotion of what? This will trashed by more people here. We need something better.
9119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most of the money on: February 06, 2017, 12:52:40 PM
If it is online I have only played dice and I have earned some from Yobit. It is just about how you will control it. There are stops that is needed to be done before trying to bet again. When you are winning in a streak, it is like the program of the website is trying to get back what is lost. So I thought let it be taken from others while I rest for the meantime. Is it just me or some of you thinks of dice also like this? I have done being greedy too but if you have a large amount to gamble then it is easy to win it back.
9120  Economy / Economics / Re: How much are you willing to pay in fees for a Bitcoin transaction? on: February 06, 2017, 08:17:17 AM
I am willing to pay a dollar  Grin. I dont do big volumes of bitcoins but 1 USD is all I can provide. I would rather wait than almost all my profit will be turned. Maybe if I will be transacting large amounts then I will be willing to pay above that considering they will do it faster.
